Itachi Uchiha personality - a short analysis

Hey everyone! This is my first post here. I’ve just started watching Naruto in order, and of course, I couldn’t help but dig into the backstories and personalities of the characters—especially Itachi (lol).

I wanted to share my thoughts on what might be going on with his mental health, how I interpret his character, and, most importantly, hear what you think about this incredibly complicated guy. Let’s chat!

“As the one who holds the tangled strings of relationships that connect the past and future, when he moves, the wheels of destiny turn.” — Uchiha Itachi, Databook Introduction

Clinical Depression

From the very beginning, Itachi’s PTSD felt evident to me. The more I read about his personality and way of thinking, the more it seemed like a storm that was bound to break, independent of the Uchiha massacre incident

Key Signs:

Grew up facing conflicting situations from a young age

Experienced trauma related to war

Dealt with oppressive family dynamics and societal expectations

Witnessed suicide firsthand

Naturally philosophical, sensitive, and introverted personality

Tendency toward nihilism and existentialism

Suppressed emotions and avoided expressing feelings openly

Psychotic Depression

"Psychotic depression is characterized by mood disturbances accompanied by delusions, hallucinations, or both. Symptoms include sadness, hopelessness, guilt, and irritability."

"Patients may experience delusions (e.g., beliefs about having committed unpardonable sins, being persecuted, or harboring incurable disorders) and/or hallucinations, often auditory (e.g., hearing accusatory or condemning voices)."

It seems possible that Itachi’s genjutsu ability could be tied to this—perhaps as a coping mechanism to deal with the harshness of reality. While it is an invaluable tool in battle, his genjutsu also reflects his deeper philosophy. I have little doubt that this skill not only served him strategically but also symbolized his struggles with the elusive nature of truth and reality.

"Itachi is an illusionist. As a genjutsu specialist, his work involves changing the perception of others. A simple genjutsu causes people to see a mirage, which renders their actions ineffective because they are “trapped” in their own minds and doing nothing in reality. However, as his skills improved, Itachi probably began to realize that genjutsu has depths much greater than the tactic to confuse an opponent. By chance he may have discovered that illusions can be more powerful than reality, and that by altering someone’s perception, he could control their actual world, and through that even change their beliefs. Ultimately, especially using the Mangekyou, he could compel others to reckon with a world of his own making.)* A revelation such as this would eventually cause a "existential" feeling of deep anxiety or dread. If Itachi can control others, then it must also be possible for others to control him. Genjutsu may be a force to reckon with in a fight, but it is magnanimously dangerous on a metaphysical level. As the student of another Sharingan user (Madara)**\*\*\*\*\*\*, Itachi would begin to question everything he knows or he thinks he knows about reality. “What is real?” How can he know that HE is not also being controlled or manipulated by a greater force?"

Itachi’s constant interplay with illusion and reality, combined with his already contemplative and burdened nature, could have exacerbated feelings of isolation, guilt, and dread, forming a cycle that defined his internal struggles.

Itachi’s existence unfolds in a perpetual dance between illusion and reality, a delicate interplay that not only reflects his contemplative and burdened nature but also amplifies his isolation, guilt, and existential dread. This endless cycle becomes the stage upon which his internal struggles are both enacted and perpetuated, shaping a uniquely harrowing relationship with himself.

His philosophy intertwines with his torment, creating a sadistic yet psychosomatic self-awareness.

Sadistic, in the sense that his acute understanding of the ninja system's inherent flaws—along with his role in perpetuating them—renders him painfully cognizant of his limitations. Despite possessing the extraordinary power to control and manipulate worlds—whether real or illusory—he remains powerless to alter the harsh truths of the actual world. It is a torment born from enlightenment, an existential irony that deepens his internal fracture.

Psychosomatic, because his inherently compassionate nature, though fractured and hardened over time, finds no refuge for the emotional storms within. The unexpressed weight of his anguish manifests physically, as if his body becomes the final repository of a soul too shattered to bear its own suffering.

