• little women -> i loved ittt. i have yet to read the other books in the series though (theres little women, good wives, little men, jo's boys). the movie (by greta gerwig) is one of my favourite movies ever so i have an attachment to the story. i recommend watching the movie first if you haven't already bc i honestly preferred it more, but the book is also incredible and sweet and the writing is great and it made me cry and learn to be a better person

• great expectations

• the picture of dorian gray -> ooh this one was one of my first ever classics, i think after children's classics and the catcher in the rye. i loved it alot. the descriptions are so beautiful and the premise is so interesting and agsbj i'm just so obsessed with the way oscar wilde writes !! actually i've heard people say that this is a good place to start for classics, but i'm not really so sure about that. i think this definitely is a staple in classic literature, but i recommend saving this as your 2nd or 3rd classic read so you're more used to the eloquent writing style of classics and you can fully appreciate the picture of dorian gray in all its glory :)

•alice in wonderland -> oh i loved this sm. i love alice in wonderland in general, more specifically the tim burton version. i think this is a good place to start, since i know you like alice in wonderland so you're already attached to the story and therefore will most likely enjoy it alot. the sarcasm and wit in this book is really enjoyable and fun, i finished this one really fast back in primary school :)

• frankenstein -> i finished this recently ! it's so great, i love frankenstein so much. though, it did seem like nothing much was happening so just beware that even tho its labelled as horror, it's more... thoughtful? it's really nothing like frankenstein in popular media, though i think that's part of its charn actually

• emma -> i've read 2 chapters of this. i'm planning on actually sitting down and finishing this next week or so! i recommend the movie with anya taylor joy if you're hesitant about reading it, bc the movie was really good :)

• pride and prejudice -> if you want to get into jane austen, this is probably the place to start. she's a really amazing writer and the way she creates characters and character relationships is so amazing i was really impressed by this book ! tho i gotta say i dont feel any particular attachment to it and im not exactly in a hurry to pick up her other books. like her writing is really good but im just not really into high society and period romance drama. i still recommend this though since it is a good classic and a staple to the genre.

• the secret history -> ooh this one isnt exactly a classic but definitely does deserve to be. I LOVE THE SECRET HISTORY SO SO MUCHHHH. i've reread this book like nearly 3 times. donna tartt's writing is so phenomenal and the characters are all so interesting, i can't wait for you to read this! though, one con is that it is reallyyy long and ik that its not uncommon for people to get sick of how the story drags on :( so i recommend making sure that you're fully hyped to read this cus i'd hate for you to drop it half way since its so brilliant i promise. pay attention to the way she writes scenes and characters and just anything ever because its just so well doneee.

• the great gatsby -> i have this and i'm thinking of reading it next actually !! im just letting myself process frankenstein and go back to read the frankenstein introduction before moving onto this :) i've heard that it's grand and gives old money but thats all i can say

i recommend starting with alice in wonderland and then going to the picture of dorian gray or pride and prejudice :)

ah also my favourite subgenre in classic literature is horror (they tend to not be scary at all and more thoughtsy) or japanese (osamu dazai is all ive read but im really interested in reading more japanese authors)

russian literature is also cool, though ive only read crime and punishment by dostoyevsky. i really want to read notes from underground or white nights or dead souls by nikolai gogol next agsbdj

if you're looking to get into it then probably white nights is the best since many people say its the best and also its really short compared to c&p. im not an expert tho so honestly you do you

also if you enjoy frankenstein and the picture of dorian gray then i REALLY reccomend the case of dr jelyll and mr hyde because its so short but sooo good

as for reading tips, i reccomend taking breaks and not pushing yourself cus then you'll find the experience tedious. also dont be intimidated because reading classics is like reading any other book except the writing style is super eloquent. read whatever subgenre of classic you enjoy and dont force yourself to read others if you arent interested :)

Alright, so I have already done this for Roger and for Brian with their respective so’s.

