in the Only Meg Timeline (where he saved young mikasa). What if Megatron (or Matthew) save Carla Jeager from the shiganshina attack. Like i would imagine Megatron just lift the debri that crushed her leg and just carrying her.
Carla: Please Matthew, Take the children and go-
Megatron just lifting the debri with ease.
Carla: What?!
Like Eren and Mikasa would be relieved that their mom/aunt is saved but also surprised how strong Megatron is (even hannes and Carla is surprised)
Hannes:...wow this guy is strong
Like Eren would probably annoyed Megatron. Telling him to train him to become Stronger.
Eren: Please Matthew!
Megatron: no.
Previous Episode of this timeline
So I don't know what Mikasa's Acker-awakening would be. I've thought about having it be the moment she's trying to save Carla and she just manages to get the strength to lift the house just enough for Eren to pull her out.
But in hindsight, it is funny that Megatron would be just attached enough to go to Shinganshina to stop the titan invasion and save Carla while he was at it. And Eren likes Megatron in this timeline, so it would be funny if he was able to clock in that 'Oh this massive titan is in fact this random murder hobo that just joined our family and saved my mom'.
Although Megatron would have a whole new slew of problems because he wanted to remain out of the conflict.
Megatron: Listen to me.
Eren: Uh huh.
Megatron: You know nothing.
Eren: Uh huh.
Megatron: You saw nothing.
Eren: Mhm.
Megatron: Say anything to anyone and they will never find your body.
Eren:...So does that mean you really eat bugs because titans have only been known to eat people.

Acker's Multiverse Classification System
Elias created an unofficial classification system for the multiverse to classify universes based off of factors such as danger level, tech level, and the presence of things like magic. Both Elias and Leah use this system, and it will also be generally used on the blog.
Brief note: Spawning refers to where a hopper will appear in a universe, usually it will be the equivalent of where they entered a gate, which typically is just directly on the other side of the gate. However in universes where the action is happening far away from where the spawn point world be, or that a direct equivalent doesn't exist, it will spawn the hopper at a place equivalent in spirit.
Elements inspired by @chaosmultiverse
Danger Level
Class 0-A: No danger at all besides from environmental obstacles such as water or cliffs. The universe might be post apocalyptic with ruins of civilization present. Fauna is extremely limited and there is no sapient life in the universe. Life is sustainable here due to ability to get supplies through some means native to the universe.
Class 0-B: As above but life is unsustainable due to a lack of native supplies. These are more likely to have no complex fauna at all and extremely limited flora.
Class 1: Danger is extremely limited, but possible to encounter. Fauna and flora are likely pretty normal. Sapient life can be present, even in great numbers. Powers might be present but aren't strong or the full applications of them never used. This includes universes such as most toddlers cartoon universes and some children's, post apocalyptic with some survivors who have banded together, and slice of life aus.
Class 2: Danger is present but not overwhelming. Most universes similar real life life fall under this class. Powers are more likely to be present but still are rather limited. This includes universes such as most realistic universes, historical universes, some fantasy and sci-fi universes.
Class 3: Danger is difficult to avoid but not overwhelming. Powers are far more likely to be present in these universes. Fauna and flora start to get more dangerous. Minor apocalypses may be in their starting days or immediate aftermath or beyond. This includes many superhero universes, fantasy and sci-fi universes, and historical world war era universes.
Class 4: Danger is impossible to avoid or overwhelming in some way. Powers are highly likely in these universes. This includes universes in nuclear war, universes with eldrich conspiracies, apocalyptic universes, and some superhero universes.
Class 5: Danger is impossible to avoid and overwhelming. These worlds are nearly certain to become class 0 universes at some point once life has been wiped out. This includes universes with extreme apocalypses, worst case scenario nuclear war or powered war, post arrival eldrich universes, and universes near the end of their existence.
Class X (theoretical only): Entering these universes result in instant death, or near instant enough that escape is impossible. This includes universes where the spawn location is somewhere like the sun, there are no planets with a survivable atmosphere, all human life immediately ceases to exist, etc. Currently these universes are only theorized to exist as neither Elias or Leah have attempted to enter one, and haven't accidentally.
Class Z (theoretical only): Universes that do not kill instantly, but that are impossible to escape. This includes universes that instantly remove any and all powers a person has, ones with no surfaces to draw on or material to construct with (or universes lacking any form of door if lacking equipment), and ones that remove a person’s soul immediately. Currently these universes are only theorized to exist as neither Elias or Leah have attempted to enter one, and haven't accidentally.
Class Null: Universes that don't exist. These are extremely rare, but do exist (or well, not exist) such as universes Leah or Elias do not have, have not, and will never exist in. This also is used to refer to universes they try to enter with impossible specifications such as if trying to encounter the version of the other they know and then other specifications don't match the universe the other is in. Trying to enter these universes results in the hopper getting booted to the void.
Tech Level
Alpha: No tech at all to stone age.
Beta: Bronze age to iron age.
Gamma: Medieval to age of sail.
Delta: Industrial revolution.
Epsilon: Mechanized age.
Zeta: Nuclear age.
Theta: Technology equal to 21st century earth.
Iota: Technology feasible in the next fifty-hundred years.
Kappa: Full sci-fi but grounded in some present science or feasible scenarios.
Omega: Advanced technology beyond what is considered ever possible.
Extras
Magik: Some form of magic is present in the universe.
Powered: Powers not obtained through magic is present in n the universe.
Xeno-1: Humans don't exist or are not a dominant species, instead there is a different sapient dominant lifeform.
Xeno-2: Humans co-exist with other sapient life, possibly multiple species or just one other.
Regressed-(tech level): While their tech level is higher most of that tech is unusable for one reason or another, and besides from some choice things, they operate at this lower tech level.
Terra: The spawning planet is not earth, and earth may not exist.
Screwy (Leah only): Universes that Elias has significantly changed in some way, such as removing or adding people.
Eli territory (Leah only): Universes that Elias frequently is in and exerts a claim on.
Leah territory (Elias only): Universes that Leah frequently is in and exerts a claim on.
Examples
Since this is such a dense read here's a few examples of the system in use.
DC Prime Earth: A class 3 iota magik powered xeno-2 earth.
Star Wars: A class 3 omega xeno-2 terra.
Dragon Age: A class 3 gamma magik powered xeno-2 terra.
Payday: A class 4 theta magik earth. Would be misidentified as a class 2 theta earth.
John Wick: A class 2 theta earth.
The Walking Dead: A class 4 theta regressed-epsilon earth.