Ultimately, Itachi inhabits a liminal state, teetering on the border of collapse—an emotional and physical threshold. His psyche, already fractured by the choices he was forced to make, battles against a body that can no longer endure the strain of suppressing his inner turmoil. In this fragile equilibrium, he becomes a poignant reflection of a man at war with himself, both within and without.

This film is a mirror to humanity, a call for spiritual awakening and the release of our invisible chains,

It is based on ancient metaphysical concepts, from Plato ( cave myth), to Hindu Sanskrit texts ( bhagavad gita.. isopanishads ... ) on illusion (Māyā), to dive into an adventure that goes beyond mere fiction.

The matrix is full of esoteric symbols and subliminal messages. From the start, the choice between the red pill and the blue pill is an initial test. This choice symbolizes free will in the face of willful ignorance (the blue pill) or painful acceptance of the truth (the red pill). It is an initiation to higher knowledge, where the individual renounces his certainties to embrace a broader reality.

THIS INITIATION TAKES PLACE IN MANY STAGES:

1. The initial doubt: Like Neo, the insider begins to feel that something is wrong. Doubt is the beginning of spiritual awakening. Carl Jung said, "Man does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the shadow conscious." "This doubt is a call to explore your shadow and confront your limiting beliefs.

2. Confronting the truth: The insider discovers that the material world is just a facade. In the Matrix, this illusion is materialized by the matrix itself, a program designed to keep humanity in check.

3. Symbolic death: When Neo is "unplugged" from the matrix, he suffers a symbolic death. This is an essential step of any initiation: dying to the old self in order to be reborn to a higher state of consciousness. Joseph Campbell, in The Hero with a Thousand and One Faces, explains: "Initiation is a descent into the unknown, where the old world is destroyed so that the new can emerge."

4. Mastering the real: Neo learns to manipulate the rules of the matrix. This is the ultimate stage of initiation, where the individual realizes that his conscience creates his reality.

THE MATRIX IS A SPIRITUAL ILLUSION IN WHICH WE ALL LIVE...

The matrix represents a collective illusion that imprisons us She is the projection that technology and others' ideas create around us. She is the world that others create to enslave us. It symbolizes beliefs, fears, and social conditioning that prevent us from reaching our full potential. Gnostic philosophers were already describing this concept when talking about the Demiurge, a being that holds souls captive in the material world.

Look around you. Everything is MATRIX. This is a reality created by someone or a group of people to keep you a slave.

Stepping out of the matrix means breaking these illusions. Here's how the initiation process helps us get there:

# Knowledge of self: As Socrates affirms: "Know yourself and you will know the universe and the gods. "Understanding that we are creators of reality is the first step towards liberation.

# The transcendence of fear: Morpheus explains that the matrix works by exploiting fear. Transcending this emotion, the inner becomes free.

# The awakening of consciousness: Stepping out of the matrix means realizing that we are not our thoughts, bodies or beliefs. We are infinite consciences As Eckhart Tolle explains in The Power of the Present Moment: "True freedom lies in the realization that you are not your mental body."

In a cult scene, Morpheus says to Neo (I paraphrase): "The matrix is everywhere." She is all around us. Even now in this room You see it when you look out the window or turn on the TV. You can smell it when you go to work, when you go to church, when you pay taxes. This is the world that has been put in front of your eyes to prevent you from seeing the truth."

The truth is that we also live in a matrix. Not a computer simulation, but a mental and spiritual matrix shaped by people who master our fears, beliefs, and conditioning.

The choice of the red or blue pill is the choice we face every day: to fall asleep in the comfort of illusion or to face the truth.

A Typology of Spirits

So I desperately needed a distraction today, and recently remembered what WorldAnvil is, so ended up doing my favorite kind of worldbuilding - drawing important metaphysical distinctions between folkloric terms that are all basically synonyms.

An Angel is a pure and uncorrupted Divine Soul, an incarnation of the Celestial Will, descending from the Heavens as a result of a sufficiently grand Sacred Petition or to carry out the Ineffable Will of the Heavens. Sadly, those which has deigned to answer the questions of supplicants have replied that they have no memory of the Heavens, save the burning Purpose for which they descend unto the Earth. Pure Soul, they are driven and purposeful, with little interest in anything else.

