Selda - Türkülerimiz 2 The Middle East and Anatolia will always have a special place in my heart, and amongst all the special things and people from the region, the music, specifically, is always something special. And from all the music out of the regions that I love, Selda has to be one of my all time favorites. If you're not familiar with music from Turkey or the Middle East, then this is a wonderful place to start. Heartfelt and beautiful.

Lalalar – En KöTü Iyi Olur
James looks at En KöTü Iyi Olur, the captivating new album from Turkish genre defying psychedelic folk rock/funk band Lalalar, released September 8th on Les Disques Bongo Joe.
En Kötü Iyi Olur is more than just an album, it is a sonic experience that alters not only the listener's mind, but their concept of how varied and experimental an album can be. The album’s strong Middle Eastern influences shape its unique sound, energy and essence, further expanding upon its already unique charm. Joining these elements are folk, electronic, psychedelic rock, funk, hip hop and far more. Overall I can’t recommend this album strongly enough, it’s just so good that everyone should listen to it at least once. Regardless of what style of music you enjoy there should be a little something for everyone here.

Meet Yildiz, the celestial performer at Mount Rageous!
Known for her melodic voice and generous personality, this gal works really hard for her performances, unlike a certain duo....
However, she actually doesn't care about the wealth, as long as music makes her happy.
_____
As you can see, I made a Mount Rageous OC, based on Turkish Pop. As such, her color palette is mostly white and red, with some blues mixed in. Her eyes and eye makeup are based on a Nazar amulet.
_
Also this is her theme;