For You
____________________________________
Summary: Humanity's Strongest Soldier had quit the military. For you.
Pairing: Levi/Reader
Genre: Levi in looooveee, liddol angsty, happy ending, drama, dad!Levi
Words: 3.3K
____________________________________
[Note: This isn't a direct sequel to 'Falling'. But it falls in the same universe. If you want to read about how Levi met and fell for reader in this universe, check out my story Falling.]
____________________________________
'Levi what are you doing here-'
'I'm about to hold our daughter.'
'I can see that darling, but you're supposed to be at work. '
The short man didn't bother answering you, instead opting to pick up your two year old daughter. Little Kutchel squealed in delight, happily chanting 'papa'.
'Mamaaa.'
You felt a tug at your skirt, your one year old son was clinging to you. Farlan whimpered, his hands raised high, clearly wanting you to pick him up. With a sigh, you did so and realized he needed a diaper change.
'I'll be back in a few, and then we'll talk.'
Your only response was Levi complaining about how 'brat-the-first needed to stop drooling so much' as he raised a giggling Kutchel high in the air.
....................
Usually, once you managed to put your beloved children to sleep with a lullaby, you gazed at them in awe, affectionaly tucking them in. Both of them took after their father completely, his black hair and steel eyes. Farlan's hair was almost the same as Levi's, much to your amusement. Kutchel was a rather active and loud baby while Farlan was a little on the quiet side. You usually missed Levi on nights like these, wishing he could visit more. Tonight, however, you felt more uneasy rather then happy at his sudden presence.
'I quit.'
'You what?'
You couldn't believe your ears, surely you had heard him wrong.
'You heard me. I. Quit.'
'But why?'
No matter how hard you tried, he wouldn't give you a straight answer. No amount of questioning or pouting would work on him. In the end, he strolled up to you, rough hands gently holding your upper arms.
'Look, I had my reasons. Things got unbearable for me and-'
'But don't they need you-'
'They should have thought of that before. Now listen, I've already got another job lined up, so we don't need to worry about moneu-'
'But Levi, I still don't understand why you-'
'Just trust me. It's messed up shit.'
Looking into his eyes, the same eyes you had hopelessley fallen for all those years ago, you gave in. Of course you trusted him, how could you not? You wouldn't have married the man otherwise. ____________________________________
Things began to change as you got used to seeing Levi everyday. When the two of you had met, you had worked as a cook for the garrison engineers living near the Survey Corps Headquarters. Back then, seeing each other daily hadn't been an issue. But after getting married and having kids, you had moved into his house in the nearby village. It meant less time together as a family, but you had wanted your children to have stability.
You sat on the couch, well more or less laid on the couch, watching Levi entertain your children. All three of them of them sat on the floor, with toys scattered everywhere on the carpet.
Farlan played with some blocks, happily gurgling as he tried to figure them out. Kutchel, on the other hand, busied herself with Levi.
You could only laugh at the sight of Levi's deadpan expression as Kutchel climbed all over him. Neither of had seen it coming, but your babies had inherited the Ackerman strength ten fold. Holding up their necks extremely early, climbing out of their cribs, easily lifting things that were too heavy for normal babies.
When Kutchel had been seven months old, the two of you had woken up to find that not only had she escaped her crib, she had managed to climb into your bed and cuddle with Levi. Although befuddled, the sight of the two of them had been heartwarming beyond words, and you hadn't been overly cocnerned.
Her displays of unnatural strength had been, well, less then pleasant for the two of you. It had put you on guard. The near heart attack you had suffered through, when your one year old baby girl had hauled up one end of the sofa with her teeny tiny hand, while trying to get a toy that had gotten stuck there, had almost been too much. Levi had been torn between horror and amusement at the time, before intervening. And well, both of you preferred not remember how Farlan had smacked his tiny fist against the brand new wooden table during a tantrum and caused it to collapse.
'You brats will eat sitting on the goddamn floor for the rest of your lives now. I don't have the money to buy a table if your just going to-'
'Levi, they're just babies, let them be-'
'Oh I see, so we're selling your kidney to buy a new table-'
'Darling don't be so dramatic-'
Kutchel and Farlan merely ignored their irate father, babbling as they played with their toys.
The Ackerman strength was hereditary, the two of you had concluded. Hange had theorised that with every new generation, that unbelievable strength only grew, to the point that they could access it at an extremely young age. It was manageable for now, you mused to yourself, but it wouldn't be long till Levi would have to train them lest they hurt someone by accident. You got off the couch and slid to the floor, cooing to your son. Levi was scowling as he held Kutchel at arms length.
'Stop trying to rip my hair out, you brat.'
Kutchel leaned towards him while babbling. Levi allowed her little hands to rest on his cheeks, his expression softening at her grin.
'Wuv Papaa.'
You beamed at the sight, before turning your attention back to Farlan. He had been avidly bashing two blocks together and would burst out laughing at the sound. You gently caught him before he fell from the force of his laughter.
It had been a while since the two of you had been this peaceful.
...........
When the two of you had managed to put your babies down for a nap, you remembered some things that you needed to buy. Rushing out, you went to the market, hoping the shops you needed to go to weren't too packed today. Much to your suprise, during your excursion, you saw some of the Survey Corps members. You recognised them as the Special operations Squad. While you weren't necessarily friends with them, you did know their names.
As if reading your mind, one by one, they all caught sight of you. Another day, they would waved at you and maybe approached to help woth the bags. However, there were no signs of those friendly expressions today. In fact, you couldn't help but notice how they were looking at you. It made you feel as as if you had been the Colossal Titan that knocked down Wall Maria and ruined their lives. The ginger haired girl, Petra, was the one who really caught your attention. She had looked oddly guilty, and as though she was apologising with her eyes for a moment, before copying her comrades sullen expressions.
Startled and beyond confused, you opted to walk away from their line of vision. Your fears, that you had hoped were baseless, were slowly being confirmed. Levi quitting the military hadn't been well recieved. And if the way his former squad had looked at you had been any indication, they thought you had something to do with his decision.
____________________________________
Kutchel had been particularly fussy that night, unwilling to go sleep.
'Pway!' she had cried out, struggling in Levi's arms. It had taken a while but soon enough you were lying in bed, both your children deep asleep as you tucked them in blankets. The two of you had been exhausted, so when you heard the knock on the door, a very irritated Levi had quietly gone to check it out.
When he didn't return for a while and you heard muffled noises, you silently went to check on him, stopping short at the door at the sound of Petra's voice.
'-captain please reconsider-'
'Petra's right captain, we need you-'
'That's enough.'
They all straightened up.
'I'm no longer your captain-'
They all deflated, looking ready to argue. Levi held a hand up to silence them.
'I wish you all well in life. Don't involve yourself in this. This is between the higher ups and I.'
'Captain, we know this is because of your-'
'None of you know shit. Focus on going your damn jobs and minding your own business. Now leave.'
Olou, Petra, Gunther and Eld looked despondent as they made to leave.
'Petra-stay back for a minute'
All of them look surprised and curious, but didn't bother asking questions and left. They figured Petra would tell them what had happened later. The conversation took a weird turn you hadn't quite expected.
'You have some nerve coming all the way to my house after all the bullshit you pulled.'
'Captain- I didn't mean to, you know that. I was only following orders-'
'So your orders mentioned you bullshitting to everyone that I left the military because my wife asked me to?'
'...Captain I didn't say that. Everyone assumed-'
'And you allowed it. Don't fucking lie, you just didn't want any heat to fall on you. Stay away from her. Or else. I don't care what you're ordered to do. You've already made the situation worse then it should be.'
'Captain please-'
'Out. Now. Nothing you say can excuse the shit you pulled.'
As you heard Petra leave, you felt that sinking feeling in your stomach grow. So Levi had left the military for you. And the military hated you for it. The real questions was, why? ____________________________________
You watched your husband as he spoon fed mashed potatoes to Kutchel. His face was scrunched up in disgust, as Kutchel made sure that at least half the food ended up on her face and clothes. Farlan was taking a nap, happily tucked away in your arms.
'Kutchel--for the love of- eat your shitty food!'
'Darling, language-'
'I'm trying, just look at the shitty mess she's making, I might have a heart attack-'
'Shit!'
The two of you paused, staring in stunned silence as your two year old began chanting the one word you had hoped she wouldn't pick up from your husband. Levi avoided your gaze, no doubt knowing it was his fault, and instead started making feeble attempts at stopping Kutchel.
'Oi don't say that-'
'Shit papwaa!'
'What? No. Brat-the-first, you better forget you ever heard that-'
You chuckled a little, the sight of your usually calm and composed husband panicking was too funny. You struggled to maintain your smile, however, as last night flashed in your mind again.
Everything seemed fine. Levi was content. Your children were happy. His new job was paying well. He was home more then ever. Even if he had quit the military for you, the two of you were living your life even better then before. There hadn't been any changes in your loving relationship.
But, as you watched Levi scowl and carry a displeased Kutchel off for a bath she very much didn't want, you knew you wouldn't be able to continue on without any doubts. Not until you and Levi properly talked about this.
You didn't care if the military blamed you for Levi leaving and hated your guts. You only cared if the man himself was actually okay with his decision.
You don't want to be the reason for him to break his tradition of living no regrets.
____________________________________
You ended up putting off talking to him. At first by a few hours, then by a few days. Eventually days turned to weeks and somehow, it had been four months since he had quit the military.
While this could be largely attributed to you being a coward, it was also how busy the two of you had gotten. Farlan had a rough teething phase, Kutchel had decided to make a sport out of kicking the fridge and trying to climb out the window, and Levi's job had a new project he had gotten busy in.
On a sunny afternoon, you held your daughters hand, and kept your son hiked on your hip as you walked out of the market. What you didn't know was that, as you struggled to carry your shopping bags and manage your mischievous children, someone would help you. And, after walking you home, that someone would give you the answers to all the questions you had wanted to ask Levi.
Years later, you would silently wonder if Erwin Smith had come there that day on purpose. It was likely, after too many years of working with Levi, he had known Levi would rather die before telling you something like this.
____________________________________
In all the time you had known Levi Ackerman, which amounted to a good five years now, you had learned a great deal about him. His strength, strong will, desire to protect, his devotion to being a soldier, his dreams for the future. All his highs and lows, ones that no one else had ever been pivy to, you knew them by heart.
You knew the most regret he had ever felt in his life was when Isabel and Farlan died. You knew his heart ached when even one soldier lost their life in battle. You knew the most flustered he had ever been in his life was when he had wanted to confess to wanting to be in a relationship with you, only for Hange to scream declare his feelings to you instead.
Thankfully, no one else had been there, or else Hange wouldn't be alive right now. And he had made sure to ask you out in his own sweet and romantic way later.
You had seen him get emotional more times then anyone else. At the birth of your children. Their first words. Kutchel learning how to crawl and following him around everywhere, her first decleration of love for her 'pwapa'. Farlan crying everytime he left for work, clinging to his leg as he whined. The two of you had built a family together, leading a largely satisfying life together. However, the danger and importance of his job had never escaped you.
You had always known you were second to his duty as a soldier. He would have to go on long missions, ditch dates, miss birthdays and not be able to tell you anything about his work, but you accepted it.
You never expected more then he could offer, preferring to enjoy whatever time you could have with him. You were fully okay with being the second choice, and so, you certainly hadn't expected him to take such a big decision.
To pick you over duty.
'Zackley.....ordered you to take a second wife?'
Levi winced, his eyes determinedly staring at the floor. There was some shame in his eyes, as though he had committed some crime. With a deep sigh, he sat next to you on the couch and braced himself to give you answers. Your children were sound asleep in your bed, while the two of you sat in the living room.
'Word got around about Kutchel and Farlan having abnormal strength. Zackley initially wanted me to sign a shitty contract and agree to both of them joining the military. I told him to fuck off.'
'The military wanted to use our children as soldiers? Levi you should have told me-'
'I didn't want to worry you. Frankly, I was half scared Zackley would approach you and try to bullshit you into agreeing with him.'
'... What happened after you refused?'
'He started pushing for me to have more kids. One's I wouldn't be..attached to-'
'--with another woman.'
The severe expression on Levi's face gave away exactly how much he hadn't appreciated that particular line of thought.
'I turned him down. But Zackley started placing pressure. The shitty old man just got greedy because he wanted more super soldiers. Kept pushing random women on me, and then someone theorized that if my children with you, a civillian, were that strong, then with another soldier they would be even stronger....'
You frowned, you hadn't wanted to believe Erwin but..
'.. He picked Petra. That idiot didn't turn him down. Mostly because of orders and partially because of that stupid, childish crush she has on me.'
You were at loss of how to respond, feeling too much for you to even think about putting into words. So that's why why Petra had let everyone think it had been your fault Levi had quit the military.
If she had told the truth, she would have to admit that she had agreed to marry and bear the children of an already married man. And while it would have been under orders, it would have ruined her reputation.
Levi mistook your sudden silence as something else, genuine panic flashing in his eyes. He kneeled down in front of you, hands immediately grabbing yours. His voice was shook a little as he hurried to reassure you.
'I swear, nothing fucking happened. I ignored it all as long as I could. Then Zackley had the nerve to give an official written order and threatened to court martial me. I broke the goddamn table and walked away from the military that day and--hey, look at me'
His hand gently nudged your chin up, steel eyes looked sorrowful at the sight of your watery ones.
'.. W-what if you regret it?'
Levi shook his head a little, opening his mouth to argue. You didn't let him.
'The military has been with you for so long. How do I know you won't regret this five years from now? I know you loved that job Levi, I don't want you to give up-'
'I'm not giving up shit. I loved that job because I agreed with where they were heading. Their goals. The moment they started pulling dumb crap like this, I m wasn't going to stick around.'
He sat next to you again, right arm wrapping around your shoulders, his left hand hand tucked between your hands.
'Erwin said it would be better if I just left for a while. Zackley is senile and he's in a stubborn mood. Once the Queen gives birth to her child, which is any day now, she'll end this nonsense.'
'Are you sure?'
'Definitely. That brat hasn't been well, so Zackley has been in complete control this entire time. Its why he got so ballsy, the queen wouldn't approve of this shit. We wanted to avoid risking more friction in the military, and me quitting was the answer. Erwin figured it would be a lesson for them to see how much they needed me or some shit. '
You leaned into his chest, feeling much more calm now. So everything would end up okay, he wouldn't have to leave behind the job he had poured his blood, sweat and tears into.
'This is why I didn't tell you this shit. Fucking politics and crappy old men.'
'No, I needed to know....'
You pulled away from him, only to settle yourself in his lap. Your lips brushed against his gently.
'.. You really do love us, don't you?'
'Tch whatever.'
The slight redness visible on his cheeks gave away how he truly felt.

A/N: I know, I said I'd consider making a confession chapter. But I got this idea stuck my head and I figured, hey why not just set it in the same universe. Now that this idea is out of my system, I'll get started on it. I hope y'all enjoyed this! My asks are open, so you can make requests or ask whatever you want really. Till next time ⭐⭐

Name: Dec Hansen Pronouns: he/him Era: First Order Appears in: Join the Resistance trilogy
Dec Hansen was a scavenger and tinkerer who, with his droid "brother" AG-90, joined the Resistance as part of J-Squadron. He was a charming troublemaker and fiercely loyal to his friends. While not made explicit in canon, co-author Ben Blacker stated that he wrote Dec as a gay character, alluding to this through Dec's story about being "different from everyone else" and quotes other characters ("I've never known him to like a girl. It's just not how he is.")
Fun fact: Dec is the first gay character in a Star Wars children's book!
Check out Dec's video profile here.
Full profile under the cut:
Dec Hansen was a teenage member of the Resistance during the time of the First Order. He grew up on Ques, a damp, marshy planet in Huttspace. Dec used to be an only child, but his mother gifted him with a droid: AG-90. AG-90 and Dec were brothers from then on out, and they both joined the Resistance and trained to be pilots.
Dec appeared in the junior novel series Join the Resistance by Ben Acker and Ben Blacker. He was a scrapper, a tinkerer, a charmer, and a talented troublemaker. You’d usually find him with a smirk on his face, ready to undermine authority or talk his way out of trouble – which he was really good at.
Dec was fiercely loyal, and valued his friends and family over anything else. Once Dec considered you a friend, he’d be on your side no matter what. He was a committed member of the Resistance and a strong advocate for his squad, arguing that what made them different is what made them good rebels.
And Dec knows what it means to feel different. In book two of the series, Dec tells a story about how when he was younger, he started to realize that he was different from all the kids around him, and that he kept this difference secret because he thought his friends and family would hate him if they knew. Eventually, with the help of AG-90, he told his parents, friends, and other people around, and they loved him just the same.
In August 2018, author Ben Blacker confirmed on Twitter that Dec is gay.
There are other hints throughout the books that suggest that Dec is gay. His best friend, Sari, says that “she’s never known Dec to like a girl. It’s just not how he is.” Others are more vague, and could certainly be said or done by a straight character too. For example, he kissed one of the boys in his squad’s cheek, and told his brother: “Ain’t no way you’re handsomer than me. I’m real pretty.”

