learned something about myself lately

#i dont think its even the fact almost all my characters are somewhat beasts in one way or another. i just #really like tails and wish i had one myself #and then my oc designs are a little tame theyre mostly human shaped with animal features. but they always have tails #my eyes have recently been opened to the appeal of long whiplike unicorn tails.. so flowy and curly #something about the tuft at the end being long and swirly just does something for me..#maybe it would make sense to change auggies tail shape so it looks like a meteor. her design is mainly pink with hot pink accent #so it would be cool to use that and orange to make it look like a fire meteor.. maybe itll help complement the blue/green in her design #head full of ocs today so expect a ramble later #if i had a tail i think it would be long with a kink. so it kind of folds over once but not in a curl #when it wags its kind of a swaying motion. i have thought about this a normal amount #yapping

DAY 3: Day of Devotion!!!

Oughhh I really like this one. Something about Kiran Day of Devotion alt makes me feel things.

This one also comes with some bonus sketches/unfinished wips, because I've actually been playing with the idea of a Kiran and Anna duo alt for a while! Just never refined them into a more complete illustration, you know? But now feels like a good time to share!

#not art #for the record he's a rogue. and he has avoidance problem which I think is pretty much canon lmao he just does it with more flourish #bill and hallariel have not actually seen his face for like years at the point of freshman year despite living in the same house #they communicate through leaving notes around for each others (bill and hallariel vs fabian specifically. bill and hallariel still talk lma #and bill kinda walks around talking out loud so fabian can hear. he and hallariel leave the registrations out on the kitchen counter #for fabian to pick up before freshman year. to be fair to bill he does tick rogue courses for fabian rather than fighter #and also leave him a flintlock pistol along with that #to undo that he comes to jail to yell at fabian when the bad kids get caught. specifically because he wants to rile fabian up #but also a bit because he's mad the first time fabian doesn't escape is from literal jail #(fabian Can break out but he doesn't bc he wouldn't be able to bring his friends with) (I also don't approve this but kid's like 16)#anyways to come back to design I just realized while walking outside today I would love to give fabian cloaks n ponchos #cones. a lot of flowy fabrics. journey style kind of #gotta figure out what a high schooler would actually wear with that general silhouette lol. but thats the direction #and sometimes that really is the most important part. once u got the direction u can start experimenting #exciting! I have a question.... What happened to Sesshomaru and his remaining children after being free from the scroll and after his wife's younger self left to see his younger self? That one was left unanswered... Most of the stories I seen regarding on what Sesshomaru is up to in the modern era was him being some kind of business man.... You know some kind of CEO.... Others was some kind of landlord and many others... But could we see your possible theories and interpretations on what he might do.... I think Towa and Airi would help him adjust as they are more familiar with Modern Technology, traditions, and practices.

Good question! I... have not thought that far ahead, lol.

Definitely not a ceo or businessman, though. He's a demon. That hasn't changed in the several hundred years he's been sealed up. Especially since he's been sealed up for several hundred years. He was basically a warlord by the time Edo was happening and demons started to be eradicated since he was trying to keep himself and his children safe.

Demons are just starting to come out of hiding now, too, so he's probably hanging around the Higurashi and Kururugi Shrines when he's not wandering around slaying potential threats. I don't think he'd care much for modern technology, lol. (He'd definitely glare if Towa or Airi jokingly called him a "Grandpa" because of it) Hikaru might have an interest in it, while Sora would probably try and follow the girls to their classes before realizing they go to separate schools since Towa keeps getting expelled while Airi keeps out of trouble the best she can.

Hinami looks a lot like Akane, though, and it's gonna confuse/hurt the siblings for quite a while until they get used to interacting with her, and even then it's still gonna ache. Maria's gonna be getting so many updates from Older!Sess about how Irene lived after returning to the Feudal Era. Although... he might leave out the bit about Irene being cursed. Not even he would wish to risk the wrath of his sister-in-law for not being able to keep the curse from happening.

Sesshomaru is gonna hate seeing older!Koga though. Koga had the self preservation instincts to blend in with human society, but Sesshomaru... oof. Koga is just gonna remind him of Inuyasha, lol.

Here's a sketch idea of Irene when she first gets cursed and Sess' full outfit when he's hunting down Mayonaka after Irene is put to sleep on the mountain.