While separate from the Profane World, Angels are physically impotent, but all but the most minor are spiritually mighty, with a Celestial remit to Discipline and Extirpate Demons, the Dead, and any others whose Souls are not in alignment with their bodies. As Celestial Beings, they can also Bless and Sanctify they souls and tools of mortals, Empowering them to carry out a Purpose.

Angels do not tarry long in the World – and those who do, do not remain Angels. It is often the case that they are petitioned to take up stewardship or a land whose Gods were killed or corrupted, and in so doing they becomes Gods themselves. Else, on completion of their Purpose, they universally return to the Heavens, and beyond the reach of Mortal senses. Finally, on rare occasions, when prevented from carrying out their Purpose, direly wounded, or corrupted by Profane Manipulations, Angels have on rare occasions been known to Fall, gathering up the raw material of the World into a Form and Aura for themselves. While every Fallen is unique, they each follow one of their Three Orders, depending on which part of the World they draw most deeply on.

The most storied of the Fallen are the Fae. Their forms and auras are predominantly spun of Thought or Dream. Their forms are transient and shifting, changing according to their every Whim, but are always Wondrous and Beautiful to Behold, though their guises are often quite Terrible as well. Repulsed by stagnation and boredom, Fae forever seek to entrap others in the fantasies, dramas, deals and conspiracies they weave, often with no higher purpose than their own Amusement or satisfying their occult sense of Justice. Disdaining physicality, they prefer to entrap opponents in artificial dreams, or distract them with Illusions so vibrant they believe themselves to be Truth.

The most infamous of the Fallen are the Djinn and Ifrit. Their forms and auras are predominantly built from the Elements or Matter. Their forms are to a degree Protean, but the Elements which they have taken as their own are always clear. Passionate and Vainglorious, they Inevitably reshape the very landscapes around them into Monuments of their Hubris, and seek out Dangers and Impossible Trials they consider worthy of their Efforts. In these Civilized Times, many or most have been Damned, or Bound by other hands, but in the vast expanses of sea, sky and trackless steppe, many still hold their courts, and woe betide the travel whose ship is caught in their path.

The rarest of the Fallen are named Titans. Their forms and auras are predominantly sculpted of Flesh, and so they appear similar to Mortal Life created on the Divine Plan, but far more Awesome, and on a far Grander scale. Towering far above any Mortal, they work their own Flesh and that of others like clay, often moulding wild beasts into servitors and extensions of their Soul. Most Famously, the Hundred-Handed Titans of the Outer World ruled a Grand Empire for Centuries, moulding servitor races to wait on them and heighten their glory, decaying into Decadence as they Lessened themselves to Ensoul their servitors and creating self-perpetuating slave races to Conquer and Build across the Land.

The Terrestrial Gods or Sacred Spirits are the Divine Souls charged and entrusted with the stewardship of span of Nature or population of Beasts. Like a Human Soul on a Broader and Grander Scale, they act as Soul and Spirit for all the Lesser forms of life, plant, beast and vermin alike. Their might varies widely, of a kind with the prominence of their Domain, of which they are inevitably fiercely protective. As long as their charges are protected, most are entirely content with the Divine Order, but the mightiest often grow Proud, creating whole courts and kingdoms of lesser divinities and mortal worshippers. Still others are corrupted by their worshippers, perverted into one form of abomination or another. In any event, to slay a God is a Crime against the Heavens, as they are vital to the proper functioning of the World, and without a governing Soul their domain will quickly grow wild and dark.

A Devil could be any number of things, as any being, Mortal or Spirit alike, may be Damned by their Crimes and the Judgment of Heaven and the Throne. Spiritually branded and crippled, they are imprisoned in the Hell most appropriate for their crimes, enduring their Just punishment for all eternity, or until recalled by the Throne or one of its agents. The process of being Damned leaves every Devil subject to the commands of any correctly executed Conjuring, lending ever Imperial Binder access to servants far beyond what the petty Sorcerers of other lands can hope to dominate. Care must be taken, however, as Devils forever seek to escape their punishments, and will seek any weakness in their bindings or vagueness in their commands to draw out their time in the World, or escape their summoners control entirely.

