we're playing through the intro module that takes place in palebanks/aeor, and andrel's current defining character trait (other than secretly being a teenager) is HATING the cold. one of the npcs offered ear socks (garments covering long exposed fantasy ears) among the other cold weather adventuring gear so OF COURSE andrel grabbed some for his hobgoblin ears. they're black and very very cozy and make him a little less miserable
