Wishlist for PJM1

I don't know about about you, but my feeling listening to VIBE is that Jimin, and we as a people, can only go up from here. So I decided to list everything I'd love to happen in PJM1 - from the music, to the potential features/collaborators, to the styling.

The Styling

(I never moved on from this)

For PJM1, I've always hoped Jimin would channel Victor Nikiforov. For my readers who don't watch anime, please bear with me here. I'll explain.

Platinum grey or silver, waist-long hair. Solid neutral colours on form-fitting pants or anything that highlights Jimin's beautiful dance lines. Victor is a character from the anime Yuri on Ice (highly recommended). He's a world class figure skater, a good-natured and kind person who mentors the main character. And this man is all lean muscle, executing calculated and refined movements while he glides over ice, even when he performs intense and sometimes aggressive routines. He's beautiful and I can't not see Jimin in him.

With this sort of styling on Jimin, I can easily see him switching between elfin elegance and an almost cruel and quiet intensity, or even having both energies co-exist mid-performance. Like an assassin.

I know Jimin is blonde right now, likely already filming for PJM1, but what I would give to see Jimin in this styling. His hair being almost waist-long is a firm requirement in my wishlist.

The Music

Who should I kill, fuck, or marry to have Jimin on a rock song? What will it take? Because I need the universe to gift us with the one track that will reset all life as we know it - Jimin utilizing his low and upper registers on a rock song. No other genre has the range and versatility to embody anger, joy, sensuality, pain, grief, humour, like rock music. Another wild card I've dreamed of for Jimin, is for him to include a song in the Afrobeats genre (and to collaborate with an actual African artist, not just lift their sound verbatim *cough* B.I.).

Jimin on a song like Vibration by Fireboy DML will solve the birth rate crisis in several countries. It would be club banger of the century.

(Add in a reverse modulation for Jimin to come in with his lower register, a bridge, and an Adonis or two *%#@*! in the MV and it's a wrap)

Looking at the roster of producers Jimin is working with, PJM1 will likely lean more pop and R&B, but at least one song with symphonic metal, folk rock, alternative or psychedelic rock, would suit him perfectly and elevate his album over the current milieu of k-pop.

And this is probably an unpopular opinion, but I love rapper Jimin.

He'll need to work on his breath control, but he's got everything else. If Jimin has even just one song where he simply speaks over a beat, anyway he does it, I might lose it.

The Features / Collaborators

Anyone who has followed me for more than a few months has likely seen me gush about:

Taka from ONE OK ROCK,

Tyler from Twenty One Pilots,

Mitch from Pentatonix, and

Asa - a queen and in very loose sense, the French-Nigerian analog to Erykah Badu.

I don't know how to explain it, all I can say is I can hear their voices together in my head and it sounds like paradise. If Jimin has any of those four on PJM1, I'll ask for nothing else.

Fireboy DML whose song I linked above isn't my favourite collaborator to work with Jimin in terms of vocal contrasts, but I do like the music he makes and think Jimin would body any of his songs.

The next best thing, is of course either Yoongi or Jungkook collaborating with him on a track. As this is his first solo album, I wonder if he'll go the route of the rapline so far, in seeking out only voices outside BTS, or if he'll include any of the members on his first album. If he does, Yoonkook has to be the obvious choice because if Who was incredible and Tony Montana made me look twice at Jimin, having either or both members on a song with him is sure to create magic.

Anyway, back to streaming Vibe. That song isn't half bad after several listens and two fingers of Laphroaig.