The Soulless or Demons are not spirits at all, but the terrible result of their lack. For years, the Bhagavad Gita has distinguished itself as a masterpiece of spiritual and philosophical scripture. Beautifully condensing Upanishadic knowledge, the Gita traverses a number of subjects – from duty as a means toward liberation (moksha), to the risks of losing oneself to worldly temptations, to the dichotomy between the lower self (jiva) and the ultimate, eternal Self (atman) – as well as detailing a vast spectrum of human desires, treating them not as one-dimensional abstractions, but as the complex combinatorial dilemmas they are in real life. Written in the style of bardic poems, the Gita bears a concrete timelessness, with its magnetism lying in the fact that it is a work not of religious dogma, but of personal choice. 

Recounting the dialogue between Arjuna, the Pandava warrior-prince, and Lord Krishna, his godling charioteer, the text covers a wide swath of Vedantic concepts which are then left for Arjuna to either follow or reject. This element of personal autonomy, and how it can lead to self-acceptance, environmental mastery and finally the spiritual path to one's true destiny, is an immensely alluring concept for readers today. But Arjuna's positioning is the real crux of the Gita: his conflicts between personal desire and sacred duty are the undercurrent of the tale, and the text offers equally spiritual and practical insights in every nuance.

The Gita begins with two families torn into different factions and preparing for battle. The sage Vyasa, who possesses the gift of divine vision, offers to loan the blind King, Dhritarashtra, his ability so the King may watch the battle. However, Dhritarashtra declines, having no wish to witness the carnage – particularly since his sons, the Kauravas, are arrayed on the battlefield. Instead, the sage confers his powers to Sanjaya, one of Dhritarashtra's counselors, who faithfully recounts the sequence of events as they unfold. From the start, readers' introduction to the Gita is almost sensory, with the battlefield stirred into action by Bhishma, who blows his conch horn and unleashes an uproarious war-frenzy, "conches and kettledrums, cymbals, tabors and trumpets ... the tumult echoed through heaven and earth... weapons were ready to clash." These descriptions serve as marked contrasts to the dialogic exchange that follows between Arjuna and Krishna, which is serene and private in tone, the two characters wearing the fabric of intimate friendship effortlessly as they are lifted out of the narrative, suspended as if in an aether where the concept of time becomes meaningless. 

Arjuna – whose questions carry readers through the text – stands with Krishna in the heart of the battlefield, between the two armies. However, when he sees the enemy arrayed before him, "fathers, grandfathers, teachers, uncles, brothers, sons, grandsons and friends," he falls into the grip of a moral paralysis. His whole body trembles and his sacred bow, Gandiva, slips from his hands. He tells Krishna, "I see omens of chaos ... I see no good in killing my kinsmen in battle... we have heard that a place in hell is reserved for men who undermine family duties." As Jacob Neusner and Bruce Chilton remark in the book, Altruism in World Religions, "To fight his own family, Arjuna realizes, will violate a central tenet of his code of conduct: family loyalty, a principle of dharma." The concept of dharma holds an integral place in Hindu-Vedantic ethos, with Sanatana Dharma (eternal and universal dharma) regarded as a sacred duty applicable to all, and Swadharma (personal and particular dharma) sometimes coming into conflict with the former. It is this inherent contradiction that catalyzes Arjuna's self-doubt. "The flaw of pity blights my very being; conflicting sacred duties confound my reason." 

It is Krishna who must inspire him to fight, through comprehensive teachings in the essentials of birth and rebirth, duty and destiny, action and inertia. There is an allegorical genius here that will appeal tremendously to readers. The military aspects of the Gita can easily serve as metaphors for not just external real-life battles, but internal battles of the self, with the two armies representing the conflict between the good and evil forces within each of us. In that sense, Krishna's advice to Arjuna – the seven-hundred slokas – becomes a pertinent, pragmatic guide to human affairs. With each verse, both Arjuna and the readers are offered perspectives and practices which, if followed, can allow them to achieve a robust understanding of reality. 

