Artist note: I’m so proud of this :))) I know it’s a lot of dialogue and reading, but dialogue is grueling work for me. I’m glad with the art and for the amount of pages I made in such a relatively short time span -w- page 5 was super fun to work on. A lot of blood, sweat, and hours here... :) The backgrounds were a big bore tbh, but I finished them! Yippie!

Q: Let's talk about this season just as a whole, because some of the records that Max and the team have broken this year are insane. 10 wins in a row for for Max this season. 14 wins in a row for the team. You've won 26 of the last 28 races. That is just utter domination. I saw that you put up a Instagram post that said, I've never seen anything closer to perfection than what Max Verstappen has achieved this year. Tell me about that perfection that Max has achieved. Calum Nicholas: It seems to be his nature that he will just chase every last bit. He will leave nothing on the table. It's great to have. It puts the pressure on us to make sure that we deliver, which is great. The nature of the people in the garage: we thrive on that pressure. It's what drives us. We want to be the best every single week. Watching what Max has done, week in, week out and having the sort of knowledge that as long as we do our job and the car is reliable and it does what he needs it to do, I know he's gonna deliver. It's just one of those things. You go into a race weekend and it's nice because... I've always said this, it doesn't matter where you are in the pit lane. It doesn't matter what garage you are in, you are doing the same hours. Everybody's working such long hours, Saturday or Sunday can be 16 hour days easily. So it's nice to know that you've got everything in place, that you've put yourself in the best position to get a result from that work. Q: And what's Max like to work with? Million dollar question. I'm sure you get asked it a lot. But what's he like? Calum Nicholas: I've always thought this is odd to me that people can't see sometimes how brilliant he is. For me, when he's in the garage, when he's not in a race car, he's one of us. And he really is. He engages with us, just as you want any of your other colleagues to engage with you. He's kind. He cares about the people around him. And it's brilliant, and I like the fact that he can get into the car and close his lid and then he should be ruthless. You're a sports person. We're here to win. He's here to win. And I think it's great that he's able to switch between the both. And he really does. Q: You've worked with quite a few drivers in your time. You've been at Red Bull since 2015. So you've worked with a few other drivers. What attributes does Max have? You've worked with Ricardo, you've worked Kyvat, you've worked with Gasly, Albon. What are their traits, what what do they all share? And maybe what are the differences between between some of them? Calum Nicholas: Where I think Max is probably different to most of the others is that Max over the years has managed to encompass so many of the great attributes of the drivers that we've seen before. Max, when he arrived in F1, it was clear that he had this raw, unbridled talent, this raw speed. Over the years, he's just grown and grown and he's added everything to his arsenal. His race management, his way of seeing the holistic picture, his determination. All of these things are what's put him in the position that he's in now. It's a way that he's been able to encompass so many things that so many great drivers have had, and bring them all together to make them work. When you see an athlete in their prime, in their absolute prime, you look at them and you say that's a package that right now no one can beat. That's what it is. When you're an athlete in that position, it's your job to try and stretch that out for as long as you can, and stay in that zone. That little window of perfection. That's what Max is able to do right now. He's just able to just extract everything from himself. It's amazing to see up close. It really is. Q: I'm jealous that you get to see behind the scenes. Obviously we only see the stuff on the on the television, but I'm sure a lot goes on behind the scenes that we don't see and it must be amazing. To be up close.

Interview
So after I heard news of the Owlboy fandub, I was intrigued. I had the opportunity to interview the person who set it all up, @allthedavesallofthem , which is transcribed here. Minor edits were made, but only on my half for misspellings and grammar. Thank you to the voice actors involved with the dub as well as those who set it up, it's amazing to see other fans of Owlboy do such amazing things. Of course, a big thanks to @dpadstudio for making the game itself. The dub can be found at @unofficialowlboydub
Sorry for the preamble, here's the interview. Q is Question (and Qwerty) and A is for the person who set up the dub who I tagged up above.
Q: How long have you been a fan of Owlboy?
A: A friend of mine told me about the game when I was in college, I think it was the year after the game came out when I actually first played it, so about 2017. I was immediately charmed by it. The gameplay was simple yet engaging, and I found the ending incredibly touching.
Q: What led you to undertaking the dubbing project?
A: This is actually my second time attempting this dub. Before I had first played the game, I had also been involved in an amateur voice acting project that attempted to dub the webcomic Homestuck. I had occasionally considered the idea of starting a fandub project of my own, though I had no idea what would be a good thing to actually dub. I didn't really think about it for a while, but after finishing Owlboy, I had really wanted to do something creative around it, and I had remembered the idea of creating a voice acting project again, and I decided I had to do it. I created a casting call and actually ended up releasing two episodes, but I had no experience in managing a project and a chaotic schedule as a college student, so it fell to the back burner and finally fizzled out when I found that my game recording footage had been corrupted after getting a new PC. I didn't think much about voice acting or Owlboy for several more years, but last summer, I was looking for a new hobby to get into, and I remembered how much fun I had with amateur voice projects in the past, so I took an online voice acting 101 class, and it reinvigorated my interest in the hobby. I looked back to when I did the original attempt at the dub, and felt that I could do it better this time, so I decided to restart the project.
Q: What was the hardest part of setting up this dubbing project?
A: The hardest part is definitely coordination. There are a lot of different things that need to come together, and making sure that it all happens smoothly and at the right times takes a lot of work. Game recording, script transcribing, video editing, managing a cast of voice actors, audio editing, and more all have to come together at the right time and work together in the right way.
Q: How many more episodes do you have in the works until the project ends, and do you think you'll do another Owlboy related project (not necessarily a dub) in the future?
A: I'm not actually sure how many episodes are left before the end of the game... I recorded about 16 hours of footage for the game, and I aim for somewhere between 20 and 30 minutes per episode, but I also end up cutting out footage where there isn't much going on, such as long sections of just moving from one place to another or backtracking. My best guess is maybe around 20 episodes? We'll have to see once I finish sequencing all of the raw game footage. I don't think I'm going to want to run another voice acting project myself for a long time - after Owlboy, I want to return more to focusing on being a voice actor over directing projects. As far as another Owlboy project in general? I have no idea. I don't really have anything in mind at the moment, but who knows?
Q: Do you have a rough time frame for the end of the dubbing project? Like, when all loose ends are tied up, nothing left to do but post the video.
A: The current pace I'm targeting is about 3 weeks per episode. If there ends up being 20 episodes and that pace holds up, I would expect the dub to finish in early-to-mid 2025.
Q: Will you dub everything first and then put the lines in, or do you record lines as needed?
A: It's currently a "work-as-we-go" approach. It probably would've been more efficient had I structured it differently and got all of the video recording done, then the editing, then the scriptwriting, then the line submission and audio editing, but I know that without having some tangible results earlier on, it would be harder for me to keep myself motivated to finish.
Q: I understand. I think that's all the questions I had involving the inner workings of the fandub. I have two questions left, but do you want to clarify anything before we move on?
A: I just want to publicly thank the voice actors working with me on the project. All of you have been amazing, and there's no way this project ever happens without all of your efforts.
Q: Here's the last two questions. I saved the 'best' for last. Who is your favorite character from the game, and what scene or moment do you look forward to dubbing most?
A: Favorite character? That's tough. I keep switching between Geddy and Alphonse as I think about it, but I think I'll go with Alphonse. All of the other pirates are these cold, unfeeling killing machines, but on the other hand, Alphonse just has dreams of becoming a stage actor! He can still handle himself in a fight, and his musket blast is extremely handy. Out of the characters that aren't party members, I also really like Solus and his arc as well.
A: I think the scene I'm looking forward to the most is probably the ending sequence, post-final boss. In particular, the interaction with Asio at the end almost had me in tears when I first played. That one's gonna hit hard, I think.
Q: Thank you for answering my questions! That's all I have. Do you have any questions or concerns for me involving anything?
A: Thank you for interviewing me! I don't think I have anything else. I'm always inspired when I see people being passionate about things I've made.
That's it! Once again, a big thank you to the creators of Owlboy, D-pad Studios, to all the voice actors involved with the project, and the guy who set the dub up, who I tagged up above at @/allthedavesallofthem. None of this could be done without you! I'm really looking forward to the next part of the dubbing project.

