I redesigned my Possessor designs!

IDK where the widely accepted color scheme (Red, green, yellow/orange, Blue, Purple) came from so I went with the gem color pattern instead (Purple, Green, Red, Blue, Grey) and I think it looks ok

The Starlight Possessor

The Starlight Possessor is a female purple possessor, well, she’s called a Possessor, looks like a Possessor and has Possessor abilities, but is a Hybrid Ghost, Hybrid Ghosts are ghosts with traits from other ghosts, Starlight is part Creeper, part Poltergeist and part Possessor, she’s mostly Possessor with her Creeper traits showing mostly with her face and a special ability.

Starlight can split apart into little things she calls “Faeries”, these Faeries are small, glowing, butterfly-like particles, she has complete control over any Faerie that’s close to her, but once she gets out of range, they act on their own accord, mainly just fluttering around and acting more like moths or butterflies.

Starlight is naturally quite small, being only slightly larger then a Poltergeist if you don’t count her central horn, though her true height is unknown due to the fact that she usually has a mass amount of Faeries out at a time and the more Faeries she has out, the smaller she is.

Starlight seems to have a wonderful singing voice, it’s almost angelic, it’s to the point that some ghosts call her a Siren, though where Starlight goes when she enters the forest is unknown as of yet.

I’ll get back to you on that mysterious location later, but is seems that Starlight might not be the only ghost who resides deep within the forest, there’s been sightings of some yellow Faeries too, alongside the purple and orange ones.

you had a tough day at work, hoshi can see it in your face the second you walk through the door.

you wipe the last few tears and pull him in for a loving kiss. "thank you, baby. i love you so much."

hoshi sighs happily when your lips meet, feeling his heart burst with joy and warmth. "i love you too, beautiful."

"how about we take a nice bath and you tell me about your day?" you offer, standing up and reaching out for his hand.

so you go to your shared room and you run the bath while hoshi grabs two beers and a bottle of soju. you change into sad excuse for a bikini and wait for hoshi to come in.

Once more exorcising spirits or using them like WWX does, doesn't stop them from reincarnation, you all gotta stop this when the only thing that is said is if resurrected WWX doesn't fulfill his "term" HIS primordial soul is forever destroyed based on the usual points of Mo Dao usage that is performed by everyone else that is not Wei Wuxian (i.e. Jin Guangyao, Mo Xuanyu, Xue Yang and Su She).

The nature of this “sacrificial ritual” was a type of curse. The caster was to harm themselves with a weapon, making cuts on their body and using their own blood to draw the array and write the spells within. They would then sit in the center of the circle and give up their mortal body to evil spirits, using the annihilation of their soul as the price to summon a nefarious, malicious ghost. This was all done in order to request the fulfillment of a wish. Thus, it was the opposite of “possession.”

This is the part that I can see confusing others, but, with doaist belief, there are several souls, the human (living one, the three hun and seven po that remain in death). Mo Xunayu did not sacrifice his right of reincarnation just the living one he had at the time, and frankly the one that is cared about in the moment as that is where karma is accrued in order to be judged throughout the circles of Diyu until a soul is purged clean to enter their next reincarnation cycle, samsara. Your karma only follows you based on what you did in your wordly life in consequence and a soul is thusly free to garner further negativity or, better itself to enter the next samsara. When it comes to the Po that stay it can be for any reason, and are liable to rise apart from the "human" as they are only the emotions left at the time of death or, of the "human" daily actions that were strongest. Once the hun souls (these ARE essentially the parts of the person that are essential in spirit and is the primordial existence of that life) are all reunited within Diyu, the human can move on. The Pocan still roam the world and why funerary rights and respect are performed and met.

While both were forbidden magics of ill repute, the difference was that the former was much less popular than the latter. After all, few wishes were so strongly desired as to make someone willingly sacrifice everything they had. This was why the technique had been nearly lost after centuries of disuse. The examples recorded in ancient books had only a handful of cases that were backed by reliable evidence, and every single one of them had been for revenge. Every malicious ghost summoned by the ritual had fulfilled the caster’s wishes perfectly, in cruel and bloody ways.

He also did not make anything to do with this ritual or any of the actual mo dao curses (a whole one which we see in book which is the one hundred holes and what it's backlash is for Su Shi using it). What Mo Xuanyu does is also true Mo Dao as it is manipulating the primordial spirit self of another and his human existence. It is a disruption of several Samsara and consequence that will be righted, good or bad for either. Wei Wuxian's cycle just started anew sooner as he was given life again and paid for his karma with his previous death, as reiterated through the novel and himself. Mo Xuanyu has only swapped their places in samsara and death and life.