With the spiritual underpinnings of the wisdom known as Sankhya, Krishna explains different yogas, or disciplines. Readers slowly begin to encounter all the components of humanity and the universe, through the lens of Arjuna, whose moral and spiritual weltanschauung undergoes a gradual metamorphosis – from, "If you think understanding is more powerful than action, why, Krishna, do you urge me to this horrific act? You confuse my understanding with a maze of words..." to "Krishna, my delusion is destroyed... I stand here, my doubt dispelled, ready to act on your words." 

We are introduced in slow but mesmerizing detail to the wisdom within Arjuna himself; an omniscience that eluded him because it was hidden beneath illusion, or maya. Indeed, Krishna makes it clear that the very essence of maya is to conceal the Self – the atman – from human understanding by introducing the fallacy of separation, luring individuals with the promise that enlightenment springs not from within but from worldly accouterments: in sensual attraction, in the enticements of wealth and power. However, Krishna makes it clear that the realm of the senses, the physical world, is impermanent, and always in flux. Whereas he, the supreme manifestation of the divine and the earthly, the past, present and future, is there in all things, unchanging. "All creatures are bewildered at birth by the delusion of opposing dualities that arise from desire and hatred." 

Although these themes are repeated often throughout the Gita, in myriad ways, not once do they become tiresome. Although Krishna's role in much of the Mahabharata is that of a Machiavellian trickster, invested in his own mysterious agenda, he does eventually reveal himself to Arjuna as the omniscient deity. Yet never once does he coerce Arjuna into accepting his teachings, though they are woven inextricably and dazzlingly through the entirety of the Gita. Rather, he gives Arjuna the choice to sift through layers of self-delusion and find his true Self. This can be achieved neither through passive inertia, nor through power-hungry action, but through the resolute fulfillment of duty that is its own reward. In order to dissolve the Self, the atman, into Brahman and achieve moksha, it is necessary to fight all that is mere illusory temptation. Just as Krishna promises Arjuna, victory is within reach, precisely because as a Kshatriya-warrior, it is his sacred duty – his destiny – to fight the battle. More than that, the desire to act righteously is his fundamental nature; the rest is pretense and self-delusion. "You are bound by your own action, intrinsic to your being ... the lord resides in the heart of all creatures, making them reel magically, as if a machine moved them." 

Although the issues that Arjuna grapples with often become metaphysical speculations, never once does it dehumanize his character. His very conflict between the vacillations of the self and sacred duty assure his position as something greater and more complex than a mere widget fulfilling Krishna's agenda. It is through the essence of Arjuna's conflict that he grows on a personal and spiritual level. Conflict so personal and timeless is inextricably tied to choice. In Arjuna's case, the decision to shed the constraints of temporal insecurities and ascend toward his higher Self – freed from the weight of futile self-doubt and petty distractions – rests entirely in his hands. Krishna aids him through his psychospiritual journey not with a lightning-bolt of instantaneous comprehension, but through a slow unraveling of illusions so that Arjuna will arrive at a loftier vantage, able to reconnect with his true Self, and to remember his sacred duty. The answers are already within him; the very purpose of Krishna's counsel is merely to draw it out. "Armed with his purified knowledge, subduing the self with resolve, relinquishing sensuous objects, avoiding attraction and hatred... unposessive, tranquil, he is at one with the infinite spirit."

At its core, the Bhagavad Gita is timelessly insightful and life-affirmingly human, an epic that illustrates the discomfiting truths and moral dilemmas that continue to haunt modern-day readers. Despite its martial setting, it is fueled not by the atrocities of battle, but overflowing with the wisdoms of devotion, duty and love. Its protagonist is inclined by lingering personal attachments, but compelled by godly counsel, to surpass both the narrow private restrictions of self-doubt and the broad social framework of family, in order to reconnect with his pure, transcendental Self. However the Gita does not offer its teachings as rigid doctrine, but as a gentle framework through which readers can achieve a fresh perspective on the essential struggles of humankind. Viadescioism is my personal school of thought. It is a philosophy that is an amalgam of different understandings, and beliefs, and is the primary way in which I go about understanding the world. In this post I will explain what viadescioism is, so that the philosophy can be known, and worked upon. Viadescioism is very personal to me (the Wolf Of Antimony), and is full of the understandings that I've come to know as reliable, and true. Hopefully you will find this philosophy interesting, if nothing else.

