Understanding Stolas is easy, it's expected. Understanding Blitz is horrifying and makes you sad. Understanding both makes you want to dropkick both of them while screaming "FUCKING COMMUNICATE"

Vince, Rody and Manon are the perfect example of a genuine harrowing tragic love triangle probably my favorite instances in current media where absolutely nobody ends up happy.
Rody chases after Manon, while she chases after vince and he chases after Rody, In each of the endings none of them end up fulfilled they don’t gain a single thing they strive for. they’re all so tragic and none of them end up happy i just want them to be happy poor guys :(

In "Too Young" when Princess Bubblegum talked about how she "never get to act like a kid" and how she wishes she "could stay like this with you, but..." I started crying. This poor girl grew up in the harsh world of early Ooo, she spawned from a living wad of gum and built a house for her brother, she tried to have a family but they betrayed her and she internalized that as "ignorance is bliss." Because shes intelligent, and she's sure not happy, and they were intelligent, and they weren't happy either, atleast Neddy is happy when he's just sucking on those roots and blissfully unaware of his surrondings. Homegirl didn't have any childhood at all, even Marceline had a more carefree childhood when she was with Simon, and she grew up in the literal apocalypse with three parental abandonments. Simon kept her entertained and cared for her, but PB was protecting Neddy and scavenging for resources, on her own, just to stay alive, her entire childhood. God. People dont talk enough about how tragic her childhood was, I feel freaking awful.

tim always asks kon about the stars. not cassie who would know many of their myths, but kon. He drags him out onto the roof of the tower and asks him what its like to touch the stars. and kon, well he had never touched a star but he could laugh and tell his robin about the joys of flying higher than any plane could. he would crack a few jokes about the robin all things asking him what it's like to take off into the skies. tim always looked at him with this look, even with all their years of knowing each other, he could never describe. one day tim had admitted he was worried that kon would leave them for the stars that twinkled above them in a place tim could not reach. kon had simply laughed again and told him that even if he did leave, he would always come back. (he did not promise, because he was made to be a hero and well hero's don't always come back)

I feel like everybody overestimates Gojo's love for other characters but underestimates his love for Suguru.

I’m still holding out some hope for like the rat grinders even surviving, but I do find it interesting how the more we learn about the rat grinders situation while there was Zac’s “they hate us cause they ain’t us” comment, the PCS seem to like be on the level that many are of, even if they are shitty it’s still coercion involved. Like I don’t think they got klck name wrong even for a joke not even Siobhan
I think back to some of the behind the scenes stuff for Fantasy High Sophomore Year (for the life of me I can't remember which one, I think they talked about it during the Crown of Candy Adventuring Parties?), where Siobhan said she didn't know going in that Aelwyn was going to be redeemable and that it was a combination Aelwyn putting in the effort and Adaine latching on to it that made it possible. I vaguely remember her saying that she actually entirely expected to kill her, and the redemption was a welcome surprise.
If I had to guess, I think that's where the Bad Kids (and the Intrepid Heroes by proxy) are at regarding the Rat Grinders. Aelwyn and Ragh are the closest idea we have to what redemption of these teenage villains would look like, both with the Bad Kids having the understanding that they were manipulated and/or coerced by the authority figures in their life to do great acts of evil. Even then, there's still a world where the Bad Kids decide not to revive Ragh on the bloodrush field! There's still a world where, just as Siobhan expected, Aelwyn dies and there is no redemption for her.
I think what's key here is the Bad Kids tend towards being empathetic and will generally try to offer help where it is wanted, but it relies on the other party being willing to receive that help. If the Rat Grinders are too embroiled in their own rage, too deep in the sunk cost fallacy, then there's nothing for the Bad Kids to latch on to.
I really, genuinely hope the Bad Kids are able to reach out to Rat Grinders and steer them away from the path of destruction. But whether the Rat Grinders are willing to hear it, and from the people they hate most in the world, is up in the air.
