Part of the third main expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game (titled "Mystery of the Fossils" in Japanese). It's the first Pokémon card with no attacks of its own, which was why this card wasn't included in the Pokémon Trading Card Game video games. It came in both holofoil and non-holo forms.

The Emergence of NFTs: Transforming Digital Ownership and Creativity
Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) have revolutionized the way we think about digital ownership, art, and collectibles. By leveraging blockchain technology, NFTs provide a way to create, buy, sell, and own unique digital assets with verifiable provenance and scarcity. This article explores the world of NFTs, their impact on various industries, key benefits and challenges, and notable projects, including a brief mention of Sexy Meme Coin.
What Are NFTs?
NFTs, or Non-Fungible Tokens, are unique digital assets that represent ownership of a specific item or piece of content, such as art, music, videos, virtual real estate, and more. Unlike cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum, which are fungible and can be exchanged on a one-to-one basis, NFTs are indivisible and unique. Each NFT is recorded on a blockchain, ensuring transparency, security, and verifiability of ownership.
The Rise of NFTs
NFTs gained mainstream attention in 2021 when digital artist Beeple sold an NFT artwork for $69 million at Christie's auction house. This landmark event highlighted the potential of NFTs to transform the art world by providing artists with new revenue streams and collectors with verifiable digital ownership.
Since then, NFTs have exploded in popularity, with various industries exploring their potential applications. From gaming and music to real estate and fashion, NFTs are creating new opportunities for creators, businesses, and investors.
Key Benefits of NFTs
Digital Ownership: NFTs provide a way to establish true digital ownership of assets. Each NFT is unique and can be traced back to its original creator, ensuring authenticity and provenance. This is particularly valuable in the art and collectibles market, where forgery and fraud are significant concerns.
Monetization for Creators: NFTs enable creators to monetize their digital content directly. Artists, musicians, and other content creators can sell their work as NFTs, earning revenue without relying on intermediaries. Additionally, smart contracts can be programmed to provide creators with royalties each time their NFT is resold, ensuring ongoing income.
Interoperability: NFTs can be used across different platforms and ecosystems, allowing for interoperability in the digital world. For example, NFTs representing in-game items can be traded or used across multiple games and virtual worlds, enhancing their utility and value.
Scarcity and Collectibility: NFTs introduce scarcity into the digital realm by creating limited editions or one-of-a-kind items. This scarcity drives the collectibility of NFTs, similar to physical collectibles like rare coins or trading cards.
Challenges Facing NFTs
Environmental Impact: The creation and trading of NFTs, especially on energy-intensive blockchains like Ethereum, have raised concerns about their environmental impact. Efforts are being made to develop more sustainable blockchain solutions, such as Ethereum's transition to a proof-of-stake consensus mechanism.
Market Volatility: The NFT market is highly speculative and can be volatile. Prices for NFTs can fluctuate significantly based on trends, demand, and market sentiment. This volatility poses risks for both creators and investors.
Intellectual Property Issues: NFTs can raise complex intellectual property issues, particularly when it comes to verifying the rightful owner or creator of the digital content. Ensuring that NFTs are legally compliant and respect intellectual property rights is crucial.
Access and Inclusivity: The high costs associated with minting and purchasing NFTs can limit accessibility for some creators and collectors. Reducing these barriers is essential for fostering a more inclusive NFT ecosystem.
Notable NFT Projects
CryptoPunks: CryptoPunks are one of the earliest and most iconic NFT projects. Created by Larva Labs, CryptoPunks are 10,000 unique 24x24 pixel art characters that have become highly sought-after collectibles.
Bored Ape Yacht Club: Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) is a popular NFT collection featuring 10,000 unique hand-drawn ape avatars. Owners of these NFTs gain access to exclusive events and benefits, creating a strong community around the project.
Decentraland: Decentraland is a virtual world where users can buy, sell, and develop virtual real estate as NFTs. This platform allows for the creation of virtual experiences, games, and social spaces, showcasing the potential of NFTs in the metaverse.
NBA Top Shot: NBA Top Shot is a platform that allows users to buy, sell, and trade officially licensed NBA collectible highlights. These video clips, known as "moments," are sold as NFTs and have become popular among sports fans and collectors.
Sexy Meme Coin (SXYM): Sexy Meme Coin integrates NFTs into its platform, offering a decentralized marketplace where users can buy, sell, and trade memes as NFTs. This unique approach combines humor and finance, adding a distinct flavor to the NFT landscape. Learn more about Sexy Meme Coin at Sexy Meme Coin.
The Future of NFTs
The future of NFTs is bright, with continuous innovation and expanding use cases. As technology advances and more industries explore the potential of NFTs, we can expect to see new applications and opportunities emerge. From virtual fashion and digital identities to decentralized finance (DeFi) and beyond, NFTs are poised to reshape various aspects of our digital lives.
Efforts to address environmental concerns, improve accessibility, and ensure legal compliance will be crucial for the sustainable growth of the NFT ecosystem. Collaboration between creators, platforms, and regulators will help build a more robust and inclusive market.
Conclusion
NFTs have ushered in a new era of digital ownership, creativity, and innovation. By providing verifiable ownership and provenance, NFTs are transforming industries ranging from art and entertainment to gaming and virtual real estate. While challenges remain, the potential benefits of NFTs and their ability to empower creators and engage communities make them a significant force in the digital economy.

