Happy Art Monday!

This month, I'm working on a special piece, and even though there's not much to see for now, I'm excited to share the raw vector line-art as a work in progress. The drawing features a variety of ships, each with unique sails, representing different parts of the world.

I wish I could draw more boats and sails, but my canvas is already 3000x10000 pixels, and I don't want my computer to burst into flames! 😨

Some of these boats will eventually become stickers on my Ko-fi shop, so stay tuned for more updates!

why do i keep seeing whole videos on advice for artfight from “veterans” or whatever. here’s all the advice you need:

you don’t need to draw every day

you don’t need to fully render every drawing, sketches still count and the person receiving it will still love it

you don’t need a fully polished ref sheet for every single character, having a basic one or even just a colour palette along with whatever other art you’ve done works fine in most cases

you don’t need to draw a fully rendered piece every single day do not burn yourself out or injure yourself for funny little internet points good lord

Blog Vibe of the Month For August - The Head of Orpheus.

Currently working on a short story inspired by the death of Orpheus about a young, down on his luck musician who meets on old god in an art museum, where they discuss a strange painting... and the aftermath of that conversation. It’s a bit spooky, a lot gory, and extremely inspired by Greek Mythology and the surviving Orphic hymns.

Episode 7: Beignets!

I rewatched S2E2 of Helluva Boss ("Seeing Stars") and got hit with that BANGER of a line from Loona about dads having issues and messing up all the time but still caring. VIVZIE, I am sensing a THEMEEEEEEE.
