Sandtrap Flat makeover. I used a lot of @kiwisim4 and @surely-sims Once I do the back yard I'll share it.

Sandtrap Flat fits on any 30x20 Lot (plants are native to desert worlds though) CC is included but I suggest you sort it using either Tray Importer or SFS. Some sets are merged. However only one or two clutter/deco items from merged sets. Little Dica cafe set I used trim on the house you can replace it with basegame. Harrie set I used a tote bag.

Without sorting file is 17 GB. Just so you know.

backstory

amari grew up in san myshuno to a loving but traditional family; they didn't have much when she was a child, especially splitting everything among five kids, but taught her the value of hard work and family. her parents weren't too pleased when she shared her dream of becoming a model, but with her personality, dissuading her from it was easier said than done. nothing could distract her from work, especially when she was booking shoot after shoot and walking runway after runway.... until she got involved with the "wrong guy" in her words, and had two beautiful children. long story short, she found out about him cheating when her kids were five and three, and he subsequently got the boot (she should've known better when he was also a model and named dylan, but we all make mistakes). since then, she's moved to tartosa with her aging mother after her father passed, focusing on her children and wedding photography business. now that her kids are getting a little older though, she's interested in re-centering on herself... and finding love again!

O.P.S (other peoples sims) - The Blackburns

I finally got around to taking some pics in CAS of my remake of the Blackburn family by @therichantsim. I'm sure some of you may recognize the name if you've been keeping up with her Becoming Mrs Blackburn 2 BC challenge or have been reading her legacy. I aged down Q and Trin to teens in my game so not as big an age gap between the kiddos.

grew up in her mamí's kitchen in del sol valley. has always dreamed of having her own restaurant and has a LEVEL 7 in cooking as a result.

an only child, but always wanted siblings desperately.

had her daughter raven at the beginning of her sophomore year in college and lost her to meningitis in her senior year. will be mean to you if you ask her when she's having kids (you'd be surprised how many people think it's an appropriate question, whether they know about raven or not).

won't hesitate to exercise her LEVEL 5 parenting skill on your kids if you don't keep them in line but she always defaults to hugging it out first because...to be honest, she probably likes your kids more than you.

stopped wearing earrings when raven was an infant because of grabby baby hands, and it's the only thing she's never been able to pick back up in the many years since.

recently picked up yoga, but is only at LEVEL 3.

is a drink your water girlie.

owes her LEVEL 5 baking skill entirely to the fact that she uses baking to help her think.

will pick a pattern over a plain swatch any day.

was signed up for this by her mother, who kinda thought it was a cooking competition until halfway through the application. she blames her friend from the salon who called it "that burn challenge, or something." when she sent suggested she sign noemy up.

has friends, but will cancel plans with most of them to stay home and play cards with her mom and her friends.

This wedding has been one of the most anticipated events of the simmerverse and you did not come to play games. Even the moments leading up to it were good. You are such a great storyteller and I have throughly enjoyed this journey of Mel and Nick getting hitched. The pictures were beautiful and everyone looked amazing. There were so many good parts but if I had to pick, you already know which ones were my favorite. I can’t wait to see them on their honeymoon and then living in their new home in the Pinnacles. I’m sure BBN will be stalking the newlyweds hard now. 😂😂

I’m curious what your cc folder looks like. In your build buy folder can you list 20 creators? If so who? Do you ever purge old build buy cc? Is there one particular creator you always look for updates on new cc? What’s your absolute favorite type of build buy cc ie: plants, books, sculptures, kitchen clutter, wall art etc. last question… are you maxis match or mix and do you have any alpha items you can not live without? If you’re more of a CAS junkie than a builder/decorator just replace the build buy question with CAS. Feel free to do both.

In my build/buy folder? I probably can't, I do use a fair bit of build/buy cc but most of it is peacemaker stuff to be honest lol. I'm terrible with clearing out my BB folder, it's kind of a mess! Same with CAS, even though I have significantly more CAS stuff. I'll answer for both categories!

