Raphael (TMNT 2012) with your prompts 14, 52, and 62?

Alright! I decided to try and show Raph's softer side more than his sadistic side in this, although I struggled a bit with the prompts due to my Raph being different so up to you to see how well things went! ^^

I think I did a plot similar to this but I'm not sure, let me know what you think! This is essentially the other way I think of Yandere Raph.

Pairing: Romantic

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Fears of abandonment, Kidnapping, You're already in a relationship, Delusional Raphael, Isolation, Angst probably, Dehumanization, Sense of ownership, Dubious relationship turned forced, Darling still loves him or you can say it's Stockholm syndrome.

Losing someone you care about makes some desperate. Desperation makes drastic decisions. Especially with someone as volatile as Raphael.

Ever since Spike became Slash and left Raph behind, he's never been the same. When it came to you he was always... different. Before Slash he treated you like you were a person, his partner whom he adores.

It was when Slash left that he obtained a different view towards you.

"It's too dangerous in the world. You need me, you should know that!"

Paranoia at the fact you might leave him began to rear its ugly head. Not only that but he started to treat you similarly to the pet box turtle he originally adored. Slowly you went from becoming his partner... to a pet.

Raphael always kept you locked in his room. He treated the outside world like it was too dangerous, like he couldn't let you free. Raphael did not want to let you go... just like how he was with Spike.

Others knew Raphael as volatile and unpredictable, a mutant with anger issues. While you have seen that side too... there's another one. Raphael can be softer and more vulnerable at times.

Ever since he lost Spike and made you the replacement, he's been more emotional. His rage sometimes burns brighter but he's also actively seeking comfort. He's lost and the idea of that would make you sad because you truly loved him at one point in time.

But you yearn for freedom more than anything.

"Baby, I can't let you out... I need to keep track of you." Raphael claims in an attempt to rationalize his actions. "I must know everything about you!"

"I'm not a pet, Raph... I don't want to be in the dark anymore." You try to plead with him, eying the closed door behind you.

"... You know I can't lose you. If I let you go, you won't come back.... I can't do that, I love you too much."

"Why do you see me as another Spike?" You spit, pulling at the chain on your leg. "I think you even treated him better than this...."

"Shut up!" Raphael barks, you swore you saw tears. "Don't say his damn name! You mean so much more to me than him! You won't leave me like him, either!"

Raphael's tone is dangerous. He sounds just about on the edge of snapping. You've fought before... but now you can't just walk away until he cools down.

You're stuck.

"Okay, okay! I'm sorry... I won't bring him up." You drop your hostility in hopes of calming the beast in front of you. Funny how he treats you as an animal when he's the monster.

In fact, in hopes to calm the burning fire in Raph, you force yourself to do something you've done early on in your relationship. You stand up slowly and sit yourself on his bed. You watch his green gaze follow you before patting down beside you.

Raph appears to calm when he realizes what you're doing. You remain still like taming a wild animal as he crawls onto the bed at lays beside you. You then allow him to lay on top of you with a huff.

There's silence except for the occasional sound outside of his room in the sewer. The turtle buries his face into you and tightens his grip. Deep down... Raphael is just as soft as any other.

You just need to feed into it to keep the beast at bay.

"My world's covered in darkness without you." You hear Raphael say quietly. Deep down, despite what he's done, you still feel your heart crack at his words. You just wished he never snapped.

You say nothing and hold him closer. Somewhere in your heart you really do still love him. Part of you wonders if that will ever change.

You just wish you could fix things, but truthfully, you probably cannot.

"Will you ever remove the chains?" You ask him in your own soft tone. This time it's his turn to be silent. As a result you only stroke the back of his shell.

Even now you find comfort in these moments...

It makes you feel less alone... just like him.

Currently only really DSMP, but in the past I've written for bnha, marvel, rise of the guardians, homestuck, transformers and a bunch of other random ones in there.

Before looking, my guess is it'll all be bnha, since some of those are my longer ones and and got pretty popular.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Not usually, I respond sometimes if there's something that catches my attention. but. Uh.

6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Uhhhh, for dsmp they aren't too bad but probably A Palimpsest Mind.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

For DSMP again, Mercenary to Mailman

8. Do you get hate on your fic?

Nope, never really had issues with that. I've had a couple of weirdos but not really hate.

9. Do you write smut?

I did it once to prove I could but I didn't find it too interesting. Sometimes ideas can be fun but ever since the one time I found myself just wanting to write something else when I tried.

