there's something I do about once a week over on my other art blog, where I write a bit about whatever I'm working on, and I thought I'd start doing something like that over here!

that knight-priest illustration took off way further than I thought it would! it was actually a test run for a short comic idea I had been fucking around with: a disgraced lord who killed his brother and becomes a knight as a form of penance and ends up falling in love with a franciscan.

and underneath that notebook is the notebook I've been writing bad governance in. it is. ohh. the edits are many. I forgot to keep track of the election cycles, which is a huge oversight, since many of the characters are politicians.

mina's a solo artist before anything (though she does love a good collab, whether it's sharing vocals or writing or both), but she does have a side project with three of her best friends called black cherry. they have an ep out with a few songs and intend to do a couple live shows here and there and maybe write a bit more if they get the chance, but it is entirely just a fun outlet to write with friends and make some silly songs together. none of them consider it their main focus, though it is very special to them, and a lot of her fanbase doesn't even know it exists.

He’s sitting at his desk in his shop, grin lighting up his face like usual, but it seems a little more genuine than normal. The Christmas wreath Eileen gave him is still gently placed on top of his head, like some sort of festive halo, and he’s swapped out his usual black jacket with the maroon one she gave him last year, in a different timeline where he didn’t go crazy.

Maybe it’s because it’s made of real, normal clothing fabric and not scratchy doll material, but it feels…insulated. Warm. Like her love is encircling him, even in this cold, dark part of town.

There’s a soft hum of white noise coming from his throat, as if the very idea of a Christmas decoration being close to him is on the cusp of making his voice go haywire, but even if it did, he doesn’t know how much he would fight it.

He’s genuinely feeling a little festive. A feeling he hasn’t felt in decades. And it’s all thanks to his Angel.

Im like,,, so tired. All of the time. I've already bithered my friends more than my once a month quota so I feel bad dragging them down with me and taking time out of their day to pity me TwT. I just don't know how to make it better and after the 3rd hysteria episode thing in the span of 8 days I'm, just. Kinda done man. I wanna check out and sleep for a bazillion years. Tonight especially has been just rough, blegh.