Board game nights where their competitive sides come out
WITH JASON PLS like late night after campers are all asleep board game session???? (If you so choose🥹)
Ok bye for now
FRIENDLY FIRE | JASON HOCHBERG
summary: you and Jason go head to head
The cabin was quiet, the only sounds the soft rustle of the pines outside and the rhythmic click, click, click of dice against wood. The rest of the camp was asleep, or at least, they were supposed to be. You and Jason, however, were wide awake, locked in a battle of wits and strategy. The game of choice tonight? Settlers of Catan.
Jason, usually the picture of slightly awkward, endearing camp counselor, was transformed. His brow was furrowed in concentration, his eyes narrowed with a competitive fire you hadn't quite seen before. He wasn't the Jason who struggled to connect with the teenage counselors; he was a cunning strategist, a ruthless negotiator, a force to be reckoned with.
"Okay, okay," he said, his voice low, a conspiratorial whisper in the stillness of the cabin. "I'll trade you two wheat for one ore."
You raised an eyebrow, leaning back in your chair. The single, dim lantern cast long shadows across the game board, highlighting the colorful resource cards in your hand. "Two wheat? Jason, you know I'm swimming in wheat. I need ore, badly, but not that badly."
He sighed dramatically, running a hand through his already slightly disheveled hair. "Fine, fine. One wheat for one ore. But that's my final offer."
You considered it for a moment, tapping a finger against your chin. The offer was tempting, but you knew you could squeeze a little more out of him. "Throw in a sheep, and you've got a deal."
Jason's eyes widened slightly. "A sheep? That's highway robbery!"
"It's called negotiation, Hochberg," you said with a smirk, a playful glint in your eyes. "And you know you want this settlement."
He groaned, but a small smile played on his lips. "Fine. One wheat, one ore, and one very valuable sheep. But if you beat me, I'm blaming this trade."
"Deal," you said, reaching across the table to shake his hand. His hand was warm, calloused slightly from camp work, and a strange thrill shot through you at the contact. You quickly pulled your hand back, focusing on the game.
The game continued, the tension building with each roll of the dice. Jason was a surprisingly formidable opponent, blocking your settlements, stealing your resources, and generally making your life difficult. But you were determined to win. You'd spent countless summer nights at Camp Pineway, honing your board game skills against generations of counselors. You weren't about to lose to Jason Hochberg.
Hours passed, marked only by the shifting shadows in the cabin and the dwindling pile of resource cards. The game was close, neck-and-neck. You could feel the adrenaline coursing through your veins, your heart pounding in your chest. This wasn't just a game; it was a battle of wills.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, you were one point away from victory. You needed just one more settlement, one more strategic placement of your little wooden house, and the game would be yours.
Jason watched you intently, his expression unreadable. He knew you were close, and you could feel his competitive energy radiating across the table. It was almost…palpable.
You carefully surveyed the board, your eyes scanning the hexagonal tiles, searching for the perfect spot. You found it: a prime piece of real estate, bordering a wheat field, a forest, and a hill. It was perfect.
With a triumphant grin, you placed your final settlement on the board. "Victory is mine!" you declared, throwing your hands up in the air.
Jason slumped back in his chair, feigning defeat. "No! How could this happen? I was so close!"
"Beginner's luck," you teased, gathering up your victory points.
He chuckled, the sound warm and genuine in the quiet cabin. "Beginner's luck, my foot. You're a shark. A Catan-playing shark."
"And you're a good sport," you said, smiling at him. "Despite your…questionable trading strategies."
He grinned. "Hey, a guy's gotta try, right?" He leaned back in his chair, stretching his arms above his head. "Well, that was fun. We should do this again sometime."
"Definitely," you agreed, already looking forward to your next late-night game session. There was something about the quiet intimacy of those late-night hours, the shared laughter and friendly competition, that you found…strangely appealing.
As you started to pack up the game, Jason reached across the table, his fingers brushing against yours. A spark of electricity shot through you, and you quickly pulled your hand away, your cheeks flushing slightly.
