Have you ever been to Israel ? Or are you planning to ever go to Israel? b'ezrat hashem that’s one of the first things I’m gonna do when I finish my conversion, is go to the holy land. So excited
I have not been outside my state in over three years, so I hope this answers your question 😭
My dad has mentioned wanting to go to Israel and honestly, I'd go with him if that were ever to happen. I have very mixed thoughts about what I want, but if I go to a different country, I'd probably only really want to go to Israel, especially because I'm using most of my language study time on Hebrew (though I'd also go to Germany with my dad because he really wants to go there again and... we're also German, so). There are a lot of things I'd want to collect from Israel, too... 🙏

Hi! I’ll try to keep this simple and add a likely awful translation. I’m a native English speaker who wants to learn German. I speak some German partially, but I’m not as good as I would like to be. I have a very good grasp on English grammar and structure, and I love to teach. If there is a German person out there who wants to speak English, I would love to exchange help to each other!
Hallo!
Google Translate scheitert.

pünktlich - on time
der Stiefvater - the stepdad

I've taught so many students who came to me thinking literary analysis was all about deciphering The Meaning wanted by the teacher because ???.
It's not.
Writing at its core is the manipulation of language and narrative towards a desired goal (this can be evoking an emotion, getting a message across, etc.). Literary analysis is the opposite side of the medallion:
It's spotting those manipulations, those techniques.
For example, if a speech has an aggressive tone (I usually ask my students if they're getting any specific vibes from a text), there is a reason why. So let's find out.
By learning how language and narrative are used in different mediums— which patterns can occur, which connotations and stylistic devices can create which effect, etc.—students will be able to spot those manipulations of language/narrative all around them. Including in contexts where it really matters, like the news.
However, at least in my experience, literary analysis is never taught that way and it leads to students randomly listing stylistic devices just so they get a few points on task two.
It’s sad how much of what is taught in school is useless to over 99% of the population.
There are literally math concepts taught in high school and middle school that are only used in extremely specialized fields or that are even so outdated they aren’t used anymore!

Mastering German Made Simple with Personalized German Language Tutoring by Vidya and Associates
In today’s increasingly globalized world, learning a second language is more than just a hobby—it’s a strategic asset. Among the many foreign languages in demand, German language tutoring has emerged as one of the most sought-after educational services for students, professionals, and language enthusiasts alike. Whether you're planning to study in Germany, aiming to expand your career in multinational firms, or simply exploring the beauty of the language and its culture, personalized guidance can make all the difference. That’s where Vidya and Associates steps in, providing expertly tailored German language tutoring programs that deliver results.
Why Choose German? The Global Advantage
The German language is not only the most widely spoken language in the European Union but also one of the most influential in the fields of engineering, medicine, philosophy, and business. Germany is home to world-class universities and global companies, making it a magnet for international students and professionals. Learning German opens doors to scholarships, higher education, job opportunities, and rich cultural experiences across Europe and beyond.
However, mastering German isn’t always easy, especially when relying on generic online platforms or mass-based classroom learning. To truly absorb the grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, and cultural nuances, personalized instruction is essential—and this is precisely what Vidya and Associates provides.
Personalized German Language Tutoring at Vidya and Associates
At Vidya and Associates, we understand that every learner’s journey is unique. Unlike traditional tutoring centers that offer rigid, one-size-fits-all classes, our focus is on customizing the learning path according to your goals, pace, and current proficiency level. Planning to study in Germany or apply for a DAAD scholarship? We provide guidance on university selection, statement of purpose (SOP) writing, interview preparation, and more. Need help with German proficiency exams? Our mentors specialize in targeted exam preparation with mock tests, grammar drills, and speaking practice—all aligned with the specific exam format.
This holistic approach is what makes Vidya and Associates a trusted educational partner for students, professionals, and even corporate clients looking to upskill their workforce in German.