But since you wanna know about their families I will do it again and it might be a bit different (cause I want to make it that way): 

ROGER: 

You getting together with Rog was a big deal only in your heads, Roger was concerned because he had ended things with Sarina after meeting you and it was no secret among his children that you two had great chemistry - Lola went as far as to point out to her sisters and brothers that you did not even need money or attention, so your relationship with their father could not be something out of interest. 

When you and Roger finally happened it was a bit chaotic, you had not intended on going fast with him, the two of you tried to keep things on the down low and you would never be each other’s date at events - even if you were attending the same party. It was difficult for you to let people know you were together because of the age gap and the fact that Roger did divorce his wife because of you - Sarina was not happy to be pushed away by a man she trusted and loved so much, although since they did not have children together it was somewhat an easier separation for the drummer from his previous ones. For his children, it was too, even though the British press had the time of their lives destroying you on the regular, Roger’s kids were supportive of their father no matter what. Which meant that they had your back.

It was great having this kind of support, and since you worked on PR you would always lend them a hand where needed, of course, Roger loved to see how you had a more normal job and still remained relatable to his kids. Especially helping out Rufus and Lily with their social media accounts. 

It took you about three months to be living together and after that only a year to be married. Undoubtedly, you were going at quite fast, not wanting to spend any time, you got to know each other to perfection, Roger taught you about cars and music, he challenged you intellectually, which most people would not know: he was well informed of the political issues worldwide and you sometimes found yourself having arguments about something you read on the newspaper earlier. 

Having children was not exactly on the plans, you did not intend on getting pregnant during your second year together...this scared you as much as telling his children about the relationship had scared you before, with the difference that now Roger seemed to go pale at the sound of the words that came out of your mouth. 

“Pregnant!” Roger’s eyes were blown wide as he stared at you, half-hoping it was a joke. 

“Due in March, love!” You tried to give him an honest smile, but it did not reach the corners of your eyes as it should have. 

The thing was, this baby was not planned...still, Roger was not mad, how could he be? You were young, smart and gorgeous! But most of all, you were scared - he could tell. Roger was scared too, but at least he had already taken care of his other children, he knew how to do to at least half-ass the parenthood thing. You did not. Then came the topic of the press. God, they would judge him so badly for having a child at his age... and what about his grown-up children? 

Rufus was pissed. Not pissed at you, he was simply mad knowing that Roger told him last. The first to hear the news was Rory because Roger needed to vent to someone, this happened to be his eldest daughter, who listened and then shot her father back with a simple “so what?” She showed her father support and comfort, encouraging him by telling him what a great father he had always been, even through his separations all of his children always knew that things would be alright because Roger remained close to all of them, never leaving them and never turning his back on them. Rog felt a lot better, which translated into you feeling a lot less scared since your husband was so positive and supportive. When you decided on telling his children about your pregnancy half of them already knew, and they were all happy for their father, enthused by the thought of a new family member to have fun with in the future. 

BRIAN:

THE WORLD WAS COMING TO AN END THE DAY BRIAN AND ANITA SPLIT UP. Anita was simply not into Brian’s self-doubt, she was old, yeah...but she was also so full of energy! She just wanted to keep performing and her husband obviously craved for his wife to be home with him when the days were rough and the nights rough. So, yeah...Brian was left single again. And the man does not know how to be alone, he is bad at it. He needs someone to rely on, someone to share his busy thoughts with and someone to listen to when he is being too stubborn to make sense of anything but his own patronizing ideas. 

Lucky for Brian, you were in town. You met at the studio while he was working on the guitar version of 20th Century Fox Fanfare, he was on the studio for not too long but while he was there you were told to remain in the mixing booth in case the musician needed anything. Of course, working the job of an assistant was not what you intended for when you took the internship at Universal Music, but it paid some money you needed and it also got you a chance at learning a little bit more about music production. 