RivaMika and their children HEADCANONS
While Mikasa is still pregnant with the children, Levi cannot use his cleaning supplies liberally as Mikasa's nose will detect it from a mile away 🤣
First child is a male, second is female.
Boy has blue eyes from Levi and hair with middle fringe like Mikasa. Girl has gray eyes from Mikasa and bangs similar to Levi.
Boy is more carefree, rebellious, impulsive, and free-spirited. Girl is more prim and proper, serious, and stoic.
My names for their children are Liam for the boy and Miria for the girl.
Both children have Ackerman strength (of course 😍) and awakened once people close to them are in trouble.
When playing with toys, for example a ball, children throw it unknowingly strong due to Ackerman strength and end up damaging walls, furniture, glasses, picture frames, or mirrors etc accidentally. Levi and Mikasa have had to replace stuff or place things only in their master's bedroom because of this 😆
Both Levi and Mikasa are doting to their children and spoil them most of the time.
Mikasa is more lenient when the kids are still young, being an affectionate and caring mother (e. g. fixing the scarf on their kid's neck and fussing over them, buying lots of toys and sweets for them). But becomes more strict when the kids get older like being in Asian mom mode 🤣 (e. g. slipper is ready for when their son comes home later than usual). Though her strictness comes more from being overprotective of their children.
Levi is more strict when the kids are still young, being a cautious and watchful father (e. g. doesn't want their kids eating too much candy, makes kids eat veggies). But becomes more lenient when the kids get older and he'll be like, "Do what you think is right. As long as you don't regret it, and you assume its consequences."
Liam protects his little sister, Miria, and his close friend from bullies by fighting them off with his Ackerman strength. And he'll have a reputation of being the strongest kid in town feared by other children. He's more of the brawn type of kid although he is also pretty clever and can easily pick up on things.
Liam is the type of kid who will get in trouble at school for getting into fights. But the fights are mostly to save his friend or when he is being belittled. Then Levi and Mikasa gets called to the principal's or headmaster's office after the first school day 😂
Miria on the other hand is more quiet and low profile. But people shouldn't underestimate her as well since she is both brains and brawn.
Miria is the type who will report to Levi and Mikasa if her older brother, Liam, gets in trouble. And she'll come up to her brother and be like, "I told you so." or "Told you that was a stupid idea."
Mikasa will encourage Levi to attend Parent-Teacher meetings and events in school. Levi despises the idea but attends anyway. And he'll be all awkward like, "Do I have to do this?" (e. g. trying to dance along with the kids in the event). Needless to say, other mothers and guardians in school will be like, "That father looks so handsome! Do you think he still has a wife?" 🤣
Mikasa will enjoy attending school events. Though she may be awkward at first. But once she gets the hang of it, she will gladly join their kids in whatever tasks they need to do for the event. Other parents will be like, "Such a lovely young mother! Probably some guy just did her and left when she was already with child." 😭
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Some images I made from Pic Crew to visualize the children's appearances 🥰 Pic Crew boy || Pic Crew girl
@acker-worshipper Sorry this took so long. But here it is, and I hope you like it. Do tell me what you think 🙂
Lovely RM fic writers, you may feel free to use these ideas if you make a RM child in your stories (except for the kid's names because me and my babu came up with those 😂). And do tag me so I can read it and give it love as well ahah 💙
I've also already introduced my version of Ackerbabies/Ackerkids in my story Solace, and my Spy x Ackerman edit Enrolling her in school. So please do check those out 🙏
I may add some more to this list, but this is all I have for now 😅 and hopefully soon I'll also be able to draw my own version of them as well 💖

Samira’s Past Relationships
Polla Bruzin (Erkuss): Samira was in her adolescence when she had her very first girlfriend. She was the daughter of one of her father’s business partners, and they became involved pretty much because Polla pushed it to be so. Polla was very vain, narcissistic, and only wanted to be with Samira as a potential future trophy wife. And a Djayyar was the perfect trophy wife. Samira eventually wised up and saw through this plan of hers though, and dumped her. (HC’ing as Alyssa Milano)
Kili Ruskra (Erkuss): Samira attempted the dating thing again while in medical school. This started off as a friends with benefits type relationship, which evolved into a more serious one. But Samira was too focused on her studies to be a proper girlfriend and the relationship eventually failed. (HC’ing as Kerry Washington)
Lyra (Erkuss): Samira and Lyra were colleagues in the same hospital. Their goals were similarly aligned, and Lyra was the one person who understood Samira’s ambitions and dedication to her work. They hit it off initially, and Samira fell hard and fast. So much so that they would get married. The marriage was perfect at first, as their busy schedules complemented each other and there was never any fight about losing out on personal time with each other. But time was not kind to them, and made Lyra more unkind as time passed. Lyra became resentful of Samira’s slow-aging, because Lyra was becoming more and more unable to be the incredible surgeon she always dreamt to be the older she became. Eventually Lyra had enough and asked for a divorce. (HC’ing as Mia Kirshner)
Kore (Erkuss): Kore will forever be the love of Samira’s life. The way they met was a bit controversial, as Kore was a patient of Samira’s for a short time. Samira did not initiate anything, despite her sudden strong attraction to the kind, charming school teacher. She had also still been feeling pretty burnt from her ugly divorce decades prior and didn’t think it would go anywhere. But after Kore was discharged and sent Samira a thank-you e-card with her number, Samira decided to take a chance. Kore was patient and understanding, never making Samira choose between her and her career. Her only condition was to marry her and have kids. It took convincing, but Samira eventually agreed and they adopted two beautiful children. Even though it has been thirty years since Kore passed away, Samira has still been unable to move on from the loss. (HC’ing as Amy Acker)
Samira also had many lovers in between her marriages, but none are important to list here.

Top 5 buffy characters and top 5 angel characters?
Hi, thanks for asking!
Pretty sure that I’ve answered some version of this before but I’m not going to pretend I’m even remotely consistent about these things, so here we are.
Buffy Characters:
5. Rupert Giles
Giles is one of those characters that frustrates me a lot. He’s part of an inherently exploitative system and I’m not sure that, until the final episode, he ever truly extricates himself from that system. The best parts of Giles are his rebellion against the council and the worst parts of him are his ideological ties to them. But that’s what makes him so interesting. Because the man who defies what he’s been taught and loves this group of misfit children like a father is always at odds with the ruthless utilitarian he thinks he has to be. It’s a fascinating series long conflict, and though it’s not always handled as well as I would like, it does always make for a wonderfully flawed but thoroughly lovable character.
4. Willow Rosenberg
Willow is a character I struggle with because she’s the one that reminds me the most of myself. Some of these similarities are rather superficial: we’re both Jewish lesbians that pride ouselves on our academic merits. But on a deeper level, I find Willow’s insecurity and her desperate need to appear strong and important and worthy at all costs to be so painfully relatable that I have a hard time engaging with her at all. I don’t need to explain how incredible her storyline is over seven seasons, how much she grows and changes and evolves, because you know all that already. There’s no denying she’s an incredible character. And the fact that she resonates so deeply with me to the point that she makes me uncomfortable is maybe the best demonstration of what a good character she is.
3. Faith Lehane
Faith was initially introduced as the dark mirror to Buffy (which is why I believe her to be fundamentally tied to BtVS in a way that she isn’t to AtS). But her great accomplishment throughout Buffy and Angel was her evolution into her own character, separate from Buffy. And that’s also Faith’s character arc. At first, she is only able to compare herself with Buffy. She’s angry and jealous of Buffy because she believes that Buffy has everything that she never had and rightfully deserves. And, in many ways, she’s right to be angry. Yet her choice to direct her anger and resentment towards Buffy, as opposed to the real culprits (the council for one, along with all of the adults in her life) is what leads her to destroy herself. It’s only after she’s able to recognize her own self-worth outside of Buffy that she can truly do good and be good and be with Buffy. It’s a remarkable journey to behold and I love her so much.
2. Tara Maclay
I liked Tara well enough before season 6, but season 6 was when I fell completely in love with her. She becomes the show’s anchor that season as the only responsible adult who’s making good decisions, even when those decisions are extremely painful for her, like breaking up with Willow. And in a season dedicated to every other character fucking up, she’s truly a breath of fresh air. But more than just her function as a contrast to the other characters, season 6 really emphasized for me how beautifully and subtly she had developed throughout the show. Her ability to stand up to Willow is such a stark contrast to the Tara who was unable to stand up to her father (not that I’m blaming her for not being able to confront her abuser, I’m just pointing out how the contrast between these scenes demonstrates amazing growth on Tara’s part). Tara initially has no sense of self-worth, but as she develops, she comes to understand her own value and refuses to allow anyone to diminish it. It’s a beautiful, lovely story, and I will forever be bitter that she didn’t get the happy ending she so richly deserved.
1. Buffy Summers
Buffy Summers is my favorite fictional character of all time, as is evident by pretty much every single post on this blog.
Angel Characters:
5. Winfred Burkle
I have some issues with Fred. This is mainly because Joss Whedon’s obsession with this particular type of nerdy and adorable female characters makes me uncomfortable. But Amy Acker is a great actress and I can’t help but find her charming regardless. I think the episode that really sold me on Fred was Fredless. Like, the idea that she can’t face her parents because she doesn’t want to admit to them or to herself what she’s gone through is really heartbreaking. It’s the first time I was able to see Fred as more of a character than a caricature and I realized that I really liked that character. Also, fuck the writers for killing off their only remaining female character just so that Wesley could manpain about it.
4. Lilah Morgan
Lilah is by far the best villain on the show. She was, with very few exceptions, one of the only bad guys who was actually fun to watch. I particularly love that the writers never felt the need to redeem her in order to make her sympathetic. And she is sympathetic. You feel for her a whole lot, probably because Stephanie Romanov is such a pro. But she’s still a terrible, evil person through and through and I love that for her. Why the writers thought it would be a good idea to kill her off is truly beyond me.
3. Lorne
Another character who deserved better (sensing a theme here). Lorne is such an interesting, layered character with a wonderfully bizarre backstory and an interesting way of seeing the world. Yet, despite how wonderful he is, he was always pushed to the background to further another character’s story. And that’s not even mentioning whatever the writers thought they were doing with him in season 5. Also, why couldn’t he have been openly queer? Anyway, RIP Andy Hallet, who was an absurdly talented man who managed to create this incredible character in spite of all the writers’ bullshit.
2. Charles Gunn
Gunn was never just the muscle. The man ran a neighborhood watch/vampire hunting ring while he was still in his early 20′s (I assume? Do we actually know how old he is?). He’s a strategist and a leader in his community. He’s funny and charming and a good man and he deserved so much more love and care and development because he’s truly a fascinating character. But all the writers saw was a black guy who made quips and I am still so angry about it. Anyway, I love Gunn, he is, by far, the best man on the show and possibly in the entirety of the Buffyverse.
1. Cordelia Chase
Cordelia was pretty much the only reason I decided to watch Angel. She’s the best part of the whole show, her character growth is absolutely phenomenal, and I love how she grows as a person while still remaining wholly herself. I love her so much and I’ll forever be bitter about what the writers did to her and how terribly Whedon treated Charisma Carpenter.

