Everytime I visit @quijicroix I end up drawing tmfu fanart fkkfkkkc weird. Anyway all the little comics are retellings of my favorite scene from the episodes :) with no liberties taken whatsoever haha I would never do that

PS : Was no one gonna tell me that my most high effort uncle fanart, where I made them eat at a restaurant from my hometown as an excuse to show off the food I grew up with that is specific to this region of france..... Is canon ?????? They actually went to the french riviera (and not like marseille or aix ?? Well they're not in Nice, but Canne is a 40min drive away so close enough) ???????? 40 DAYS OF MY FAVORITE MFU EPISODES- DAY 10:       The Girls of Nazarone Affair (S1 E28)

Omg this episode is just… weird… Not in a bad way I mean, but it’s certainly very creative :) I still can’t stop laughing at the way Thrush “tortures” the poor Napoleon (I’m sorry, Napoleon!) XD And I just love how slashy this episode is. Don’t tell me there’s nothing between the boys when Illya bends down and teasingly says “You did say you like blonds” to Napoleon :D And of course Napoleon only pretends to be mad in the end, so the innocent will leave them alone to “sort out their own problems” ;) Also, they are totally checking out each other’s butts when they inspect their hotel room. Right? Right?

The Surprisingly Kickass Women of UNCLE (2/­2)

Gif 1-2: The Candidate's Wife Affair (S3), Diana Hyland as Irina. There is a lesson here for THRUSH, and that lesson is that if you’re going to replace an important figure with a brainwashed double, maybe see if you can find one who isn’t a professional Judo instructor -- or your plan might just backfire.

Gif 3-4: The Girls of Nazarone Affair (S1) Danica D'Hondt as Lucia Nazarone (and Kathy Kersh and Sharon Tate as two THRUSH agents). Nazarone herself is cheating slightly, as she’s had her metabolism hyped up by a healing serum, (her assistants from the second gif are merely relying on old fashioned strength in numbers). Gif 5-6: The Project Deephole Affair (S2) Barbara Bouchet as Narcissus. Though the staging is a little clunky, what I love about that second gif is that that ankle lock move she’s doing is a recognisably legit takedown move (and actually one of my instructor’s favourites). It may not be as showy as the judo-flips that were so popular in sixties TV, but  I can say from experience that when someone gets it right, it’s like having the rug pulled from under you.

Gif 7: Hey, remember that time in The Double Affair/The Spy With My Face (S1) where Napoleon nearly escapes his THRUSH captors, only to be knocked cold by a random woman in a two-piece bathing suit who has no other role in the scene? Yep, that happened. And people say S1 was less weird than the later seasons. (FTR, she does later reappear as a masseuse called Nina, played by Donna Michelle.)

Gif 8: The Candidate's Wife Affair (again), since the episode ends with Waverly deciding that Napoleon and Illya need some remedial judo classes with Irina and her students.

I love the subtle staging in these scenes in The Girls of Nazarone Affair. Napoleon first comes in on Illya sitting alone with a partly drunk bottle of wine. Then he toddles off to the clinic to look in on Nazarone, and comes back to a much, much more relaxed Illya with two bottles on the table, one entirely empty (and he’s obviously sat there and picked the label off the first bottle in his boredom.) Soft, slightly melancholy, reflective Illya, full of wine. (Bonus: Napoleon’s face as he looks at Lavinia Brown!)
