[ it’s a love story ] t. zegras
pairing : Trevor Zegras x fem!reader
summary : Trevor goes with his girlfriend to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour when it comes to LA, and he has a surprise in his pocket when “Love Story” is played
warning(s) : none
author’s note : i keep seeing tiktoks of proposals during love story and i couldn’t not write a lil fic featuring the nhl’s resident swiftie so enjoy this probably cliche filled story that i couldn’t resist writing anymore
༺═──────────────═༻
This show has been something she and Trevor have been looking forward to since they both sat on their respective Ticketmaster accounts for almost 24 hours in November. She basically went through war for the general admission tickets she somehow managed to get. It was worth the wait and the hundreds of dollars she spent.
She went all out for her outfit. A short pink dress that is covered in glitter with matching heels pairs well with the pink makeup look that she decided on while she was doing her makeup. Her hair is curled with pink gems scattered throughout her locks. Trevor wasn’t sure how he felt about it but the look as grown on him in the hour or so since he first saw it.
The two of them get to SoFi Stadium at two in the afternoon with multiple water bottles in hand since it’s early August in Los Angeles. She wasn’t going to get there super early but didn’t want to get there super late either.
Of course, she made a bunch of bracelets so she trades with people while waiting in line to get in. The VIPs go in early then they go in about an hour later. She runs as fast as she can to find a good spot on the floor. Trevor is right behind her.
They end up near at the point of the diamond part of the stage but about fifteen rows of people back. It’s still a good spot despite getting to the arena at two instead of six in the morning. She’s very happy with where they end up.
Trevor stands behind her with his arms wrapped around her shoulders while they wait for the show to start. Gayle opens for Taylor Swift and the set lasts about 45 minutes or so. She vibes with the music, but gets so excited when it’s between sets.
Her boyfriend kisses the top of her head and asks close to her ear, “Are you excited? Nervous? Both?”
“So so excited,” she tells him as she looks up at him. Despite the heels, she still has a disadvantage when it comes to height. Trevor is six foot, but she’s five-foot-six with two inch heels on. “Thank you for coming with me. It means a lot to me.”
Trevor smiles and says, “Wouldn’t want to be here with anyone else.” She raises her eyebrows because she knows a handful of people that he would want to come to the Eras Tour with. “Okay, you and Jamie are the only people I’d want to be here with. And maybe Cole but I’m here with you and I’m happy to be here with you.”
She spins in his arms and wraps her arms around his torso. He’s wearing a button up but only half the buttons are actually buttoned. She gets makeup on the exposed part of his chest and feels his cool chain against her cheek until she pulls back.
The clock pops up on the screen and everyone, including her, loses their minds. Trevor lets her go so she can freely dance and sing as the Lover era begins. She gets very into “The Man” since it’s her favorite off of the Lover album.
As soon as the Fearless era begins, she pulls out her phone so she can make sure to get Trevor singing “You Belong With Me” when she plays it after “Fearless”. He tries to block the camera when she puts it on him but she does end up getting Trevor singing the song. She makes a mental note to send it to Jamie and Cole after the show.
“Love Story” plays next and she records Taylor singing it while Trevor drapes his arms around her waist. She sings along to the song.
The song slows for the bridge and she sways in Trevor’s arms. He presses a kiss to her temple as the bridge transitions to the chorus for the last time. She feels him let her go as Taylor sings “Is this in my head? I don’t know what to think”.
Only the crowd around her begins to scream and turn their recording phones toward her as “He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring, and said” is sung. She turns around to find Trevor Zegras on one knee with a box in his hand.
In the box is a diamond ring.
Her hands fly to her mouth as Trevor sings along with Taylor on stage. She immediately begins to nod her head yes to accept the proposal as tears that she didn’t know were in her eyes roll down her cheeks.
Trevor stands up and takes the ring out of the box. He slides it into her left ring finger before she flings her arms around Trevor’s neck. He leans down and presses a deep but quick kiss to her lips. She cups his jaw as she kisses him back.