Power Rangers Rail Warriors
Tumblr media
(Logo by @masterpikachu6)
Tumblr media
Long ago a beam of light shot from the cosmos and hit Earth, however the beam scattered when it hit the atmosphere like a prism creating a system of Tracks of Light. However where there is light there is darkness and like a crack a system of Shadowtracks formed. The beings of both tracks began to fight until a stalemate occurred. A stalemate that lasted until present day. Five teenage runaways were traveling the country by rail when they came across a group of monsters attacking a multicolored train. They stepped in and helped defend the train and the old man on it. However when a stronger monster appeared the man pulled the five on board and the train sped off. The man introduced himself as The Conductor, he informed the teens of the history of the two tracks and told them that by intervening they are now a part of the battle, he provided them each with a morpher to become the Power Rangers Rail Warriors!
Tumblr media
Rail Ranger #1- Levi Roth Age: 18 Personality/Bio: After graduating high school, Levi left home to find himself. During one of his train rides across the country, he met four other teens around his age, Ike, Gina, Heath, and Terri. After saving The Conductor, Levi was given the ability to transform into Rail Ranger #1, with the typical color designation of red. As Rail Ranger #1 he has the ability to charge his attacks with fire and his personal weapon is the Rail Slasher Face Claim: Jake T. Austin
Tumblr media
Rail Ranger #2- Isaac “Ike” Kinsley Age: 18 Personality/Bio: When Ike came out to his parents as bisexual, his parents kicked him out of the house. Out of fear, Ike won’t reveal the truth of his sexuality to his new friends in order to avoid meeting the same fate and being kicked out of the team. After saving The Conductor, Ike was given the ability to morph into Rail Ranger #2, typically blue. As Rail Ranger #2, he has the ability of super speed and his personal weapon is the Track Blaster. Face Claim: Asa Butterfield
Tumblr media
Rail Ranger #3- Gina Garrett Age: 18 Personality/Bio: Gina left her wealthy and comfortable life to get away from her overbearing parents. Even though she was raised in a wealthy family, she is definitely all tomboy, preferring shorts, t-shirts, and sneakers to dresses, skirts, and high heels. After meeting the others, she quickly becomes friends with Terri, seeing the other girl as something of a younger sister. The Conductor gave her the ability to morph into Rail Ranger #3, typically yellow. As Rail Ranger #3, her special ability the power to create a shield and her personal weapon is the Crossing Smasher. Face Claim: Zendaya
Tumblr media
Rail Ranger #4- Heath Greenberg Age: 18 Personality/Bio: Heath left his home, fleeing his abusive parents, and has never looked back since. He is very protective of his new friends, especially Terri, ever since her reveal that she grew up in the foster system. He usually fights alongside Terri in battle, watching over her, either out of comradeship or romantic interest. Because Heath isn’t one to really talk about his feelings, due to his upbringing, any feelings toward Terri, other than comradeship, are unconfirmed on his end. The Conductor gave him the ability to morph into Rail Ranger #4, typically green. His special ability is to create a sonic boom resembling the whistle of the train and his personal weapon is the Tunnel Ax. Face Claim: Ian Nelson
Tumblr media
Rail Ranger #5-Teresa “Terri” Acker Age: 18 Personality/Bio: Terri grew up in the foster system, being bounced around from foster home to foster home. Her father had left her mother before she was born and her young mother spent all her earnings on herself, rather than using it to support herself and her daughter. She was eventually adopted by the Acker family, but they, too, became overwhelmed and were unable to support her along with their other children, so she was returned to the foster system. Upon becoming an adult, she was able to leave, so Terri boarded a train in search of somewhere to settle down and call her own. She met Levi and the others. She made fast friends with Gina, and became something of a younger sister to the older girl, despite Gina being older by only a few months. As the youngest member of the team, she is watched over by Heath in battle, but whether it is out of comradeship or romantic interest, that remains a mystery on Heath’s part and Terri is rather oblivious to romance, considering her male teammates to be her best friends and Gina to be her sister. The Conductor gave her the ability to transform into Rail Ranger #5, typically pink. As Rail Ranger #5, her special ability is super strength and her personal weapon is the Bridge Claw. Face Claim: Bailee Madison Each Ranger has a unique ability derived from the power of the Train The steam and heat of the train- #1 The speed of the train- #2 The cowcatcher shield- #3 The loud whistle- #4 The strength- #5 By switching the trains from their morphers the Rangers can change the colors of their suits and swap weapons Red- Rail Sword Blue- Track Blaster Yellow- Crossing Smasher Green- Tunnel Ax Pink- Bridge Claw The five weapons can combine to form the Train Cannon that launches a train charged with light. Eventually a traveling con man stumbles upon a set of Rail Zords long thought lost.
Tumblr media
Rail Ranger #6-  Tracey Brigham Age: 30 Personality/Bio: Tracey spent most of his early life as a beggar, and travels the country conning wealthy people for their money. Because of his life as a beggar, Tracey holds a soft spot for the underdog making an effort to only con those who deserve it and can afford it. He stumbled upon a set of Rail Zords, and upon touching them, they created his morpher, enabling him to become Rail Ranger #6. Even with his morpher, he is at a loss as to what to do until he finds out about the battle between the Rail Warriors and the Shadowtrack. As the Orange Rail Ranger, he has the special ability to charge his attacks with light and his personal weapon is the Guidance Breaker. Face Claim: Garrett Hedlund #6 is the Orange Rail Ranger and has the ability to charge his attacks with the power of light. Unlike the others however Tracey cannot switch Trains. The Rail Warriors fight against the Shadowtrack Baron Shade- The baron is the main combat leader of the Shadowtrack, Count Lun- The strategist of the Shadowtrack Empress Noct- The real ruler behind the Shadowtrack, at least currently Miss Dow- The current heir to the Shadowtrack Bandarks- The foot soldiers of the Shadowtrack During the original battle the true ruler of the Shadowtrack the Darkness Emperor was imprisoned within a cage of light. By creating stations made up of darkness the Shadowtrack seek to destroy the Tracks of Light bit by bit and release the Darkness Emperor. These Dark Stations usually trap entire towns within them draining the people turning that power into darkness. The Rangers use the Drill Traux to break into these towns to destroy the stations from within. The Rail Rangers each have a Rail Zord each resembling a train in their primary ranger color, the five can combine to form the Rail Megazord R- Center of torso and head BG- Rest of torso and legs PY- Arms The Conductor reveals that there were more Rail Zords but they were scattered across the globe during a previous battle Traux (train + aux) Shield- Turns into a shield for the Megazord Carrier- Launches cars Tanker- Increases the speed and attack of the Megazord Diesel- Combines with the Carrier and Tanker to form the Diesel  Megazord Police- Arms the Megazord with a blaster and handcuffs Fire- Arms the Megazord with a blaster and an extinguisher/flamethrower The Diesel and the Rail Megazords can combine to form the Diesel Rail Megazord. #6- Construction Rail Zords Two construction based Rail Zords that combine to form the Construction Rail Megazord Tracey manages to con a Shadowtrack monster out of a Drill Traux which he uses to enhance his attacks and to combine with his Megazord. The three Megazords unite to form the Supreme Rail Megazord Eventually the Rangers arrive at the main station of the Tracks of Light where they are given the Shining Engine, a special Rail Zord that can become armor and enhance the team in battle. The Shining Engine can also combine with the main station to form the Station Megazord When all the Rail Zords unite they form the Shining Rail Ultrazord However as the battles get more and more intense the main station sends out a special package along the Tracks of Light, however during a battle this package is blasted off the tracks and falls to Earth. The package is found by a mother and daughter who open it to reveal a lantern along with a Rail Zord. This is the Lantern Morpher, when the Rail Zord is placed inside the lantern they emit light which can be used in combat.
Tumblr media
Rail Ranger #7- Ruby Banks- A middle aged divorced mother, she was on a road trip with her daughter when they found the Lantern Morpher. Seeing a group of approaching Bandarks she grabbed the morpher and morphed into the Indigo Rail Ranger. They eventually found their way to the other Rail Rangers. She is sometimes overprotective of her daughter but realizes she needs room to grow into a strong young woman. Her Rail Zord is the Subway and she has the ability charge objects with electricity. Her weapon is a spear she can place her Rail Zord inside of to charge it. Face Claim: Tracee Elliss Ross
Tumblr media
Kendra Banks- A teenage girl on a road trip with her mother when they found the Lantern Morpher. After her mom morphed into Rail Ranger #7 they decide to find the other Rangers to figure out what to do. She gets along rather nicely with the other Rangers but is frustrated that her life has been derailed further because of her mother’s duty as a ranger. She reluctantly helps maintain the train and begins to study how it runs uncovering the truth behind the war between the tracks. Face Claim: Amandala Stenberg The Indigo Rail Zord has two cars that combine with it to form the Subway Rail Megazord. The two cars the main Rail Zord pulls form the arms and legs. The Indigo Rail Zord forms extra armor and weapons for the Shining Rail Ultrazord Along the way the Rangers discover there is more behind the war between the Tracks of Light and the Shadowtracks, and that light isn’t always good and shadow isn’t always evil. And they learn that in order to end the battle once and for all they must find a way to unite Light and Shadow.
Morphers- 1-5 Station Morphers (wrist worn devices) 6 Track Phone (phone) 7 Lantern Morpher (hand held lantern that can shrink to palm size) Morphing Call- Rail Warrior! Now Boarding! Morphing- 1-6 Hand sized Rail Zords circle the rangers forming colorless versions of the suits then larger versions of the Rail Zords pass through the ranger from behind adding the color. 7 They place their Rail Zord inside the lantern and press a button causing the zord to spin quickly. As it spins it creates light that covers them forming the suits. Power Rangers Fossil Rail: The Shadowtracks discover the remains of a group of DeVoid monsters and infuse them with Shadow energy and revive them, this causes the Fossil Rangers to return to help the Rail Warriors fight them. All is calm, when it snows
Tumblr media
12 Days of Sanditon Prompt: Snow Characters: Charlotte Heywood Short: The cold wet snow set on a simultaneously freezing and burning sensation throughout her face. She could stay here forever, unperturbed. She was experiencing a winter right now.Perhaps, after a strong and harsh winter, and a period of hibernation, the circumstances could change, so that everything which had died or hidden during winter, could grow back stronger, bigger and better than before. Like nature, she would use this season to recover, and in the new year, she would grow and become Charlotte again.
Nothing quite paralleled the quiet of the countryside when it snowed.
It was somewhere around dawn on the 14th of December and not a single bird was singing.
There wasn’t even a trace of wind.
Between the glowing hills coated in white, tinted a pearlescent pink in the early light of morning, stood a house.
It was by no means a small house, but it was most definitely snug when one took into account the number of people living inside of it.
Fifteen people, amongst them thirteen children beneath the age of 21, lay abed. There was not a sound to be heard in the yellow rooms downstairs, except for the gentle spinning of the cat and the heavy breathing of the dog.
Just seconds earlier though, there had been a presence in the house making the floorboards creak. It had been the 22 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Heywood. But, like a thief, she had sneaked out of the house.
Crunch.
A first breaking of the divine silence happened when Charlotte put her booted foot down in the snow.
The sky was pink and purple, still struggling to free itself of the dark of the night.
She’d been a poor sleeper for the last couple of months. Her thoughts were filled with worries and memories, and her heart was heavy with an awful cocktail of emotions. She fell asleep late, and nightmares interrupted her sleep with regular intervals.
And once she woke up in the morning, after a night filled with terrors, it took her brain all of two minutes to remember everything which had happened in Sanditon. Then, her Esprit decided on whether she’d be angry with the people of Sanditon, or sad for herself that day. Most days the sadness won out, but there were those days when she was angry with Mr. Parker for daring to let her hope, angry for kissing her and mad for treating her like she was a child so many times.
But by the end of those days, the anger burned out, and there was nothing left but her bleeding heart. To her heart it didn’t matter what had been said and done, it belonged to Sidney Parker, and that was that.
Months of being at home, surrounded by her precious siblings, with days filled with chores and nothing to remind her of Sanditon, had helped her to find her footing again. But she wasn’t healed yet.
She’d never left home before, and Sanditon had been a whirlwind adventure. She’d become so invested in the town, its troubled persona’s and intrigues, that it felt almost strange to settle back into the slower pace of life in Willingden. Here there was one piece of news a week. When someone was having a problem, it was discussed immediately. Here, a new day didn’t mean a new set of problems to solve.
Though time had taken the edge off of the emotions, she still hadn’t processed many of the things that had happened. Every time she was certain about her interpretation of an event, she woke up with a new insight to reinterpret said event.
She’d woken up tonight like she had so many other nights. But this night, as she prepared to start another thirty minutes of tossing and turning before sleep took her again, her eye fell on the special colour of the night sky.
A colour she knew, though she wouldn’t have been able to name it until she saw it.
Yet it was enough to get her out of bed and lure her towards the window. It was the colour of a snowy sky.
Gone was the plaid of ackers in various shades of brown, gone were the leafless trees and evergreens. All was white and bright in the morning light.
So, careful to not step on any creaking planks, she put on all of her warmest clothes. Two pairs of woollen stockings, two warm shifts, and on top of that one of her warmest dresses and her winter coat. On went her high boots, wrapped around her neck was a sloppily knitted scarf gifted to her by one of her sisters a year ago. She put her hat on her head and put her hands in her gloves, and off she was.
Inside of her a storm was raging, but outside there was an ultimate peace. The snow sparkled untouched. Soon enough the children would get up and start making snowmen and throwing snowballs, but right now the lush new carpet of nature was hers alone.
Crunch.
A smile fought against her currently habitual sombre straight lips and won the battle. With a smile, she took another step.
And then she ran.
Crunch, crunch, crunch, crunch.
Away from her nightmares.
Away from the downward spiral of her thoughts.
Forward she went.
No matter what had happened months ago, today was beautiful.
And tomorrow could be equally beautiful.
And today would be normal.
And tomorrow could be equally normal.
The only thing which made her sad, were her thoughts.
Yet, there was no use in being sad.
Sanditon was saved by the money of Lady Denham and Mrs. Campion.
Sidney’s family was saved because of his marriage to the woman.
Sanditon’s popularity had grown thanks to her help, Mr. Tom Parker had said so himself.
She’d gained two new and unexpected friends in Georgiana and Lady Susan, and both still wrote to her.
And she herself was now reunited with her beloved family.
The only thing that hadn’t ended as happily as it should’ve, was her relationship with Mr. Parker. But in the end, neither of them had a say in it. After weeks of telling him he should be more involved with his family, he’d finally changed his ways… and had even ended up making the ultimate sacrifice.
Crack, crack, crack.
Away from Sidney Parker.
She could always love and cherish the memories, but she couldn’t be sad anymore. Nothing had gone wrong.
Crack, crack.
The freezing chill felt like a hundred needles on her exposed skin. She could feel her lips drying and her cheeks growing red.
Crack, she fell, her foot sinking away in a hole which had been covered by snow.
She shielded her face as she was propelled towards the ground.
Thud.
She closed her eyes, her face crossing the final inches between air and ground.
The cold wet snow set on a simultaneously freezing and burning sensation throughout her face.
She licked her lips.
Delicious cold.
She slowly felt the hot air around her body slipping from between the layers of clothes, her body slowly becoming aware of the sharp cold.
The world was perfectly silent again.
She could stay here forever, unperturbed.
She was experiencing a winter right now.
Soon enough, her old affections would die in these harsh circumstances, and in Spring, her life would start over again: fresh and new. Who knew what adventure awaited her in the new year?
Hope.
Hope was what kept people going.
She was only twenty-two, she shouldn’t break down forever because of a single sad turn of events.
She opened her eyes. Right next to her face, was a single blade of green grass, uncovered by her fall.
Perhaps, after a strong and harsh winter, and a period of hibernation, the circumstances could change, so that everything which had died or hidden during winter, could come back bigger, better and stronger than before.
She allowed herself a minute to make a snow angel, spreading her arms and legs and pushing the snow aside with vigour. If she closed her eyes, she could imagine that her angel form could take off and float, leaving her worries and sad feelings behind.
She couldn’t help but laugh as she twisted her head around as well. She could feel her lips stretching and cracking, but it didn’t matter. There was no one to kiss anyways. And besides…
She could recover. Like nature, she would use this season to recover, and in the new year, she would grow and become Charlotte again.