Tommy: So, what, now I'm just supposed to do anything that Technoblade does? I mean, what if he jumped off a cliff?
Ranboo, who works with Techno at the library: If Techno were to jump off a cliff, he would've done his due diligence regarding the height of the cliff, the depth of the water, and the angle of entry, so yes. If you see Techno jump off a cliff, by all means, jump off a cliff.
Tommy: You jump off a cliff!
Ranboo: Gladly. Provided Techno did first.

Tubbo: Dandelions symbolize everything I want to be in life.
Purpled: Fluffy and dead with a gust of wind?

Hannah: Edible.

Hannah, traumatized and emotionally scarred at the loss of something that had been taken for granted her entire life: Zero stars. Would NOT recommend.

Sam: Stop buying plastic skeletons for Halloween! It's terrible for the environment!
Kristin: Yeah! Locally sourced, all natural skeletons are much more environmentally friendly!
-
Phil: WHAT'S YOUR TYPE
Techno, bleeding out and mildly delirious, attempting to joke: Anything, honestly, but nerds especially.
Phil, desperately: YOUR BLOOD TYPE.
Techno: Ohhh. B positive.
Phil: DON'T TRY TO CHEER ME UP JUST TELL ME YOUR BLOOD TYPE
Techno:
-
Sam: Sorry it took me so long to bail you out of jail.
Boomer: No, it's my fault, I shouldn't have used my one phone call to prank call the police.

thank you for tagging me @irrewilderer! it’s a sims q&a thingamajig, under the cut! i will be very longwinded bc that’s how i roll
01: what’s your favorite sims death? the one you had when you got cursed by a mummy in ts3 world adventures. there is a lot of skeeviness around that whole pack, but i remember stumbling onto it in gameplay and it being deeply fucked up in a way recent installments refuse to match
02: alpha cc or maxis match? i lean maxis mix-ish but i don’t care about which way people lean ngl
03: do you cheat when your sims gain weight? this is a weird question and as someone who is experiencing a resurgence in [redacted] i think that whoever made this originally should be ashamed of themself.
04: do you use move objects? yes, no default sims grid placement may satisfy my hoarding tendencies.
05: favorite mod? ts2 needs a suite of mods to encourage it to not self-explode, but i am an acr enjoyer. with the right tuning it makes sims not breed like rabbits but have their own autonomy and people of interest that i find very enjoyable
06: first expansion/game/stuff pack you got? i believe that i got ts1 bundled with some expansion pack? so whichever one came after that until dad got tired and learned how to pirate so i could enjoy games hehe
07: do you pronounce “live mode” like aLIVE or LIVing? alive, i don’t care if it’s the wrong way
08: who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? it has to be jess. it’s silly but writing her at times allows me to work through some shit of my own.
09: have you made a simself? i never cared to until i got me a wife who lives very far away from me hehe
10: what sim traits did you give yourself? no idea tbh, i forgot (i reek of ts3 absent minded trait)
11: what is your favorite EA hair color? the witching hour defaults and addon palette by pyxis my beloved
12: favorite EA hair? no friggin’ idea my dude
13: favorite life stage? this question would only make sense if eaxis put any thought into life stages other than young/adult since the release of the generations ep. but i’ve recently been reminded of how fun the ts2 teens are.
14: are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay? is build/buy not a gameplay function? i can’t build to save my life but i enjoy decorating and live mode (in ts2 mostly)
15: are you a CC creator? as need and want hit me
16: do you have any simblr friends/a sim squad? LMFAO what kinda question is this!! no i don’t have a simblr avengers squad or anything and i’m over caring about it. there’s people in the community i’m fond of but i’m not trying to join or create a clique
17: what’s your favorite game? listen. i am going to obtusely pretend that this isn’t a sims interrogatory and talk about the games that have my heart right now bc i can’t choose a single game. you have been warned.
now and forever, the games that miyazaki has directed at fromsoftware, particularly the souls series and bloodborne (i haven’t played elden ring yet but i KNOW i will adore it) are very special to me. bloodborne is a masterpiece. and i am sad that discourse has morphed these games into everything that’s wrong with Gamers and Gatekeeping. the games and the 99% of the community aren’t about that. i walked into them as someone who’d mostly played games casually but loved the games that approach storytelling indirectly. i fell in love with the marriage of gameplay and theming. i love how miyazaki approaches storytelling as an act of archaeology. the world was there long before you. you’re a nobody. things are bleak and you can’t get a straight answer out of anything, but you have other people going through it with you. you can imbue meaning and history into things, and that is beautiful. and i am bitter that one can’t say that the games don’t need an easy mode without being deemed a gatekeeper. (the games were designed with multiplayer that allows other players to cooperate with you and help you. there are gameplay styles that make things easier. all out of the box)
i am a known tes lover but morrowind is the apple of my eye. it’s weird listening to essays about modern day open world design and its pitfalls and to see how morrowind largely circumvents these issues, all the way back in 2002. the lore is amazing and once more it places a large chunk of the meaning making on the player’s hands. vvardenfell is a wonderful region of morrowind and i enjoy the diverse landscapes from the humid and mysterious bitter coast, the harsh ashlands, and the welcoming breadbasket which are the ascadian isles (lovely until you stumble upon the plantations). the exploration and navigation are unmatched and nothing will ever match the skill that is navigating the world through in game directions and learning the silt strider, boat, and stronghold routes. not to get into mark/recall/almsivi and divine intervention. you arrive at vvardenfell as a stranger and the world is hostile, but as the character becomes more familiar with the land you the player master the transversal and that’s honestly some sexy marriage of theming and gameplay. some aspects have aged horribly which is why these days i play with the amazing sexual harassment remover mod.
i think everyone owes it to themself to play outer wilds (NOT worlds). it plays into the strengths i mentioned above. i can’t say much because it ruins the purpose of the game. it’s a tender bastard of a game that makes me so happy that i am alive at a time i can play it and makes me cry every time i listen to tracks from its ost. the writing is maybe the best i have ever witnessed in any art form (“the pain of your absence is sharp and haunting, and i would give anything to not know it; anything but never knowing you at all (which would be worse)”). just play it. i wish i could hire someone to bonk me on the head and give me selective amnesia so i could play it for the first time again. just. play. it.
there’s more, like octopath traveler which is quickly climbing through the ranks, darkest dungeon, pillars of eternity, project zomboid, dragon’s dogma, journey, and more
also, it’s ts2.
18: do you have any sims merch? ew, no
19: do you have a youtube for sims? ew, no
20: how has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing? it has, but i’m not quite sure i can describe it? it’s been decades of sims so of course it’s changed.
21: what’s your origin id? come back with a warrant
22: who’s your favorite cc creator? i am a known sforzcc simp
23: how long have you had a simblr? wouldn’t you like to know, weather boy (too long)
24: how do you edit your pictures? i use Very Legitimate photoshop. these days i just run a photopeia action that gives it some color aberration and slap some noise on it.
25: what expansion/game/stuff pack is your favorite so far? i love sims 2 freetime? hobbies are such a great addition to the game that just fits in seamlessly with the rest of the game
26: what expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next? the eaxis stop shoving shit into ts4 and fix issues and let the modders have it pack