“I can’t believe you proposed to me during ‘Love Story’,” she comments without pulling back too far. “God, you’re such a romantic.”
He smiles. “You know you were thinking about it when we got tickets,” he replies. “I went out and got the ring the week after you secured the tickets. If I was ever going to propose to you, it was going to be at the Eras Tour.”
She leans up to press one more peck to his lips before she looks at the ring on her hand. It’s simple but it has enough sparkle to it. She never wanted a large diamond on her ring whenever she got engaged and Trevor knew it.
The rest of the show feels like an intense fever dream. It is probably the best day of her life. Well, it’s probably tied with Trevor getting drafted in 2019 but still. It’s one of the most important days of her life.

If anyone can rally up a base, it’s Taylor Swift.
When sexually explicit, likely AI-generated, fake images of Swift circulated on social media this week, it galvanized her fans. Swifties found phrases and hashtags related to the images and flooded them with videos and photos of Swift performing. “Protect Taylor Swift” went viral, trending as Swifties spoke out against not just the Swift deepfakes, but all nonconsensual, explicit images made of women.
Swift, arguably the most famous woman in the world right now, has become the high-profile victim of an all-too-frequent form of harassment. She has yet to comment on the photos publicly, but her status gives her power to wield in a situation where so many women have been left with little recourse. Deepfake porn is becoming more common as generative artificial intelligence gets better: 113,000 deepfake videos were uploaded to the most popular porn websites in the first nine months of 2023, a significant increase to the 73,000 videos uploaded throughout 2022. In 2019, research from a startup found that 96 percent of deepfakes on the internet were pornographic.
The content is easy to find on search engines and social media, and has affected other female celebrities and teenagers. Yet, many people don’t understand the full extent of the problem or its impact. Swift, and the media mania around her, has the potential to change that.
“It does feel like this could be one of those trigger events” that could lead to legal and societal changes around nonconsensual deepfakes, says Sam Gregory, executive director of Witness, a nonprofit organization focused on using images and videos for protecting human rights. But Gregory says people still don’t understand how common deepfake porn is, and how harmful and violating it can be to victims.
If anything, this deepfake disaster is reminiscent of the 2014 iCloud leak that led to nude photos of celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton spreading online, prompting calls for greater protections on people's digital identities. Apple ultimately ramped up security features.
A handful of states have laws around nonconsensual deepfakes, and there are moves to ban it on the federal level, too. Rep. Joseph Morelle (D-New York) has introduced a bill in Congress that would make it illegal to create and share deepfake porn without a person’s consent. Another House bill from Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-New York) seeks to give legal recourse to victims of deepfake porn. Rep. Tom Kean, Jr. (R-New Jersey), who in November introduced a bill that would require the labeling of AI content, used the viral Swift moment to draw attention to his efforts: “Whether the victim is Taylor Swift or any young person across our country—we need to establish safeguards to combat this alarming trend,” Kean said in a statement.
This isn’t the first time that Swift or Swifties have tried to hold platforms and people accountable. In 2017, Swift won a lawsuit she brought against a radio DJ who she claimed groped her during a meet-and-greet. She was awarded $1—the amount she sued for, and what her attorney Douglas Baldridge called a symbolic sum “the value of which is immeasurable to all women in this situation.”
Last fall, tens of thousands of people registered to vote after the superstar posted a link to Vote.org on Instagram. And in 2022, her fan base, so enraged after waiting hours to buy tickets to the Eras Tour only to be beaten out by bots, reignited conversation around antitrust issues with Ticketmaster and Live Nation’s mega-merger. A cringy Senate hearing followed, and an investigation into Live Nation’s agreements with venues and artists is ongoing.
Swift and her fans could advocate for legal changes at the federal level to pass. But their outrage could do something else: lead platforms to take notice. “When you have a really massive group of users saying this content is unacceptable in this very high-profile way, the power there is about what it says to the platform about what users will and won’t tolerate,” says Cailin O’Connor, a professor of philosophy at University of California, Irvine and coauthor of The Misinformation Age: How False Beliefs Spread. X did not respond to a request for comment on the images and its moderation efforts regarding deepfake porn. Elon Musk bought the site in 2022 and quickly gutted its moderation teams. Advertisers have also dropped off recently after Musk’s apparent endorsement of an antisemitic conspiracy theory.