Supernatural rewatch 01x03
Dead in the Water
(Next Episode | Masterlist | Previous Episode )
(not spoiler free, I have watched up to 15x13 and this is directed to an audience that has seen that far as well)
Typical first five minute death! We’re right on track
Aaaaaannndd…. Introducing cock-blocking Sam. Lol, sorry Dean.
Nice to see the pattern of: Brother A: I found a case Brother B: but what about [insert season plot line here] Brother A: we don’t have any leads, we might as well do something! Brother B: We can’t just forget about [insert main concern] Brother A: I know, but what else are we supposed to do? Has in fact been a part of Supernatural since the beginning.
Ok, confirmed, Sam was only at college for 2 years. I guess maybe he took Summer courses and stuff to finish his degree in 2 years like the heckin’ nerd he is or something.
OH MY GOSH THIS IS THE EPISODE WHERE THEY USE AGENTS FORD AND HAMILL WILDLIFE SERVICES. THEY WERE BABIES. That was a real throwback in season 15
OH MY GOSH IT’S AMY ACKER. She’s in at least one episode of basically every tv show I’ve ever watched. Love her.
Dean: “Watching one of your parents die isn’t something you just get over” Awwww Dean :(
And now we get to see Dean bonding with a kid, even though apparently, he can’t even name 3 children he knows. (which, to be fair, is pretty normal as a 26 year old with no kids, who doesn’t have friends who have kids. It would be kinda weird if he knew any kids) But anyway, I think throughout the series we see that Dean really is good with kids (especially fatherless kids) even when he doesn’t think he will be. With Ben, with Claire, and later with Jack.
“kids are strong, you’d be surprised what they can deal with” Oh Dean :( Just because you had to grow up fast and never got to have a childhood …
“When I was your age I saw something real bad happen to my mom, and I was scared too. I didn’t feel like talking, just like you. But see, my mom – I know she wanted me to be brave. I think about that every day. And I do my best to be brave.” DEAN! Such a type 8.
What the heck Sam, you can’t just leave before you’ve solved the mystery!!! You really are acting out of character, too focused on finding your dad and avenging Jessica to remember to care about people the way you normally do.
“I just don’t wanna leave this town until I know the kid’s ok” DEAN he really should’ve been a dad much sooner (I know he had Ben for a minute). <3 I love Dean with kids. It’s interesting because from Sam’s reactions and comments in this episode we can gather that Dean has never really interacted with children, or shown any interest in them, but he comes to care about Lucas really quickly, even though Lucas doesn’t talk to him. It’s probably because he sees himself in him so clearly.
It’s odd, cause I remember Sam being the one to save the kid from drowning, but obviously it was Dean. Maybe Sam saves a different kid in a different episode? (One with a pool? Idk it’s been years) but yeah, it makes sense that Dean saved Lucas, given how he was clearly Dean’s parallel in this episode.
I think it’s interesting, because at the beginning of the episode we see Dean trying to flirt with the waitress, complaining that Sam won’t let him have any “fun.” Then later, when he meets Andrea, he is obviously trying to flirt. But as soon as he learns about Lucas and what happened to his dad, his entire focus changes. Sam notes this when Dean goes to talk to Lucas on the playground and he tells Andrea “I don’t think that’s what this is about” (that being: Dean trying to impress her so he can get with her). Dean’s whole focus becomes helping and protecting Lucas. Even when Andrea is drowning in her bathtub, Sam’s the one who saves her while Dean holds Lucas back. Sam is the one who sits by Andrea and asks her, in his patented compassionate voice, to explain what happened. Although Dean is clearly pleased at the end when she gives him a kiss, he stopped actively pursuing a connection with her very early in the episode. We will see this again in some ways with Lisa and Ben, although Dean is certainly attracted to women, he usually prioritizes son/brother characters over any heteroromantic plot line he could have.  (hence my theory that he is a/demiromantic).

The actress talks with The Hollywood Reporter about Amelia's journey and how her long-awaited family reunion will impact the character going forward.
[This story contains spoilers from Thursday's Grey's Anatomy, "Good Shepherd."]
ABC's Grey's Anatomy opened up Amelia Shepherd's world in Thursday's bottle episode, which featured the long-awaited introduction of the fourth Shepherd sister — played by guest star Amy Acker.
The sibling reunion occurred after Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) and Link (Chris Carmack) flew to New York for a surgery and bumped into Nancy Shepherd (returning guest star Embeth Davidtz), who invited the duo over for dinner. The only catch being that Amelia never informed her family of her divorce from Owen (Kevin McKidd) — or her brain tumor, foster kid Betty or Owen's adopted son Leo, among other details.
The meal turns ugly when Amelia's mother Carolyn (returning guest star Tyne Daly) crashes the dinner and instantly remembers having met the real Owen (Kevin McKidd) when she visited son Derek (former star Patrick Dempsey) years ago in Seattle. The estranged siblings have at Amelia, recalling all the ways in which she screwed up her life and the (many) mistakes she made.
After Link — her current love interest — comes to her defense, Amelia reveals her frustrations that her sisters (and mother) only see her as the screw-up and "Black Sheep Shepherd," her childhood nickname. This is why none of her siblings or mother wanted to come to her wedding to Owen.
In typical Grey's fashion, Amelia and Link's patient — and his brother — provide a lesson for Amelia, who makes a bold surgical choice that ultimately gives a college-bound student a new lease on life. But it comes at a cost as Link pulls away from Amelia, whom he accuses of being reckless and making a risky decision because she needed to prove her family wrong.
The hour closes as Amelia and her mother have a heart to heart in which Amelia realizes that she sabotages her own relationships and doesn't know how to love. What's more, her mother fills in some gaps from Amelia's Private Practice backstory when she reveals that the youngest of the Shepherd siblings is the most like her father — whom loyal Grey's viewers recall was murdered before Derek and Amelia. Carolyn's biggest regret, she says, is not being there for Amelia.
Amelia comes away from the conversation with an understanding that she doesn't need her family's approval — she already has it in sisters-from-other-misters Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Maggie (Kelly McCreary) — and that it's up to her to realize she's worthy of love.
Below, star Scorsone talks with The Hollywood Reporter about the Amelia stand-alone episode and romantic future with Link (who apparently can be easily won over with a box of doughnuts from his favorite favorite spot in New York).
Amelia is having quite an emotional journey this season: reconciling with Owen, fostering Betty and Leo and learning of Teddy's pregnancy. Then losing her kids and splitting with Owen. What's been your biggest takeaway about Amelia this season? We've seen Amelia be unbelievably resilient. She must be made of some sort of rubber because she seems to bounce! [Laughs.] One of the really nice things I've been able to play this season is some of the lightness, fun and humor that we got to see on [Grey's spinoff] Private Practice a lot more. She's got this wry life is crazy and is finding the joy amid all of the chaos. That's been really fun to do.
Amelia's mother helps her understand that she sabotages relationships and doesn't think she's worthy of love. What made her come to that realization? There were a few hits a couple episodes ago when Owen and Amelia were at the lawyer's office talking about who would halve custody of Leo. Owen said something like, "You're just not capable of love." It was a knife to Amelia's heart and she was so devastated by it — especially after being so patient, amazing, loving and supportive of Owen and Leo all season long, and trying to be so patient with the Teddy situation. That was quite a quagmire! [Laughs.] That was really hard for her to hear. Then having her sisters confront her over and over again and seeing how she wasn't really connecting with Link even though he was being so charming, accommodating and lovely. Amelia was trying to keep him at bay emotionally. She's had enough clues that maybe there's something in her psyche that she's not been willing to look at.
Amelia's mother, despite all the twisting roads that Amelia has gone down, was courageous and generous to really face and admit to her part in the broken attachment Amelia had as a child. She endured a terrible trauma at age 5 when saw her father murdered in front of her. Then her mom says, "Listen, I'm sorry I wasn't able to be the kind of psychological container that you needed at that age to move through that trauma in a way that would leave your ability to connect intact." She really takes responsibility for her part in Amelia's early relationship with attachment and love. And then also says, "And I believe that you're smart, strong and brave enough that now that you have this last piece of the puzzle that I've given you, that you can put it all together and move forward and have beautiful relationships. That's on you." She hands baton back to Amelia, now with the final piece in place, and says, "I'm giving it back to you; you now understand your childhood. You can do the work and can have love."
This episode really filled in some gaps with Amelia's family and why she's not close with them. How will the dinner from hell and conversation with her mother help fuel what we see next from Amelia? I do feel like there was an incredible healing and closure at two points in this episode. First, in that moment where she was able to tell her sisters that, as opposed to try and earn her sisters' approval, finally, after seeing how relentless they were to her at the dinner table and that they just weren't willing or able to see that Amelia had become a pretty wonderful person in adulthood — she's a neurosurgeon, she gives back to her community, she has relationships, she loves children. She does all these wonderful things and her sisters weren't willing to allow their narrative about her to change. Amelia accepts that finally and stops trying. At the door when she's leaving, she says, "I believe you that you love me but you don't like me and I don't really like you, either." She allows that to be OK for herself. She can love her family but if every time she's near them, they tell a story about her in their own minds that that traps her in an identity that doesn't match up with who she is today, she does have permission to not expose herself to that kind of judgment. She can go create family where she finds love: in Seattle with Meredith, Maggie and the people she has surrounded herself with — her chosen family. That was a huge moment for her. And the healing that was given to her by her mother at the end and the apology and the piece of the story that she was missing. And the reconciliation with her mother. I think it's going to free Amelia's psychological bandwidth up a lot. We'll see how that goes. She is letting go of the old story of Amelia as the black sheep and she was able to leave it in New York. Now we'll see next season what the new story is.
Amelia and Link reconcile on the plane. Amelia now has this liberation and missing piece of the puzzle. What will she do with that awareness now? Will Link or Owen be a part of that? That I don't know. The writers are starting to break story for next year right now. All the irons are in the fire trying to think about where it goes next year. All I know is that they don't know anything yet! I'm trying to stay open. Chris Carmack is very talented and we've had some great comedic scenes that have been really fun to play. And Kevin and I are best friends and love working together. So whatever direction they decide to go in, I'm in a pretty great position as an actor.
If you're writing Amelia's next act and had the choice between Link or Owen, who do you see her with? I can't possibly answer that! There are such good things about both of them. The nice thing is that Grey's is doing so well that I feel like we are going to get to play out whatever we want to play out. And if we love it we go with it. And if it's not working, we can go in another direction. We have time to play all those stories we want to play because our fans are so gorgeous and passionate. Knock on wood, hopefully we get to see all of the stories that we want.
How would you describe the season finale? It's a Grey's Anatomy season finale! Debbie Allen is directing. There's some fun, big stuff happening. It'll be funny and it'll be delightful and there will be catharsis. Classic Grey's.
For a season that was dubbed — and delivered — the "Season of Love," is the finale a fitting end for that? Yeah, I think so. Love in all its forms.