10. Do you write crossovers?

Nah, it's not my thing.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Yes, very weirdly. Was able to get it taken down though!

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

I have! Several of my fics have been translated and it was super cool!

13. Have you ever co-written a fic?

I don't think I have? But I've done RP and worked out ideas with people before!

14. What‘s your all-time favorite ship?

Uh, honestly I'm less interested in ships themselves and more the nonsense that you can create with that. Any ship can be my favorite if it serves my purposes.

15. What’s the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Fissile Family tbh. I have so much written for that and it all planned out but my interested in the bnha fandom is currently dead.

16. What’s your writing strengths?

I'm a pretty fast writer overall, and I think I do well with characterization and dialogue. I know that when I get in a flow I can get character voices down pretty well and that's something that I'm proud of. I'm also pretty good with doing my own take on characters that's different from their canon versions but is still verisimilar.

17. What’s your writing weaknesses?

Sometimes I just forget words or switch what sentence I'm writing halfway through and then never catch it. Also I have to actively beat back my own comma abuse.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

It's neat? Unclear what this question is asking me for.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Warrior cats! It was hand written in a binder that I actually still have, about clans in an abandoned shopping mall. It was very silly and I'm still proud of baby me for writing it!

Seven Year Old Katsuki Has The Ability To Kill A Grown Man And No Concept Of Legality

The formatting on this one was insane and took so long and I'm proud of how it came out!

Raising Flags

Tara Carpenter and Amber Freeman are the newest stars on Woodboro High’s Girl’s Soccer team... When Tara gets hurt, all bets are off

Word Count: 2249

Amber Freeman and Tara Carpenter were a force to be reckoned with on the soccer field. The duo just clicked together so well that not even the best defensive players could stop those two from scoring.

The two girls quickly realized their unreal talent after joining Woodsboro’s Girls’ Soccer team their freshman year and before they knew it they had quickly been moved to the varsity team with the upperclassmen. Their chemistry on the field was electric, the way they so easily played off each was like watching a famous artist paint a masterpiece.

Their friends were always their biggest cheerleaders, literally and figuratively. Chad, Mindy, and Wes were always in the stands with cringy signs and face paint. Eager to cheer on the young team members. The entire first season the crew did not miss a game, the tradition followed into Chad’s football season (even if he spent 90% of it on the bench). They quickly added Liv, a cheerleader to their friend group after she recognized Tara at their summer job and complemented their supportiveness for the not-so-football player.

But now they were sophomores heading into their second season on the varsity soccer team. It was a very important game for the duo and well the whole school. They were of course playing their rivals in the name of school spirit.

Tara and Amber were superstitious when they had big games coming up. It started with a sleepover that Mindy always crashed of course followed by Chad and Liv and eventually Wes. They’d get ready for school together and Amber always ensured that Tara took her medication for her Asthma as she didn’t want the younger girl to literally kill herself on the field. They always had pepperoni pizza for lunch and drank yellow Gatorade before heading to practice.

“So ladies, are we gonna rock it tonight?” Mindy asked as they prepared their backpacks. Each girl wore their royal blue jerseys and Mindy of course wore Tara’s gold away jersey that she had proudly stolen from the girl’s closet Carpenter 03 across her back. Amber would describe it as a serious case of FOMO but Tara loved it.

“That's always the plan Ms. Carpenter.” Tara teased the girl. Eying her own jersey on her best friend’s back and chuckling.

“You don’t wear my jerseys” Chad whined from the other side of the table.

“You’re lucky they even let you wear a jersey.” Mindy snapped back. “Plus you gave Liv your jersey remember.” Chad stood up a little stung from his sister’s comment.

“At least he gave it to someone, you had to steal yours” Amber rolled her eyes.

Mindy loved when the little green monster jumped out of Amber it was almost always directed towards Wes but sometimes she could summon it, like when Tara would allow Mindy to rest her head on her shoulder during movie nights or when she would like in this instance steal some of Tara’s clothes. Mindy liked that side of Amber- she was more relatable when she was snarky. Plus she knew that she had secretly wanted to have been the one who was wearing the extra Carpenter jersey, but how could she when she was wearing her own? Why let the opportunity go to waste?

