A random headcanon: He's old, but still a post-war ghoul. He was a drifter and wanderer for years before finally settling in Freeside, he likes it there because it's safer than the wastes but still lively and interesting enough to just sit around and observe

General Opinion over said character: I LOVE ROTFACE he's one of my favorite more obscure npcs, I always listen to every single line of dialogue he has (which I think is like 30 lines?). This quote in particular always cracks me up:

So about atla au (i think I'm getting brain worms about this), is Kaboodle gonna be back at some point in the story? Are all airbenders dead in your au too and who is avatar if there is?

Also saw the minutech art and tags, since he's an earthbender can't he just be blind? Or is it too similar to atla?

Hihi :3 Yes Kab DOES come back i dont have like the story/timeline like fully written out but she wants to face clown and take revenge on him for their tribe, for what he did to her. Kab and Clown did trained and learned everything together but she finds clown practicing/learning bloodbending; a forbidden form of waterbending without her. Clown was breaking the rules and his sister's heart and trust and she wants to get back at him for that.

(i explain it in a less lore-y storytelling way below :3c)

And on where she kinda appears again: Kab has somewhat mastered waterbending lives in republic city with maddy(millkberry), someone she met in republic city and is now really close friends with! The taking revenge on Clown is distant thing to her. She just wants to live normally in the city making friends and not worrying about her crazy bloodbending brother. Until one day shes out late at night and spots some fighting going on in an alleyway, more importantly, someone getting bloodbent by none other than the infamous ClownPierce.

(Ive actually been thinking of giving clown a normal name in this au instead of just like CLOWN LMAO i dont remember if i mentioned this anywhere i think i did??)

Her original "costume", from down in the secret chamber beneath the mausoleum in AtBoM (when she's trying to get every party-goer to help her take down Dr. Crane, who used that place as a hideout), is very reminiscent of Samhain from the old Ghostbusters cartoon:

That said, her "official" villain look is undecided, since we never had to really go that route. Her official weapons at the time were a sawed-off shotgun, a classic revolver, and backup in the form of her great-uncle's mob ties, but I'll also add in mace and brass knuckles, because it's Gotham and she always has those in her purse.

I am doing quite fine, tbh! Enjoying some vacation and just overall trying my best to be productive in terms of creative stuff <3

As for your questions, I am currently trying my best to develop a couple of characters for Genshin Impact, Mirana, and Eos, but I am still very much working on Mirana's overall character design. Since she has two different "aspects" to herself, I am trying to figure out her default design and her Oneiric ones, tho I am on the right path with her, I think.

Just trying my hand with it while deciding her backstory and whatnot. I am also reworking her sister Eos to make her character design more coherent and connected to Mirana, since they represent the Dawn (Eos) and the Dusk (Mirana).

I think I am on a good path with them tho <3

As for new AUs, I have one that I have been working for a while now (almost a year, tbh), and I will share a small wip of it (since it's written) in another post, so it's easier for me to also find it, when I need it. It's a Jottie/ALL AC AU where I took all the Arthurian Legends and ASOIAF and just basically created a self-indulgent AU

Omg this was so much fun to write, I….. AM So So Sorry, Anon, I have a feeling you might have wanted this to be pure. A pure imagine where Lucio oohs and aahs over their familiar and isn’t an absolute dickhead. But alas, I wrote the (kind of) exact opposite off that.

It was a good way for me to try and flex out my muse for him??? Which is apparently “Regina George meets Maddy Perez”.

“…Ew.” Lucio’s face screws up in disgust at the thing, whatever the hell it is. “This… thing. Is your familliar?”

The foal’s big, round eyes peer up at [F/N], practically begging for Lucio’s righteous retribution. Any other person and they would have dragged their ass to hell for insinuating that their precious familliar is anything but adorable, but this is different. Lucio is their idiot. They flash an apologetic look to their familiar.

 [F/N] squares their shoulders, looks Lucio in the eye, and answers, “Yes.”

“Ha!” The laugh that leaves Lucio’s mouth is condescendingly lyrical. And they can tell, much to their chagrin, that Lucio isn’t trying to stop. He finds this hysterical. Gasping, he tries to sputter out words, lifitng his head in a vain attempt, but it’s all for nought as he ducks down and bursts into laughter again.

