I'm so glad you like the flashbacks!!! I want it on the record that I literally was just going to write domestic fluff and explain in like two sentences that Peter had died for them. But then as I was writing, against my express instructions, James fucking Potter refused to believe Pete betrayed them, and then I reread SS Chapter 1 for the timeline...and here's the thing.