"Thanks for the game," he said, his voice soft. "It was…nice."
"Yeah, you too," you replied, your voice barely above a whisper. You couldn't meet his gaze, your heart was beating too fast.
There was a moment of silence, a charged, unspoken connection hanging in the air between you. The only sound was the gentle ticking of the lantern, counting down the seconds until dawn.
Finally, Jason stood up, breaking the spell. "Well, I should probably…get some sleep. Big day tomorrow."
"Right, yeah, me too," you said, standing up as well. You gathered the last of the game pieces, your hands trembling slightly.
You walked to the door of the cabin, the cool night air hitting your face. You turned to say goodnight, and Jason was standing there, his eyes fixed on you.
"Goodnight, (Y/N)," he said, his voice low and sincere.
"Goodnight, Jason," you replied, your voice barely a whisper.
You stepped out of the cabin, the image of Jason's face burned into your memory. You couldn't deny it any longer: you were starting to feel something for the slightly awkward, surprisingly competitive camp counselor. And you had a feeling he felt it too.
The next day, camp life resumed its usual chaotic rhythm. The campers woke up, ready for another day of activities, and the counselors sprang into action, leading hikes, teaching crafts, and refereeing endless games of capture the flag. You and Jason were both caught up in the whirlwind of camp duties, but you couldn't shake the memory of your late-night game.
Every time you caught Jason's eye, a shy smile would play on his lips, and your heart would skip a beat. You found yourself looking for excuses to be near him, to talk to him, to simply be in his presence.
That evening, after the campers were tucked into bed and the campfire stories had ended, you found yourself drawn back to the cabin where you and Jason had played Catan. You weren't sure why, but you felt a strange pull, a sense of unfinished business.
As you approached the cabin, you saw a light flickering inside. Your heart leaped with anticipation. Was Jason still up?
You hesitated for a moment, your hand hovering over the doorknob. What if he wasn't there? What if you were just imagining things?
Taking a deep breath, you pushed the door open and stepped inside.
Jason was sitting at the table, the same lantern casting the same warm glow on his face. He looked up as you entered, his eyes widening slightly.
"(Y/N)? What are you doing here?" he asked, his voice a mixture of surprise and…something else. Hope?
"I…I don't know," you stammered, feeling suddenly shy. "I just…I couldn't sleep. I guess I just wanted to…come back here."
Jason smiled, a soft, genuine smile that made your heart melt. "Me too," he said. "I couldn't stop thinking about last night. About…you."
He stood up and walked towards you, his steps slow and deliberate. You stood frozen, your heart pounding in your chest, your breath catching in your throat.
He stopped just a few feet away from you, his eyes searching yours. "I know this is probably crazy," he said, his voice low and earnest. "But I feel like…like we have something special. Something…real."
You couldn't speak, your emotions were overwhelming you. You had never felt this way about anyone before. It was a mixture of excitement, nervousness, and a deep, undeniable connection.
Jason reached out and gently took your hand in his. His touch sent a shiver down your spine.
"Can I…can I kiss you?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
You nodded, your eyes filling with tears.
Jason leaned in, his lips soft and tentative against yours. It was a gentle kiss, a sweet and tender moment that felt like coming home.
As you kissed, all the doubts and uncertainties melted away. You knew, in that moment, that you and Jason were meant to be. The late-night game, the shared laughter, the competitive spirit…it had all led to this.
The kiss deepened, becoming more passionate, more urgent. You wrapped your arms around Jason's neck, pulling him closer, never wanting this moment to end.
Finally, you broke apart, gasping for breath, your foreheads resting against each other.
"Wow," Jason whispered, his voice hoarse.
"Wow is right," you said, your voice trembling.
You looked at Jason, really looked at him, and saw a depth of emotion in his eyes that mirrored your own. You knew that this was just the beginning of something amazing, something that would change your life forever.
And it all started with a simple board game, a late-night battle of wits, and a shared love for the quiet magic of Camp Pineway.