Between a fit of giggles he gasps out, “What even is it? It’s so– Ugh!” He shivers violently, frantically jumping away from them and their familliar. “What is it, a midget horse?”

“She’s a donkey!”

Lucio wheezes in laughter, doubling over and pointing at them. “A donke- Oh gods. A mystifying force out there took one good look at you and thought… Wow, what a sad, sad apprentice with a miserable life. What a time. What a vision. Time to make their familiar an ass.”

Their familiar makes a soft whining sound, nudging her head against their leg.

“Lucio, you’re being an asshole,” they say through gritted teeth. Patience. Patience is key with Lucio. He’s not all sugared words laced with venom. There’s reason behind what he says.

All laughter is squeezed out of him. Surprise paints his face, and then he pouts.

Oh. Now he’s pouting?

His lower lip juts out as their familiar lingers behind their legs, watching Lucio warily. “Sweetpea, you know I didn’t mean it like that. It’s just... You’re you.”

They level him a withering glare. Lucio sweats, staggering backwards a little. “What’s that supposed to mean?”

“This is all coming out wrong. Please hear me out.”

Now he’s begging.

Lucio scrambles forward and grabs their hand, trapping it between his: golden metal and flesh and blood. “Familiars are supposed to represent you in some way, right? Like Asra with Faust, because Asra’s an ungrateful snake. Julian with Malak, because he’s a bird doctor, and, you know, birds. That and he’s got a natural connection with death, bless him. So on and so forth. They’re all poor, so they only have one bonded animal. Me? I have plenty. You’ve seen them lounging about. They adore you. They adore me.”

This is going somewhere. They narrow their eyes down at him. He sputters, and hurries it up.

“When I see you,” he says, “I see grandiose animals that speak true of your potential and beauty. I see lions, I see sunset moths, I see caracals, I see dragonfly, I see tigers, I see swans. I do not see prey.”

Lucio eyes the donkey with indifference, his lips curling into a slight scowl.

“I do not see weakness.”

“Lucio...” For a second they trail off. Their familiar peeks out from behind their legs, then digs its face into the back of their calves. She’s still shy, huh...? She is just a foal, after all.

Gathering their thoughts, they sigh. “I mean, I’m flattered, but we don’t choose our familiars. We don’t choose the connection. When I saw her, all of the pieces fell into place. It just felt so right. All this time I’ve been so envious of everyone having a connection with their own animal. Now I have one.”

His eyes, silver and sharp, meet theirs. Understanding flickers beneath the surface.

“Could you try and be happy for me, please...?”

“... Of course.” He smiles dazzilingly. “I will try and be happy for you.”

“Thank you.”

“Even if it’s hard to look at. It’s sleeping on the floor, by the way. Not in our bed.”

Bonus:

“Did [F/N] name you yet, ugly duckling?” Lucio asks nonchalantly, barely sparing a glance to the donkey curled up on F/N’s side of the bed. From the corner of his eye, he sees her perk up. Her ears twitch.

Then she tilts her head. Big, round eyes openly gape at him... Before she lowers her head again.

“You don’t really occupy my thoughts, ever. But it bothers me that you don’t have a name. I’m doing this for them, not for you, by the way.” He hums, eyeing himself in the mirror. He looks good today, wow.

“I was thinking... Daisy? They’re flowers that represent hope. And I think you give my cute little magician hope, don’t you?”

Daisy. She lifts her head and meets his eyes. She makes a little hee sound, an approving sound.

... Huh.

She’s kind of cute, isn’t she.

You will probably notice that there is an artist that pops up a lot on this list, Robyn Adele Anderson, that’s because she is one of my inspirations for Em, her look, voice, mannerisms, etc., etc. It also plays into Emery’s background of being a singer/entertainer at the Mysterious Stanger speakeasy, back in the early 1900′s.

“Ex’s and Oh’s” by Elle King - Honestly this is just one of the first songs that I remember associating with Emery. Cause honestly she goes through partners quick. But I also think (or at the very least she thinks) that they will never get over her. There are also some lyrics that foreshadow some events. :3c 

"Helena" cover by Robyn Adele Anderson - So this song I headcanon as about said future event. There’s a point that Emery because a ghost, which exclusively haunts Heath since he is the only one who had the ability to. And she really melancholy about it. And I just imagine her sing this to him.