Brian was a gentle giant, you learnt that first time you met, and while you did not expect much more than that first time meeting you were pleased to see him again after the highly publicized separation from his wife. You did not intend on being flirty, though Brian was no twelve-year-old boy and he caught on to your hair flipping and nervous laughter. He took his chance as he saw it approach with every step he took towards the exit door at Universal, and you were pleased to hear him say he would love to have you drink tea with him sometime. The rest was history. 

You became an item, although not too fast as Roger had done with his girlfriend... no, no, no. You went at it slow and methodically, as one would do when one follows the scientific method. 

Observation. You were possibly opposites in many areas, personality wise the two of you got along, curious and creative, you hated to be proved wrong but loved to hear good reasoning. You had scientific training too, but you pursued a different career path than originally intended. With a degree in Chemistry, you were a good rival to Brian’s rhetoric. 

Hypothesis. Brian was falling in love with you at the same exact rate you were falling for him, even as you probably should not you would always try to follow him in his adventures into the farms when he worked on his environmental projects. Saving badgers was nothing that concerned you too badly, but you took interest in it after watching Brian and Anne take care of a couple of them. Animals seemed to become something you loved. 

Experiment. Telling his children about you. Uh...that was one of the ugliest diners you have ever attended. There was yelling, there was crying and sadly some of it came from you too. His daughters were not having it when you told them about your relationship, and it got worse when Ruth saw the ring already lying on your finger. 

Things were tense with his children for the whole of six months while you planned your wedding, the only moment when it softened was after the actual event when it was more than clear to everyone around that your and Brian were meant to be, each of you giving equally dorky and adorable speeches at the beginning of the reception.

It was also hard for Brian’s kids to come to grips with the fact that they were going to have a little half-brother or sister soon once you announced your pregnancy plans to them. Brian was aware that you wanted children from the moment you got together, and who was he to keep you from having them? Of course, compromises were made and you agreed on having a single baby together was only for the best. Ruth, Jimmy, and Louisa were reluctant to accept this new addition to their family, but once your baby boy was born, the storm seemed to clear off. The May children were astounded at the sight of the little man, all of them looking incredulous as the baby shared a huge resemblance to Brian - therefore to them. 

“Is that a curl?” Ruth wondered, glancing down at her own curls while Brian laughed. 

Of course, the boy had the darkest scarce hair on his head, but there did seem to be some waves already twisting whatever few hairs there were...