Mindy was hyper-aware of everyone’s dynamics, she loved to use it to her advantage. She knew Amber has had a crush on Tara since last year. The little green monster first appeared when Wes shared the news of him and Tara beginning a relationship last summer. Amber was less than ecstatic, often making the boy’s life as close to a living hell as possible. So when word that they had broken up earlier this summer got out Mindy knew Amber would waste no time schmoozing her way close to Tara. Now the two were inseparable. Mindy was just waiting for indisputable evidence to bring to her best friend’s attention so that the two can live happily ever after.

…

“9 and 14 switch!” Coach Fox called out to Amber on the field. She threw her hands up rushing over to the bench. The game was going great, they were winning 3-1. She didn’t understand why she had been benched or why she would separate her from Tara, but with a stern look from her coach, she just sat down, saving her energy for the later part of the game. She sent a daggering look to Liv across the field in her cheerleading uniform just for the heck of it, she needed someone to feel her wrath and clearly, it was not the field nor her coach.

The rest of the group was in the audience cheering the girls on and absolutely being enamored in the sea of blue. Once again they broke into the face paint. Mindy had each girls’ number painted on either cheek and Chad had alternating eye black in the school’s colors. Wes of course opted out but was wearing a homemade shirt that read I’m with #3 that he had made last season but never stopped wearing it when he and the player broke up.

Tara broke through the neutral zone. The small girl took the ball and dribbled her way past a crowd of orange jerseys. The crowd was on their feet. Tara was about to seal the deal of the game and give her team a 3-point lead and a nearly deadly choke hold. The crowd was roaring. She wound up her leg for a kick and just as her foot was about to make contact with the ball she felt forceful hands meet her chest knocking the air out of her. The crowd fell silent as Tara hit the ground backward, her head bouncing upon contact with the ground, and the opposing teammate landed on top of her.

It felt like she was watching it in slow motion Mindy took off out of the stands trying to get to her friend running faster than she ever had before in her life and the rest followed her.

Amber was on her feet the second she saw the orange jersey zone in on Tara and rushed off the bench the second she had made contact with the smaller girl and to the scene the similar slow-motion effect taking over her vision, She grabbed the player who was on off of Tara by the collar of their jersey ripping them to her feet and pushing her back causing the player to stumble. She was seeing red, a rage fired within her and then before she could even register what was happening Amber delivered a punch square in the face that didn’t go unanswered by a teammate. Eventually, a brawl between both teams broke out before any ref or coach could intervene. Amber at the heart of it threw punches at anyone who tried to get between her and the dick who hit Tara.

Mindy was the first one to Tara’s side; she ran straight through the field and to her motionless friend.

“Tar” She huffed gently, placing her hands on the girl’s shoulder, scared she would hurt her more. She had her back to the brawl trying to protect Tara from the fights behind them.

Whistles were blowing, the crowd was yelling for the refs to make a call on the play, and Chad tried to navigate through the yelling teams to find the one who had thrown the first punch. Removing her from the situation before she got herself into any more trouble, he grabbed Amber holding her arms as she tried to break free from him.

“You want to make a cheap shot then you better be prepared to take one!” Amber yelled at the girl who had tackled Tara. She flailed in the large boy's arms until he basically threw her to the side placing himself in between her and the fight.

“Stop Amber!” He grabbed her shoulders forcing her to plant her feet. “Tara is hurt, you need to stop” He bargained with her and the anger in her eyes faded into a soft one he was unfamiliar with. She stopped fighting against him and dropped her arms. The severity of what happened drew her back to reality. Tara was hurt.

She rushed back towards Tara who was still lying motionless on the field. Wes held her head still as Mindy tried to wake the girl up.

“Tara!” Amber cried falling to her knees next to her. She brushed the loose strands of hair away from the girl's face.

“Come on T, please wake up.” She smoothed the girl's hair. Mindy noticed the tears in the girl’s eyes that threatened to fall, the way it looked like her world was crumbling around her this was definitely indisputable evidence she thought to herself.

“Tara baby please.” Amber whispered. “Please” Amber wiped a small train of blood from Tara’s nose, clearly from impact with the other girl's elbow when they fell. She was disturbingly still. It was honestly terrifying. Moments later the girl's eyes scrunched and she shifted slowly. Amber and Mindy looked at each other as Mindy moved Wes’ hand from the girl. He mumbled something about head injuries in his “mall cop know it all” fashion and Amber pushed him back further making him lose balance and fall on his ass.