Power Rangers Rail Warriors

Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Plot: A ragdoll (Elijah Woods) awakens in a workshop with no idea who he is or where he is, beyond the number 9 written on his back. He sets out into a post-apocalyptic world to find only some other dolls, at war with some machines from a derelict factory.
Tumblr media
Review: Expanded from an Oscar-nominated short of the same name, 9 is a story about nine ragdolls who live in a destroyed, dead world, hoping to avoid the machines which stalk the landscape.
The film doesn’t go into much detail from the outset, but answers come later. A scientist created a machine to benefit mankind, but a totalitarian dictator took it and used it for murder, and it eventually killed all mankind; illustrated in the bleakest way possible, with a dead baby. Because that’s the image you need to be left with from something that looks and feels like a childrens film; a dead baby. The film is so bleak overall that it isn’t exactly fun viewing; everything is dead apart from nine dolls and a few machines.
That being said, the film is quite strong in other moments. The different characters of the nine dolls are all realised quite well, with the kind of development and explanation many more sophisticated films lack. Aside from the bleakness of the film as a whole, some of the points it makes are more subtle, something which has been forgotten in filmmaking in the intervening decade. It doesn’t exactly have the deepest message but it conveys it in a strong manner.
So there are good points and bad points, but the overall depressing feeling is one that’s hard to shake. It’s a surprise Shane Acker doesn’t have more feature-length directorial credits on the back of a promising showing.

Writing a post about how much I need James Marsters and Dominic Sherwood to star in the same franchise reminded me that wait, I did a pitch for that before.
Which in return reminded me that wait, I sat through a long and boring day at college last semester and actually did a more detailed pitch. And since I have absolutely nothing to do right now, hear me out.
It’s a TV show based around a pack of werewolves. More precisely, focusing on one particular werewolf who can turn at will while the others are bound by the moon. Also, there’s gays in it and basically most of my favorite actors. Really, it was mainly born from me making a list of TV actors I enjoy and would like to see in the same piece together and then I spun a plot around it. It turned into a bit of a mix between Shadowhunters and Teen Wolf, really. With maybe a slight dash of Vampire Diaries in there.
So let’s start with the cast, yes?
Tumblr media
Dominic Sherwood as Heliodoro ‘Haley’ O’Rinn, an orphaned werewolf and the protagonist of our story.
Tumblr media
Dylan O’Brien as Maximillian ‘Max’ Blythe, Haley’s best friend, a nerd with a lot of chaotic energy, who also turns out to be a sorcerer without knowing it.
Tumblr media
Yaya DaCosta as Jessamine ‘Jess’ Kemp, Haley’s other best friend and the voice of reason in their chaotic trio. Also love interest to Max Blythe/Dylan O’Brien. She’s the human who runs with wolves and where they sometimes let their instincts win out over common sense, she is the one with a plan.
Tumblr media
Alexandra Daddario as Menodora ‘Meena’ O’Rinn, Haley’s twin-sister, stricter than Haley and taking everything, including training, more seriously than him. The twins aren’t very close, but Meena is fiercely protective of her brother, even when she doesn’t like to show it.
Tumblr media
Alyssa Milano as Dorothea O’Rinn, Haley and Meena’s mother who dies in the first episode but we will have regular flashbacks to the childhood of the twins and the things Meena, in particular, learned from her mother. Because she was the Alpha of the pack - and Meena was supposed to follow in her pawprints, so to speak.
Tumblr media
James Marsters as Lucius O’Rinn, Haley and Meena’s father and the husband of Dorothea O’Rinn/Alyssa Milano. He was the aloof and fun parent who used to play a lot with little Haley while Meena learned all the important Alpha lessons from their mother.
Tumblr media
John Laroquette as Conall O’Rinn, the grandfather of Haley and Meena, who raises them after their parents die when they are still small children. He lives in a secluded cabin in the woods, knowing he has to protect his grandchildren after their entire pack, including their parents, was killed.
Tumblr media
Amy Acker as Riley Blakesley, the Alpha of the new pack moving into the territory over the following ten years since the O’Rinns and their pack were murdered. She is a one hundred percent badass and becomes a new mentor-figure to Meena O’Rinn/Alexandra Daddario after the twins meet her.
Tumblr media
Jamie Chung as Sara Lin, the loyal Beta and second-in-command of Riley Blakesley/Amy Acker. Like her Alpha, she is a strong and fierce fighter. And she particularly has no time for Max Blythe/Dylan O’Brien’s nonsense.
Tumblr media
Santiago Cabrera as Antonio ‘Tony’ Del Bosque, Haley’s love-interest and a member of Riley Blakesley/Amy Acker’s pack. He is reckless and gets into a lot of trouble, which is why he gets dragged into this mess.
Tumblr media
Shemar Moore as Mark Chase, Tony Del Bosque/Santiago Cabrera’s best friend and Sara Lin/Jamie Chung’s love interest. Which always puts him into an awkward position, because he knows what his best friend is up to - and he should tell his girlfriend, for one because honesty is key to a healthy relationship and also because she is the pack’s second-in-command so honesty is key to staying healthy.
Tumblr media
Jane Lynch as Cassandra Leclair, a powerful sorceress who will help our friends on their quest. She is the one who will enlighten Max Blythe/Dylan O’Brien about his heritage and she also finds out why the O’Rinn pack has been killed.
Tumblr media
John Barrowman as Maximus Bloodworth, the main villain of our show, former best friend of Lucius O’Rinn/James Marsters, former apprentice to Cassandra Leclair/Jane Lynch and also the biological father of Max Blythe/Dylan O’Brien.
And with that, we have actually finished the cast list and gotten quite far on the story. But let’s focus on only the story now.
Dorothea O’Rinn/Alyssa Milano and Lucius O’Rinn/James Marsters are killed in our opening scene, along with their entire pack, leaving Haley O’Rinn/Dominic Sherwood and his twin-sister Meena O’Rinn/Alexandra Daddario as orphans.
All we see is a fire and a shadowy figure walking away from it.
The next scene, ten years later, the twins are living with their grandfather Conall O’Rinn/John Laroquette in a secluded cabin in the woods, keeping away from society as much as possible.
Only that Haley’s best friends from high school are two people that really can not be shaken off - Jess Kemp/Yaya DaCosta and Max Blythe/Dylan O’Brien.
Max and Haley have always gotten into a lot of trouble, even as little children. Jess was always the voice of reason behind them who essentially kept the two idiots alive. But when she starts to suspect there might be a cult in their small little hometown of Sunhaven, even Jess’ curiosity is piqued, so the trio goes and investigates.
It started five years ago, that new people moved there and were behaving weird. Living together in one big house, people who definitely were not family. But lately, there seemed to be more and more.
Jess’ suspicion is that Riley Blakesley/Amy Acker is some kind of cult-leader.
Only that she’s not. She’s an Alpha werewolf who was chased away from her own territory by hunters and considering the O’Rinn pack had been dead for ten years alrady, she figured she could claim the land.
First there is distrust and suspicion - Riley thinks the trio might be hunters, while they actually believe that Riley and her pack are a cult.
Conall O’Rinn has a lot of explaining to do. We’ll do that about mid-season.
Haley doesn’t know he’s a werewolf. He was only ten when their parents died and since he was not next in line, there was no reason to concern him with it. Well, in the back of his mind, he vaguely remembers wolves but he figured that was just his overly active imagination, you know? His twin-sister Meena however had been groomed to become the next Alpha from a young age and she always knew that they were both wolves.
That revelation causes a rift between the twins and it also makes Haley really freak out. Because, what? He’s a werewolf now? He always was a werewolf?
He runs away in a panic.
Not knowing what to do, Jess and Max go to seek help from the werewolf pack because who knows where Haley went and if something happened to him.
The Alpha however is still talking to grandpa O’Rinn and will not be disturbed - her loyal and fierce second-in-command Sara Lin/Jamie Chung makes sure of that. To appease her, her mate Mark Chase/Shemar Moore decides to get the meddling human kids out of the way.
Listening to their story though, he and his best friend Tony Del Bosque/Santiago Cabrera decide to thelp them find the runaway young wolf.
It’s Tony who finds Haley, trapped in a cave where he slipped and panicked. Only... the boy isn’t human when he finds him. Instead, he’s a beautiful white wolf. In the middle of a bright and sunny day. Something that should be absolutely impossible.
Now that needs to be reported to the Alpha. Because usually, young werewolves undergo their first change at age 25 - and it’s coming up for them. But it should only happen on a full moon. Wolves can’t just change at will.
Understandably freaked out, they look toward Riley for answers. The Alpha has to know what any of this means, right? Well, no, not really.
She instead sends them onto a quest to New York to visit a great sorceress - she might understand what strange magic is going on here.
While the pack-situation may not be sorted out, Riley does feel responsible for them so she sends Tony, Mark and Sara (the latter under great protests because she feels like babysitting is beneath her and that she ought to protect the Alpha and the pack) along with them. The journey is long and dangerous, after all. Sorcerers can’t be trusted and who knew what might lay along the way?
They travel cross country and encounter different supernatural creatures along the way, seeing the world with different eyes now. Jess grows incredibly fascinated by it all and starts documenting it, while Tony and Haley slowly fall in love with each other during the journey. Though neither is yet ready to admit anything.
Season 1 ends on a cliffhanger of Cassandra Leclair/Jane Lynch opening her door and greeting them - “I have been waiting to meet you, Sun Wolf.”.
Throughout the first season, we’d have a lot of flashbacks to the twins’ childhood. To their dad playing with Haley whenever their mom was teaching Meena about wolves. Most of the flashbacks would be Haley re-evaluating his memories, seeing the things in them that he, as an innocent child, had overlooked. And in those flashbacks, John Barrowman would repeatedly appear as their father’s best friend, though remaining unnamed for now and unassuming.
By the way, The Sun Wolf would also be the title of the show.
We open up season 2 where we left off in season 1 and Cassandra essentially tells Haley that there is nothing she can do for him. She only knows of a prophecy about a wolf who would walk the sun and that’s it.
The second season mainly takes place in New York, where Cassandra did however notice the magic pulsing through Max and starts teaching him about his powers. He never met his father, was raised by a single mother who never spoke a word of who Max’ father even was.
Haley all the while is majorly sulking because he feels like a freak, where Tony becomes a reassuring, gentle voice to him.
Jess gets her own plotline where she starts feeling left out. Between Haley the day-walking werewolf and Max the sorcerer, she was just... human. Her interest in magical creatures sparked in season one leads her to discover vampires though.
And while she doesn’t get turned, she gets into a lot of trouble with them. Weak from bloodloss and delirious with vampire-venom, she is used as bait to lure the others out. The vampires are out to kill them, but thankfully they brought Sara, Mark and Tony - aka three well-trained wolves - with them. Though Sara does most of the ass-kicking.
Afterward, we see the vampires reporting back to a shadowy figure where we can’t make out the face.
Sara decides to take Jess under her wing after this. She teaches the girl how to fight and how to defend herself and they share some bonding. Sara confides that she doesn’t always like being a werewolf, that all she ever wanted was a peaceful life. That turning every full moon is painful and a curse.
Jess learns to appreciate her humanity and embraces her role in their team. She gathers all the information she can - now no longer just a random journal about the supernatural they encountered, but clear evidence and everything they can find out about the Sun Wolf.
After Max’ training ends, Cassandra sends them on their way back home. They’re still bummed out that they didn’t really find any leads and she suggests they should talk to Max’ father about it - since he was a local sorcerer back when the O’Rinn pack was still in town, apparently (otherwise the siring of a son would have been hard, after all).
They get a name from her, because she recognized the signature of Max’ magic as that of a former student of hers. Maximus Bloodworth.
On their way back to Sunhaven, they are attacked by hunters.
In the final scene of season 2, we see the hunters report back to the same shadowy figure as the vampires earlier this season. The doorbell rings, interrupting the meeting. The figure walks toward the door and opens it to have our protagonists standing in front of him. “Are you Maximus Bloodworth? I think I’m your son”, says Max as the camera pans over his shoulder to reveal John Barrowman as not just Max’ father but also the one who had tried to kill them all along.
In season 3, we are finally returned to Sunhaven and have Maximus Bloodworth/John Barrowman relay the story of how the O’Rinn pack died from his perspective. Which, obviously, is a lie. He also tells them how he had fled, trying to save his own life, not knowing that Max’ mom was pregnant at the time. Which is... actually not a lie. Max is a factor he had not anticipated, so he changes his plans. He tries to sway them, to be the voice in Max’ ear, to appeal to the boys’ longing for a father-figure.
So season 3 sees a heavy focus on Max’ loyalty being torn between his friends and his father, with Maximus teaching him not just magic but dark magic that in its essence corrupts a sorcerer’s soul.
We are also shown that while they were off questing, Meena joined the pack and has taken to learning from Riley. That puts Meena and Sara at odds, because Sara sees her position as second-in-command threatened.
This season, Tony and Haley are actually finally going to get together. Because Max is so busy reuniting with his father, while Jess has completely buried herself in her research and in absorbing all the knowledge she can. In that time, Haley draws a lot of strength from Tony and here, back in the woods, he can actually train his shifting.
Now, Jess’ digging and researching brings her dangerously close to the truth, ending in an epic reveal. Because reading up on magic and wolves and sorcerers, she finds out that the first werewolf had been cursed by a sorcerer to walk the night under the full moon, using powerful light magic. So she finds out, or rather deducts, that it was powerful dark magic that enabled Haley to walk in the sunlight. The only powerful sorcerer anywhere nearby however was Maximus Bloodworth.
Max does not like to hear that. His dad was everything he had always pictured and more. And the dark magic he had unbeknowns been using had been corrupting him too.
The season ends with an epic show-down and fight between Max and Haley during which Jess gets hurt. In the end, Max flees with his father and we are left not knowing Jess’ fate.
Season 4 opens up in the hospital, where Jess is bitching to Sara about how much she hates it here.
The pack had done their best trying to find Max and his father and now they are trying to find out why Maximus would have done this in the first place.
Max all the while starts growing suspicious on his own. Now that they are no longer in a cozy lake house, having fun father-son bonding, he sees his father’s scheming and his underlings.
One day, he confronts his father and asks for the truth, demands to be trusted.
Maximus reveals that werewolves are bound to the moon. Instead, Maximus wanted to bind them to him. An army of obedient wolves, who can shift and attack and fight whatever day or night it is. He had used Meena and Haley as experiments when they were born, he had been trusted by their parents, had babysat them and spend a lot of time around them. And while the magic did not take with Meena, it took with Haley.
But when their mother found out about it and alerted the pack, it became too risky and Maximus intended to kill them all and only take Haley with him. Only that the twins had been with their grandfather at the time and the attack resulted in a large fire. Not knowing the twins had been gone to begin with and being unable to find them in the ashes now, Maximus assumed they had perished alongside their pack.
Only when Haley ran away and shifted at day, not far off from Maximus’ lake house, did he realize that his experiments had survived and been successful.
Panicked and disgusted does Max run away.
The pack however is not too welcoming toward the traitor. Sara in particular chases him off, because she had grown very protective over Jess since the vampire-incident in New York.
Not knowing what to do, Max finds himself returning to Cassandra Leclair in New York. The sorceress takes him in and she shares stories of his father’s youth. He had always had great potential, but also too much pride. He thought sorcerers were above all else. They were the ones who had created the curses of werewolves and vampires, they should be the ones to wipe them up. For that, he intended to pitch them against each other - since they had been rivals for as long as they existed.
While Max overcomes his addiction to dark magic at Cassandra’s and Jess goes through physical therapy at Sunhaven, Meena and Haley slowly reconnect again, because Meena knows how much it hurt Haley to lose his best friend like that. In the end, it is Meena who encourages Haley to go and search for Max - especially after Sara reveals that Max had dropped by weeks ago.
The twins go on this quest together and bond, sharing about their respective experiences. How Haley had always felt excluded by their mother favoring Meena. How Meena had always envied that Haley got to just grow up and be a child. Their parents were what had caused the rift between them.
In the end, Meena makes it to Cassandra’s. Bloodied and battered. And alone. Because Maximus knew that on the long run, Haley would come and seek out his best friend - and of course did Maximus know where his son went. He kidnapped the boy. And that’s how we end season 4.
Now, in the fifth and final season, the pack has to band together to track down Maximus and free Haley.
Jess and Max rekindle their friendship during this quest. They also find a new sense of appreciation for Tony, who is going completely crazy with worry for his boyfriend - and anger toward Meena for taking Haley on this quest without any form of backup.
Riley and Sara get to kick major ass. A lot of asses will be kicked this season, because Maximus also had his vampire experiments - and he had continued those over the past ten years. He has an army of vampires who can walk in the sunlight (which is why we had the vampires attack our team in season 2).
This season is very action packed and dramatic overall, so there’s not much to tell. In the end, they win, obviously. Riley, and other members of her pack, die during the fight. And we conclude the series with Meena becoming the rightful Alpha of the Sunhaven pack.
We see, battered and bruised but very much alive, Sara and Mark swearing their loyalty to their new Alpha who had proven herself during the final battle against the vampires.
We see Tony and Haley, happy and together, kissing in the sunset at the very cave they had first met.
We see Jess and Max opening up a book store - with a special section dedicated to magic, a book written by Jess laid out in the display.