[ID: Monochromatic digital painting. A fake Yu-Gi-Oh card design for San Jose Barracuda/Sharks player Daniil Gushchin. It consists of three boxes; one for the title, the card art, and the card description.
The card name reads “GOOSH”, the card type is denoted by a tiny San Jose Sharks logo. It is a 6-star card, indicated by the stars stacked between the title and art boxes. The art box is an anime-style bust portrait of Gushchin in his Barracuda jersey holding a knife in his teeth. An anime starburst obscures his right eye. He makes a mischievous expression at the viewer. The card background is a tiled pattern of goose silhouettes, a reference to “Untitled Goose Game”, a video game in which the player takes control of a goose and causes problems on purpose.
The card description box reads: [SHARKUDA / EFFECT] This card cannot be Normal Summoned unless the [PRESEASON] or [TRADE DEADLINE] spell cards are in play. If there are seven or more [SHARK] cards in your graveyard, this card may be Call Up Summoned.
*Once per turn activate one of three effects:
CHOOSE VIOLENCE: create and play the [SCRUM] spell card.
PUCK LUCK: create one [SCORING CHANCE] spell card in your hand and one [HIT THE POST/ CROSSBAR] trap card in your opponent’s hand.
THE GOOSE IS LOOSE: automatically activate this effect after five turns. Play your heart out. Work and work and work to get your shot. Your opponent gains a [REASSIGN] trap card.
The card description box is divided with a line near the bottom. Text reads: SKILL / 5000 - WILL / 8000 - SIZE / 900. /. End ID.]
my piece for @18minutemajor for the Sharkudablr Gift Exchange <3 Your art inspires me every single day and particularly gave me the kick I needed to start practicing my ink/line art + anime style again. The rationale behind this piece was I remember you had a giggle at my Wekky trap card doodle + we both appreciate Goosh very much. I hope you like this, I had so much fun designing and writing it!
GLOSSARY:
[PRESEASON] Spell card: Given to the player who takes their turn first. No units may engage in battle until this card has been played. For six turns, Prospect/Hybrid units may be Normal Summoned.
[TRADE DEADLINE] Spell card: This card is mandatory for every deck in the [STANDARD NHL FORMAT]. This card must be played within 10 turns of being drawn. For the rest of the game, all [TRADE] effects can no longer be activated. Prospect units may be Call Up Summoned. Once played, all [TRADE DEADLINE] cards transform into [SHIFT CHANGE] cards.
[SHIFT CHANGE] spell card: exchange any unit in play for a unit in hand. Units in hand recalled by [SHIFT CHANGE] may not be Normal Summoned for 3 turns.
[SCRUM] Spell card: all units in play attack the nearest opposing unit.
[SCORING CHANCE] Spell card: attack the opponent’s net directly.
[HIT THE POST/CROSSBAR] Trap card: any unit attacking your net has their Attack Power reduced to 0 at no cost to your Goalie unit in play.
[REASSIGN] Trap card: send one of the opponent’s units in play to the bottom of their deck.

