Random idea, which KOTLC character use which social media the most

Sophie: Pinterest prob, needs images and esthetics to calm herself down

Dex: Tumblr. He has the chaos of Tumblr in him.

Fitz: I’d say Discord, he uses social to talk with the people, not for anything else.

Keefe: I’m not sure. TikTok I’d say. He’s def a video format guy, and there are so many things, he would find every niche and jump from one to another.

Biana: she’s an influencer on Insta. Showing herself, pretty pictures, encouraging people to accept their bodies as she accepted her scars, makeup and hair tutorials.

Tam: is he on social media? YouTube. He talks. Found his way to explain what goes in his head, he makes long videos about very special interests. Probably turns off the comments.

Linh: Pinterest. Shares pictures of her water sculptures, of every beautiful landscape she finds.

Stina: starts drama on Twitter/X.

Marella: on Twitter/X too, sometimes takes part in dramas, sometimes just watching them with popcorn. And goes on Tumblr to laugh and cope.

Maruca: has every social, likes everyone’s post, sometimes shares her most random thoughts in Instagram Stories.

Wylie: not a fan of social media, spends some time on Pinterest, on Instagram, doesn’t post anything.

Jensi: uh. Good question. He was on X but ended up thinking people were definitely too stupid, so moved to just looks at the comments (and sometimes add some) under YouTube shorts probably.

If I were to rewrite KOTLC, I would combine Marella and Biana and make Biana the pyrokinetic to give her an actual reason for being there, and I wouldn't have Maruca or Stina (or Jensi though he doesn't really count) be a part of the main gang at all. I actually might even take out Keefe, and change the Neverseen's plans a bit.

I'm also making Tam and Linh a part of the Neverseen and removing Glimmer from the equation. Wylie remains a somewhat separate peer/mentor figure due to the fact he's a whole ass adult.

Cutting the main group from ten people (Sophie, Keefe, Biana, Fitz, Dex, Tam, Linh, Marella, Maruca, Stina) down to six (Sophie, Fitz, Biana, Dex, Tam, Linh) gives all the characters more space to develop and have noticeable roles within the plot.

The Aphrodite Cabin is as pretty as always. It's pale pink, purple, blue, and white, and either looks like a bi dream or a pastel palace. Maruca's never been able to peg either one as a solid answer.

Biana's alone inside, sketching a random dress. Maruca's always been a fan of them, and sometimes Biana's able to make the dresses.

Nevertheless, Maruca instantly gets distracted by Biana's sketches. This time, it's a water-inspired dress that almost looks like it's made from sea.

"That's super cool," Maruca says.

"Thanks!" Biana grins, and Maruca forgets to breath for a few seconds. "Don’t tell her, but it’s for Linh.”

"Do you know where she is?"

"Nope, sorry."

And so Maruca goes to the place she should really have checked first.

She really should've thought that the daughter of Poseidon would be near the water first.

And, as always, Linh greets Maruca with a smile and a custard burst.

"Fitz made it," she explains.

"Ooh, you got the good stuff."

Indeed, Fitz's creation is as good as always.

"Happy anniversary," Linh says, smiling.

Maruca matches it. "Happy anniversary," she says, and kisses Linh.

ok so idk if this is “weird” enough to go on this blog, or if I should have asked it on your main, but I’ve been rotating a heathers x kotlc crossover in my brain for a while and decided I’d share it with you, tumblr’s resident bookworm theatre kid.

what I have so far - Sophie as Veronica, keefe could be jd (rip sokeefe), I think that Biana could be Heather macnamara bc though she started out as sort of a “mean girl” type character, she’s developed a lot since her introduction. Stina could work as Duke or Chandler, I think, though I’m leaning towards Duke bc she’s starting to get a bit of a redemption arc. I really don’t know about anyone else tho????? (Maybe dame alone could be the teacher bc they’re both annoying educators (well I guess not anymore for Alina but still) but I genuinely don’t know past that)

ok the most insane thing about this is that I have Dead Girl Walking (Reprise) AND Seventeen on my sokeefe all moods playlist. They're like....slightly healthier JD/Veronica. BIANA AS MCNAMARA!! I would do Stina as Chandler, Maruca as Duke, and Biana as McNamara. marella as martha perhaps? or dex? I see where you're going here anon....

Why do you like Biana x Maruca?

they're fascinating to me!!!

just the concept of them is enough to pull me in. best friends to enemies to awkward allies. but theres like!! more to it!! if you look for it!!

even before sophie entered the picture, i assume there was some underlying tension between them. maruca is related to prentice. how did she feel about alden? did she think prentice was innocent or guilty? either way, how can you sit at the dinner table with the man who helped destroy the lives of part of your family without feeling something?

and biana's role in society in general. she is a vacker. she has to play into people's expectations of her, including matchmaking. and maruca's chances of being on those lists when shes part of the family that alden disgraced is very slim.

and then sophie!!! ohhh my god sophie. maruca is probably already having doubts about the future of this relationship and then she comes in. this is the secret that prentice sacrificed himself for. maruca has chosen biana over prentice. and now biana is choosing prentices experiment over her. it was for nothing. she knew that this relationship was not going to last but it didnt have to end like this.

so shes mad!! she ends it and spills bianas secrets to foxfire and starts hanging with stina!! someone who understands her because both of them have families that have been criticized by society!!

and then it doesnt even end there!!! because over the next few years maruca fades into the background and watches what biana becomes. she is no longer the perfect vacker!! she was exiled and scarred and her brother was part of the neverseen and that perfect reputation has been shattered!! the pedestal she was on is gone and shes now at marucas level. prentice is back and sophie is actually maybe a good thing and biana isnt perfect and maruca suddenly has an ability that she knows could help them.

so she takes a chance and reaches out!! and now shes a part of it and she has to see biana and face the fact that she was wrong about her. that their relationship didnt have to end the way it did. that there was room for her in bianas life despite their families reputations and societies standards. and she has to figure out where to go from here.

godddd... i hope so badly that shannon follows up on their friendship at some point..

If the main KotLC gang (Sophie, Keefe, Fitz, Dex, Biana, Maruca, Marella, Linh, Tam, Stina and Wylie) were benders what elements would they be and why? (Including the avatar)

i've been waiting for this ask, so *crack knuckles*, let's do it!

Sophie: The Avatar. You saw it coming. A gazillion abilities in the ATLA world would mean all 4 elements, right?

Keefe: Fire. He's an Empath, and firebending stems from emotion, you know? See where I'm getting here? Eventually develops airbending after Gisela's crazy experiments.

Fitz and Biana: I'm not too sure. I want to also say fire for Fitz and water for Biana. Maybe Alden is a firebender and Della is a waterbender, and Alvar came out as a nonbender and faced scorn from other people, which caused his villain arc? (this is keeping me up tonight)

Dex: Nonbender that's great with inventing and gadgets. Think Sokka or Asami.

Maruca: Earthbender. Earthbenders can make shelters or safe places out of earth, and Maruca is a Psioniopath.

Marella: Fire. We saw this coming.

Linh: Water. No questions asked. She'd be an extremely talented one like Katara too. Knows how to bloodbend and accidentally did it to Tam when she was angry. Linh hasn't bloodbended since (oh, how i live for KotLC x ATLA lore)

Tam: I think he's an air bender but has his own unique powers and style. Maybe he can only bend specific substances, and that's where the shadows come in? Shadowvapor's described as airy in the book, so he can probably bend that.

Stina: Probably from some important noble earth kingdom family. Earthbending kinda matches her.

Wylie: Fire. Flashes, sparks, you get the idea.