TV Show Recommendation: The Gifted
So the first season of Fox’s X Men show The Gifted just wrapped its first season and has been renewed for a second, so if you haven’t been watching you really should!!!
Too many good shows get cancelled too soon, don’t let this be one of them!
Trailer
“Marvel expands its footprint on the television landscape with this new family adventure series about an ordinary suburban family whose lives change course forever when they discover their children have developed mutant powers. When the threat of a hostile government forces the family to go on the run to protect themselves, they join the ranks of an underground network of mutants. Together, the group fight to survive in a world where fear and misunderstanding put them at constant risk.”
Why should I watch this show?
Okay so *cracks knuckles*, let’s begin
These are the Struckers:
Let’s start with Andy Strucker, since he’s the catalyst for the entire show.
Tumblr media
Andy discovers his mutant abilities in the first episode in a very public and dangerous way, attracting the attention of all the wrong people which forces the Strucker family to go on the run. His internal struggles and beliefs really shape his character and make the show really interesting, especially as the first season progresses
His older sister, Lauren Strucker, is also a mutant.
Tumblr media
Lauren has known about her powers for a long time when the show begins, but keeps it a secret because of her family’s views on mutants. She really grows into a strong independent character, constantly looking out for her brother and helping her mutant friends in any way she can.
Andy and Lauren have an amazing sibling dynamic in the show despite basically being polar opposites, which is so fun to watch unfold
Tumblr media
Reed Strucker begin the series as an attorney spending his life prosecuting mutants but soon becomes one of the mutants most trusted allies.
Tumblr media
Discovering his children’s power and later his family history (*spoilers*) causes his character to have some of the best development in the whole damn show
Kate Strucker - played by the incredible Amy Acker - is a nurse and basically the only good human in the show, plus a total badass like her daughter.
Tumblr media
She has a hard time dealing with her children’s power and their growing up so fast in the new world they’ve been thrown in, but she becomes an invaluable asset to the mutants.
Tumblr media
Now onto the Mutant Underground - these are a group whose leaders were chosen by the X Men to lead to the fight to come. There are tonnes of mutant characters in the show, but these are the mains:
John Proudstar aka Thunderbird is an expert tracker, super strong, bullet proof and an all-round brilliant character who really needs a hug
Tumblr media
John is basically the leader leader of the underground who spends the season doing everything in his power to keep the people he cares about safe and not so subtly flirt with Clarice (#thunderblink). He believes in the X Men’s cause and that they chose him for a reason and he’s determined to make good on that,
Clarice Fong aka Blink can create portals and was very much not born human passing, leading to her constant exclusion from society.
Tumblr media
Starting the show on the run, she is found by the Mutant Underground and becomes one of their most important members. Clarice does not have an easy season by any stretch but she stays true to herself and doing the right thing and is one of the most developed and enjoyable characters on the show.
Lorna Dane aka Polaris aka Magneto’s daughter is a canon bipolar green haired metal controlling badass who will kick anyone and everyone’s ass if it means freeing mutants and keeping her family safe.
Tumblr media
Sure, she’s the most complex and morally grey character on the show - especially towards the end, but that’s what makes Lorna one of the best characters, and the one I’m personally most looking forward to watching develop next season.
Tumblr media
Her boyfriend, Marcos Diaz aka Eclipse is basically sunlight in human form, both in terms of his powers and character.
Tumblr media
Marcos used to get in trouble with the law but now just wants to protect his friends and Lorna, though his refusal to bend his moral code to do so makes him butt heads with her on numerous occasions.
The easiest way to describe them is Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Slytherin and Hufflepuff respectively or the look like they could kill you but is actually a cinnamon roll couple and the Sinnamon roll x Cinnamon roll couple respectively
Tumblr media
Sentinel Services, and later Trask Industries are well known in the X Men universe. Agent Turner and Dr. Cambell are hell bent on wiping out mutants, both because of personal motivations that lead them to do unforgivable things in the name of a good cause and so are very interesting to watch on screen
The Hellfire Club are also integral to the show, and will be more so in season 2
Tumblr media
Holy crap this was long, probably too long and not the best but in short: WATCH THE GIFTED

Tyson Foods, one of the nation’s largest meat processors, said on Tuesday that it would require vaccines for its U.S. workers — about half of whom remain unvaccinated.
The mandate will extend to employees in its offices and in the field. The poultry supplier is requiring its leadership team to be vaccinated by Sept. 24 and the rest of its office workers by Oct. 1. Frontline employees have until Nov. 1 to be fully inoculated, extra time the company is providing because there are “significantly more frontline team members than office workers who still need to be vaccinated,” a Tyson spokesman said.
Tyson is offering $200 to frontline workers who verify that they are fully vaccinated. The company already offered employees up to four hours of pay if they are vaccinated outside of their normal shift. Any new employees must be vaccinated before they start work, Tyson said.
Tyson, which is based in Springdale, Ark., is still negotiating the matter with its unions, which represent about one third of its hourly work force.
“We did not take this decision lightly,” the company’s chief executive, Donnie King, wrote in a memo to employees announcing the news. “We have spent months encouraging our team members to get vaccinated — today, under half of our team members are.”
To date, more than 56,000 of Tyson’s U.S. 120,000 employees have been vaccinated. Tyson, which had about $43 billion in sales in 2020, is the largest meat and poultry processor in the United States, according to Statista.
Companies, jolted by the Delta variant and eager for a return to normal, have announced a steady drumbeat of vaccine mandates for their employees over the past several weeks. But in the private sector, these requirements, which have come from Facebook, Google and Walmart and others, have so far largely focused on office workers rather than the more vulnerable frontline workers. Labor shortages that have affected industries including retail, restaurants and meatpacking have complicated the decision, which has been made more difficult by the economic divide separating those who have been vaccinated and those who have not.
The meatpacking industry has been hit hard by the coronavirus, given the close working conditions the job requires. And Tyson has come under fire for its lapses in safety standards, including allegations it failed to provide adequate safety equipment and refusing the requests of local officials to close a plant.
Tyson said Tuesday it had spent more than $700 million related the pandemic, including buying masks, face shields and providing on-site testing.
The meatpacker is based in Arkansas, where about 46 percent of the adult population is fully vaccinated. It has plants across the country, including in Georgia, Kansas, Missouri and Texas.

