i’m ngl, whenever i see any of those angsty tim fics where the drakes are depicted as being much worse than they were in canon, which leads tim into joining the batfamily earlier, the more those fics give off the exact same vibes of those “my evil parents sold me to [insert famous person] to pay off their debts!” wattpad fanfics to me.

#dc #batman #batfamily #batfam #tim drake #robin #red robin #ngl the only reason why i didn’t like tim when i got into comics was because i thought he was too much of a mary sue/gary stu character #he figured out batman & robin’s identity at 9 y/o and got to be robin too? sounds fake but ok #based on what i knew about him back then i thought he was annoying as hell #i still find him annoying now but for much different reasons than the one that i had back then #like the drakes weren’t perfect but i don’t think they were cartoon villain bad towards tim #also they need to give tim a new name he can’t keep going by a variation of robin when damian is planning on moving on from being robin #i hate it when they make the batkids' parents look bad in order to have bruce look like a better parent in comparison #don't get me wrong some of them do suck but the others just are getting flak for no reason other than to make bruce look good #like bruce with how he's currently being written is the world's most mediocre dad he should not be winning any parenting awards

You know, Lara-Su is actually a really neat character when written right. (aka, not Ken Penders) Like she'd be a fun daughter of Knuckles and Rouge, she's got his headstrong personality, but Rouge's more careful and practical mentality. and her chaos control could make for some great niece-uncle bonding with Shadow.

#i will never understand Pender's weird choice to sue...#like just recycle the base concepts and make new characters #he basically had to in order to separate her from the Sonic universe anyways. so why not just go all the way and avoid the lawsuit fees???#like he could have had his cake and ate it to. we ALL could have had cake #but no...he had to impractical and petty #sorry for the tag rant...he just makes me mad >-<#sonic the hedgehog #knuckles the echidna #knuxouge