Hii,could you please write the second part of No more worth than you fic . Lyra's recovery
(Not worth more than you) (Lyras recovery)
Lyra woke to the dull hiss of the heart monitor and the soft click of footsteps on linoleum. The first thing she saw was Grayson’s face—pale, exhausted, but utterly relieved—as he leaned forward to brush a damp curl from her forehead.
“Good morning,” he whispered, voice thick with unshed tears.
She managed a weak smile. Hospital gowns and bruises couldn’t dull the sight of him sitting there, unwilling to leave her side for a single second. Over the past four days, he had slept in that plastic visitor’s chair, stood guard at every shift change, and talked her through the pain of two broken ribs and a lingering concussion.
When the nurse arrived with discharge papers, Grayson refused even to blink. Within an hour, he had helped Lyra into sweatpants—her first real clothes in nearly a week—and wheeled her out of Hospital toward the sleek black car waiting for them.
At Hawthorne House, the foyer’s marble floors gleamed beneath the chandelier as Gigi sprung from around a column with a lavender bouquet in hand. Avery followed close behind with a tray of “doctor‑approved” oatmeal cookies, each one labeled in her precise handwriting.
“Welcome home, Crash Queen,” Gigi teased, adjusting Lyra’s pillows as she settled into a plush wheelchair.
Max arrived next with a stack of cheesy romance novels—“Healing therapy,” she declared—while Jameson handed over a card scribbled with an apology that read, “Sorry I didn’t harass Grayson enough. Welcome back!” Xander lingered at the back of the group, blueprints for a battery‑operated snack dispenser clutched in both hands.
“Room service prototype,” he announced proudly. “No more midnight ice cream runs.”
Lyra laughed so hard her ribs protested. Grayson swept her up in his arms, careful where he held her, and carried her down the hall to their bedroom, which had been transformed into a recovery suite. Silk pillows filled the bed, soft blankets were draped at the foot, and on a nearby table stood glasses of water, pain medication, and framed photographs of happier, unbroken days.
Over the next few days, Hawthorne House became Lyra’s sanctuary. Avery read to her from Max’s novels while Savannah administered gentle stretches to keep her ribs from stiffening. Jameson dropped in with fresh playlists under the title “Don’t Do That Again,” and Libby delivered gourmet smoothies she swore would speed healing. Even Xander’s snack dispenser—now fully operational—offered bowls of fresh fruit and ginger tea on demand.
Every afternoon, Grayson wheeled Lyra into the sunroom, where shafts of light warmed her skin and the scent of magnolia drifted through open windows. He read aloud—poems, short stories, whatever she wanted—his voice the calm anchor in her storm of pain and frustration. When she dozed, he let her rest against him, one arm around her shoulders, the other holding her hand so tightly she could feel his heartbeat.
On the seventh night at home, the whole family gathered in the living room for a “Light‑Hearted Game Night.” Gigi brewed chamomile tea; Avery organized charades; Max filled popcorn bowls; Jameson delivered tragic backstories for every clue; and Xander proudly demonstrated the snack dispenser’s upgraded milkshake function. When musical pillows devolved into tickle wars, Lyra laughed until tears slipped down her cheeks—each peal of joy trading pain for pure relief.
Grayson scooped her into his lap, pressing a gentle kiss to her temple. “Too much?”
“Just enough,” she panted, draping an arm around his neck.
By the time the candles burned low, Lyra felt stronger than she had in days. That evening, she and Grayson slipped out onto the balcony, the Texas sky streaked with pink and orange. He wrapped her in his arms and held her close, his fingers tracing the line of stitches at her temple.
“I thought I’d lost you,” he murmured. “I don’t ever want to be without you again.”
“I’m here,” she whispered against his chest. “I’m not going anywhere.”
He pressed a soft kiss to her hair. “Home is wherever we heal together.”
And in that golden dusk, with hospital walls and Hawthorne wings behind them, they found their home in each other’s unbreakable embrace.