7 and 16 for the writer asks!
7. How do you balance the demands of writing with other responsibilities?
I was literally stumped at this question for hours because honestly? I have no idea.
A few tips, I suppose, on how I weave writing into my day-to-day as an adhd/bpd person:
Only work on 1-2 active WIPs at a time. Drop the rest into a folder or something. Don't open any of the non-active WIPs until you've finished the one you're focusing on.
Keep these WIPs open all the time. Whenever you're frustrated, bored, or just want something else to do - flick to the wip, drop in 1 sentence, or even just re-read the last few lines to keep the wip in your head.
Since my attention span is 0, those "block out two-hour sacred time" tips don't work coz I can't write if I'm not feeling it. But I feel it in drips and drabs throughout the day, which is why I leave the WIPs open exactly where I leave off, so that once I get struck with the fleeting urge I type something in there and wander off again. Over time, those tiny sentences add up, and suddenly the words will flow once you get into the swing of the scene.
Give yourself guilt-free off-days! I have about 3 days a week where I just don't even think about writing. Like those are do not write days, unless I get slapped with the inspiration rod. It helps.
16. What's the worst writing advice anyone ever gave you? Why was this terrible advice?
I DON'T KNOW IF PEOPLE EVER GAVE ME ADVICE TBH... I NEVER ASKED... but ok, this thing about "always get feedback"?
No, don't get feedback from every Tom, Dick and Harry. Definitely do not get feedback from "friends and family". Most certainly do not get feedback on everything you write. Creative workshops are a double-edged sword, so decide carefully.
Choose one or two writer friends that you can trust, and get their thoughts, but that's about it. Be specific about what you want thoughts on: is it the flow? The feeling? The structure? Make sure it's a logical, objective perspective you seek, not some thoughts on your writing style. Style will evolve as you grow, and no one has the right to crush that unique voice of yours.
The thing about feedback is even when you want it, you're never really ready for it. Writing is such a solitary process and is very much a voluntary hardship.
I'm not saying you shouldn't get feedback; just be very particular about who you seek comments from, and about what exactly. My experiences with creative writing workshops haven't been the most pleasant as many junior writers like myself don't really know how to give feedback beyond commenting on style or "evoking emotion", which is so subjective it doesn't even matter. A lot of them put me off writing for years.
Now, I find that it's a lot easier to simply write what I want, experiment with styles, and only seek advice when I feel like something about the pacing or the flow is wrong or off about the piece, and never about the writing style.
When/if you become a published author, that's when you'll have to deal with a huge influx of feedback. It's part of taking things professional. But if writing is your hobby and your safe space, it isn't wrong to curate your space and keep it that way.

hey hey! im down for a little chat <3
-
i only found this blog like, 2 days ago but i can already feel myself getting the urge to go back and reread everything here. content of the highest quality over here <3 /gen
all the fics on AO3 would be really nice as well imo! although i cant say that i use the site that frequently, it could be a good way for others to find your works! at least thats how i see it
i think its due to how much i simp for this man, but i really love love LOVE the memory files. the trope is fairly common (from what ive seen) but the way you write it? chefs kiss. i am patiently but eagerly waiting for the next part mwah <3
the cup god chronicles were also a really fun read. i dont fully really see content (READ: fics) for him regularly so i was immediately intrigued and when i tell you, i was HOOKED. big fan, i love this doofus <3
-
now imma ask you something. who's your fave ego? my guess is engineer lol
also, whats your pronouns? i havent seen them listed anywhere ^^"
if you dont mind me asking, how long have you been writing? just in general. it seems like a basic Q but the answers are fascinating.
-
and as a last little tid bit of me im willing to share for the night, i read most of your works in around 2 hours. what that says about me is irrelevant,, goodnight, i hope this isnt too big of a text wall to answer <3
WAAAH thank you!! Also all of that in two hours?! Oh gosh! (And you're all good! I like big text walls!)
That was more or less my thought with posting them on Ao3! I know a lot of writers do cross-post them, so I figured "hey, why not". I...might end up doing that today, since I managed to pull a muscle in my back real bad in the night and I'm laid up in bed. gfhj
Ooooh, Lost Memory Files does tend to be a fan favorite. XD I'm really happy people like it! It...actually spun out of a similar idea but with Engineer and a Captain who can't remember wormholes and looping...heh. The next part, based on my loose notes, is likely going to continue the hurt.
Cup God Chronicles was really my first attempts at writing Night, the smug bastardass. The reader being a sarcastic little shit is in part I'm a sarcastic little shit, and in part based off of @ghostf1ux. I did notice there aren't a ton of fics for him that aren't...uh. Spicy. I have a couple more fics planned for it!
Favorite ego is 100% Engineer. "The smartest dumbass" was how I saw him described at one point and I'm like "yes. THIS ONE." There's something about like...realizing that even through all the hurt on both sides of that, he still fully trusts the captain? Despite everything. Never knowing the full extent of everything the captain goes through, despite his own misconceptions...
And well, hope is very important to me. So ISWM being very centered around never giving up hope kind of hit real hard, you know?
I DIDN'T REALIZE I DIDN'T PUT PRONOUNS ANYWHERE. ghjk WHOOPS. Honestly, almost anything! (My one exception is it/it's, and that's just because it doesn't feel like me. Big love to everyone who does though! Y'all rock it!)
I'm a genderfluid menace so they're always changing anyway!
How long I've been writing...the first thing I really clearly remember writing was either HP or Yu-Gi-Oh! fanfic waaaaaaaaay back in the day. I must have been about 10 or 11? So...20+ years at this point.
If I had to think about creative writing and doing it more consistently, that's closer to about...16 years? (I had to think about when I graduated high school and I felt like I aged SIGNIFICANTLY in an instant.)
One of my English teachers really drove a lot of confidence in my writing! Shout out to Mr. Craig, who liked some of my original stuff I had written for his class so much, he still has it and checks in from time to time on what I'm up to.
He's a big reason as to why I have an 111k original fiction novel and a novella I self-published for a while. He also did a front-flip off a stage with a lightsaber for a student-written play.