I ALMOST MET HER Disclaimer, it's a very long story guys, it contains a lot of emotions, regret, happiness and sadness in just one post. 15th of October, 2017 One of my mutuals on twitter, changed her name to "Taylor Nation" and sent me a confidential DM (msg usually sent by Taylor Nation to all deserving swifties who got luckily invited to Taylor's secret session") I really thought it was frickin real and i even sent her my complete address and legit included "PHILIPPINES" on it. Little did i know, she was just playing around and messing with my feelings (but she is my friend tho, and i cant hate her cause she's one my fave mutuals ever) but damn guys, it really wrecked my whole damn life, i thought Taylor wants to me too 😔 i thought Taylor knows my name and how i look like. And after few hours, i was able to get my composure back and already accepted the fact that I WILL NEVER EVER MEET Taylor Alison Swift. I've been a twitter stan for a very long period of time, and always complain on how Tay put so much attention on tumblr swifties, and never appreciates twitter swifties (sorry) and since using tumblr confuses me a lot, i decided to stay on twitter and use it as my major fangirling tool lol Then lately, Taylor has been joining instagram live of some lucky swifties, so i tried my luck on IG again and made myself look like an idiot by going on IG live just to get Taylor's attention, but after 3 attempts of trying, I gave up. Then last Wednesday, 18th of October, 2017 ONE DIRECT MESSAGE ALMOST CHANGED MY WHOLE LIFE. At around 11:54AM, i got a notification again from Taylor Nation, saying "CONFIDENTIAL MESSAGE" damn babe, it's just so funny how i literally ignored it for a min bc i think someone is trying to make fun of me again, but SHIT JUST GOT REAL!!!!! GUYS!!!! I clicked on the account, and yeah, confirmed! TAYLOR NATION JUST SENT ME A DM!!!! It took a while for me to absorb everything and reply on their dm cause I was literally shaking, crying and screaming the whole frickin time bc it was frickin real and no longer a prank. I even woke all my relatives up and they thought that something bad happened to me lol and yeah it took me 4 frickin mins to send all the personal info that they need from me. And you know the drill guys, cause once Taylor Nation sends that so called "CONFIDENTIAL MESSAGE" you already know what will happen next, *internally screaming* "SECRET SESSION" babyyyyy!!!! And after getting their DM, i was so happy, it felt like I was in cloud 9! Ive never felt that genuine happiness before, added to the fact that i was also completely unstable, i wanna scream and tell the whole wide world that I am so close to meeting Taylor Swift but I cant. So i just spent the whole night and day waiting for their reply and thinking of happy memories that I am soon gonna be making with Taylor. Then Thursday morning, 19th of October 2017. My phone rings, it was a very unfamiliar yet too familiar, international number! My heart beats faster and my voice starts to tremble as I answer and say hello to the happy girl on the other line! "Heyyy Camila, ohmygod, it feels so nice to finally be able talk to you, wow" OHMYFUCKING GOD !!! THE SINCERITY AND HAPPINESS ON HER VOICE WERE SURREAL I AM TALKING TO TAYLOR NATION ON THE THE OTHER LINE She keeps on saying WOW lol so i finally said, "Hi, are you Taylor Nation? And ohhh, I'm not Camila, it's actually Cristina" (LOL GUYS, I'VE BEEN USING CAMILA'S NAME ON TWITTER FOR SO LONG, I THINK THEY THOUGHT THAT IT WAS MY PET NAME OR WHATEVER) so that's how our conversation started, she also introduced herself and i was so stupid for not remembering her name for being too hyped. All i remember was these lines "TAYLOR IS INVITING YOU TO A VERY SPECIAL AND EXCLUSIVE EVENT" "IM TELLING YOU THAT THIS IS A BIG OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU TO FINALLY MEET HER" FUCK FUCK FUCK TAYLOR WANTS TO MEET ME TAYLOR KNOWS ME TAYLOR IS NOT IGNORING ME AND ALL THIS TIME, TAYLOR HAS BEEN STALKING ME AM I DREAMING? Then, i caught myself off guard when she said "I know it will really take a long journey for you, knowing that you're from the Philippines, but are you willing to take it?" I said YES (cause bitch i love taylor so much and of course ill do anything to meet her) So i asked her, "when and where" And she said "It's actually this coming Sunday in Los Angeles, can you make it?" The happy tone of her voice was still there OKAY, GUYS IM DONE MY LIFE IS RUINED I AM A TOTAL MESS "I DONT HAVE A PASSPORT AND VISA" How can I make it in L.A in three motherfucking days? I AM SO DEVASTATED So thereeeeee, she was explaining a lot of things and the only thing i could recall was "looks like you're not going to make it" and i can hear the sudden regret and sadness in her voice. I AM SO SAD. FROM BEING IN CLOUD 9 TO GODDAMN HELL REAL QUICK But before we end our conversation, i asked her one last question. "HOW DID YOU GUYS FIND ME?" I hear her laugh on the other line before she answers me "We have our own ways, we have our eyes, and we've been monitoring you for a very long time, you're such a great fan, and we love how you show your love ans support on Tay even when she's on break and especially during her TRIAL, and i really love your account" OMG WHAT TRIAL? YOU MEAN HER CASE? SO ARE THEY REALLY STALKING ME IS TAYLOR REALLY STALKING ME DID TAYLOR ALSO HANDPICK ME? THE THOUGHT OF TAYLOR STALKING ME WITHOUT ME KNOWING SOMEHOW CHANGED EVERYTHING. SHE KNOWS MY EXISTENCE. IT MADE ME FEEL BETTER I LOVE HER SO MUCH AND IT HURTS I HATE MYSELF FOR LOSING THE BIGGEST OPPORTUNITY OF MY LIFE I AM FOREVER CARRYING THIS BURDEN Also the pictures, I've been creating in my head, of me happily spending the best time of my life with Taylor in her apartment in LA, with Meredith and Olivia, was G O N E. Like G-O-N-E. GONE in just like that. My world literally crashed after the phone convo that I had with TN, it changed my whole perspective in life and also as a swiftie, i thought that I will never ever get this chance. I even told myself that if Taylor would ever invite me to her Secret Session, i would legit do anything just to be there with her. But what the fuck did just happen? I'm almost there! I've been waiting since forever. It was already Taylor who's inviting me and I just put her down 😔 This is the worst thing that could ever happen to a huge and dedicated swiftie like me. My family and friends used to say that "your time will come" and i guess that's it. That's how it works, that's how I lost the chance. The opportunity was already there, but the timing wasn't right. Ive been keeping this sadness all alone cause i made a promise to Taylor and TN to keep it until the LA Secret Session was over. And yeah, btw to all my fellow swifties who hasn't been noticed by Tay yet, don't lose hope. And this is how my morning starts, screams and panic everywhere..well I am used to it by now!.