Etymology Of Viadescioism:

The word viadescioism comes from the latin word "via" meaning road, way, highway, or path, the Latin word "de" meaning "of" , and the Latin word "scio" meaning knowledge, while being combined with the suffix of -ism implying a practice, system, or doctrine. This makes the word viadescioism literally come out to the path of knowledge. The word viadescioism is pronounced vī-ah-de-shi-oh-ism. The individual who practices viadescioism would be known as a viadescioist.

Basics Of Viadescioism:

Viadescioism is a new age, spiritualist, philosophy of balance, understanding, and knowledge. It is a philosophy that is open minded, and is able to be individualize by its practitioners. This philosophes main goal is bettering the individuals knowledge, and ethical values through balance, and understanding, while also allowing them to better understand the world around them, and to come in contact with truths, while inciting growth, and fulfillment. Viadescioism allows the individual to think in a certain way about the metaphysics of the universe, and about ethical quandaries to hopefully make their views more balanced, and knowledgeable overall. Viadescioism is a philosophy that encourages eclecticism, and syncreticism, so that a practitioner that practices it can gain knowledge from everywhere they need to, and can use that knowledge to better themselves, and maybe even the world around them. Viadescioism holds no form of exclusivism, and allows anyone to join, if they wish to take on the understandings of viadescioism for themselves. Viadescioism can also be connected to any other school of thought, beliefs system, or even religion. Viadescioism also focuses on helping the viadescioist achieve forms of self-realization, self-knowledge, and fulfillment.

Religious Side Of Viadescioism:

The viadescioist should also practice omnism, and should have a high respect for all religions, and practices, but can focus on one, non, or a multitude of any of them, if the viadescioist are so inclined to move their focus. Omnism allows the practitioner to gain understanding of other belief systems, and the knowledge, and understandings that they may hold allowing them to transcend certain paradigms. Viadescioism understands that there are many different paths to the divine, and all pass will eventually come to the same conclusion. The viadescioist can choose if they are a theist, or not, and can interact with deity in their own way, but the individual should keep their focus on knowledge, eudaimonia, enlightenment, and meaning rather than focusing on carrying out dogma.

Metaphysics Of Viadescioism:

Substance In Viadescioism:

Viadescioism understands the whole of existence from a monism perspective. This means that everything can be broken down into one ultimate unit, or construct. This being the all, existence, the mind, the universe, god, source, energy, or anything else that could be used as a name for the whole. This makes up everything, is everything, and is present in everything. This does not fight against the dualism of viadescioism, but it is simply a different perspective on the same thing.

The dualism of viadescioism means that the universe is split up in to two forces, and energies usually referred to as yin, and yang, or masculine, and feminine energies. These energies work with each other in order to facilitate a dynamic balance in the universe. They do not oppose each other, or fight against each other, but much rather work with each other. This Dualism does not represent "good" and "evil", or the social understandings of gender. Viadescioism does not subscribe to the concepts of "Good", and "Evil", because of the subjectivity of both of these concepts.

In viadescioism existence can also be understood through pluralism, allowing multiple things to make up, and to work together in order to form the whole of existence. There are as many pluralistic systems as there are ways to separate, or categorize the world, and all the systems can be used to understand how everything works from their unique perspectives, and are important to understand, and to keep in mind. None of these pluralistic systems will fight against the understandings of Viadescioism, as long as they are not subjective in nature.

In viadescioism monism, dualism, and pluralism all coexist at the same time, and from different perspectives. They do not fight against each other but work intangent to facilitate existence, and understanding.