"Soon We'll Be Found" Cover by Robyn Adele Anderson -  And other Heath and Emery song. This one I headcanon taking place after a rather traumatic event in their friendship after Ramiel, Heath’s gf at the time, shot him seemingly in cold blood and then tried to bait Emery with the blood of her best friend. Cause as a hunter, these bound to be SOME collateral damage when taking on monsters. And Heath, who always had an overly kind nature, got caught in the crosshairs. when his friend’s ravenous nature won out. Heath just trusted the wrong monster. ANYWAY, I imagine this as Emery trying to calm Heath as he’s fading. Spoilers’ Heath was ‘‘fine.’‘ ya know, just a few weeks in a coma, ‘bout 10 cm of small intestines lost in emergency surgery, and a star-shaped scar left behind from the gunshot. but he’s FINE.

“Made You Miss” by Maddie Poppe - Again, it’s Emery, she’s flirty and loves to play hard to get. But also she is super spiteful and she will play with people’s emotions.

“Gangsta's Paradise” - Vintage 1920's Al Capone Style Coolio Cover by Postmodern Jukebox ft. Robyn Adele Anderson - Okay so Emery was a gangsta, back in the 1920- late 30′s. She was a part of a strange paranormal mafia. In fact, though she did get her hands dirty too, she was the main squeeze of the mob boss. But Emery also isn’t super happy about being in this mafia life, cause her price to see it was her becoming a vampire. She’s got involved with the boss cause abruptly found herself part of this unseen paranormal underground, and the boss was there to help her. And being the boss’s girl gave her protection and though their romance was very hot and steamy, the boss also kept her somewhat naive to the paranormal so that she could easily leave him. So she was somewhat stuck.

“All The Boys” by Panic! at the Disco - Again Emery is a player, and a femme fatal. She’s been around and highly sought out as she presents herself as a sex symbol. But similarly to how Robyn Adele Anderson is an inspiration for Em, Bredon Urie is an inspiration for a certain demon who plays heavily in Emery’s story. One that does love her madly and believes that she is his.

“Paint It Black” Cover by Robyn Adele Anderson - I just like this song. I sorta imagine it as Emery comparing her outlook to that of Heath, who is overly optimistic and idealistic in her mind. where she is very VERY jaded and has thought of herself for many decades as only a monster. It wasn’t until Heath's friendship, did Emery start to see herself more.

“Requiem (from Dear Evan Hansen)” covered by Anna - This is Emery morning her human life (more repressing the grief for her humanity and most treasured love), that was stripped away from her. It wasn’t a great life. It was filled with a lot of regrets and acts she’d take back if she could. As her father disowned her after she was discovered partaking in unladylike pastimes. And her mother, who she was close to, slipped away to early-onset Alzheimer's (unknown at the time it was 1920′s) And it all topped off with her convincing herself she is not but a monster now.

“Closer” (Nine Inch Nails) Cover by Robyn Adele Anderson - So super NSFW song, but one thing that Em does is that she drowns her problems in sex. That is literally what’s going on in this song. Yay! :’D

“Vampire” by The Orion Experience - Super obvious song is super obvious! Emery’s a vampire! But also the lyrics do fittingly describe Em, with “Hotter than a campfire, Heart has got no pitty, sexy black stiletto, One kiss will bring you to your knees.” So obvious but fitting.

“Candy Store” from Heathers, acoustic cover by Mariah Rose Faith - So Emery was base a bit on Heather Chandler from Heathers, (and yes, MY Heather did get her name from this movie/play, though I don’t feel like fits any character from Heathers. I just watch the movie the night before my friends pressed me for a name for the chaotic “girl”) the whole mega-bitch, queen bee vibe, but as I explored her character more and she became more than just mean, pretty girl, I feel like the acoustic cover of this song is fitting. Cause she’s still mean and bitch, but there’s sadness in there too.