Tara’s eyes shot open and quickly closed just as quickly with a groan. She tried opening them again as she tried to sit up. Amber and Mindy quickly pushed her back down, placing a gentle hand on either side of the girl.

“No Tar you need to lie down” Mindy said.

“What happened?’ Tara groaned as she rubbed her temples and kept her eyes shut, the stadium lights burning them.

“Tara, you took a pretty bad hit during the game, we’re waiting for the ambulance.” Liv spoke up, putting her phone back in her pocket. Amber gave the girl a soft thankful look, one that Liv had never even imagined receiving from her.

“No no, the game. I’ve gotta get to the game.'' Tara shook her head sitting up again, a wave of dizziness taking over. This time Amber grabbed her, pulling her into her lap.

“Tara, you're at the game, you got hurt, everything is going to be okay.” She tried to soothe the girl. Mindy gave her a concerned glance.

Tara didn’t remember. Not even something they said a few moments ago.

Tara couldn’t understand what Amver was saying. All she could hear was static ringing and muffled voices. She heard high-pitched whistles that made her head hurt more, oh yeah- her head hurt, how did that happen? Tara didn’t know what was going on. She could barely see anything with these blinding lights and all she knew was she needed to get to the game. She began to panic.

Amber noticed the unevenness of her chest rising and falling as her breathing became labored and hoarse.

“She’s having an asthma attack.” She met Mindy’s eyes, praying she had the girl’s inhaler as she usually would during a game being neither of the girls could keep it and play. Mindy nodded frantically, patting her pockets.

“MINDY NOW.” She yelled startling everyone around her including Tara. Mindy found the inhaler in her hoodie pocket under her jacket and fumbled trying to hand it to Amber.

“Okay baby girl, let’s breathe.” She said Bringing the inhaler to the girl’s lips, Tara’s hands shakily meeting Amber’s.

“Deep breaths, you’re okay.” Amber rubbed her back trying to relax the girl.

“What do we have?” Was the last thing Tara heard before being ushered to the paramedics and into the back of an ambulance.

…

The next time Tara remembered waking up she was home. In the comfort of her own bed. She sat up to look around, instantly regretting it with the dizziness that consumed her. Once she was able to focus she found she had collected quite the crowd in her room. Mandy, Chad, Liv, and Wes all asleep scattered around the floor of her room.

Her heart sank when she didn’t immediately see Amber. She couldn’t remember exactly what happened but she was sure Amber would’ve been here if everyone else was. She went to get out of bed swinging her legs to the edge of her bed.

“Absolutely not.” She heard that voice. The voice she melted to. To be honest it startled her but she automatically relaxed as she heard it again. “You’re staying in bed.”

Amber sat up in the chair that had been moved from her desk to the side of her bed. Tara turned to her. She could see she had been crying tears trails down her cheeks, and she noticed a bruise forming under her eye.

“Amber what happened.” She harshly whispered trying to get to the taller girl who was on the opposite side of the bed. She slowly reached out to examine the injury before her hand was caught by a bruised one.

“Amber.” Tara whispered softly this time.

“What happened?” She took her hand into her own.

Amber got up from the chair and sat on the bed next to Tara. She thought about her words carefully. She laid back gently pulling Tara into her side and stroking a loose piece of hair behind her ear. Honestly Amber couldn’t even remember what happened. It was like she blacked out on all the details but she knew one thing: “Let’s just say we’re both benched for a month.”

More Daeron HCs!

(I’m all about the brotherly dynamic of Aemond and Daeron!! .)

He’s the complete opposite of his brothers.

Unlike Aemond, Daeron loves tourneys and jousting.

He has deadly golden retriever energy. Joyful and friendly but don’t fuck with him.

He’s like the Rhaenys to Aemond’s Visenya. He’s the most people person brother. This is his greatest strength.

Tall asf for his age. Taller than both of his brothers. He hit a growth spurt at 13 and is now 6ft and he’s still growing.

At 14 Daeron was already unhorsing men twice his size In jousting matches.

One of the most handsome men in Westeros too. Women practically throw themselves at him. He chooses to be completely oblivious to it.

Both Aegon and Aemond envy him. He’s everything Alicent and Otto wanted them to be.

Aemond sees Daeron as someone he could’ve been if he didn’t lose his eye. But Aemond doesn’t hold it against his little brother. He could never. Especially since Daeron looks up to him.

When Daeron did visit his family for holidays, he always makes time to help his sister with her charity work.

