I don't know what's going on at my local library but apparently we got some capitalist pigs up in the media section on the first floor.

Investigating, turns out it's a financial planning service and probably the address is just listed wrong, because definitely Capitalist Pig Financial Planning does not have an office inside the Harold Washington Library. Their google profile also turned up this gem:

fringe but completely correct take, I think any time a woman spends money to get to her destination safely because walking or public transit is unsafe based on time/location/other factors, that should be tax deductible. we talk about the beauty tax or the period tax or whatever but the ‘trying your best to maintain your physical safety when even spending money isn’t a guarantee you’ll get home without incident/be okay’ tax really flies under the radar and I’m sick of it