But the tough thing was, the Sacrificial Ritual followed the will of the caster first and foremost. So it didn’t matter how much he objected… He was already inside this body, which was a silent acknowledgement that both parties had formed a contract. He had to fulfill the wish of the caster, or the curse would rebound, destroying the possessor’s primordial spirit and extinguishing it forever.

Following the rules of karma and Samsara, Mo Xuanyu already gave his place in the human world, he fulfilled his part of the ritual as needed and will eventually reincarnate based on whatever karma he accrued in that life. Wei Wuxian still has to fulfill the wants of that sacrifice before he is free to do as he wants as his primordial humanity is what will be destroyed, the part that always is made to enter Diyu in order to reincarnate.

In all of this, it is not gui dao, as gui dao uses what is already in existence in order to be used with the many Po souls that can arise and still be found in the likes of graves and disturbed places. Po can be disturbed even after years of rest and why you also do not bring negativity into temples, ancestral worship places and areas, or the graves itself. Po being the emotionality left to the world are prone to aggression and can make themselves rise as jiangshi 僵尸, stiff corpse, or as the work calls mutations of them 走尸, zou shi, walking corpse and 凶尸, xiong shi, fierce corpse. None of these retain human characteristics other than the po it relies on that already have existed before Wei Wuxian was present.

Second of all, I am sorry that I've dragged you down the High Valyrian path! It's a fascinating language, I find it really interesting because there's a lot about the grammatical structure that mimics Latin (instead of English's Subject-Verb-Object agreement, HV has a Subject–Object–Verb agreement). The inflections can be tough to get your head around (adjectives and nouns for number, case and gender, and verbs for person, number, tense, voice, and mood), but it does get easier! As long as you remember to re-order the words in the original sentence, you'll do fine.

High Valyrian is a strongly head-final language. In general:

Verbs follow their direct objects and adverbs which modify them;

Nouns follow the adjectives, demonstratives, possessors (genitive modifiers), locative modifiers, adpositional phrases and relative clauses which modify them;

Possessees follow possessors;

Adjectives follow the adverbs and adpositions which modify them;

And most adpositions are postpositions, with only a few prepositions occurring.

Here's an example!

English: "I want to go with you."

High Valyrian: "Aōma aeragon jaelan."

In HV, finite verbs are conjugated to allow for implied personal pronoun usage, so you don't have to explicitly use 'I' in the translated sentence because the verb combo of [I want] will account for it. Unless, of course, you're looking to place emphasis on 'I'! So:

[I] want = verb, finite active present tense, first-person

[to] go = verb, complementary infinitive present tense

[with] you = object, comitative case (loosely refers to "with" [noun] or "along with" [noun] combo)

Rearrange these into the right agreement - SOV. The Subject is implied here, so the sentence becomes Object-Verb. [to] go is a complementary infinitive, which means it is used to complete the meaning of the verb '[I] want' and thus acts as another object.

"I want to go with you." = "[with] you [to] go [I] want."

Seek out the correct translations in the tables for each word in the High Valyrian dictionary.

[with] you = aōma

[to] go = aeragon

[I] want = jaelan

Complete the final phrase.

"I want to go with you." = "Aōma aeragon jaelan."

I wanted to put together a little history of Birchwood Farms. So these will probably come as random updates here and there with a blurb about Birchwood Farms whenever a creative spark strikes.

Birchwood Farms is nestled into the gentle bluegrass covered fields of central Kentucky outside of Lexington. The farm was founded by the Birchwood family in 1962. Its original purpose was to be a Saddlebred breeding facility, and was such for decades. But time can thin family lines. Economy goes up and it plummets back down. The Saddlebred industry became a ghost of what it once was. Yet, Birchwood Farms stayed true and strong and became one of the top Saddlebred producers on the east side of the Mississippi River.

It wasn’t until almost six years ago when Gerald and Diane Birchwood passed away tragically in a car accident. Their only son River was away, and had been away for a very long time, studying “equine business management” in Poland. Really he was out partying and trying to find every horse centered event he could attend. Dressage and show jumping being two favorites. And the Arabian horses, oh how he fell in love with them. And a certain Arabian horse trainer. But then he received the call that changed his life forever.

Whether he liked it or not, River was now the sole possessor of not only his family’s fortune, but the family estate: Birchwood Farms. He had the option to sell it, or he could just take ownership. River chose the latter. But with that choice came more tough choices. He had to decide what to do with the Farms now that he had it. Saddlebred horses held a place in his heart but they weren’t his passion. He was only 28 years old, he didn’t even know what his passion was, but then he remembered the Polish National Arabian Horse show and that certain trainer and he thought about it again. Maybe he did have a passion.