His biggest flaw is that he’s a bit too optimistic and honorable. He always tries to see the good in others. A big example of this is when he always gives his brothers the benefit of the doubt.

After the Luke incident, even Alicent lost faith in Aemond. Daeron was the only one there for Aemond emotionally.

Aemond breaks down to Daeron telling him that he didn’t mean to kill his nephew.

Daeron is always there to pull Aemond back from the darkness and encourage him to not be the one eyed monster that Westeros believes him to be.

Daeron: Show them what I see. Show them the kind and compassionate man I know you are Aemond.

Aemond: I wish I could be that man little brother…but I am afraid he died with Lucerys Velaryon…

Daeron basically became the Green’s PR manager. He knew it was important to win over the love of the small folk.

Especially since now Aemond was seen as a kinslayer and Aegon’s reputation was less than savory.

The reason that the small folk loved the Greens was mostly because of Daeron’s actions.

He wrote and encouraged songs to be sung about Queen Helaena’s beauty and Aegon’s strength.

Daeron did a lot of in charity work and frequented orphanages. He’d take orphans on dragon rides on the back of Tesseron.

He always donated leftovers from the castle to be given to the people in flee bottom.

He basically ran the city while Aegon drank and Aemond went to war.

Daeron commissioned to improve Kingslanding’s buildings and put in a hydro powered sewage system.He wanted to redesign the entire city to look like a mix of Old Town and Old Valyria.

He also knew that it was important that the small folk had jobs to keep them busy and paid.

Otto noticed Daeron’s achievements and named him commander of the city watch.

(I like this idea for him it parallels to Jon’s time leading the crows. Everyone underestimates him because he’s young but he proves himself to be a great leader.)

Daeron went to work stomping out the corruption within the city watch. He had Ser Gwayne as his right hand and together they put a end to child pit fighting (much to Aegon’s annoyance). He also targeted the use of children under the age of 13 in brothels making it illegal.

This really pissed Ser Luther Largent the former corrupt City Watch Commander. He was enraged that he was replaced by a teenage boy. So much so, that one day Luther challenged the Daeron to a duel in front of the entire city.

To everyone’s surprise, Daeron won by slashing his Achilles’ tendon. Watching the 7 foot man fall in agonizing pain.

Daeron demonstrated his mercy by allowing Luther to live but stripped of his rank.

It’s not something that he gets right away

He comes to the realization gradually

They’ve been best friends since childhood and he had always thought she was cool and awesome. They share similar interests, laugh at the same jokes, and understood each other the way no one else would, which ultimately led to them being besties.

But then they grew older, and that’s when the feelings began to develop

Ken was 14 when he started feeling a bit off around Barbie. His palms would get sweaty when she gets too close. His stomach started doing somersaults whenever she hugs him.

Aside from bodily reactions, he found himself noticing things about Barbie that he never stopped to think about before

Like how she always smelled like fresh flowers and vanilla beans

how he liked it when she's looking at him with her gorgeous deep blue eyes.

Or how her hair seemed to cascade down her back like a golden waterfall

And that she looks really good in whatever clothes she wear

He catches himself staring at her more times than he could count. And each time, his heart would drum erratically against his chest.

At first, Ken wasn’t sure why. Sure had always found Barbie pretty, but it never really sparked an emotional reaction from him. It was just an honest observation.

His dad teases him that maybe he's harboring a "little crush" on Barbie. Which Ken vehemently denies, because he thinks that notion is "ridiculous" and "not true"

At 15, he kept up with his denial even if his insides are all twisted into knots. He distances himself from Barbie as much as possible, so that he won't have to think about her

but then came the feeling of longing.

Ken misses her when they're not together. There's a dull ache that he can't get rid of the moment she leaves his side.

He unconsciously would take mental notes on what she liked, disliked, loved, hated. From food, to music, to clothes, to the places she wants to travel, and the dreams she had for herself. Everything!

He also starts acting differently around Barbie. He hated when Barbie catches him acting like blundering dork, he had this urgent desire to always impress her or atleast look cool when she's around.

all this and still he was too stubborn to come to his senses

the answer finally dawned on him a year later

It happened when he overhears a few guys from his class talking about Barbie. Openly expressing about how she was the prettiest girl in their whole grade and that it was the perfect time to shoot their shot since she was not dating anybody.

It was the first time Ken seethed.

Barbie gets more beautiful with each passing day, and pretty soon almost all the students in his school wanted her attention.