Btw just so you know it was my mum screaming, we will get to her later (in case you got the wrong impression, she's really good!) *time skip* I was,  as usual, the first one to enter the classroom.every year the same old story!..my bus arrives early to pick me up, I need to get up early I need to dress up, do my curly, unmanageable hair, I need to look at least fine!..at night i am always oh-so-tired but in  the end  always end up staying up  because god knows what happens to my freakin' sleep as soon as I enter my bedroom!.. I was waiting for any of my classmates to enter. and there it goes "hello Lara what up!?" greeted a girl with average height, mind you she is one of the foulest girls in our class.lucky that I am on her good side! her name's sapt.. btw.i was kinda best friends with her in my 6th grade..she does a hell of a back-biting!..and god the bragging power!..how can someone brag that much!! though she likes me, I don't like her much she just insults my friends and tries to steal me away from them all because I like Justin Bieber like her(yup babes I am a belieber) "nothing much just hanging around getting used to less sunlight and more of dust!..you remember how our last class used to look! it was awesome man!" okay so we- that is me, Iomhara, the olive girl-her names tani and a girl with ivory complexion and normal body type-shes aki are called the GOSSIP QUEENS, a bit fancy i know but we dont really gossip that  much..yeah its fun i know!..but not my whole group enjoys doing that all the time!.. Iomhara and me are the closest! and tani and aki prefer each other, though all of us get along well. Iomhara is the single one hardly having any love interest and hardly drooling over anyone.(thats a lie..she makes it seems like she's all single types..but she fantasises the most! and believes in the phrase 'everyone is beautiful, it just depends on how you look at the person') Aki is kinda like Iomhara but she's got celebrity crushes. Tani was involved with someone in 7th grade..but now shes more like nuetral and me?..i am open for the right being! so yeah that was pretty much? "oi! snap out of your thoughts nosey!"Tani called out,she's bold you know..sometimes she says things that actually have me thinking over but i brush them off.whos got time to think over something like that? it's just Iomhara that takes them seriously, me and aki let it go.. She hardly has any kind of crushes. . Though she had one on this gorrilla guy i like to call his name is Sid. Hes fine too just a bit dense.. Aura is huge fan of anime and reads a lot of manga..well i guess she refers to herself as otaku maybe?.. Something like that.. Well shes cold hearted and has difficulties in socialising.. But once you get to know her shes awesome..the first time i met her was in 4th grade.. She was quiet as hell at that time!! but over the years we have become so close.. Closer than any of the GQ(gossip queens).She is really a good observer and helps me with lot of personal problems...