If so, you could write such a wild genre bending novel about this and I would buy it

SCREAMS ok so like yes, the velociraptors were absolutely the students - the way it came about was that I was obsessed with velociraptors, and my sister had been reading a bunch of Enid Blyton (namely: Malory Towers) and thus the velociraptor boarding school was born. I don't think we really went into adolescent dinosaur drama rip because I think the main focus was more like...ok so the format was that my sister was the older sibling velociraptor who had already been at the school for a bit and I was the younger sibling velociraptor who was just starting and trying to figure out how everything worked. I don't really remember what storylines we did because I think we kept rehashing it with new generations of velociraptors skskks so I don't think we ever got very far into the story. It was also the sort of game we'd play on saturday mornings when our parents were still in bed sksks so frequently got interrupted at the same sort of point when the parents woke up.

But oh my days a novel or book series would be AMAZING, wouldn't it? I'll have to ponder on that one. I actually mentally went through some of my old story ideas I had as a kid recently, and some of them would be so much fun to write as kids book series - like, again velociraptors, but I had this one about a team of raptors that were secret agents and they all had codenames that were planets and stuff, and then another one with a young unicorn who ran around being a hero and taming monsters and stuff, and whose older sister was like.......a hacker?? SKKS? Tbh now I think about it that was a play pretend one too. I think the hacker sibling was like, a mess and frequently burnt the cooking but was like insane on a computer and helped the younger one break into places HAHA - don't ask me how they typed with hooves, they're unicorns, it's magic

Birthdays were dumb.

Why?

Because right now you were sitting at a picnic table by yourself celebrating yours on your own. Not a single person you invited had showed up to your party; all the ones that had told you yes had texted you various reasons as to why they couldn’t come as you were getting set up at the park: something unexpected popped up, or they fell ill, or they were just too busy.

You had believed them, that is, until you were scrolling through social media when you stumbled across the popular kid’s profile and they had posted a photo of them celebrating their birthday with all the people that couldn’t come to yours. That solidified your thoughts on birthdays being the dumbest thing in the world.

Your eyes filled with tears and you dropped your head on the table. There was a lot of pizza and cupcakes but you couldn’t bring yourself to eat. It was a blow to your ego, that much was for sure, and you felt like the lamest person in the world as you sat there, your sniffles and the sounds of nature being the only thing to break the silence.

“I don’t think you're supposed to cry on your birthday,” A guy’s voice startled you from your pity party.

Looking up, you saw a tall teenager you recognized from your class as Hakkai Shiba. He was a shy boy that didn’t talk much to you, but you had still invited him to your party because he was nice and you didn’t want him to feel left out. He hadn’t given you a definitive answer on whether he would come, but here he was with a small present in hand. You were surprised, to say the least.

Hakkai then looked around and asked in a curious tone, “Am I early?”

At this, you wiped your eyes and shook your head, “It’s just us. Everyone else went to a different party.”

“Oh,” Was all he said before adding with a light shrug, “Well I’m here.”

You cracked a small smile, saying quietly, “I’m glad you could come. It means a lot.”

Hakkai took a seat next to you with a smile of his own as he held out the small box. He looked sheepish as he explained, “It’s not much, but I got you this.”

You took it from him and gingerly removed the wrapping. It was a jewelry box and when you opened it, your mouth dropped open in shock. Inside was a bracelet made of colorful glass beads and dangling from it was a little butterfly charm.

“Oh wow,” You looked at it in awe, lifting it up from the box to get a closer look. Then you slipped the bracelet around your wrist, your smile growing as it fit perfectly. “I love it.”

Hakkai released a small breath of relief, “I didn’t know what you liked, but I saw it and thought of you.”

Your happiness overtook you and you gave him a quick hug as you thanked him. When you pulled away, his cheeks were dusted a light pink, clearly flustered by your actions.

“Sorry, I just got excited,” You apologized quickly, feeling a little embarrassed yourself.

He looked away and cleared his throat, “It’s fine. I’m just glad you like it.”

It fell silent for a moment and your gaze landed on the pizza and cupcakes, realizing that it was way too much for just the two of you. Tilting your head, you looked over at Hakkai and asked, “You wouldn’t happen to know anyone who would want some free food would you?”

Hakkai looked at the food, humming in thought, “I could text my sister and Taka-chan if you want.”