Ten Q’S:
1. when are you usually online?
I have a window of a few hours in the morning and afternoon! Then very late at night if I’m not streaming that day - which happens thursday-sunday!  I’ll lurk from time to time though, but I try hard not to be on here all the time, even though I work from home. It used to be very easy for me to get into the habit of scrolling and scrolling and refreshing every couple of minutes so now I’ve just, you know, learn to just not have the tabs open
2. what verses are you involved in outside of this page?
I’ve just started! But I think I’ll be doing a whole lot in his future verses, since I expect his story will end completely by the time he hits 16... or maybe even 17? But expect a LOT of verses to come the further we get into the current arc!!
3. what is your biggest RP pet peeve?
the lack of communication. the using, block evading when I have statcounter and can see you there  - a lot. I feel like being on here for so long has made me a bit jaded in some ways. I’m a little less trusting haha. There’s a lot of little things to be honest, so little that they aren’t really worth mentioning. OH OH people getting mad that asks or threads aren’t answered right away, or equating muse feelings for ooc feelings, you know? annoyiiiiiiiiiiiing
4. are you drawn to specific types of muses?
I would say so - looking at Qistina and Yuji I would say I’m drawn to very morally grey muses who stick to their beliefs and will do the most to get to where they want to be. Both she and Yuji are on opposite sides of the spectrum when it comes to grey-ness, but it’s definitely something that I notice and like to latch on to.
5. are there recurring themes in your writing that people might not notice?
There’s a lot over on qissy’s blog, but since I don’t have too many threads on this one rn, I’ll just say that I tend to include things from past threads, foreshadowing, the theme of humanization and understanding morality against the greater good - I can’t wait to really dive into him!
6. what are your favorite RP trends?
the dash games/dash commentary. It’s really cute and it brings us all together as pals :> Plus, it can give us some insight into these little muses we’ve come to love so much.
7. what is your process for starting a new story with someone?
Checking in to make sure they’re cool with everything ~ talking about the process of things just to be sure we’re all on the same page in terms of where we want the muses to go! Foreshadowing and all that. Though there have been times, even recently, where people have forgotten what our plot or muse relation was ... which was a bummer! But I’m doing my best over here!
8. how do you feel about duplicates?
You know, I did have a very icky feeling about duplicates due to theft and general nastiness from the other person :/ but I feel like it’s pretty chill atm!! Though, I still don’t like the idea of being compared so... please don’t :)
9. how long have you been involved in roleplaying?
About 12 years! Very much.... a longass time.
10. is there a muse or verse you wish you could write in, but haven’t?
I would probably write Maki if my muse for Yuji wasn’t so big. Maybe in the future when my work doesn’t own me, I can give her a fair shot!