Viadescioism has the understanding of transcendental idealism which states that the individual's experience, and perception of things are mere representations of the mind. Anything that is known is only known through the understanding of the mind, and the mind's laws, and that nothing has an independent existence apart from our thoughts. Though outer things in space, and time are also thought to exist, they are shadows of the mind perceiving them, and can never truly be known, and are only manifestations of our sense perception, and mental capability.

Viadescioism has the understanding of conceptualism, or nominalism which states that universals are not real mind-independent entities.

Viadescioism has the understanding of philosophical spiritualism which understands there is some inmaterial and/or a transcendental reality that is beyond the materialistic interpretations of reality whether this be representative of  a universal mind, or spiritual energetic force.

Viadescioism has the understanding of pantheism. Pantheism in viadescioism is based around the understanding of divinity being everything, and everything being divinity, and that source is all-encompassing, and ever present. Also because of this viadescioism has the understanding of autotheism meaning that everyone is source, and in some way divine.

Free Will In Viadescioism:

Viadescioism understands the concept of incompatibilism which states that a deterministic universe and a free will universe are not compatible with each other, and that only one of these understandings can be held by an individual.

Viadescioism follows the understanding of hard determinism especially emergentism (or generativism) which does state that free will does not exist, and that everything is determined upon other cause, and effect events that have been in motion since the beginning, or since forever. This means that every event is deterministic though it may be incredibly complex. One event will bring on factors that will then go on to trigger another event, and it will continue on like this forever allowing everything to be predetermined upon the events before it. An event will be determined by multiple factors that will most likely be very complicated, and will extend on seemingly forever. The illusion of free will may be embraced in moral situations in order to determine responsibility, so that the subjectivity of one's morals can be based on a more direct constant.

Viadescioism has the understanding of metaphysical objectivism which tells that objects will have certain qualities that will always be able to be known regardless of subjective interaction. Objective objects will also always exists even outside the perception of an entity.

Viadescioism has the understanding of spiritual naturalism which is a combination of understanding the world from a spiritual, and scientific means. This understanding has the idea that everything is natural and can be studied using natural methods allowing us to be scientifically, and spiritually minded without throwing out one or the other, so that we can learn more from different places, and gain new understandings, while keeping both ways of how to look at the world. this will allow the world's of matter, and energy to come together to find new understandings without belittling without belittling each other.

Modality in Viadescioism:

Viadescioism has the understanding of possibilism which states the understanding that there are constructs that do not, in fact, exist but which could have existed. This understanding is in direct opposition to actualism.

Viadescioism has the understanding of  modal realism which has the understanding that possible worlds do exist, and are as real as our world. The words "real world" will always be in reference to the present, or the most denoted world, and will be based on the context in which it is said.

Cosmology In Viadescioism:

Viadescioism has the understanding of emanationism which tells that all constructs come from a higher vibration of source, fall in vibration, and will eventually return to that source.

Time In Viadescioism:

Viadescioism has the understanding of eternalism which understands that past, present, and future are all equally real, and exist. This allows the universe to have a different set of events that are in different present moments.

Viadescioism has the understanding of four-dimensionalism which states that an object's persistence through time can be likened to its extension through space. This means that all objects have temporal parts that are present at different points throughout time that it occupies, and that time is another dimension in space-time in which can be traveled.

Identity In Viadescioism:

Viadescioism holds the understanding of perdurantism which teaches that individuals have distinct temporal parts throughout the whole of their existence, and that the whole of them does not endure throughout time, but will much rather change, and persist with different temporal parts. This means that you are not passed you, and you are not future you though all of these are you persisting through time in the region in which you exist. This understanding makes all objects four dimensional, and will allow them to persist through time with the temporal parts that are relating two other temporal parts of themselves.

Meaning In Viadescioism:

Viadescioism also practice is existentialism which allows the individual to go searching for their own subjective meaning, so that the viadescioist does not succum to nihilism, and will give there  subjective meaning to their experience, and the world around them. The meaninglessness of the universe should be accepted, and understood, so that an individual can work with it, and move past it to create their own subjective meaning. Subjective meaning is an important part of existence, but the only thing that will assign that subjective meaning, is the individual. Viadescioism does not subscribe to in inherent meaning, and because of this Viadescioism does not work with essentialism.

