If TTS had a full on Halloween episode, how do you think it would go down?

The thing is, I don't think TTS would have ever had an episode with a one-to-one parallel with any of our holidays. After all, their Valentine's Day episode (which aired in August) was about The Day of Hearts, not Valentine's Day, which doesn't exist in the Tangled universe. So I don't think a Halloween episode would have been about Halloween.

People like to say that "The Wrath of Ruthless Ruth" doesn't count, because it's not actually Halloween, but the elements are all there: it aired in October, a dark and stormy night, autumnal iconography like pumpkins and grey skies, poltergeist activity, possession, being trapped in a location, the characters feeling terror and panic, a corporeal ghost... I'm not sure why it doesn't count to so many people when none of our holidays are represented as we literally celebrate them in the entire series.

I’m not sure what’s funnier, the fact that Cap is genuinely hurt that Ruth is mad at him or the fact that he’s so upset that she insulted his mustache.

Where's Eugene in the episode "the wrath of ruthless ruth"?

Not there. He didn't need to be in every episode. (Hell, Rapunzel didn't need to be in every episode, and I think it would have done the plot well to not include her POV once in a while.)

As it is, Eugene only failed to be in two episodes: "The Wrath of Ruthless Ruth" and "A Tale of Two Sisters". Other than Rapunzel, he is the human character with the highest presence per episode. (Pascal has him beat, though, because I think he's in every episode, too.)

You know, that would be another interesting idea: Rapunzel completely alone for an episode, or at least without any of her usual companions. No Pascal or Eugene to talk to, no enemies she's familiar with. But having her have to navigate a situation with absolutely no one there would have given them an opportunity for some real introspection, and also perhaps a bit of trauma (c8), since she hasn't been truly alone ever since Pascal came into her life.

So today is ‘Wrath of Ruthless Ruth’ day, and though I haven’t been keeping up with the countdown as well I should have I’d just like to say that ‘The Wrath of Ruthless Ruth’ is truly the most horrifying episode of ‘Tangled The Series.’ Not in the way it presented, of course, but in what it shows. Ruthless Ruth spent her entire life so afraid of being herself and pursuing her creative dream that she died before she could complete her creation and see it appreciated. Not only that, but her fear literally killed her, and she never finished what she started. She never achieved her dream. But you know, luckily ghosts exist in the Tangled universe, so it all works out in the end.

As someone who’s creative and wants to work on big long projects that take a long time and lot of effort and planning, the idea that I might just... be too scared to finish it and share it or just not have time to... is absolutely terrifying. This sort of stuff keeps me up at night. Much as I adore this episode it sends me into a tiny existential crisis every time I watch it. XD The series in general is so good at just slipping these little mundane terrors into the episodes. Like forget Zhan Tiri’s weird dimension thingy - the real fear is in missing out on your dreams, losing sight of your goals and values, missing out on opportunities, being unable to be heard or seen as who you are, forgetting everything about who you are and where you came from, and also potentially being turned into a bird forever. These things were always way more scary to me then the Big Bad.