Generative artist William Mapan’s latest collection, “Distance,” sold out in less than 24 hours despite launching in the middle of a very weak NFT market. From his early long-form generative series “Dragons” on the Tezos blockchain to the highly sought-after “Anticyclone” ArtBlocks collection that currently commands a 5 ETH floor, Mapan has a unique way of capturing the hearts and minds of collectors. But many people in the public still don’t understand what generative art even is. Mapan has a unique way of explaining the often misunderstood genre by boiling it down to a piece of paper, a crayon and a die. “It can be really hard to explain but usually the way I explain is to put away the code, put away the blockchain, put away everything. Just take a piece of paper, a crayon and dice. Imagine drawing two by two boxes on that paper, so four boxes total. You then throw the dice — if the roll shows up as a three or below, you draw a square; if the dice shows four or above, you draw a circle into one of the boxes. “You just made an algorithm; you just made a set of rules and introduced some randomness in there. That’s basically what generative art is, you build a set of rules, an algorithm and then introduce randomness. Then you try to control that part of the space. Strands of Solitude #010 by William Mapan (OpenSea) “With the grid of two by two, the parameter of space is very reduced, but as soon as you expand to different parameters, you can get many different outputs. Imagine a 10 by 10 box and imagine you have multiple shapes like a circle, triangle, square, star or whatever. You just write down your rules and just follow them, and that’s it.” Fine line technique Mapan’s work straddles the line between appearing as if it’s physically or digitally made, a technique other artists such as Tyler Hobbs and Emily Xiu have a reputation for. “I like to activate senses, feelings and memories. My hope is that when you see my work, it sparks curiosity. You might think my art reminds you of something in one way, but in another way, you’re thinking there are so many shapes that it’s impossible that someone made it by hand,” says Mapan. “I hope that it connects with people in their memories, especially like the last series that I released last week, “Distance.” I want people to see themselves traveling, and they remember, ‘Oh, I was on this plane when I saw this kind of landscape down there.’ I like to trigger emotions and curiosity.” Distance #22 by William Mapan (OpenSea) Based in France, Mapan credits Matt Deslauriers, the artist behind Meridians and Subscapes, as his introduction to art on the blockchain. Mapan’s first NFT was minted on 4 March 2021 on Tezos, where he put a lot of his early digital work before launching Anticyclone via ArtBlocks on Ethereum on 23 April 2022. “Matt helped me navigate early on. He kindly explained it all to me, and it started to make sense over time. I started in the Tezos ecosystem, which was a very community art-driven vibe,” Mapan says. “It intrigued me that you could put an algorithm on the blockchain, and when people mint it, they buy an iteration that triggers your algorithm on demand. It was a new way to think about your work. Basically, the collector is a triggering point.” Notable Sales “Anticyclone #470” by William Mapan sold for 182 ETH ($229,856). (OpenSea) “Anticyclone #743” by William Mapan sold for 37 ETH ($50,430). (OpenSea) “Strands of Solitude #253” by William Mapan sold for 16 ETH ($26,321). (OpenSea) Rapid-fire Q&A Are there any up-and-coming artists who you think people should be paying attention to? “Anna Lucia:I definitely love her work. She’s very talented, and I can’t wait to see her progress. You need to look her up.” “Abstract expressionism movement and people pushing boundaries in modern-day art.” AC the collector — He is one of the most engaging ones. He comes to exhibitions and talks to me. He always tries to reach out to me and to understand the practice behind the work. AC is definitely a great collector.”
“‘Horizon(te)s #5” — a collaboration by Iskra Velitchkova and Zach Lieberman. “I don’t know why I love this, but I just do. It’s perfect because I love Iskra’s work and I love Zach’s work. It’s the perfect combination. I love the light and abstract shapes, it’s just amazing work.” “Kendrick Lamar and Sofiane Pamart. I really like classical music, especially when I try to be in the flow state. When I need to crush stuff, it’s hip hop. “Performers are in another light. They need to go up in front of the public. They have to be fragile and sensible, yet you have to let your shell down. I find that very inspiring. “I try to be more like that. To let my emotions out. Prior, I was basically shutting them down because I wasn’t creating art full-time. Now that art is my job, I want to explore expressing myself more. Performers are very inspiring in that regard.” “Untitled” by William Mapan (objkt.com) What’s hot in NFT art markets Mapan’s aforementioned “Distance,” a collaboration with Cactoid Labs and LACMA, sold out its 250-piece collection at a 2 ETH mint price per piece. The collection has done close to 185 ETH in secondary sales volume since its 13 September mint.Below are some of the other top recent digital art sales. Ringers #343 by Dmitri Cherniak sold for 39.99 ETH ($65,395). (OpenSea) Door VII by Matt Kane sold for 22.5 ETH ($36,787). (OpenSea) Chromie Squiggle #1606 by Snowfro sold for 20 ETH ($32,877). (OpenSea) Cool Cats headed to Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Nothing says mainstream more than the iconic Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, and Cool Cats is set to become the first NFT collection to be featured. In its 97th annual edition, the parade ran a contest that featured numerous NFT collections, including SupDucks, Boss Beauties and VeeFriends. Cool Cats eventually won out, which means a massive Blue Cat balloon will grace the skies of Manhattan on 23 November. The lead artist and founder of Cool Cats, Clon, couldn’t be more excited for his beloved project. “This is a big moment for me as an artist and as the founder of Cool Cats. Personally, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade has always been an important event in my family and it holds a lot of memories. Being able to showcase my artwork alongside some of the world’s most recognizable characters is a dream come true,” says Clon. Nouns DAO fork finalizes After a bumpy ride over the past few weeks, the Nouns DAO fork has finished with 472 Nouns NFT holders out of 844 in total opting into the fork that was approved in proposal 356.  The Nouns holders that opted into the fork will have the opportunity to get approximately 35 ETH back, while Noun holders that voted against proposal 356 will carry on as the DAO had originally been structured, where 1 Noun per day is auctioned, with the proceeds going to fund the treasury of Nouns. Game Update: Mining & Smithing Changes
Game Update: Mining & Smithing Changes
Mining & Smithing Changes Mining Smithing This week, we kick off February with a bang, and a sound as we unveil several changes to Mining and Smithing. Find out the details
Changes in Mining & Smithing
You may have heard of something called the Mining and Smithing Rework that we announced at the beginning of last year. That went down really well however there were a few lingering issues that we've managed to resolve this month. We hope that these changes will make learning more fun and rewarding for everyone.
Mining
Mining is now much more dependent on Stamina. You can cause 80 percent damage to the rock you are mining even if your stamina level is at zero. This will increase to 20% following the update. You can still increase Stamina by beginning to mine the rock again or by drinking a stone spirit while under the effects of a Perfect Juju Mining Potion. Basically, this means that stone spirits are more useful, and valuable, than they were before.
Rocks that don't decrease Stamina, like red sandstone and Arc crablets, are unaffected by this update. Additionally, Seren stones now have an HP of 22,000. This means that they will take longer to mine. Mining them will not consume Stamina.
To keep track of your Stamina you can enable the Stamina Bar under the 'Mining' section in the Gameplay Settings menu.
Smithing
We have made improvements to the way that smithable products can be disassembled into Invention components back at the forge. From now on, every bar used to create an item will be worth four Invention components or parts when broken down. For example, a two-handed sword that has no upgrades costing four bars to create it, will yield 16 parts or components.
Additionally, older rune equipment has the potential of breaking down into parts instead of pieces.
This update will greatly increase the availability of parts, and components. To help compensate the breakdown rewards activation probability has been reduced to 0.8% per rank.
These changes to Mining and Smithing are effective February 3rd.
Double XP Weekend: Extended
Don't forget! Double Weekend XP Extended will return on February 21st. This time its been extended even further, with the whole duration of 48 hours of Double XP time spread over 10 days. That means youll have ample time to improve your skills, walk the dog, master the cha-cha, and maybe take a nap. This is the height of luxury! RUNESCAPE

Wait a minute... Undyne doesn’t believe Kris when they try to tell her about the Dark World and laughs in their face so hard that she breaks her desk. So they do something to lure the police over to their house by slashing the tires, then make a Dark World themself after learning from Queen that it might be possible for any Lightner to do so. And they did it before the police get there so that they’ll stumble into it.
I always found the gap of time between Toriel calling the police and her falling asleep before they get there odd as it’s a little town so it shouldn’t take that long, and it doesn’t seem as if they came before she fell asleep. Could be busy trying to recatch all those dogs. Maybe Kris is aware that Toriel falls asleep quickly while reading, they even opened the door so that the police could come in. One hole in this idea is, how would they know that Susie would pass out fast too? Might not have been part of the plan but an opportunity they took.
Not sure why they turned on the TV to static, possibly to give the new Dark World something to latch onto as regular living room furniture might not be enough. (Now that I’m thinking about it, all the items that have turned into characters so far are things that children and people touch and interact with using their imagination, like toys, computers, and TVs.)
Is this all to show Undyne and others that something dangerous is happening so they’ll be believed? I’m like, 90% sure that Kris is not The Knight and their intentions aren’t bad.