It’s not clear whether Swift will take on this issue. A representative for Swift did not respond to a request for comment for this story. Harassment of female celebrities is frequent and often brushed aside, but deepfakes are harming them and others without the same power. This could be a moment for Swift to use her powerful platform—or at least for her fans to push the issue before the public.

The Seven Deadly Sins in the Hellverse.
According to Vivziepop, she explains that the 7 Deadly Sins represent each circus act.
1.
Lucifer Morningstar rules the Pride Ring and all of Hell as he represents the ringleader due to his status and attire. An app on Blitzo's phone that says "Lucimaster" probably the equivalent to ticketmaster as Lucifer owns a theme park called "Lu Lu World" and his wife, Lilith does concerts as there is a poster of her in the background in the Hazbin Hotel pilot episode.
2. Satan rules the Wrath Ring, though he never made a physical appearance, but he was mentioned several times by the characters as they use his name to swear and in the pilot episode of Helluva Boss a homeless imp is holding a sign that says "Monee Helps Satan Bless" he would be consider the imps' version of God. In episode "Ozzie's" there's an app on Blitzo's phone that says "Satan's Workouts" as he is mentioned by Beelzebub in "Queen Bee" that she saw him shirtless. Satan would represent the circus strongman.
3.
Beelzebub rules the Gluttony Ring and is Vortex's girlfriend. She throws a ton of crazy hound parties when Vortex mentions her in "Spring Broken". Vivziepop says that Beelzebub represents the animal tamer as she goes through hoops, which she does during the "Cotton Candy" song. An app on Blitzo's phone that says "Bee Eats" the app would be about food delivery.
4.
Mammon rules the Greed Ring, he owns a theme park called "Loo Loo Land" which is a rip-off of Lucifer's Lu Lu World. He represents a jester due to his obvious attire, an app on Blitzo's phone that says "Moneymakerz Bank" which is a banking app.
5.
Asmodeus or Ozzie or Ozz rules the Lust Ring. He is the owner of a club called "Ozzie's" and a factory called "Big Ozzie's Factory" which the sex toys and Robo Fizz at Loo Loo Land are created. He was also responsible of creating the Fizzarolli sex toys, much to his displeasure as it was for Fizz's likeness for Mammon.
When I watched a youtube video of this youtuber called Cartoon Universe as he says that Asmodeus represents a stage magician as he appears on the stage with smoke like most magicians do. The app on Blitzo's phone called "Lustinder" a parody of a real-life dating app called "Tinder". Asmodeus is also the keeper of Asmodean Crystals, a type of magical mineral that gives hellborn demons access to the human world.
6. Leviathan rules the Envy Ring. There's no information about him or the Envy Ring, but there were glimpses of deep sea demons in "Ozzie's", and a mother and son deep sea demon from "Western Energy". In "Mammon's Magnificent Mid-Season Special (ft. Fizzarolli)", the twins, Glitz and Glam might also be from the Envy Ring, because of their fish-features. An app on Blitzo's phone that says "EnVee" a parody to "TikTok".
7. Belphegor rules the Sloth Ring. She never made any physical appearance, but she was mention by Beelzebub when she couldn't convince her to use her party drugs when she wanted to throw a bigger party. Sloth Ring is home to the Baphomets, a candle-headed goat demon and where the medical buildings are located such as the St. An's Hospital in "Western Energy" when Blitzo takes Loona there to get her Hellbies shot and the Rehab Center in "Unhappy Campers" where Barbie Wire resides before she was released.
Cartoon Universe theorizes the Belphegor is a Baphomet and represent the bearded lady. In app on Blitzo's phone is called "Sleepy Pillz" which is to help you sleep better. Belphegor's name is alluded on Stolas' Happy Pills in "The Circus".