this post was entirely inspired by this masterpiece
what's in my bag in my hogwarts dr ?
sooo... this bag is definitely equipped with an extension charm (and some other, maybe not entirely legal or ethical enhancements and defences). otherwise, there would be no way all of this could fit. but what can i say, i like a petite purse but always feel the need to carry anything and everything with me at all times. who knows when you might need it.
let's get to it !!
. . . glitter gel pens and vanilla scented parchment
. . . a big bottle of calming draught
. . . lipgloss called 'lumos' with gold shimmers from some obscure german brand
. . . another lipgloss pansy and i made in potions class instead of doing our assignment in third year. we got detention. totally worth it.
. . . spare gloves made from werespider silk
. . . two-way compact mirror that is connected to pansy's and daphne's matching ones (this is definitely for more important purposes than getting live updates on gossip)
. . . a peacock feather quill draco gifted me for my 13th birthday
. . . two letters from my grandmother i 'forgot' to open
. . . a tarot deck that is probably cursed but has never lied to me personally

Circle of Sports Homebrew
Have been wanting to whip this up since last week's episode. I love the circle of sports. Used the circle of stars as a base, even though circle of spores is the more obvious typo lol. Enjoy!
Druid: Circle of Sports
Since the first being aspired to test their might, hone their skill, and chase the thrill of victory, the power of sports has shaped the planes.
None understand this better than the druids of the Circle of Sports, students of the Plane of Sports. These druids have balled since time immemorial, dunking with primordials and discovering lost secrets in the ancient temples of gains. By honoring sportsmanship, competition, and the purity of the big man taking the rock all the way to the points hole, the Circle of Sports pursue teamwork, self-betterment, and a dynamic universe full of excitement and challenge.
Many druids of this circle keep records of the Great Games of the world, feats of strength and sportsmanship that ring forever in the legendary Hall of Fame at the heart of the Plane of Sports. They contend these records hold the spirits of those who came before, and can serve as markers, clues, and guides to what is possible. Shrines, gyms, trophies, trading cards, or artifacts signed by heroes long passed are both defended and sought after by these sages, scoundrels, and adventurers alike. Other druids seek to place their own names in the Hall of Fame and pave the way for heroes yet to come.
Sports Trance
When you join this circle at 2nd level you form a link to the Plane of Sports that grants you proficiency in Athletics and doubles your proficiency bonus for any check made using Athletics. If you already have proficiency in Athletics you may gain proficiency in a different skill of your choice.
Additionally, you learn to ascend your consciousness to the sequestered Plane of Sports and enter a sports trance. While in this trance your body becomes a Tiny sports-related object of your choice, with resistance to all damage, that can be used as a simple melee weapon that deals 1d8 bludgeoning damage and has the finesse, light, and thrown properties (range 20/60).
While in this state you are unconscious, but can be roused as if from sleep, ending the trance. You can complete a long rest in 4 hours, if you spend those hours in this trance.
Circle Spells
The pure energy from the Plane of Sports grants you access to some spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Circle of Sports Spells table.
Once you gain access to one of these spells, you always have it prepared, and it doesn't count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. If you gain access to a spell that doesn't appear on the Druid Spell List, the spell is nonetheless a druid spell for you.
Druid Level - Spells
2nd - Compelled Duel, Catapult
3rd - Kinetic Jaunt, Spiritual Weapon
5th - Motivational Speech, Haste
7th - Freedom of Movement, Staggering Smite
9th - Conjure Volley, Greater Restoration
Sports Form
At 2nd level, you gain the ability to harness the power of sports to alter your form. As a bonus action, you can expend a use of your Wild Shape feature to take on a sports form, rather than transforming into a beast. Changing into a sports form ends any other active Wild Shapes.
While in your sports form, your clothes take on the appearance of appropriate sports attire, and appropriate sports-themed music plays. The form lasts for 10 minutes. It ends early if you dismiss it (no action required), are incapacitated, die, or use this feature again.
Whenever you assume your sports form, choose which of the following styles you embody; your choice gives you certain benefits while in the form:
Fastball. A series of sports-themed balls and projectiles appear in orbit around you. When you activate this style, and as a bonus action on your subsequent turns while it lasts, you can make a ranged spell attack, hurling a ball or other projectile that targets one creature within 60 feet of you. On a hit, the attack deals bludgeoning damage equal to 1d8 + your Wisdom modifier.
Nike. An incredible set of appropriate sports footwear appears on your feet. While in this style your walking speed increases by 15 feet. You gain a swimming and climbing speed of 30 feet. If you already have a swim and climb speed, you can instead increase that speed by 15 feet. When you jump, you may add twice your proficiency bonus in feet to the distance in any direction.
Roughhouse. Your muscles bulge and glisten as if oiled. In this style you can add your Wisdom bonus to Strength checks, Strength saving throws, and Constitution saving throws to maintain concentration. In this form you can make a grapple or shove attack as a bonus action.
Rally the Team
When you reach 6th level, you learn to channel the power of sports to your allies. As a bonus action, all creatures you choose within 30 feet may either gain 1d8 temporary hit points or immediately roll a save to end any continuous negative effect that could normally be negated with a successful saving throw. They must be able to hear or see you to gain this benefit.
You cannot use this ability again until you finish a short rest.
Welcome to the Jam
At 10th level, the styles of your Sports Form improve. The 1d8 of Fastball becomes 2d8. While Nike is active all opportunity attacks have disadvantage against you. While Roughhouse is active you can grapple or push creatures of any size without penalty.
Moreover, at the start of each of your turns while in your Sports Form, you can change which style you embody.
Hall of Fame
At 14th level, your connection to the plane of sports has become something of legend. While in your Sports Form, this legacy grants you a kind of immortality, giving you resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.