Get to know the Artists: Q&A With Canadian rising talent METAFLOOR on his latest EP ‘KRUMP JUKE’ OUT NOW on Elastic Rhythms ->
Tumblr media
ARTIST SPOTLIGHT:  METAFLOOR - Taking the global Footwork/Jungle & Bass Music scenes by storm is Calgary bread DJ and renown Producer: METAFLOOR. He's given us the gift that keeps on giving this Holiday Season with his latest EP 'Krump Juke', delivering a body of work of some bouncy, experimental and squeaky clean 160bpm+ club anthems that we've been waiting patiently to release on our Catalog since the late pandemic. Featuring a Stunning Remix from the highly esteemed Canadian duo GREAZUS (Owners & Operators of Aufect Recordings & Triple A Talent Agency) , this 4 Track EP has a bit of every flavor for everyone and so much more. We decided to ask him a few questions to get to know the man behind the music, and here’s what he had to say: _______________________________________________________________ Elastic Rhythms Artist Q&A: 1. What do you do to keep yourself motivated and interested in your work?
I enjoy many different types of music. There's always a new type of sound that I want to explore, this always keeps things fresh and interesting myself and the listener. Usually, I'll see someone play or even hear a clip of something online and it energizes me to get into the studio. 2. What is the best advice that you have been given?
In my personal life and business, there's been a common phrase that's been coming up a lot lately that can be phrased in a few different ways. Some may know it as "giving is better than receiving, or Gray V would say "jab, jab, right hook", but the concept is the same, see what you can offer others instead of constantly asking for something, whether you're promoting your music, product or catching up with a friend, operate from a place of curiosity and this creates space for expansion. 3. What advice would you have given yourself 5 years ago?
(wise rave lizard appears in a misty haze from a whippet canister) " "Even though you're not in school anymore and it doesn't seem relevant, you still suffer from clinical ADHD and you should learn about how it affects your life now both creatively and in your personal life." 4. What is your favorite late-night studio snack?
candy, soda, nicotine. 5. What in your personal life has influenced you to choose your music career?
I remember very consciously choosing to be an artist, I can actually vivdly remember exactly where I was and what I was thinking. It was a very conscious decision. I was 21 years old and I knew I wasn't very good in school nor did I enjoy it, always had a hard time holding down a 9-5 and decided music was the way to go. It's honestly been a struggle but I know it's what I'm supposed to be doing. 6. How harshly do you critique your own work?
Not very much. Tracks are never really "finished", you can always do more and it's important to know when to put it down and walk away before you overwork it. Usually, your first idea was the best one, I find when I overwork a track, maybe spending over 2 weeks to flush it out I move on to something else and that track is 100 times better than what was struggling with prior. Having said that, recently I've had a few tracks that were hard to get over a 16-bar loop and I know the idea is great so I spend almost a month working on it and grinding away until it finished and when it's done its a really good feeling seeing it come together not by mysterious inspiration from the gods, (which I think can be a trap many artists fall into) but by just working hard and putting in the hours even if its not "fun". 7. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Trash rat-making beats behind the grocery store. 8. How would you like to be remembered?
I've been hosting events now with my crew Sub Chakra, as well recently with my own weekly called "Pull Up", so it's a big part of my life when you include my own musical projects. It can get a little mundane sometimes being in a dark club every week, years down the road. Sometimes i question if i still wanna keep doing this but I try to remember all the people who express their appreciation at my nights and hope that at the end of the day i can look back i remember that i made a lot of people happy with the power of music, the lifelong friendships and memories that created, 9. if you had to live in a different country, which one would you choose?
I'd love to live somewhere else for a while but I'll always call Canada home, i love it here. 10. If you were our President, what would be the first thing you’d do?
love this question because I've brought it up many times it before to my peers. I WOULD MAKE ASMR VIDEOS ON TIKTOK PUNISHABLE BY DEATH. 11. Analog or Digital? and why?
IMO, It's when they both merge that the real magic happens. 12. If you could sit in on any production session, who would it be with? And why?
Alix Perez, man is quite low-key these days on his production techniques and I'd love to see him work. I admire his ability to make simple, yet effective tracks.

Just Looking
Summary: Waking up before Jack in an anomaly in itself, and you use the time you have to your advantage.
Rating: Explicit 18+. Mentions and descriptions of sex.
Word Count: 1353
A/N: This started out as a way for me to gush about how beautiful Pedrito is, and then suddenly got away from me. So here's 1300 words waxing poetic about Pedro Pascal. Huge huge shout out to @the-ginger-hedge-witch and @mandoblowmybackout for reading over this, and the Discord Besties for encouraging me!
It wasn’t typical that you woke up before Jack.
He had an internal clock in his system that demanded he rise with the sun, long before you even thought of getting out of bed. Years of military service and then his time spent with the Statesmen didn’t afford him hours of uninterrupted rest. When you woke up and rolled over to face him, you were surprised to see him still sleeping.
You took the rare opportunity to study his features in a way you had tried- and failed- to do before. Usually when he caught you staring, he’d give you a wink and pull you in for a kiss, always deflecting your compliments and wonderment of his beauty back at you. Maybe he was bad with compliments.
You had a feeling there was something deeper to it.
It took everything not to trace his features with your fingers, instead drinking him in with your eyes. He would wake up if you touched him, so you just spent your time looking.
It was an understatement to simply say that he was beautiful. His tan skin showed slight signs of aging, making him look more distinguished as the years paved onward. The crow’s feet next to his deep brown eyes were one of your favorite things, a testament to years spent smiling and laughing, even when you knew the hardship he had faced. They were framed by long, dark lashes that he could look up at you through when he particularly wanted something. His aquiline nose was prominent on his face, the tip slightly crooked (“From a bad break when I was a younger man, darlin’,” he had said when you asked about it). He blushes every time you place a gentle kiss on the tip of his nose, his high cheekbones flushing pink all the way to his ears.
His thick mustache twitched in his sleep, and you held back a giggle as he wiggled his nose like a rabbit. You never thought you’d be attracted to a clean cut man with only a mustache (and maybe a little scruff along his jaw), but here you were, laughing when he purposefully tickled your neck with the coarse hair. You loved the way it felt when you kissed his plump lips, and your eyes tracked down to the object of your thoughts.
It wasn’t fair that he has such pretty lips. You could spend hours looking at specifically his mouth. They were perfectly shaped with a deep cupid’s bow nestled in between the gentle slopes of the twin arches. It was typically hidden by his mustache, but you knew it was there, a little crevice that was perfect for collecting your kisses. His bottom lip was your favorite, the small line dividing his lip making it plumper, and definitely more kissable. It perfected his pout, working in tandem with those eyes of his to portray a proverbial puppy dog.
His face rounded out with a strong, angled jaw, sharp enough to be noticeable, but smooth when he rested in in the crook of your neck as he hugged you from behind. You followed the line of his neck past his Adam’s Apple, down to his collar bones and broad shoulders. It always amazed you just how large Jack was. He filled a room wherever he went, whether with his large frame, or even larger personality. He used it to his advantage, putting his large frame between you and any perceived danger, regardless of the harm that could come to him. He used long and strong arms to wrap you in a firm embrace, and it made you feel as if nothing could touch you, if Jack Daniels has anything to say about it.
He inhaled sharply, a sign that he was beginning to wake up. You had precious limited time to finish your study of him, and you glanced to his rising and falling chest. His pectorals were firm, and your favorite place to set your hands when you rode him, the steady beat of his heart pounding away under your palm and helping to ground you as he fucked up into your heat. There was sparse hair across his chest, and you followed the trail down, laughing quietly to yourself as you noticed that he had kicked the covers off. It was a common complaint from him that he got too hot when he slept, and it made sense, as he was your personal furnace at all times.
The hair left a neat line down the center of his stomach, and it was admittedly your favorite part of him. You could spend hours lavishing your affection on this man’s stomach. When he was younger, he had noticeable abs, a six pack you’re sure people would salivate over. But his stomach had softened with age, still solid with unbridled strength, but there was a slight swell from good food and good drinks, and it gave you a soft place to rest your head on. There were plenty of nights that you had placed gentle kisses across his stomach on your path to where he was straining for you, curved upwards and the anticipation making him leak precum on his stomach, a treat that you happily licked away, relishing in his soft moans.
The hair grew thicker and coarser the lower your gaze traveled forming a tidy patch at the base of his cock. He was hard in the morning, and it wasn’t atypical to wake to him thrusting gently against you, pulling you from your slumber on the verge of an orgasm, his chin resting again in the crook of your shoulder whispering absolute filth in your ear.
And his cock had the ability to take the words away from you, without him even trying to. But he wasn’t putting the moves on you now, and you sighed dreamily, because just like the rest of his body, his length was just pretty. Thick and long, Jack Daniels knew exactly how well-endowed he was. The swagger he walked with wasn’t just for show, as if the tight jeans he wore had ever left any room for doubt. He was steel wrapped in velvet, and he was able to make you forget everything but his dick when he was inside you. He said his favorite place to be was inside you, and from the hours he spent just letting you warm his cock, not moving, and driving you absolutely crazy, you could believe him. He would have you close to sobbing for some kind of stimulation, and would just smile, brushing your hair back from your face, “Come on now, pretty baby, you can do better than that. You gotta tell ol’ Jack just what you want.”
Jack sighed again, stretching his arms out above his head, and you knew you were out of time. You glanced at his strong thighs as he fidgeted awake, and you swallowed down a groan watching the thick muscles contract in his legs, knowing those same thighs are multitalented. They carry the broad man around the world and have carried you to oblivion in the cab of his truck many times. They are beautiful as the rest of him, and you long to scratch up his thighs gently with your nails until he groaned, but as you glanced back up to his face, he was blinking his eyes open against the bright light of the morning.
“Baby,” he rumbled, his voice thick with sleep. He only had one eye open now, his brows furrowed and making the line between his brows prominent. “How long have you been awake?”
“Not long,” you whispered back, leaning up to feather a kiss against the line, huffing a laugh as you soothed it away. You pressed more kissing across his temple and cheeks, laughing fully as he pulled you to him, growling into the column of your throat and nipping gently at the sensitive skin there.
“I may have to start sleeping in more if this is what I wake up to. Now, come here and let me give you a good morning kiss.”