It shouldn't be a problem for others to compliment Barbie’s looks and want to ask her out. But to him, he just felt sick to his stomach.

He didn't want anyone to be in that sort of relationship with his best friend... NOT. A. CHANCE.

No way he was gonna let that happen because HE wanted to hold her hand! HE wanted to tell her how amazing and beautiful she was! HE wanted to be the one to ask her our on a date—

He stops, eyes wide as the green eyed monster within him finally knocked some sense into his thick head.

All of a sudden, everything made sense

The possesiveness... the jealously... the attentiveness... the actions he can't explain... the flutters he feels in his gut.

This wasn't a measly crush. This was intense and agonizingly passionate.

He saw the girl next door, his best friend in the entire world, in a whole new different light... and Ken realizes... he's inlove with her.

The first time Ken sees Barbie after he knew, his heart soared to the heavens when she smiled at him.

From that moment on, he knew he was doomed to love that girl for the rest of his life.

Ugh as much as I hate it I also love Jealous Beans.

Jon watched as Jorah leaned in to whisper something to her and she then laughed, her hand pressed to his forearm as the older man looked her over. Once her glass was refilled, she gave his arm a slight shake and one last smile before she began walking towards him. He looked down at his glass, trying to keep the green eyed monster at bay, but as he looked up and saw Jorah watching her walk away, it was harder to keep the murderous rage down.

He took a quick swig of his own drink as she came to stand in front of him. "I've been looking for you," she declared, her eyes sparkling in the dim light of the ball room.

"Were you? Looked like you were doing just fine without me."

She tilted her head, her brows drawn down forming that little crease between. Her nose with it's small smattering of freckles wrinkled as she assessed his mood. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing. Everything's great," he muttered and finished off his drink.

"You're a horrid liar." She glanced over her shoulder, then her eyes widened and she looked up at him. "Wait a minute. Are you jealous?"

"No. That's ridiculous?"

She cocked her hip and one hand rested on it as the other held her drink. "Jon."

"Fine. Yes. I'm jealous. I hate Jorah. Like, a visceral want to gouge his eyes out and then use them as ping-pong balls on a bed of spikes."

"That's graphic."

"It is, and it's fuckin' killing me. I hate feeling this way..."

"Jorah's harmless."

"It has less to do with Jorah and more to do with you. I still hate him and want to pop his head like a grape, but I want all of your time and attention and it's frankly frightening."

"Frightening?"

"Yes. I feel like that's something a neanderthal would do or say and I'd like to think I'm above that. Apparently, I'm not, so I'm no better than Joffrey."

"Jon Snow, shut up this instant. You are nothing like Joffrey. First of all, when I met you, you looked me in the eye and didn't stare at my chest. You've never once asked me to 'polish your knob' or tell me that if I wouldn't do that I should go make you a sandwich--"

"He didn't!" he interrupted.

"Oh, he did. And you actually love me and value me as a person and I love and value you as a person. Also, I have to admit that I'm not above feeling jealous either."

"You aren't?"

"Melisandre is handsy with you and I want to rip her arms off at the shoulder and beat her with them."

He looked up at her with a raised brow. "She's handsy?"

"She's always looking for ways to touch you. Honestly, I think she's figured out that it pisses me off so she does it more."

"I think I'll definitely notice now. I'm sorry."

She laughed. "Jon, you have nothing to be apologize. We feel the way we feel. We both hate feeling that way, but we can't help that we do. But I need you to hear me," she said as she placed her drink down on the table and wrapped her arms around his neck. "There is no one that could ever compare to you and the way I feel about you."

He was silent for a moment, then gave a small smile. "I love you, ya know?"

She nodded. "And I love you. But lets get out of here and go remind each other who we've chosen."

He leaned in to kiss her, one hand sliding down to grip her arse before he broke away and led them to the exit.

Whatever ones the brainworms are currently wiggling in. So currently it's ffxiv and ffxvi and a little dash of sso

4. what are your top five fics by kudos?

Breakfast NSFW Stranger Things steddie. Which is actually the sequel to the second most kudosed one but I guess we're all sluts for domesticity.

Monster in the Bed more NSFW Stranger Things steddie. The lines of kudos emails I got from those two were fantastic.

Sunny-weather Snuggles and now for something COMPLETELY different, SFW mlp appledash. I used to have this little tradition, I suppose, of starting a new '30 day otp challenge' for every ship I liked. Don't think I ever finished one though.