Epistemology In Viadescioism:

Viadescioism has the understanding of solipsism which tells that the only thing that is a hundred percent knowable is that you exist, and that everything else could be technically put under scrutiny, but that should not stop us from going out in learning more, and from understanding certain paradigms. Especially because viadescioism also has the understanding of contextualism.

Viadescioism has the understanding of contextualism which breaks down the understanding of knowledge into two categories everyday knowledge, and philosophical knowledge that both rely heavily upon the context in which they are used. The truth value of a statement will change based on the context in which it is used. This allows there to be knowledge based on certain situations, so that the viadescioist does not fall into absolute skepticism in an ordinary context based on higher philosophical knowledge such as the viadescioic understanding of solipsism, and will allow them to deny certain things in certain situations, so that they can understand all forms of truth, and knowledge through everyday, and philosophical means. This allows the aspect of knowing something to depend on the context in which it is used.

The philosophy of viadescioism prefers critical thinking, reason, and evidence brought through rationalism, or empiricism without falling into scientism, and/or positivism, and while relying on other systems of understanding. Viadescioism does practice evidentialism, the notion that no belief should be held unless it is supported by evidence, but this evidence does not have to be proposed only scientifically, and can be from other systems of understanding, but must be reasonable, and logical in nature. Belief, and faith can be held, but never blind faith. Belief, and faith should both be reasonable, and should never be placed in situations where they do not make sense, and should still be based in a form of reason.

Ethics In Viadescioism:

Viadescioism practices cognitivism which states that meta-ethical views do have truth values though this truth value will be subjective in nature. This also makes the use of "good", and "bad" statements as a more form of opinion rather than objective fact. Statements that express moral, and ethical value will be true for the subject, but not the objective reality.

Viadescioism practices the understanding of ethical subjectivism which holds the understanding that there are no objective moral properties, and that ethics are primarily based on attitudes, opinions, and personal preferences by the person who is perceiving them. Not allowing anything to be objectively "good" or objectively "evil", but still able to hold a truth value though it will be a subjective one.

Viadescioism also will practice a form of ethical individualism which states only the individual can decide what is right in their eyes, and that there is no external force that can truly decide if it is right, or not. This does not mean to fall into a state of egoism, or altruism, but to rather balance both of them at your leisure when the situation calls for it.

Viadescioism understands right, and wrong from a moral relativism, or ethical relativism standpoint which states the understanding that moral, and ethical correctness come from a social, cultural, historical, or a form of personal circumstances. This is also a form of moral anti-realism. This is also connected to the understanding of cultural relativism which states that certain things will be "right", or "wrong" based on the culture in which they appear. An individual can only do what is morally right to their own subjective being, though an individual that is part of a group may have a code of ethics, laws, or rules that will be seen as morally right to the fundamental nature of the group, and will usually be abided by in order to keep clear of consequences that they might provoke. These ethical codes, laws, and rules are still subjective in their own being, but will play an important part on the individual's morals, and anyone else who chooses to adopt their understandings. The understanding of moral relativism, and cultural relativism does not mean that you have to tolerate the behavior of another, but will allow you to gain understanding of them. Moral relativism, or ethical relativism also does not override ethical individualism, but will help to shape that individual based on relative factors of their environment much rather than being dictated by their environment.

Aesthetics In Viadescioism:

Everything is beautiful in its own special way, but this beauty is subjective, and is completely determined by the individual who is viewing, and interacting with that piece. Art will be anything that invoke some form of emotion, and something will be aesthetically pleasing when that art involves emotions that feel subjectively "good". What the artist gets from their art may be different from what the audience gets from their art. There is no purpose to art besides the purpose that the artist, and the audience give it.

Viadescioism has the understanding of non-formalism which holds the understanding that inherent things outside the artwork such as the reason for its creation, the historical background, and the life of the artist is just as important as what the art contains, adding inherent meaning, and understanding to the work.