Ditto V (Shiny Star V 323) (Japanese) (2020)
Part of the Shiny Star V expansion set (released in English as the Shining Fates set). The first of two secret Ditto card of the set, and the second of four Ditto cards Speaking of firsts, look! It's the first time a shiny Ditto has been put on a card (to my awareness)! It's not really the nicest card, mostly buoyed by its shiny nature, but I can very much appreciate the gesture.

Rambling About Magic the Gathering X Final Fantasy - Final Fantasy II
Next up, we got the black sheep of the FF series that yeah sure it isn't perfect but it's still worth playing cause it does some cool stuff for its time so stop dunking on it!
Minwu, White Mage

The big guy from II that everyone knows and loves; Minwu deserves to be here. I don't know if this is intentional, but his attacking meaning you gain life meaning he gets counters and gets stronger feels like FFII's leveling system where your stats get better the more they're used?
Swallowed by Leviathan

This is a crazy moment I did not expect to be represented in the slightest. I BELIEVE the intention is to "eat" the target spell, and your graveyard is the people inside Leviathan's belly? I'm not super sure, or super smart. Regardless, the art is very cool, and it's awesome that this got in.
Hecteyes

What I love about this card is I feel like it represents the FFII encounter of "rocks fall you die" where sometimes you just get ambushed by 5 guys that kill you on touch and you die and there's nothing you can do about it. It's awesome. I also like how they used the original appearance of the Hecteyes, but mostly cause I like the blue.
Firion, Wild Rose Warrior

The main character himself appears. One, I love the art being in Pandaemonium, cause that's the best part of the whole game. I think their intention with Firion here is to be like his Dissidia incarnation, where he's a sort of jack of all trades weaponmaster. You cycle through a bunch of different weapons quickly.
Random Encounter

