hot take but i hope alvar and ruy suck in canon. i hope they hate eachother. i hope due to circumstances ruy has to work w the main cast and resents fitz sooo much for being like alvar. i hope theyre misrable. i hope ruy dies and alvar swears to himself that he doesnt care. i hope he doesnt cry. i hope he just feels this pit of emptiness within him for the rest of his life. i hope he tries to join ruy. i hope he fails. i hope he never moves on. i hope he regrets everything. i hope he would never change a thing. i need sleep.

fun fact when i first joined the kotlc fandom/interacted with it online i was not at all up to date with the books, and so i did NOT know who ro was. however, i did not at all come to the conclusion that a new character had been introduced. instead, i came to the conclusion that ruy had became a good guy and transed his gender

the reason she's always wearing an addler is because she hasn't achieved her transition goals yet and doesn't want anyone to see or remember her until she has. bad guy -> good girl arc when shannon
