How to Request a DMCA Takedown re: Word-Stream.com
(I, WalkAwayTall, am merely a messenger; this info was copied directly from this post on r/AO3 and posted here with permission from its author, @fuegopi. Use it as you see fit.)
----------
The relevant statute, FYI is 17 U.S.C. § 512 (c)(3)(A), available at https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/17/512
OPTION 1: MAKE A REPORT TO CLOUDFLARE
https://abuse.cloudflare.com/
Step 1: Select “Copyright Infringement & DMCA Violations”
Step 2: Fill Out the Form
(some notes below)
Your Full Name: I understand many fanfic authors prefer anonymity. However, your report/complaint may be taken more seriously if you use both your name and your pseud. For example, I would write, [MY NAME] (“FuegoPI” on AO3).
Holder’s Full Name: Again, that is you, the author.
Contact Information Fields: The DMCA only requires that, you provide “Information reasonably sufficient to permit the service provider to contact the complaining party” — An email address should be sufficient.
Infringing URLS: List the URL of every work you have made that is available on the offending website.
Describe the Original Work: I would list the names of your stories, the word counts, and give AO3 links.
For example: A Fanfic Story (200k Words), originally posted and available at [LINK].
You MUST check the box that says 512(f) acknowledgment, “Good faith belief, Authority to act” and you MUST provide a digital signature or your report will not be accepted.
OPTION 2: MAKE A REPORT TO GODADDY
OPTION 1: Fill out the form at https://supportcenter.godaddy.com/AbuseReport (you may not wish to do this because of the information requested; if so, I recommend sending a letter).
Step 1: Select “Make a Claim”
Step 2: Select Claim Type, “Copyright Infringement”
Step 3: Are you the Copyright Owner or an authorized representative? Select “yes.”
Step 4: Please enter the domain name associated with the website you are complaining about – Fill in “https://word-stream.com/”
Step 5: https://supportcenter.godaddy.com/ipclaims/copyright/infringement If you want to fill this out.
OPTION 2: The form is probably not for everyone, because it requires address information that the DMCA does not strictly require. As a result, I made a template letter for y’all. I recommend attaching to an email.

To preface, I am enrolled in a cybercrime course that deals with defining cybercrimes and things of the like.
And while completing an assignment I fall down the trail of what the definition of CP and CSAM is since the younger gen z's have misconstrued the terms to all hell.
I find this piece hidden in several webpages worth of definitions that are used in laws (regarding CP) that have been in effect since 2003.
(link: https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/2256 )
And adding onto this, the way that younger people (and generally, antis) go about using these terms is so so SO harmful. It degrades the meaning and severity of CP and CSAM to the point that it might harm children by making them think that those terms are only exclusive to drawings, and not actual CSAM.

Being a proshipper just means you don't harass people over fiction, that you can tell the difference between fiction and reality, and that you have a stable rational mind that doesn't urge you to accuse people of crimes over fiction. Most people are proship. Most adults are proship. All your favorite content creators are proship. The only people who are antis are typically ignorant teenagers who think society is too stupid to understand what fiction is.
okay this is absolutely some kind of bait but I don't really care. the term "proshipper" is a stupid term and here's why:
Proship originated as what anon said, a term that meant anti-harassment over ships. However, we've seen multiple times in history that language can change as perception of terms changes (the terms problematic and media literacy losing some meaning, yaoi now becoming synonymous with gay romance in fiction rather than just Japanese media), and thus proshipper no longer means the same thing. I don't need any experience in linguistics to know this.
As for accusing people of real crimes, this is Sometimes. Sometimes an issue. For example, teenagers groomed into creating proship content being doxxed and called a criminal should instead be receiving help. However, on the other side of the spectrum, artists who draw explicit artworks of minors are creating actual CP (link to the American law: https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/1466A)
Proship as a term is now used in connection with pairing fictional characters in incestuous, pedophilic, or otherwise harmful relationships. Can these be explored in media? Yes, yes they can be, the book Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov (written in 1955, mind you, but is still relevant) is an example of pedophilic behavior written in a famous story. But what's important to note is that even with an unreliable narrator, the pedo himself, his actions are not glorified anywhere apart from within his eyes.
In analyzing media one needs to look at motifs, narrator bias, the author's intent, other character's behaviors, and more to understand what is happening. When I see proship artwork I see that the negative implications (if any) are just a scandalous flair to otherwise glorified depictions. Serious topics should be handled seriously, not with a dick in one hand.
While there is a difference in fiction and reality, fiction can cause things to occur in reality. We're on Tumblr, surely you would know of the Voltron cookies incident? As for something that applies to proshipping, various people who have come out with stories about being groomed online will explain that drawn sexual content of children was involved. Still not enough? Lolicon and Shotacon are discovered on social media and saved to the computers of pedophiles. There are even more examples I can make, but this is long enough.
But I'm sure I'm the one here who doesn't have a stable rational mind.

We've been discussing whether or not the documents revealed of Project 2025 constitute call to arms (non-protected speech actions) for the establishment of a conspiracy to commit genocide or engage in violence against protected classes of people. https://msmagazine.com/2024/07/16/the-22-scariest-lines-we-found-in-project-2025s-900-page-mandate-for-leadership/
Someone was asking me what can be done if it is the case that there is a conspiracy in the legal sense and it is in fact illegal or criminal under US law to plan or organize genocide. (https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/1091) "d.
Any person who attempts or conspires to commit an offense under this section shall be punished in the same manner as a person who completes the offense.
" I was saying that it would mean that people need to write their federal, state, county, and city representatives as well as the principal law enforcers such as the President, Governors, and General Attorneys in the relevant jurisdictions. I noted that what you'd specifically want to be writing to these people is a legal complaint (https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/complaint or https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/criminal_complaint) calling for investigation and prosecution. I further noted that writing the the Democratic National Party as well as the state, county, and city chapters would probably be prudent for getting a rally and call to action for creating a class action. If the planning and organization of Project 2025 can be classified as a conspiracy to commit violence against protected classes of people then all the contributors and signatories of Project 2025 are potentially conspirators.