Slow Hands
Pairing: Din Djarin x F!Reader.                                                          Wordcount: 1390                                                                                        Rating: T (for now)                                                                                Warnings: None                                                                                    Summary: The heat on Tattooine is unbearable, but what makes it worse is that the only clothes you have available are all for space travel, which means too hot for this desert planet. Mando is more affected than you’d expect.                                                                                                             A/N: This is Part 1 of 2 I think, and honestly just pure self-indulgence from a dream of Mando’s fingers tapping on a table.
-----
You huffed, digging through yet another crate in the cargo hold of the Razor Crest, sweat dripping down your neck to convalesce in the center of your back and along your chest.
Kriff but it was hot on this maker-forsaken planet. Tatooine wasn’t exactly high on your list of favorable planets, the twin suns doing nothing to cool the planet, leaving respite from the overbearing heat almost non-existent.
It didn’t help that you had been in space for so long- and on icier planets when not- that you had packed away your lighter clothes, instead sticking to the thick sweaters and Mando’s stolen duraweave shirt that be assumed had been beyond repair. He underestimated your tenacity and skill with a needle.
“Okay, I know you’re in one of these crates,” you mumbled to your missing clothing absently before straightening, your hands on your hips. You bit your lip, counting the crates left and groaning.
It was too hot for this, but you wouldn’t be able to cool down until you found those clothes. You staggered back to your corner of the bay, flipping down into your…”nest” as Mando so eloquently called it. It was a simple pallet stacked with blankets and pillows to cushion the hard floor. It was cozy.
You shucked your over shirt off, immediately sighing in relief. You couldn’t just walk around in your under clothes but-
Scratch scratch scratch.
You grinned, sitting up as the little gremlin toddled his way over to you.
“Why, hello there, Bean! Did you enjoy your nap?”
You had no idea how he managed to get out of his little cradle, but you know it’s pointless to question these things at this point. You had already stripped him from the baggy robe he wore, leaving his tiny body in a one piece suit that just made him more adorable that you thought possible.
He blinked slowly at you, still waking up, and reached his clawed hands for you. You happily picked him up, running a finger along his overly large ears. “Tell me, why would you want to leave your temperature controlled carrier to be out in this heat? Huh?”
He babbled in his little language, and you grinned, nodding along to his words as if it was the most serious thing in the world.
“We need to wait for your Papa to get back so I can make him help me look through these crates because I am apparently not nearly as content as you are with this heat.”
As if waiting for his cue, Mando’s heavy boots trudged up the open ramp, and the Child immediately squealed, more awake now that his favorite person was back.
“Okay, okay! Wait till he’s had a chance to come inside,” you laughed, letting him go once Mando started setting his multitude of weapons down across the table where you ate your meals, preparing them for cleaning.
You stood up, brushing sweaty hands along your leggings, and moved closer to where Mando had sat down, smiling as the Child tried his damnedest to climb up Mando’s boots.
Watching as Mando started his routine of cleaning his assortment of weapons, you reached into one of the lockers to hand him more oil, having noted earlier that his current supply was running low. As you set it on the table, he paused to look up at you, and then held your gaze.
As the seconds ticked by without breaking the contact, you cocked an eyebrow at him. “Everything okay, Mando?”
You knew you couldn’t see his eyes, but as his helmet dipped slightly, it was impossible not to feel like his eyes were on your very exposed chest. Heat rose up your neck, and you could feel your ears start to pinken, suddenly self-conscious about being in only your breast band and leggings.
“Oh,” you began, wringing your fingers nervously together. “About this, I can’t find my light clothing, and it’s just really hot. So I stripped down to this to avoid heat stroke.”
He didn’t say anything, but you noticed his hand clench slightly on his thigh, and while you hoped you hadn’t offended him, now your thoughts were heading in another, less innocent direction.
“It’s fine,” he finally said, still looking at you. “I’m not sure where they are either, but I’ll help you look in a moment.”
“Thank you,” you replied, sitting across from him and picking up the child before he could get Mando’s oil rag in his mouth. “I don’t know how you’re not dying under all those layers.”
“It’s not as bad as you’d think. The beskar reflects a lot of the heat.”
“Maybe I should invest in some for myself,” you joked, tickling the Child’s stomach. “Or you could always let me wear yours when you’re not using it.”
A chuckle left the broad, shining Mandalorian, and you grinned back at him, thankful for the camaraderie between you.
“Alright kid, let’s get you something to eat before you down Mando’s rag and leave him with grimy blasters,” you said, standing up and taking him to the galley, not noticing how Mando’s gaze tracked you the entire way.