When I saw this card revealed, I died laughing. With the generic JRPG cards being made, of course there was gonna be a random encounter. But for it to be FFII? Amazing. The game with trap rooms with heightened encounters cause fuck you. But the art is really what does it here for me. Remember the rocks fall you die I mentioned before? Coeurls were the biggest thing that did this to me; Malboros are also a top contender, but they go for a slow death by status encounters. Then finally we got the Iron Giant, the secret Warmech-like superboss. They picked the perfect enemies.
Coliseum Behemoth

The Behemoth could have been represented anywhere, but I'm glad they picked the first incarnation. I would have taken XV as well. Of course it's a creature of brute force, but the one part I don't quite get is the draw effect? The original guy doesn't do any kind of meteor fun that later incarnations do, so I can forgive that not really fitting in, though I suppose the destroy effect could be thought of as that.
Commune with Beavers

This is a very funny card. One that I'm not surprised got in, but I'm happy about it. Look how fat and squishy they are in the art. I love how Guy speak to the beavers to get items. Also, I'm glad Guy got to show up at all in the set. Wish the other party members could have been as lucky.
The Emperor of Palamecia/The Lord Master of Hell

The art for The Emperor here is incredible; the lighting and the from below perspective really gives him this vibe of above you, as he would want you to feel. I'm glad Starfall is his ability too, that's just too iconic; plus the fact that he gains power from the graveyard, feels like he's getting power from Hell. I like how he's fueled by strong spells, but I would have also liked for him to die and transform, though I suppose that's too close to Garland/Chaos.
Crossroads Village

Not much to say here, but I am glad an FFII town got mentioned. Bafsk is probably up there in importance with the Dreadnought mentioned. The fact that it enters tapped, while probably not intentional, echoes all the towns in that game getting destroyed in my brain.
Swamp

It took me a second to recognize this, but it's clearly the Jade Passage, right from the end of the game before Pandaemonium. Beautiful art, and I'm glad they picked the bit with the waterfalls; look for the secret merchant.
Cid, Timeless Artificer

Our first of many Cids. I did post about this separately but I love that he's next to that table he is literally always at, even with the guy that operates the airship; which even gets to appear in the back. The fact that Cid's effect gets better the more Cids you have cracks me up. The word "timeless" in his title really gets across the bit here.
FFII has 10/309 cards, representing 3.2% of the set (Cid is not counted until later). I know II isn't that beloved, so really I didn't expect it to get much at all. I'm pleasantly surprised with some of the bits it got, it almost feels like the Magic devs ACTUALLY played the game. It still sucks that there's so little, but at least it got a special numbered art card; more than some games.
Things that I would add; more mentions of the other party members. Maria and Leon didn't get to appear, but there's also the leagues of temp characters (other than Minwu); Josef, Gordon, Leila, Ricard, and Scott. I'm not saying they all needed to show up, but at minimum Maria deserved better. I'm choosing to believe Leila is in the Leviathan art somewhere

A new chapter of Pages About You, Pages About Me is up!
Here, we see Aziraphale and Crowley agree on the Arrangement which will set up the whole gimmick of the fic! Hope you’ll enjoy my interpretation of the ordeal.
Thanks to all the people who left kudos, bookmarked and commented so far!
Here’s an excerpt from the chapter:
Crowley pointed at him. “I came here to steal yer trade secrets, and I’ve got absolutely nothin’. Ye’re very good at keepin’ yer cards close to yer chest, I see.”
“I told you I can hold my drink,” the bookseller replied mockingly.
“Right. But I want to propose an arrangement.”
“An arrangement?” Aziraphale asked. “I’m listening.”
Crowley stepped closer, still pointing a finger at Aziraphale until it was almost touching his chest. “Okay. So. I want to see ye in action. Pretend I’m one of yer customers. Never read anythin’, had bad experiences—true story. Ye recommend a book ye think might win me over.”
Aziraphale thought for a moment, then nodded. “I like this game.”
“Not a game!” Crowley replied. “A very serious strategy for spyin’ on the competition’s marketin’ techniques, remember?”
“Oh, right. Sure.”
“And! In return, I’ll recommend a comic for ye to read. Let’s see if we can win each other over. See if we’re as good at our jobs as we think. Sounds good?”