Grinning brightly, you nodded your head, “The more the merrier.”

And so Hakkai sent a message to his older sister, Yuzuha. She answered right away saying that she’d be there in about ten minutes. While you waited, you and Hakkai spent the time getting to know each other better. When Yuzuha showed up, she brought with her another boy that went by Mitsuya, or Taka-chan as Hakkai had called him.

Being with the three of them was a lot of fun and you couldn’t remember the last time you laughed so much. Hakkai really saved the day and for that, you were grateful. You even exchanged numbers with him so you could start making plans to hang out again. By the time it was over, you felt like it had been the best birthday you ever had.

If you had to give Makoto another talent other than his luck what would it be? Personally I think he'd be a great motivational speaker or even a cheerleader. He's kinda already a motivatinal speaker with being the Ultimate Hope and all of that but I think it would suit him. For the cheerleader one his optimism would do wonders to motivate his team (could even be a potential Hinaegi/Kamuegi).

That's such an interesting question, because I feel like an essential thing is how much it takes for his best traits to become noticeable. I feel like if he got an ultimate title, it would be for being great in a crisis. (And also if he tried to cheerlead in the usual sense, he would hurt himself, lol.) He's a great motivational speaker when it's needed of him, but that normally manifests in just everyday advice and conversation, which isn't the kind of thing that Hope's Peak's recruiters are really looking for, I don't think. The real passionate speeches come out when exactly that energy is needed, which is usually, like I said, in times of crisis.

I could imagine a scenario where some accident or disaster happens before the letters for the 78th class go out and Makoto is wrapped up in whatever it is (I'm imagining, like, his normal high school class trip gets stranded after a plane crash or something.) and he makes a name for himself by surviving and supporting his friends through the situation. I don't know what Ultimate title that would be, since Ultimate Survivor feels a little strong; the idea isn't that he taps into survivalist talents, but just that he keeps on going, doesn't give up, and helps his group to do the same. And Ultimate Team Leader is already taken, lol.

Since Taka's title is "Ultimate Moral Compass" (meaning vague ones are on the table), maybe something like Ultimate Moral Support or Ultimate Team Morale.

If I misunderstood your question and you meant "Give this guy a real Ultimate Talent, as in add one to his character, don't just derive one from existing stuff," then make this guy an ornithologist, lol. Or, more chill, just Ultimate Bird-Watcher. Something attainable that just lets him to enjoy or be interested in something pleasant. Which may seem out of left field, but I like that vibe for him. 🤣 Give this kid a talent where he can sit on a park bench throwing out breadcrumbs.

OR

Complete 180, Ultimate Rule-Breaker. It would seem like he must be some edgy, abrasive type (and that could be a cool subversion; when everyone hears the Ultimate Rule-Breaker is going to be there, they expect someone like Mondo or even Leon), but he's cheerful and caring toward everyone. He's a rule-breaker because he will do anything to help people. I kind of love that for him.

Yeah, I think I like the last one best, lol.

Karen thoughts, please?

Sure,I have other posts talking about other members of Ink Theory too

Karen is in currently in her late 30s and married to Yoko, as a different species she had to learn to play piano on a different way since her arm cirri tentacles only end in a fine tip but she can easily play any pedal, she admires Taka so much for making playing piano look so easy. She has a special mucus around her skin that allows her to grab on things but sometimes can leak to much leading her to stick to anything.

She is sometimes seems like the british hippie positive mom, with live love laugh signs on her house wall. Her favorite thing to see are things colored in this lustrous, iriscent pearl color. A part from music she also enjoys going to zoos, slug parks and anything where there's an animal, Karen is quite the animal lover but Yoko is quite alergic to them. She also enjoys tv shows of any type, I feel she would be watching adventure time or something saying "Oww my god, I know I'm quite the granny but if I had these when I was a kid I'd have a BLAST" she also talks and talks, mostly on afternoon breaks to her friends and family of the current show shes watching and all her theories and things she saw online of it.