“There are Worse Things I Could Do” from Grease - Hopefully this link works cause I love this performance of the song, which I believe is from the Australian cast recording, but apparently it no longer exists except on my iPod? so I put it up unlisted on my youtube. But again this song I feel goes to the heart that; Yeah Emery’s a bitch but she’s not unfeeling, even though she’d really like you to think she is causing, fuck your sympathy, she a cruel evil monster. Honestly, she’s a lot like Vincent in that she doesn’t like to show her vulnerabilities. I’ve imagined her singing this song to Heath, to Logan. And honestly, this vision I think has the best emotional. don’t @ me for that, just my opinion.

“The Vampire” by Solace and Fury - again! The super obvious song is super obvious! Emery’s a vampire! But I like this song cause I think it goes to Emery’s mentality of being a Vampire isn’t glitzy and glamourous. She is though, but being glamourous and being a vampire are mutually exclusive. As a vampire, you're a monster, your this dark creature that does dark and horrific things. It ain’t sexy. Emery is sexy, but again, mutually exclusive.

who’s the lighter sleeper? Klavier? Cause Clay is out like a light when he wants to, ahaha~ (Dude can also sleep in the strangest of places.)

Maddie sniffles a little, reaches up to quickly wipe some stray tears from her face. "I imagine. It's always hard to see someone you love get hurt, huh?" Eddie blinks once before staring at her in surprise. Can it be possible that she already knows how he feels despite him only figuring it out for himself just that night. "I'm surprised you're not already in his room with him."

"Yeah, well," Eddie pauses, gulps and reaches up to rub the back of his neck. "I felt weird about seeing him in his room before you."

Maddie gives him a look that he can't quite decipher for a moment. "Huh." She pauses for a moment. "Let's go see if they'll let us in, yeah?" She gives him a somewhat hopeful smile before turning on her heel to track down a nurse who can tell them where Buck is. Eddie follows after her, only managing to catch up with her fast movements when she reaches the front desk. "Hi, we're here to see an Evan Buckley?" she asks the woman behind the desk, hands braced on it as she leans against it.

The nurse types away on the computer in front of her for a moment before giving Maddie an apologetic look. "Sorry, but we're only allowing family in as of right now."

Maddie blinks at that, seeming briefly taken aback. "Well, I'm his sister."

"Oh," the nurse says before turning to look at Eddie. "Are you his brother?"

Eddie scoffs and says, "No, I'm not his brother."

The nurse smiles with an apologetic tilt of her head. "Sorry, like I said, family only—"

"I'm actually his fiance!" Eddie says quickly, ignoring both the blush that he feels on his cheeks and the pointed stare he feels coming from Maddie. Saying the words feels more right than he'd really care to admit right about now.

The nurse blinks in surprise, clearly taken aback at the rushed words. "Oh. Well. In that case. You're both free to go see him." She rattles off a room number before smiling and nodding at the pair.

"Thanks so much," Maddie says with a smile, grabbing Eddie by the arm and dragging him off down the hallway. Once they're out of the nurse's earshot, she turns her head to look at Eddie as they rush down the hall. "So, you're his fiance now, huh?"

"I panicked," Eddie replies. "And, besides, I promised Buck I'd be there when he wakes up." Eddie ignores the heavy look Maddie's sending him.

the character i least understand None of them tbh, I think all their motivations are pretty well explained haha interactions i enjoyed the most I love Faybelle interacting with anyone, this girl I swear. Also Duchess when she’s trying to get the pond cleaned up lmao No one wants to talk to her! Also that Rapple stuff, you know you know ;3c

the character who scares me the most I mean they’re all pretty non threatening, but the Evil Queen did try to murder everyone soooo the character who is mostly like me Oh man, I actually am really stumped here lol Maybe Ramona cuz she’s so unapologetically herself and that’s how I usually am, though she’s way cooler and more badass. Maybe Maddy as well, mostly cuz of the hair and the fun times? hottest looks character Lizzie is fucking adorable, but Ramona is definitely the hottest.  one thing i dislike about my fave character LIZZIE DOESN’T GET ENOUGH SCREEN TIME  one thing i like about my hated character I don’t really hate anyone lol I guess Dexter has a nice design, I don’t like him too much a quote or scene that haunts me When all the Wonderlandians are fucking booking it out of Wonderland, leaving their families and lives behind :c Also when Lizzie worries about her mother and cries, so sad </3 a death that left me indifferent a character i wish died but didn’t my ship that never sailed Ramona with anyone, I NEED MORE RAMONA
