Most important? Tommy. He’s her best friend and her better half, and if she wanted to be a real romantic about it, she’d tell you he saved her life. He never fails to make her laugh, he shares her ideals and a vision of hope for the future; their life together is quiet and comfortable and everything Maura never knew she needed. She gives a lot of herself to a lot of people, but Tommy is one of the few people she’d die for — she just loves him so much she hopes she never has to.

🐷 PIG FACE — what is your oc's favorite animal?

Topically: pigs. When they start farming and raising animals in Jackson, Maura ends up with a piglet she names Millie. Tommy says Millie is food. Maura says that’s nice, honey — Millie, even as a giant, grown up girl, is not food. She’s Maura’s baby.

She’s a dog lover, too. Tommy brings home a golden retriever he found while out hunting one day, and Maura doesn’t have it in her to say no. They name him Lucky, and he’s a big suck. She loves that dog.

She’s not a smoker, but she does love a glass of wine. In canon, she drinks socially, and occasionally has a glass of wine (or two) at home after a really long week. It’s not a super regular things, but it’s not something she saves for a special occasion. In a normal world, she’d be the classic “wine mom”.

Because everyone is sleeping on him. Witness his greatness!! First two Kaka colored icons were colored by me, lineart by Ryoko Kui though!

Kaka & Kiki are kinda like Laios & Falin… Kaka being stoic and giving repressed energy like early Laios, Kiki being cryptic and always smiling and kinda soft-looking. Autism siblings 2, ostracized and othered as kids and have a deep bond due to sticking together through it all, though unlike with Laios their parents are very loving so Kaka developed family as a big value more than Laios (bc asides for Falin Laios doesn’t care much about it).

In the gnome festival comic you can see Kaka is more emotive than he seems! Full with a :3 face, and he’s the one crying at the end. He’s insecure about his legs and being tall… It really got to him. Conceal don’t feel. In the gnome festival comic you also see him sensing others’ gaze on him and that something is off unlike Kiki, again Laios-like in the way that judgement from others gets to him more than her.

MILESTONE + NEW POLL!

First off, I want to say you guys are AWESOME, the continued support I’ve received over the two years this blog has been up has been absolutely amazing and I appreciate every single one of you, seriously! This has actually been the biggest I’ve ever grown on Tumblr and I really didn’t think this account would go far, so thank you to legit everyone for making this experience so amazing and worthwhile!

Now.. Sentiments aside, I’d like to do a celebration of sorts for this 3000+ milestone, for one, since I know a LOT of you have been asking, I’ll attempt to implement some voice/music channels in the server, I’ll also be adding new pings possibly!

Second, I’m planning to make a yandere drawing with all the boys in an outfit of my follower’s choice! Shortly, I’ll be holding a poll and whichever outfit gets the most votes, that’s what I’ll do! The poll will last for at least 24 hours, so vote while you can! (The poll can be found in the Discord server)

Lastly, I’ll be holding YCH yandere commissions. There will be at least three of them and will likely be first come, first serve. Once I have that finished, I’ll be posting it to Tumblr as soon as possible. Keep an eye out!

Last night I had one of my favorite kinds of dreams where I’m super tcklish for no reason🙈

I was playing with baby pandas in the snow (which is stupidly cute on it’s own what the heck???) and they kept pushing me down into the snow and crawling all over me and getting snow down the back of my neck, all of which tckled like crazy and I was a mess of giggles and they seemed to like seeing me happy cuz the more I giggled the more affectionate they got🙈

Needless to say that was a wonderful break from the usual nightmares🥹

I love the way you draw Big Sis Moon! She looks so regal!

Thank you! Actually this is a fun time to mention how much I wanted Suns and Moon to be the opposite types of regal in their designs.

Suns is sharp top heavy and imposing. Their antenna are supposed to semi resemble a crown along with their fancy neck fluff. Their colors against red backgrounds are eye catching and bold. They're more so supposed to demand respect than give any comfort which fits what their colony is all about. They are "in charge" after all.

Moon is the opposite! Her design is more bottom heavy with a streamline elegant figure, fewer edges, nit many details and a long robe that constantly sways around her. It makes her look big, but gentle. She's comforting and welcoming with a pleasant and easy on the eye with her color scheme focusing on gentle blues and purples. Her colony finds her comforting, she's not authority she's the ever present Looks to the Moon who's taken care of them for countless generations.

They're opposites in many ways. Which makes it easy to see why Pebbles went after Suns as company. Someone different in literally every meaningful way. Freedom from the sister he was attached to.

Which leads to another fun detail. Part of what makes Moon look so elegant and regal is her robe.

So when you remove it, it's like ridding her of her godhood in a way. That part of her dies with her collapse and is only barely restored in a very tattered and shadow of it's former self way with her post-Rivulet design.

So anyway. Ahem.

I just wanted to gush about Moon as always. And I wanted to tell you about my thought process about her design as it looks deceptively simple, but I've put a lot of thought into it.
