I am absolutely disgusted and have NO idea how I missed that Amazon is ending it's, 'Amazon Smile' donation program.
A program that EMPOWERED each Amazon user to choose what non-profit THEY wanted to support, through their purchases.
"The e-commerce giant had launched AmazonSmile in 2013, contributing 0.5% of every purchase made by participating customers to the charity of their choosing. As of 2022, the company said it has donated $449 million to various charities."-AP Article
*So, Amazon donated $449 million, over NINE years with this program.*
(Remember, that is the amount paid by Amazon based off of 0.5% of PURCHASES made by users who even participated in their Smile program.)
Wanna know how much Amazon made in 2022 alone?
$514 BILLION.
This is absolutely disgusting.

How is this disorder diagnosed? A mental health counselor or psychiatrist will ask you a series of questions and may observe the child in home or school. Treatment: The most commonly used treatment for ODD is cognitive behavioral therapy to help change the child’s negative thoughts and help them practice more healthy ways of communication. Family therapy can be helpful to improve communication and interactions. ODD can cause sibling problems so it is important to educate family on how to interact with a child who may have ODD. A peer support group can be helpful so the child can learn appropriate social skills. Today Julia & I received this response and we are beyond ummmm yeah...I won't say but.....here is our words to this! Jessica's response: I'm sorry say what??? As a parent of special needs parent resources are what keeps us going! This is what is wrong with education system and goes to show just how far parents need to go to seek help! One of the first places things were noticed was in school and nothing is worse than not being able to find the help kids and parents desperately need. Julia's response: So I have been a huge advocate for my daughter and many student's families on trying to work with schools, teachers and the school board since day one of diagnosis. I feel I have had great sucess with amazing teachers, aids and principals in working together. Tonight we recieved a sad reminder on how much work there is to help bridge the gap between the educational system and the resources they have and the resources that are actually required to help the families who have children with disabilities. #Disability #disabilitybooks #disabilitiesinfamilies #inclusivesupports #inclusiveeducationmethods #parentssupport #disabilityawareness #educationmatters #supportforparents https://www.instagram.com/p/CatI4R0LTA6/?utm_medium=tumblr