I'm ALWAYS checking for nucrest's cc, they're probably my favorite creator 💖 all of my lovely mutuals who make cc honestly! For build/buy, peacemaker-ic is a staple, also jools-simming, and you CAN'T forget budgie2budgie who is my favorite for clutter!

my FAVORITE type of build/buy cc is wall hangings/paintings. MY BELOVED. I could not live without all of my awesome wall deco! For CAS, I live in the accessory/skin detail category 😂

I'm a strong maxis mix at this point, which is kind of neat because I never thought I'd stray from maxis match. I'm really liking alpha style eyes and skin details! I even have a couple alpha dresses that were too cute to not dl. will never ever do alpha hair or furniture though!

Amari's girls sending love from afar! Decided I'd actually make them and their dad in game and use the genetics feature for once, but they both ended up with Amari's same lips regardless ha. Also, making preteens/tweens in this game is hard af but I'll pretend Maria is just a weed lol. They're not technically allowed to watch the show, but of course you know Prisha does anyway, and Maria gets select clips from their grandma. They'll always support their mom... but Prisha personally thinks she should cause more drama 😂 @therichantsim

Sid is the daughter of a Puerto Rican mother and a Haitian father, who also happened to be one of the biggest Gang leaders in the last 20 years. That was until his family was targeted leaving Sid's older sister dead and her face permanently altered after a car bombing. Her father is in WITSEC and she hasn't seen him in since she was 5 years old. Sid and her mom have moved around over the years in an attempt to distance themselves from the life. Her familys past has been kept a secret from the world and hopefully that skeleton will remain deep in her closet. Both Her and her Mom currently are living in San Myshuno in the spice district. Sid is a self taught musician and can play piano and guitar in addition to sing. Sid sings at several of the local clubs in SanMy several times a week and has headlined the last 3 years at the local festivals. Family is big to Sid considering her background and secretly hopes one day her father will be back in their lives. Like her dad she is a creative genius but has a quick temper luckily, well at least for the most part Sid has found a way to channel that energy into her music. But something is missing, Sid wants what her parents had, and so now she is looking to love someone just as much as her music.

here's already 17. I have a lot of "one cc from creator", especially during Simblreen season and, as you can see, I can't find their proper blog (so sorry T_T) for most of them. I REALLY should clean and organize that mod folder one day ...

Do you ever purge ?

Well, nope but I should. I do it only when I found out that a creator is manipulating us and its files infected of viruses and all, I delete everything from a creator like these.

Is there one particular creator you always look for updates on the new cc ?

Sadly, not for buy/builds as I tend to not follow those kind of creators anymore. I still follow some of them but rarely download new buy/build because soooo many items I have/had and used, don't work after some update and it's sometimes never updated or it's super hard to find the original blog you got the cc from the first place

I do download most of @cross-design, @anvilesi, @wirefiish and @aroundthesims because it's pure quality and most of the time, super hyper usefull for stories :)

I do have some favourites creators I download everything from but it's mostly CAS thing.

Favourite kind of items ?

I really love plants and clutters of any kind, everything that can help me create the specific room I need for a specific character/scene. You people create so many amazing items everytime it's really hard to choose a favourite. Books, DVD and everything that add some realism and real life best sellers are also always welcome. As I said above, I tend to not download anything else otherwise it could break fast after using it for a major scene and there's nothing worst to redecorate a room you spent hours on because the cc you used broke ^^" At least with clutters and plants, it's just a detail I can easily switch most of the time.

Alpha, Maxis Mix or Maxis Match ?

I'm mostly Maxis Match when I play but I have a lot of alpha items I cherrish because they're super detailed and look awesome in stories.

Favourite alpha items ?

There's a lot ^^ It's mostly clutters that specifically fit some characters or situations. For instance I have some guns that fit William, Destiny's dad. For Destiny it's the suitcase full of spikes, for Leïla it's an old magical book, Hiro as a manga statue in his room, Renji's coffin ... I've also planned to turn some CAS items into clutter/accessories because I will need some specific ones for DH3 ...
