Match Card for July 9th NOAH Event

After the events of "Star Navigation 2023: Kenoh vs. Go Shiozaki"; we have the official match card for the July 9th event taking place in Hachioji as part of the "Sunny Voyage" series.

At this time, with the exception of the main event, match card is not finalized. It is expected to be finalized after June 24th where most of the NOAH wrestlers will be competing in an event to celebrate Kenoh's 15th year in professional wrestling. With that said...here's the official match card.

Should AXIZ (Go Shiozaki and Katsuhiko Nakajima) pin the champions (Timothy Thatcher or Saxon Huxley) this Saturday in 8-man tag action, their match for July 9th along with another 8-man tag match could be changed. Please keep your eyes out on social media for any match card changes to the event.

Now...if this card is the official final card, be interesting to see how Jake Lee and Jack Morris will interact with each other. Same thing with Go Shiozaki and Katsuhiko Nakajima as the N-1 Victory inches closer to reality. Both GLG Members as well as the team of AXIZ are slated to face each other (Lee vs. Morris) (Shiozaki vs. Nakajima) in block competition this year.

Lastly...this event will be Kaito Kiyomiya's last match for Pro Wrestling NOAH until September 3rd due to him appearing in NJPW's G1 Climax Tournament starting on July 15th. It'll be interesting to see if anyone else from his block besides Yota Tsuji makes a surprise appearance. After this Sunday, all but Kiyomiya will be free from competing until G1 Climax begins on July 15th in Sapporo. At the same time, this will also be the Pro Wrestling NOAH debut for Adam Brooks who is slated to be a part of the N-1 Victory Tournament starting on August 6th.

Meet the Seiyuu: Ruggie Bucchi

Ruggie's voice actor Ichikawa Aoi joined the voice acting industry in 2016 and won his first lead role only a year later in 2017's TV anime "Just Because!" alongside Deuce's voice actor Kobayashi, as main character Izumi Eita. 

Today is his birthday!

Ruggie is only Ichikawa's 6th-ever lead-character role (of 16 total). 

Ichikawa's other lead roles include Nagara in Sonny Boy, Pele in Plunderer, Tsuzura Yayoi in number24, Shiro Tanaka in Boogiepop And Others, Takehaya Seiya in Tsurune: Kazemai Koukou Kyuudoubu and Mitsuru in Darling In The Franxx.

Ichikawa and Jack’s voice actor Ban Taito regularly livestream together, and their channel’s two year anniversary was just last month, where they played Fall Guys with fans online.

Ichikawa seems to do joint projects with other Twisted Wonderland voice actors fairly often, livestreaming with the voice actors for Kalim, Ace, Deuce, Trey, Jack and more on various platforms.

In this quick, three-minute clip Trey’s voice actor Suzuki tells Ichikawa that he is his number 1 best friend (Ichikawa ranks Suzuki at number 5 ww)

Ichikawa is also one of five rotating hosts of the official Twisted Wonderland radio show Twisted Radio Station, which airs every month. Thus far he has hosted only episode two, alongside Deuce’s voice actor Kobayashi.

Yeah, the updates just keep coming in~ And booooy, did I love writing this chapter. Not because it contains so much pain (well, that too, in parts), but also because it gave me the chance to adapt and add a few layers of extra meaning to one of my favorite scenes from the match against Yuigahama! I’m just so happy my son got to score for once, okay X’D This time on Aimless, Hopeless, Fearless: Kiichi’s resolve, a chunk of backstory, and... the return of the second-year combo on the pitch? Yes, you should absolutely check it out!

Match Card Changes for NOAH Events on June 18th and 22nd

Due to the injury Junta Miyawaki sustained at "All Together Again" last week and due to Shuhei Taniguchi's defection to REAL; match cards for "Sunny Voyage 2023 in Osaka" and "Star Navigation 2023 in Korakuen" have been changed.

Here are the original match cards for both events:

Now, here's the revised match cards for both events. Starting off with "Sunny Voyage 2023 in Osaka" taking place tomorrow (June 18, 2023).

Opening Match has been changed from a 8-man tag to a standard tag match as it'll be Stallion Rogers and Kai Fujimura facing Mohammed Yone and Super Crazy

Match #4 has been changed as Alejandro replaces Atsushi Kotoge to team up with Dante Leon to face the team of HAYATA and Eita.

Match #5 has been changed as Shuhei Taniguchi and Daiki Inaba have been added to what is now a 8-man tag-team match. It'll be all four members of REAL facing off against Kaito Kiyomiya, Masa Kitamiya, Yoshiki Inamura, and Daiki Inaba. And note about Kaito Kiyomiya. This 8-man tag match will be one of his last matches with Pro Wrestling NOAH before he heads over to NJPW to compete in G1 Climax 33 starting on July 15th. As of this typing, his final NOAH event before the G1 will be on July 9th in Hachioji. He is expected to return to the NOAH ring on September 3rd in Osaka.

And the main event has been changed as Atsushi Kotoge replaces Junta Miyawaki to team up with Takashi Sugiura and Naomichi Marufuji to face GLG members Jake Lee, Jack Morris, and Tadasuke.

Now...here's the changed match card for "Star Navigation 2023: Kenoh vs. Go Shiozaki" taking place on June 22nd in Korakuen Hall. Note that this card is not yet finalized. That finalization will come pending on what happens in Osaka on June 18th.

Originally slated for nine matches, match card for the event has been decreased to 8 as the original match #2 (Shuhei Taniguchi vs. Stallion Rogers) has been combined with the original match #3 (REAL+Kazuyuki Fujita vs. Masa Kitamiya, Yoshiki Inamura, Daiki Inaba, and Mohammed Yone) to become one whole match.

Also, Atsushi Kotoge replaces Junta Miyawaki in 6-man tag action. He was originally not booked to compete in this event.
