Tl;dr danny has a twitter page where he invisibly follows the bats and documents their funny mistakes like a nature documentary.

One day a Gothamite spots a new twitter page on their feed. Its not got a lot of posts, but they're all pictures. And the first one is... Nightwing. Lying on the concrete, face-down, with another bat or bird very obviously laughing at him.

They think nothing of it. They compliment the photoshop for its realism, and move on. Except there's more pictures. All of them, every last one of them, has the Bats and Birds suffering from a trip, fall, a gaffe, a misstep, anything and everything.

And then they find a video

Its clearly a handheld or phone camera, pointed at Robin in an alleyway. Someone starts talking, in a very poor attempt at sounding like David Attenborough, narrating like a wildlife documentary. He is not aware of the level of Bat Paranoia this brings out.

Bought my partner a thermal printer for Christmas to make stickers and print receipts and whatever; we immediately both thought: gameboy printer.

It looks even a little like a modern version of the gameboy printer. If I knew where mine was I’d pull it out for comparison, but anyway.

I decided the best way to bring this whole thing together was to actually take some pictures with gameboy camera and print them, so that’s what I did.

Emulating gameboy camera on my 3DS was extremely simple, and using some handy homebrew ftp software I could wirelessly transfer files over to my phone where the new printer connects over bluetooth. It’s essentially the gameboy link cable but with extra steps.

So now I have these photos from gameboy camera, all I had to do was pass it to the printer. Let me tell you, the feeling of absolute joy we shared at having printed a picture we took with gameboy camera for the first time in probably 20 years? That was just 👌

Japan's Moon lander has survived the harsh lunar night, the sunless and freezing equivalent to two Earth weeks.

"Last night, a command was sent to #SLIM and a response received," national space agency Jaxa said on X.

The craft was put into sleep mode after an awkward landing in January left its solar panels facing the wrong way and unable to generate power.

A change in sunlight direction later allowed it to send pictures back but it shut down again as lunar night fell.

JAXA said at the time that Slim (Smart Lander for Investigating Moon) was not designed for the harsh lunar nights.