Zapewne ostatni dzień skandynawskiego luzu.

Wstałam rano, zrobiłam sobie krótki spacer do toalety a jak wróciłam do siebie wjechała kawa z mlekiem ryżowym. Pojechałam na rozładunek, tam poczekałam pół godziny, aż się zwolni rampa i rozładował mnie gość, który totalnie wyglądał jak Mark Hamill w Ostatnim Jedi 😆 Aż nie mogłam się powstrzymać i powiedziałam panu, że jest mega podobny do tego aktora. Mega go to ucieszyło i obdarzył mnie szczerym uśmiechem.

Później już był totalny luzik. Podjechałam 200 km na parking, zrobiłam sobie zupkę błyskawiczną vifona i kułam żelazo póki gorące czyli poszłam spacer.

Pogoda piękna, słonecznie, lekko wietrznie, temperatura max 20 stopni. Tak można sobie spacerować. I tak zrobiłam jakieś 15 kilometrów, posiedziałam trochę na kamieniu i napawałam się widokami

Kolejny dzień, gdzie z nikim nie rozmawiam przez telefon. Naprawdę jest to dla mnie luksus, który coraz bardziej zaczynam doceniać. Pisałam dziś trochę na discordzie bo przygotowuje się do zostania Matką Gry (taki narrator) w fabularnej rozgrywce Obcego z okazji wspólnego oglądania Obcy Remulus na koniec miesiąca ze znajomymi Alienowymi świrami :D

Co zaś tyczy się owego luzu. Jutro już zacznie się zapierdziel i oby już się utrzymał do końca tygodnia. Naprawdę uwielbiam czas wolny w trasie, zwłaszcza, gdy jest możliwość jak ostatnio pójść na spacer nad wodę, tudzież do lasu. Jednak jak już siedzę w pracy wolę być na wysokich obrotach, zrobić swoje i dzień za dniem byle do domu.

Po kilku godzinach spacerowania wróciłam do klamota, zabrałam swoje rzeczy i poszłam pod prysznic. Znów miałam szczęście i trafiłam na prysznic damski a nie koedukacyjny. Nawet była gorąca woda zatem luksus. Rozbawiła mnie jedynie kartka z informacją w kilku językach by nie walić kocka pod prysznicem XDDD co za bydło bez kitu. Nawet nie chce wiedzieć co się działo i w jakiej częstotliwości, iż taka kartka została wywieszona.

Kto współpracuje z ludźmi ten się w cyrku nie śmieje…. I mało co go dziwi.

Teraz na dobranoc stwierdziłam, że zrobię sobie jeszcze jedną zupkę instant od vifona. Kiedyś będę czekać na przeszczep wątroby przez to, ale jakoś na koniec wyjazdu zawsze zostają już tylko suchy prowiant. Zupka chińska albo szejk proteinowy. Tudzież wafle ryżowe, jednak czasem mam ochotę na coś ciepłego.

Zaraz się zacznie u mnie sezon na picie herbaty wiadrami. Już się nie mogę doczekać herbaty w termosie robionej wieczorem i gorącej rano zaraz po przebudzeniu 🫠

Jak dobrze pójdzie to na koniec tego tygodnia znajdzie się chętny by mnie zmienić. Niestety są teraz urlopy i wydłużają nam trasy o tydzień :/ dobrze, że chociaż pytają czy nie będzie to problem a nie stawiają przed faktem dokonanym jak już wyjedziesz. Mnie to zbyt mocno nie przeszkadza. Zarobię więcej a i tak przecież nie mam życia prywatnego praktycznie. Co nie zmienia faktu, iż czuję się już zmęczona po prostu. Dlatego dziś nadrobię ostatnie odcinki nowego sezonu The Boys i idę spać. Jutro już nie będzie opierdzielania a normalna jazda 9 godzin :)