The decision to sell the remainder of the Saddlebreds was a hard one, but one he’s not yet regretted. Sneaker x Greenie: Probably the most popular one, or at least the one I saw most fan arts of. They’re pretty much the cunning trickster and the happy-go-lucky goofball. I get why people like their dynamic so much because I headcanon these two as best friends lmao, but as a couple I’m just "ok"

Slammer x Hider: Brawn and brain, pretty much. I mean, why not? Plus I like the complimentary physical differences, Slammer is your typical muscular bully looking guy, and Hider is the as thin as a matchstick guy. So why not?

Sneaker x Hider: Sneaker would win Hider’s hide-and-seek game by scaring the death out of him. Otherwise, I think it’s because of their pointy head? Okay ship

Greenie x Hider: So, the ship itself isn’t bad, but. I saw things.

Luigi’s Mansion Ghost Head-cannons PT10 - Da Fuck are Genetics

So, Ghost Type rarely matters for ghost family dynamics, as seen, we have the families of every Possessor and a trio of brothers. Two of the same ghost type can have a child that’s a very different type, though I have never seen a Portrait Ghost come from a pairing of non-portrait ghosts, nor have I seen a Possessor parent have their children be any other type besides Possessor or Hybrid so it’s safe to assume that there’s a genetic hierarchy.

first family is the Grouchy Possessor’s, he’s a Possessor, purple in color, his parents are both Greenies however, those Greenie’s names are Clara and Danny, they don’t seem to have passed on any traits to their son, odd.

second family is the Harsh Possessor’s, another Possessor, green in color, his parents are a Sneaker and a blue ghost known as a Goob, the Sneaker’s name is Belle, whilst the Goob’s name is Robby, again, no physical traits, but there is a gentlemanly attitude that seems to have been learned from the father.

third family is the Overset and Tough Possessors’, more Possessors, Overset is a reddish orangey color, whilst his older sister is pure white, their parents are a Hider and an orange Possessor, the Hider is named Darla whilst the Orange Possessor is named Darren, Darren is a really nice guy, found out that Overset’s name is Wyatt and Tough’s name is Medousa. Unlike the other two families, they seem to have the same crooked central horn as their father, plus they are both Possessors like their father, seemingly the horn shape of a Possessor is genetically passed down to their young.

fourth family is the Shrewd Possessor’s, more Possessors, Shrewd apparently has a twin brother, an identical twin, which is kinda odd to see as it’s quite rare, let’s call this twin the Scornful Possessor until we find out his actual name. Their parents are a Valley Portrait and a Sneaker, Valley Portraits are a sub-type of Portrait Ghosts exclusive to Evershade, the Valley Portrait is named Sarrah and the Sneaker is named… Shuu… I wish I was joking, but that’s his actual name, it’s funny, don’t get me wrong, but yeah, his name is Shuu. Once again, no traits are passed down.

let’s get away from the Possessor for a little bit, the fith family is of the Ghost Brothers, these brothers are a Greenie named Alex, a Slammer named Harry and a Gobber named Jacob, their parents are a Sneaker and a Greenie, the Sneaker is named Hershy and the father is named Gordon. First time we get to see multiple ghost types for this, only one brother has any resemblance to their parents and that’s the eldest, Alex, being a Greenie just like his father.

now sorta back to the Possessors, sixth family the Flower Twins, a pair of hybrid twins, their parents are a Poltergeist and a Creeper, the Poltergeist is named Margret and the Creeper is named Clyde. This time they do have traits from their parents, they are dual-toned like their mother and they clearly have a face like their father, yet they have some very strong Possessor traits, how Hybrids come to be is still a mystery, unfortunately, but maybe researching more into the Flower Twin’s family will help to unravel this mystery.

The “Ivory” being placed in this description is able to show how “paleness” was considered a true beauty and more powerful. Tom Driscoll, being placed as a master and more powerful? despite giving his power to gambling, shows that the color of his skin gave him his privilege and anything more. This blade can be represented of white supremacy, as a norm, because of how the white ivory is handled with care and seen as beautiful - another ideology similar to this description would be white supremacy. How white people are the superior race, how men are above all, also the repetition of white peoples being the superior and all above race - harming other races in the process of this mindset and ideology.

Having a broad and murderous blade is also the hint of white supremacy, as having murderous intent such as lynching of African Americans and constant verbal and physical abuse is the murderous intent created by the knife or white supremacy.

Lastly what I noticed, the word “possessors” create a significant relationship between a white master and either a slave or a free person still working under the chains of a white master. “Possessors” creates that tension and relationship between the imbalance a master would have with their own slaves. A master has possession over another human, making them dependent on them and showing how harmful their difference of privilege could and can be.