Activision Blizzard, the video game maker, said on Tuesday that the president of its Blizzard Entertainment studio was stepping down, a week after workers staged a walkout over allegations of harassment and discrimination.
Activision, known for Call of Duty and other popular gaming franchises, has been under intense pressure over the last couple of weeks following a lawsuit filed on July 20 in which California accused the company of fostering a “frat boy workplace culture” in which men joked about rape and women were routinely harassed and paid less than their male colleagues.
The departing executive, J. Allen Brack, will be replaced by two Blizzard executives, Jen Oneal and Mike Ybarra, who will be co-leaders of the studio, the company said in a statement.
“Both leaders are deeply committed to all of our employees; to the work ahead to ensure Blizzard is the safest, most welcoming workplace possible for women and people of any gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation or background; to upholding and reinforcing our values; and to rebuilding your trust,” Activision Blizzard said in a statement.
Ms. Oneal started at Blizzard in January as executive vice president of development, while Mr. Ybarra joined in 2019 as the executive vice president and general manager of platform and technology, Activision Blizzard said.
The video game industry has long been criticized for its toxic workplace environment toward women. In 2014, feminist critics of the industry faced death threats in what became known as Gamergate. Executives at the gaming companies Riot Games and Ubisoft have also been accused of misconduct.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.

Tencent’s shares ended down about 7 percent on Tuesday.Credit…Mark Schiefelbein/Associated Press
Shares of Tencent Holdings and other prominent Chinese video-game companies plunged in Hong Kong trading on Tuesday after a Beijing-affiliated media outlet called their products “spiritual opium.”
The blast from the state-affiliated media outlet, the Economic Information Daily, came after months of increased pressure from Beijing aimed at the broader Chinese internet industry, which serves one billion users. That pressure has moved global investors to pull billions of dollars out of Chinese technology stocks, on fears that tighter regulation could hurt company prospects.
The article from the Economic Information Daily did not declare that any specific policy changes would be made, and it was unclear whether it reflected the views of Beijing officials or merely those of the publication’s editors.
Further adding to the uncertainty, the link to the article went dead later on Tuesday, though a copy could still be found on the site of Xinhua, the official state news agency, which controls the Economic Information Daily.
Despite the uncertainty, nervous investors were quick to sell shares.
Tencent, a technology conglomerate with a big presence in social media and entertainment in addition to video games, saw its shares drop about 10 percent at one point, though the losses moderated later on Tuesday and ended down about 7 percent. NetEase, another mainland video game company, saw its shares drop nearly 9 percent.
The article’s headline — “A ‘spiritual opium’ has grown into an industry worth hundreds of billions of dollars” — left little doubt at the thrust of the piece. It cited a litany of threats posed by video games, including diverting attention from school and family and causing nearsightedness.
“No industry or sport should develop at the price of destroying a generation,” it said.
The article singled out Tencent, which owns games popular in China like Honor of Kings as well as titles popular around the world, like League of Legends.
Tencent on Tuesday released a statement on its WeChat social media network describing some of the limits it recently decided to put into place, like limiting game time for minors and increased efforts to ferret out those who lie about their age to play.
The scrutiny isn’t new to Tencent or the industry. More than half of Chinese internet users play online games, according to government statistics. In the past, officials have worried that games could hurt children’s academics, damage their eyesight and reduce the country’s military readiness. In 2019, the authorities limited the amount of time young people could spend playing games online.

The global car market is rebounding strongly despite shortages of key components like semiconductors. That was the message Tuesday from German carmaker BMW and Stellantis, which owns Jeep, Peugeot and Fiat, as both reported large increases in profit.
BMW said it made a net profit of 4.8 billion euros, or $5.7 billion, in the second quarter of 2021 compared with a loss a year earlier, when the pandemic forced showrooms around the world to close. Sales soared 43 percent to 28.6 billion euros, driven by particularly strong increases in China and the United States, BMW said. Both sales and profit were higher than the same quarter in 2019, before the pandemic struck.
Stellantis, the product of a merger this year of Fiat Chrysler and the French maker of Peugeot and Citroën cars, reported a net profit for the first six months of 2021 of 5.9 billion euros, compared with a loss a year earlier, after sales rose 46 percent to 75 billion euros.
The Stellantis figures are based on a calculation of what the combined companies’ sales and earnings would have been in the first half of 2020, had the merger already taken place. Stellantis did not publish quarterly figures.
At the same time, both companies, which between them employ more than 400,000 people, warned that a global shortage of semiconductors is continuing to disrupt production.
Nicolas Peter, the chief financial officer of BMW, told reporters during a conference call that the chip famine could curtail production by as much as 90,000 vehicles this year.
That is on top of other risks, including further waves of the pandemic, higher prices for raw materials like steel, and extreme weather like the floods in western Germany last month that killed nearly 200 people. “Confronted with all these risks,” said Oliver Zipse, the chief executive of BMW, “the second half-year will be more challenging for the BMW Group than the first.”

The scramble for temporary guest workers has been intense in recent years, as the jobless rate inched down and tensions over immigration policy ratcheted up. But this year, the competition has been particularly fierce.
To find out how the crunch has been affecting businesses — amusement parks, restaurants, camps and more — Patricia Cohen traveled to Salt Lake City, and Sydney Ember went to Portland, Maine.
Landscapers employ more H-2B workers than any other industry — roughly half of the total approved. Ken Doyle, the president of All States Landscaping in Draper, Utah, said the late arrival of 27 temporary foreign workers had cost him 15 to 20 percent of his business, about $1 million.
“We’re so far behind,” he said. “We’ve lost some very large accounts.”
Under the H-2B visa program, the number of seasonal foreign workers is ordinarily capped at 66,000 a year, split between the winter and summer season. Veteran workers, who returned year after year, used to be exempted from the total, but Congress halted that practice in 2017. The next year, the government instituted a lottery system that injected a new layer of uncertainty on top of a frustrating process.
Programs for temporary guest workers have long come under attack from several corners. Labor groups and immigration critics argue that it robs American workers of jobs and depresses wages. And every year, there are disturbing examples in which foreign workers are exploited by employers, cheated out of pay or living in squalid conditions.
Higher wages could encourage more American-born workers to apply for these jobs, said Muzaffar Chishti, director of the Migration Policy Institute at the New York University Law School. But he argues that in every labor market, there are difficult, unpleasant, low-paid jobs with no opportunity for advancement — like agricultural work or meatpacking — that are considered less desirable both for economic and for cultural reasons.

The divorce between Bill Gates and Melinda French Gates is now final.
A judge for the King County Superior Court in Washington State signed the dissolution decree on Monday, ending the 27-year marriage between the co-founders of the influential Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation while leaving the details of how the couple divided one of the largest fortunes in history shrouded in mystery.
Public filings showed that billions of dollars of shares were transferred into Ms. French Gates’s name following the public announcement in May of their plan to divorce. Forbes now estimates Ms. French Gates’s net worth at $3.2 billion, though it could be much higher. The magazine estimates Mr. Gates’s net worth at $131 billion.
The separation agreement that determined the split of assets was “not filed with the court,” according to a notation scrawled in blue ink on one of the court documents. It remained unclear, for instance, who will receive their 66,000-square-foot lakefront estate in the Seattle suburbs.
The couple’s three children are all over 18, so there was no custody arrangement necessary. The court document said that neither party had asked to make a formal name change, though Ms. French Gates has been publicly using her family name together with her married name since they separated.
In contrast, when Jeff Bezos and MacKenzie Scott divorced, a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission detailed how Mr. Bezos would keep three-quarters of the couple’s shares of Amazon, while Ms. Scott would hold onto the rest, which came to 4 percent of the company.
The largest outstanding question is how, or indeed whether, the divorced couple can work together at their enormous charity. Both Mr. Gates and Ms. French Gates have insisted that they will continue to work on behalf of the foundation’s shared mission in areas including global health, poverty reduction and gender equality.
Last month they announced that they had given an additional $15 billion to the foundation, adding to its $50 billion endowment, which already made it by most measures the largest private charitable foundation in the world. The chief executive of the Gates Foundation, Mark Suzman, also said the foundation would add new outside trustees, a step toward better governance that philanthropy experts had urged for years.
At the same time, Mr. Suzman said that Mr. Gates and Ms. French Gates had agreed that if either person found after two years that they could not work together Ms. French Gates would leave the foundation, receiving funds from Mr. Gates to pursue her own charitable endeavors.
Ms. French Gates signed her part of the divorce papers on Friday at the offices of her own organization, Pivotal Ventures, an enterprise focused on gender equality and social progress.
Susan C. Beachy contributed research.

BP said Tuesday it would increase its dividend by 4 percent and bolster stock buybacks, joining Shell and other oil companies issuing improved quarterly earnings. The London-based energy company reported adjusted net income — what it calls underlying replacement cost profits — of $2.8 billion for the second quarter, compared with a loss of $6.7 billion in the period a year earlier, when many economies were in lockdown. The big improvement: Average oil prices for the quarter more than doubled since last year as the effects of the pandemic eased.
A hearing officer of the National Labor Relations Board has recommended that the board throw out a union election at an Amazon warehouse in Bessemer, Ala., where results announced in early April showed workers rejecting a union by a more than two-to-one ratio. The union announced the recommendation on Monday, and Amazon quickly said it would take steps to ensure that the original election result prevailed. The hearing officer’s recommendation will be reviewed by the acting regional director of the agency, who will issue a ruling on the case in the coming weeks. If the regional director rules against Amazon, the company can appeal to the labor board in Washington.
Christopher J. Waller, the Federal Reserve’s newest governor, said during an interview with CNBC on Monday that he would support slowing the Fed’s big bond purchases “early” and “fast,” and he indicated that he would have preferred to first slow purchases of mortgage-backed securities — something Jerome H. Powell, the Fed chair, more or less took off the table in comments last week. If the economy continues to add jobs rapidly — perhaps at a pace of 800,000 to 1 million jobs per month — he said he thinks the Fed needs to get moving. “In my view, with tapering, we should go early and go fast to make sure we’re in position to raise rates in 2022 if we have to,” Mr. Waller said. “You could taper in October; you don’t have to wait until January.”

The Associated Press said on Tuesday that Daisy Veerasingham would become its new president and chief executive officer, the first woman and the first person of color to lead the 175-year-old news agency.
She will succeed Gary Pruitt, who is retiring at the end of the year after almost 10 years in the role. Her start date is Jan. 1.
“There is no doubt it’s a challenging media environment, and like many other media organizations, we’ve come under revenue pressure from time to time,” Ms. Veerasingham said in an interview. “So we really have to shore up our core business in media, but we also have got to work really hard to expand.”
Ms. Veerasingham, 51, joined The A.P. in 2004 as a sales director for its television news division in London. She was promoted to chief revenue officer in 2019 and became the company’s chief operating officer and executive vice president in February.
The A.P., which employs several thousand journalists reporting from 250 bureaus around the world, is interviewing candidates for executive editor, its top journalism job. Sally Buzbee left that post in May to succeed Martin Baron as the executive editor of The Washington Post.
“We’ve got really interesting candidates,” Ms. Veerasingham said, “and we would hope to be able to make an appointment within the next month or so.”
Mr. Pruitt said in a statement that he felt it was the right time “to pass the baton.”
“There is no better person to lead A.P. into its next chapter than Daisy, with whom I’ve worked closely over the past decade,” he said.
