I participated the Renegade Bindery's "Tiny Book bind-along" workshop and crafted two little cuties.

First time creating books this tiny, I learned a lot! I can't wait to make more of these fellas.

Extremely important breaking news: We recently realized we incorrectly reported our smallest book and have found an even smaller one!

Here is our copy of Earl Warren, Chief Justice of the United States: A Personal Memoir, by Francis J. Weber. This small book from Junipero Serra Press measures 2 1/4” tall, a whopping 1/2” shorter than our previously reported smallest book, The Inaugural Address of JFK. The memoir consists of ten tiny pages!

Happy birthday to Charlotte Brontë! The Brontë siblings liked to produce miniature magazines for Branwell's toy soldiers, which may have led Charlotte to later write "The Secret" and "Lily Hart" in this tiny script on eight small sheets of paper. Many years later, the Miniature Book Society published "The Scale of Genius," which describes these little books and is bound in a facsimile of "The Secret." As you can see from the first picture, the text is almost exactly the same size in both!

I recently visited Chicago and got to hang out with my buddy Patrick! We met in a bar called Rex Tavern, and each made a tiny book telling our version of the story of when we met. Jennifer (aka Moonbeam), the bartender who provided the markers, got to keep the tiny books.