Hi BPP
Can you explain how dynamic pricing is enabled? Or why you blame Hybe for dynamic pricing? I've seen people blame everyone from MHJ to Ticketmaster to avoid blaming Hybe, people saying it's misinformation to be angry at Hobi and Hybe for insane high ticket prices. I think it's Ticketmaster getting the profits from dynamic pricing instead of Hobi or Hybe that's why they are to blame.
***
Dynamic pricing is a feature that artists/labels can choose to opt in or out of. The labels can even negotiate the terms of dynamic pricing, their mechanism of choice (how high prices can go through segmented, surge, or demand-based pricing), and how many tickets will be sold only at face value. Dynamic pricing is only implemented after Ticketmaster gets approval from the artist/label.
An explanation of how Ticketmaster's dynamic pricing works is included in the US Justice Department's anti-trust lawsuit (linked here). I've pasted the relevant excerpt here:
Also, profits from higher prices certainly go to the artist/label just as Ticketmaster also makes a higher profit through fees and commissions on higher priced tickets. I mean, just think about it - if an artist/label didn't get a portion of the higher profits, what would be the incentive for them to opt-in to the dynamic pricing feature?
I can understand fans not wanting to blame Hobi for the insane ticket prices, but the fact is that dynamic pricing remains an opt-in feature that artists and labels, in this case HYBE and possibly Hobi, have agreed to with the aim of reaping higher profits. It's possible to understand this, make your peace with it, without losing your head to contorted narratives.
I've been saying that ARMYs have become indistinguishable from k-pop stans in recent years and one way this shows up is in the decline of common sense positions. Two years ago I remember a huge faction of the fandom clearly understood how dynamic pricing worked and understood why HYBE choosing it was a worrying development. The fact I'm now seeing conspiracy theories claiming MHJ has anything to do with this, aside from being equal parts tragic and moronic, is also a bit scary.
This fandom is filled with millions of people and for a long time our strength was in our ability to parse through issues intelligently, organize around common sense solutions and remain focused on wanting to support BTS according to our means. But if a huge and increasing portion of this fandom is now easily susceptible to conspiracies, if we now have millions of people who can't discern fact from fallacy and that number is growing, then we might as well wrap this whole thing up and call it a day.
When BTS returns I expect this madness will calm down a bit, not because all these people have suddenly become less simple-minded, but because they've become distracted, because something else (aka BTS and the loads of content that keeps the fandom entertained) has returned to once again become the focus of their obsessive tendences.

★ scaredy cat.

₊˚ ᗢ synopsis; after the disbandment of your k-pop group OZEAN, you establish STR alongside your friends with the help of former musician ACER. with him as your producer, your curiosity about him leads to a change in your work-relationship.
⤷genres/warnings; smau, band/idol au, slow burn, secret identities, pining, fluff, angst, somewhat dirty humor (from childe), social media drama, scandals, harrassment, sfw, fem!reader.
⤷masterlist; previous + next.

placing your phone down on the bed, you pressed your face against your pillow. you can’t help but let out a few giggles, your legs instinctively kicking themselves up. not only were you going to be in a featured post and interview with teyvat vision, but you were one step closer to knowing who ACER was. squeezing your pillow, you flip yourself onto your back, staring up at the ceiling.
he has platinum hair that he ties back into a ponytail. his eyes are very pretty, so much so that you could get lost in them despite being across the room. and to top all of that, he has very nice hands. especially when he wears that silver thumb ring that he was padding against the base of his finger. oh, you were head over heels for him.
tilting your head slightly, you stare at the acer poster you’ve left on your wall. it had a few flakes on the edges but it was nothing terrible. it was aged. loved even. because of how often you’ve seen it, you’ve come to memorize all the dates for his old tour. it was a shame that during the time you went to see him, he canceled the show early due to a fan throwing a water bottle at him. the second time, someone had already bought the last of the tickets before you could procure the money. the third time, ticketmaster crashed and you were sobbing in your room distraught.