Temptations

Pairing: Din Djarin x GN!Reader (if you squint) Wordcount: 859 Rating: Explicit Warnings: Jerking off and smut, fantasizing if you wanna count that as a warning. Summary: Din comes home after a long hunt and even though he’s tired, seeing you lights a fire under him. A/N: Sooooo apparently I’m writing now! @asta-lily and @djarinsbeskar are 100% responsible for this filth, and they should be held accountable. Let me know what you think!
Tired didn’t begin to describe how Din felt.
Three days. He was only supposed to be gone for three days, tracking his bounty through this city and returning with a nice tidy sum of credits lining his pockets. But here he was, a week and half later, trudging up the ramp of the Crest, bone weary and ready for sleep.
It was quiet on the ship, which was to be expected given the hour, and he was equal parts thankful that he had you around to watch the Child, and -more surprisingly- more than a little disappointed that you didn’t appear to be awake to greet him.
He set the security protocols into place and decided to leave the planet tomorrow. If he left the atmosphere now, the turbulence would definitely wake you, as he’s grown to learn that you were a light sleeper, and he knew you had to be tired after two weeks alone with the Child.
Moving through the ship silently, he noted that you kept everything tidy- no easy task with the kid around- and as he made his way towards the refresher, he noticed a covered bowl with a piece of paper propped up on top of it. He moved closer to inspect it, and couldn’t help the smile that crossed his face.
Mando-
You said you’d be coming home sometime tonight, and I don’t want you going to bed without eating, especially since you probably haven’t eaten in at least two days. It’s Bantha stew, just reheat it. This is the last bowl because your kid is a glutton, so enjoy it while you can!
He gently traced your name signed at the bottom, and turned, looking towards the corner of the cargo bay that you had declared for yourself. Your “night light” was still on, and without thinking, he found himself checking on you, hoping you would be awake. To thank you for the meal.
That was all. A thank you. Of course.
He pulled back your privacy curtain slowly, and felt his mouth go dry the second saw your sleeping form. You looked peaceful sleeping on your stomach as you always did, but you had managed to kick all the covers away from your body, and you slept only in a shirt.
His shirt.
What should have been too big on you, had crept up your body, showing off your thighs and the beginnings of your underwear, and he dropped the curtain quickly, embarrassed and….
When had you even taken his shirt, he wondered, begging the tightness in his pants to subside. It was wrong to think of you like that, wrong to imagine you coming to him wearing his shirt, only his shirt, smiling at him with the smile you don’t give anyone else-
He quickly left your corner and barricaded himself in the refresher, leaning against the door and breathing heavily. His cock strained against his his flight suit, and no matter how many flight plans he tried calculating in his head, he could only think of your lips, of your scent, how warm and soft you would be, asking him to take care of you.

Some Reasons to Use Instagram for Your Business:
Any size of business can thrive: With all of those users to choose from, Instagram is an important place for businesses. That goes for large, well-known companies as well as smaller mom and pop shops and entrepreneurs. Of course, even for the best-known companies, success will not come overnight, but if a marketing team wants to get their organization on the map, Instagram can help. Businesses can raise brand awareness and reach their target audience by keeping an active presence and maintaining a routine of at least one post per day. This is how both household names like Coca-Cola and Adidas, as well as a slew of small businesses, have effectively used Instagram to thrive.
Stories make your business relatable: Instagram is a great way to show potential customers that you are more than just a faceless corporation. This can be done through many of the app’s features, but you can really make an impression with live posts and stories. The best way to use live stories is to show behind-the-scenes insights into your company and the people who work there. Some examples are videos that show how products are made, videos of office employees interacting with each other, and live Q&A sessions between you and your audience. Instagram live posts are also an excellent way to build rapport, trust and credibility with followers, as well as showing that there’s a human side to your business.
You can partner with influencers: When it comes to social media, you have your regular users and then you have influencers. For those not in the know, influencers are online celebrities who often promote a brand or product and take it into the mainstream. A dependable influencer can bring your company’s sales to a new level through increased return on investment and access to demographics that you wouldn’t normally reach. If you use a well-known influencer, then they can publicize your company or product to millions of followers with just a few posts.
You can effectively engage with customers: What is better than having customers know you exist? How about the opportunity to engage with them on a daily basis? The fact is that people like to make their opinions known, especially if they like something. Instagram is a platform for users to like, comment on and share their favorite posts. The more likes and comments you get, the more visible your company becomes. You can get more likes by taking high-quality photos, using local hashtags and partnering with other brands.
You can keep an eye on competitors: Your company can use Instagram to keep an eye on your competitors and see how they interact with their followers. Watch carefully to find out how often they post, what they are posting and how they engage with their followers. You can use the information you gather to better define your own personal strategy.

HOW TO STUDY FOR THE CMA?
Many  CMA candidates are preparing for the CMA exam. I was stressed about how to study for the CMA exam and what CMA course would help me pass.
Obviously, you don’t want to spend thousands of money on the course material, months to study, and then not crack the exam. This is a very big risk for you to take.
With all that in mind, I want to share some of my tips on how to study for the CMA exam; from what I look for in CMA test prep materials, how to create a schedule that works for you, as well as all my best personalized  CMA study tips, techniques, and tricks.
5 True Tips on How to Study for the CMA Exam
1. Choose a CMA Review Course
You’ve finally made up your mind about pursuing the CMA position, but now you’re thinking about how to study for the CMA exam.
By taking a CMA review course!
Choosing a  CMA review course can improve your chances of passing the CMA exam on your first try.All these  review courses are designed to go  through all the concepts, but some review courses also offer coaching support and  CMA exam tips  that help you maximize your study time .
Looking  for a CMA review course that gives you  all the CMA study materials you need, from test banks, video tutorials, and textbooks, to one-on-one coaching and a best study plan.
Lets see  my next point
2. Follow a Study Plan
To plan for the future is to prepare for success. A depth study plan can ensure you cover all the important material and keep you on track.
Select a study plan that is flexible to your current lifestyle. For example, if you are preparing  for the CMA  while doing  a full-time job and family, you should have a plan that will work for you to succeed. Perhaps, this will include  evening and weekend study sessions for many  more weeks than someone who does not have a full-time job.
3. Use the SQ3R Technique
The best study technique I have seen  is the SQ3R technique. It helps you help   80% of what you study by using a simple method.
S – Survey the material and concepts which you are going to  study . Surveying can be as basic through the subheading and headings  of the chapter you are about to study.
Q – Questioning  yourself. Like , question  yourself what the key points are or what formulas you need to remember . This will help you connect the link  as you make your way through the study material.
R – Read. Actively read the material, and keep your questions at the front of your mind. Another best technique of  reading is to make notes  or  highlight as you go along .
R – Recite. After reading a section, close your book and try to revise as much information back as you can .
R – Review. Go back to your book and review the point you highlighted and notes to remember  it all home.
4. Decide  How Long to Study for the CMA Exam
So how long can you study for the CMA exam?
On an  average, you want to decide  about 16 weeks of studying for each part of the exam to maximize your chances of cracking the exam. This is the total  amount of time for my own CMA study course, and it’s worked really well and good   for my students over all  the years.
When I was preparing for my CMA exam, I dedicated all three months of my time to CMA preparation. Now the CMA exam format has lit a bit, I highly recommend you for at least  four months of CMA exam preparation .
Every day after my job , I went to Starbucks with my iPad and book and studied for approx 3-4 hours. Every hour I took a 10-minute break to stretch my arms and legs .
During weekends, I went to another cafe  and studied for 10 hours in total, like  3 hours in the morning, 4 hours in the afternoon, and 3 hours in the evening. Again, I took a 10-minute break for every hour to make me feel better .
5. Create a Conducive Study Atmosphere
An underrated, but useful tool for cracking  the CMA exam, is to create an atmosphere that is good  for your studying needs.
Clear away all the  distractions and block  the noises so that  you can focus 100% on studying for the exam.
It means shutting off your phone, signing out from all the social media platforms will help you so much better .
