i am a little embarrassed to say i didn’t pay much attention to stage posse but still!!!!!:

stage ramuda is an entire menace lmao

like both the anime and stage’s takes on ramuda is a cutesy snarky young man who will tear everything and everyone down when provoked in a certain manner and it’s valid!!!!! doesn’t mean i particularly care for it tho lol

i love track 4 tho for showing off ramuda’s ability to manipulate and even tho he’s the antagonist of that play, he was provoked by jakurai so if you ask me, sensei was the true antagonist of that track and that’s the sort of writing that makes the stage so interesting lmao

there was a flavour of falseness sekoguchi-san’s ramuda had, like a deep seated mask over his emotions and interactions and it SLAPPED he played ramuda’s early self conflicts very well

i don’t listen to stage posse’s first songs at all anymore (i esp despise trap of fling gomen lol) but there was a time i’d listen to stage songs with yasui-san’s ramuda and get sad it didn’t hit the same as sekoguchi-san’s lol

now it’s not a problem lol yasui-san has a wonderful ramuda as well and it was an easy transition because i think sekoguchi-san and yasui-san have similar takes on ramuda

we don’t talk about stage gentaro’s first actor lol but he played a very fruity gencha and i always appreciate that lol

sakata-san’s gentaro i felt embraced more of gentaro’s weirdness which i like to see more of in my gentaro LOL

i think the stage play leaned into a young master kinda dice, to show what kind of upbringing dice came from in absence of the women’s presence in the plays. i think it’s a bit of a disservice to dice personally, but i wasn’t unwilling to see such a side of him explored lol

before fp vs mtc happened, he and byrnes-san tried to fit dice and rio’s relationship in wherever they happened to be together and i *clenches fist* thank them for that lmao

I started watching Moriarty The Patriot 3 days ago— I don’t know why I even kept it waiting since 2021. It has been just 3 days into this masterpiece and I have already bought the first volume of manga, styled a cosplay wig, drabbled fanfiction scripts, memorized DYING WISH (opening 1) and made stickers out of it. I don’t know why, but it hit me so hard. It is the first time in two years that something other than Hypnosis Mic excited me this much!

Though, Hypnosis Mic itself is the reason I started Moriarty in the first place— I went there only with the expectation of listening to the brilliant voice actor Saito Soma’s voice acting! He voices the lead role, Moriarty himself! AND moreover!? The plot reminds me a lot of Psycho Pass, especially season 1! Makishima Shogo is the favorite character of all times in my heart, and in this plot not only does Moriarty have a very similar role to Shogo, they have the same character designer with the person who illustrated part of Psycho Pass’ manga. The story is less gore and more light hearted compared to Psycho Pass, the art and music is wonderful and the characters are gorgeous.

I have never been someone specifically into crime and murder, I know Sherlock Holmes stories of course, from my childhood books, but I don’t go out of my way to seek detective stories. Again, I only seeked Moriarty The Patriot because I wanted to watch Soma Saito’s voice acting performance. BUT oh boy, not only Soma-san is AMAZING (though Moriarty The Partiot feels like it all is Gentaro’s tale he is telling to Dice in his smooth cute voice and he will finish with Uso desu yo), BUT THERE IS SO MUCH MORE! I am so so so happy and amazed of this work by all means!

Definitely recommended!

And if you are a Hypnosis Mic fan, just check it out for Soma Saito. Plot is different, but he is the same gorgeous actor. You can hear Gentaro amongst the lines and it just ADDS UP a lot to the fun! ❤️

Itou Sachio

Ochi Fukuichi: Itou highly respects and looks up to the commander of the hunting dogs, even if Fukuichi's constant drinking and boisterous attitude makes Itou a bit anxious. His only worry is for his commander's liver with all the sake he drinks.

Okura Teruko: For the most part, Itou is confused on how to handle the vice captain, but he does given into her commands for silly things. More so if the demand is for food. Like Fukuichi, he respects her greatly and is in awe in her prowess as a soldier.

Jono Saigiku: Jono comes off as someone that Itou can't approach, his sadistic nature tends to scare off the more gentle natured Itou.

Suehiro Tetcho: Tetcho scares him with the food- While he may not make comment like Jono would, it does displease him. That aside, they both have a strong sense of justice, and Itou almost idolizes his senior for his strength and how Tetcho doesn't resort to violence first.

Tachihara Michizo: Itou feels a bit of a bond with Tachihara on the sole basis they are both the newer members to the Hunting Dogs. He doesn't get to spend much time with Tachihara due to the younger's current mission.

Kitamura Tokoku

Ochi Fukuichi: He finds Fukuichi to be rather funny to watch, following orders without question so long as the criminal deserves justice.

Okura Teruko: Teruko is cute to him, happily going along with her shenanigans so long as it amuses him to some degree.

Jono Saigiku: He's a good person :) (uso desu yo)* Aka. Hates Jono's guts out and will never have a civil conversation with him

Suehiro Tetcho: Since Kitamura can be a bit sadistic himself, he tends to but heads with Tetcho. However he respects the man's unwavering sense in justice, for he is the same. Also! He enjoys giving Tetcho ingredients of the same color to further annoy Jono

Tachihara Michizo: He doesn't really care for the youngest member of the hunting dogs due to his dislike for criminals, more so considering the crimes that Tachihara has committed under the Mafia. And while he isn't outright hostile towards him, his smiles and kind words are very much fake.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH WE'VE FINALLY REACHED THE LAST DAY OF THIS CHALLENGE! So, Jackpot! ... To put it simply, this song kicks ass (to quote verbatim the words spoken by Dice exactly before he starts rapping, in the anime). The great thing about this song is that it has a completely different vibe from other Fling Posse songs, more aggressive and "hypnotic," if you will.

Let'start by analyzing Ramuda's verse: I like how he's embraced the issue, it's reflected very well in the scratchiness that his voice takes on when he says yeah, as well as in the words he speaks. Then there's Gentaro, with that almost overbearing way of saying "Only I am allowed to utter nonsense here". OK CHILL, MAN. Bat can we talk about the line where he says (in a rather sexy way, just to be original, u know) "Kooun o inottemasu, Good Luck! Nante uso desu (ha ha!) ...Good Bye~." And I'm already flyyyyyyyyyying awaaaay.