but now he’s your producer. you tighten your hold on your pillow, burying your face deeper into the plush surface. he’s working with you to make your dreams come true. kept you afloat when your old company sunk rock bottom. you owe him your entire career. had it not been for him, you wouldn’t know what would happen to you. you wouldn’t know if you would be able to crawl out of the dark hole you’ve dug for yourself during your time as a trainee.
the events that led to your decline. the stress that piled up on your chest. the unfortunate circumstances that created a dreary tunnel. when ayaka failed to notice the red blinking of the camera, your team was forced to kneel in the hallway as punishment. you hung your head low as ayaka mumbled with tears in her eyes, wiping them away with the back of her hand as lumine patted her shoulder. the time kokomi gained two pounds after celebrating your birthday, she was forced back into a strict diet that led to her collapsing in her apartment.
all of it would have been unbearable without his voice. his message. his love. you wouldn’t know where you’d be without him. and frankly, that scares you a little. you want to know if you could be more than just cofounders to a company. more than just partners under contracts. or if it is just a hopeless dream.
they said to never meet your idols.
your thoughts are cut off short when your phone buzzes, right when tomie slips through the crack of your door and into your covers. you sit up from your position, reaching out to hold onto her as you lift your phone.

My best friend ruined my first ever Stray Kids concert for me and I want to cry lmao
I won the Ticketmaster war for us and scored us both ATL tickets, booked and managed the hotel room, spent literal months planning to make sure everything went smoothly. Then we finally get to Atlanta and she treated me like crap the entire time and complained that the seats I picked at the concert were too far away from the stage.
Oh! And my favorite part. She was feeling a little down after the concert so I was like “let’s go get a drink” so we went to the bar nearby and she, along with our other friend, got hit on by these dudes within like 5 minutes of us being there. We went back to the hotel after and she was drunk and started crying about how Changbin didn’t notice her “because she was ugly” so I tried to lighten the mood by telling her she was gorgeous and saying she got hit on by a bunch of people tonight and that if anything I was the ugly one because no one interacted with me like that at all. She just went dead silent before basically confirming it by saying “well you have sharp features and don’t look young so people find that intimidating and won’t approach you.” Which, like, gee, thanks for weaponizing my biggest insecurity.
So TL/DR: My best friend ruined my Skz concert trip by being rude to me the entire time and then calling me ugly. And I can’t afford to go to another concert and try to re-do my experience because I spent all my money on her and this trip.
#my concert experience was ruined#and now I can’t afford to go to another one 🥲#I just wanted to enjoy the music and the concert vibe#Stray Kids#SKZ#Stay#Skz atl concert#rant

Hi scholars! I saw you were looking at tickets for Chicago.
There's a site my co-worker put me onto that is selling some Oasis tickets for shows in the UK, Irl and the US. There's doing some reasonable enough prices for Chicago.
The link is below. It's a UK based site and has a 3.8 star rating on Trust Pilot, so it seems legit.
h….ttps://seatpick.///com/oasis-and-cage-the-elephant-soldier-field-stadium-28-08-2025-tickets/event/364997?quantity=1
Hope it helps!
aww that's very sweet of you, thank you for thinking of us! we actually do have tickets for Chicago already, I've just been keeping an eye out for stray friends / curiosity.
that said -- for your sake and any others who might still be looking, PLEASE do not use sites like that! even if the ticket you buy somehow gets past the gig's "no scalped tickets" policy, you are being ripped off.
GA tickets for Chicago cost about [briefly lifting the veil I put over my traumatic memories] $250 after fees; that site appears to be charging $620 apiece.
genuinely: use the approved twickets or whatever ticketmaster's in-house resale feature is, it's not worth the risk or heartache.

Ticketmaster has a dream. A dream that one day, it will be “pleased to have partnered with” your child’s school, making it “easier for you to buy tickets” to the nativity play. Which will henceforth be known as the nativity experience. But listen – Ticketmaster wants to make the whole process run more smoothly, freeing you up to connect with the performers you love (your kids) while being “gifted” the paper cup that forms part of the package in these platinum seats (the tiny chairs from the classroom).
No, none of the standard seat tickets are still available. But you can upgrade to the ultimate VIP package, meaning you have access to the Bethlehem lounge (the reception reading corner) an hour before the event. If you want to experience magic this Christmas, do remember to clear all cookies, have only one tab open, and prepare nevertheless to be ejected from the queue four hours in after being accused of being a computer, by a computer.
So yes: Ticketmaster. After the Oasis tickets horror show last weekend, the row about the ticketing website this week developed into such a horror show that you could probably sell tickets to it. And if you could, Ticketmaster surely would, having previously handled ticketing for such fan-facing events as the crucifixion and French Revolution guillotinings (mandatory purchase from one of our knitting concessions). Sadly, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) doesn’t seem to recognise that rich heritage, opting to launch an investigation into Ticketmaster over Oasis ticket sales, “including how so-called ‘dynamic pricing’ may have been used”. Sarcastic scare-quotes: the CMA’s own.
I’m not saying the ticketing websites are quite simply the worst people in the world, even though I’d quite like to provoke Ticketmaster’s lawyer into writing a cease-and-desist letter listing much worse people from the 20th and 21st centuries. Listen, I already love this notional lawyer. Like a lot of people who draw a salary in his stratum of reality-laundering, he possibly tells himself he works in respectable business, but may be better off informing his parents he works in a more popular trade, like puppy-drowning or journalism.
Now, there are some companies in this world of ours that love to be talked about. But a feature of ticketing companies is that they don’t want anyone talking about them, because if people are talking, the talking is always bad. Nobody goes through a ticket purchase these days and wants to sing its praises. They get to the final scene of an absolute ring quest of an attempt to see an artist/show/ballgame they like, are faced with the last-minute news that, actually, their ticket is going to cost nearly three times as much as they thought, cycle through the five stages of grief while a little counter threatens to time them out, decide to pay the extra, and are left staring at the success screen thinking: “Fucking Ticketmaster.”
Obviously, it’s better if they say this on their own. Unfortunately for Ticketmaster, more and more people are saying it out loud, some of whom are the UK culture secretary, others of whom are the CMA, and the last of whom is the US attorney general, who in May launched a lawsuit against LiveNation-Ticketmaster seeking to break it up on grounds of “monopolisation and other unlawful conduct that thwarts competition in markets across the live entertainment industry”.
What its Department of Justice detractors don’t love about the firm is its ability to dictate to every part of the entertainment supply chain, from venues to artists to promoters, and that’s before you get into its role in the resale market. Unsurprisingly, this is not the vibe you get from the Ticketmaster website, which is a masterclass in that very particular self-pitying corporate tone. “The fees we charge,” it quavers, “are often the only revenue we get for making sure you can get the tickets to the events you love.” Oh no! Who’ll spare a thought for poor old Ticketmaster, simply trying to connect fans with their beloved artists, and surviving only on the coins thrown into its begging bowl? Counterpoint: this is a vast international firm headquartered in Beverly Hills, currently worth an estimated $22bn.
That’s enough cash to make you the proud licensee of some ultra-high-end euphemisms. “Processing fee”, “service fee”, “delivery fee” – truly it has 100 ways of saying “because-we-can fee”. If that feels like you accepting a wage for your job, then charging your boss a supplementary “doing my job” fee each time you feel you’re doing your job … try it, see how you get on! The fact is, Ticketmaster fees can be as high as 75% of the base price of the ticket. Arguably the worst euphemism of them all is “dynamic pricing”, which sounds buzzy and energetic, and something we’d all like to be involved in, until you realise that it means the £148 ticket you queued for hours for now costs £355 – and your favourite artist agreed it all via their management. Whatever they may now say (“Shut up”, in the case of Liam Gallagher.)
In the end, like most things with the word “experience” tacked on to them these days, the “fan experience” has become a soul-swallowing submission to getting rinsed and having to look grateful. But with so many hares now running on Ticketmaster and the practices of the wider ticketing industry, it would be nice to think we might be closer to better regulation in the interests of the customer. Record numbers of fans would buy tickets to that.