Garden Party which is another SFW mlp fic but this time rarijack (I love their dynamic).

Odd Tattoo NSFW wtnv cecilos, god knows why I gave it the mature rating. I actually had this on ff.net initially, it's THAT old. But wtnv is just that popular I guess (for good reason! Night Vale my beloved).

5. do you respond to comments?

I do now after sitting there making flustered noises for a good ten minutes.

6. what is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Funny thing about me, I never remember my fics. Ever. Legit I surprised myself one day discovering a stash of estimeric fics that I just. Don't remember writing. I feel like there was one though. It could be Frozen Wasteland SFW ffxiv which is about the bloody banquet at the end of arr which. Yeah. The saddest part is that I never went anywhere with it because then I started sb and met Lyse and um. Yeah.

7. what's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Starlight Kittens sfw ffxiv Lyseka I think. There are probably happier endings but that's the one that immediately springs to mind.

8. do you get hate on fics?

Sometimes there are weird 'this is so cringe wtf' comments but hey it's not my fault if they don't embrace the cringe.

9. do you write smut? if so, what kind?

I was called sin mother for a time for a REASON okay. All kinds, vanilla, kink, monster, you name it. Very much into a/b/o and monsterfucking but I keep overthinking it and that kills the mood so fast.

10. do you write crossovers? what's the craziest one you've written?

[hides the ffxiv/ffxvi one under the bed] I mean yeah. Craziest one was probablyyyyy the Gotham x SSO one. I can't remember what happened but I remember the crossover.

11. have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not to my knowledge but it's not like I go looking. Wouldn't surprise me if someone had stolen an sso one though, some of those kids man...

12. have you ever had a fic translated?

Again not to my knowledge but I also know that ffxvi is very popular in other languages so honestly I'm waiting for it.

13. have you ever co-written a fic before?

I swear to god I have but I can't find it (unless Jack posted it??? It was years ago though) but I suppose the Wild West AU also counts? Green-eyed Drake's Revenge was the last one (god I miss that era so fucking much I met some of the best people but also the worst but I just really loved being a part of such a big project).

14. what's your all-time favourite ship?

The answer probably would've been easier before I played ffxvi but uhhhh yeah it's Terence/Dion from FFXVI. Which you wouldn't know from my fics for that fandom (I keep getting distracted by other ships) but like. Canon gays. Hello. How can I resist. Ship that makes me go 'eeee' and then think about for a while after I see it.

15. what's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Haha what unfinished WIPs I don't have those scattered everywhere. I would like to actually finish Frozen Wasteland (linked above) someday but there's also a phoenixflareknight fic that I'm slowly pecking away at but it has no real plot or anything so I don't think I'll finish that. And the aforementioned ffxiv/ffxvi crossover.

16. what are your writing strengths?

Making anything look good, baby. Or so I've been told. Sheer determination? Dialogue maybe?

17. what are your writing weaknesses?

"And where is all of this action taking place?" Shrug emoji. Descriptions.

18. thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I think it's fine as long as there's a translation somewhere.

19. first fandom you wrote for?

Sonic. I don't think I published any of them though. It's probably better that way.

20. favourite fic you've written?

There are a few that spring to mind but I associate them with an ex-friend so ew but Lost and Found is the ffxiv/ffxvi crossover fic I do have published where I put my character and her sister and the arr-era Scions into the world of ffxvi. I love it and wish it got more attention but maybe the time's just not right yet, idk.

10. Nightingale is a child of the Shroud through and through. They struggle hard to sleep indoors, and find being cooped up draining of their energy. They'd much rather be out in nature, feeling the flow of the land's aether and attuning to the natural world around them. Though the do have a house in Kugane, they exclusively sleep in their front yard.

22. This varies by the person. Most people will treat them like a skilled and experienced adventurer, and tend to be treated as such when on Guild jobs under the name Sami'a. To their enemies, they are the Green Eyed Demon. A heartless monster who can appear at any time and leave nothing but ash in their wake.

The most extreme reaction they tend to get are from scholars who recognize them as the WoL. Nightingale is barely literate, and shows no interest in improving their reading and writing abilities. As a Keeper who had a traditional upbringing, they value oral traditions much more than the written one. This is a point of mild consternation between them and the Scions, but by now they've come to accept it and take their own notes where they can.

Reading too much into things is fun!

Here's Sir Roderick Glossop:
