Activity on my first listen: cutting apples again!

MARTIN: "So, you actually met vampire Trevor then?" Trevor Herbert plays quite a role in Jon an Martin's relationship. First that little dispute whether he's dead or not, which led Martin to reveal his forged CV and, so I think, brought them a bit closer. Now they're chatting about him. And in S5 there will be quite a moment again...

MARTIN:"Ugh, ooh… Is that the one Trevor…?" JON: "Yes." And they also talked more than just "I met Trevor Herbert" it seems, Jon already told him Trevor got rid of a Stranger thing.

JON: [Exhales] "It’s just a notebook. I think… um…" [MARTIN SIGHS IN RELIEF] MARTIN: "What’s in it?" JON: "Not sure, er… Names, locations, dates. I’ll, I’ll check properly later. Doesn’t look like it’s to do with the Unknowing, I don’t think." Do we actually ever get back to the content of that notebook? I can't remember...

MARTIN: "I mean… it wasn’t actually paranoia, though, was it? Because, they were out to get you." Thank you for being the voice of reason, Martin!

MELANIE: "Wasn’t a great time back here, either." God, the way Melanie immediately shuts their conversation down.

MELANIE:"I don’t need your apology. Or your pity." JON: "Of course. ... Of course." This is already a foretaste for Jon of what's to come in S4.

Martin touching everything is so funny. And then that little fight he has with Jon about it and their simultaneous, annoyed "What?", like they rather would have continued bickering! That is something I love about them because you can tell they don't mean it in a hostile way. They already did that wonderfully in MAG 39, and they weren't even planned to get canon back then.

I think this scene is a wonderful example of demonstrating in an audio medium what their surroundings look like and what items they are looking at, by somehow talking about it. Is happens so casually in conversation. And the way they talk about the C4 also creates a bit of build-up.

JON: "I just – I mean – I forgot!" MELANIE: [Indignant & furious] "You forgot?!" MARTIN: [Screeching] "Turn it off!" JON: "I am! Just give me a second –" MELANIE: [Clenched teeth] "Turn it off!" I know (and I also thought this before) that there is the question whether that first "Turn it off" was also Melanie. But go back and listen closely (5:56). It actually is Alex/Martin screeching. You can very well recognize it in the "turn" of the line.

"It’s not like I sleep enough to worry about dreams." Another build-up for that dreams thing. Though it's a bit odd since this is a written statement. With Jon it's very clear it has only been live statements which create that effect.

"I was pursuing my researches into the new emergence I mentioned earlier. I know you are dismissive of the possibility, but if I’m right, the sudden urgency of these “immediate dangers” you are so focused on could very well be a direct result." Extinction foreshadowing!

"I wonder if… death is the same way? No clear dividing line, just… gone, only to realise after it’s happened, except for the fact that there isn’t an after. Is that a comforting thought or a terrifying one?" Aw fuck, thoughts like this always get me... Because I've had them is the very same way before. It has been a while since the last bit like this in a statement. (I think last time it was MAG 78? The other times MAG 70 & 72.)

"I don’t know if my little ‘theoretical’ is strong enough yet to start taking avatars" It is quite a convenient little coincidence there, that Dekker also uses the term "Avatar" for people who can channel a Fear through their body and mind^^ I mean, since it's something Georgie just threw into Jon's brainstorming about a suitable description.

"It’s hard to scream with a breathing tube in you" [surgery/anesthesia/intubation content warning for this bullet point] I mean, I haven't tried to scream and I think the general anesthetics still did a good job numbing me, but being aware of being intubated wasn't so bad. I once woke up still in the operating room (surgery was luckily already over!) and gave the tubus a good bite, asking myself "what the hell is that thing in my mouth- oooh, the tube!" The machine recognizes when you start breathing on your own, so I wasn't force-ventilated. But I guess - and this is total speculation - you wouldn't be able to scream because all the air goes through the tube and therefore can't bring your vocal cords to vibrate.

"The nurse I talked to hadn’t been there, but he had apparently had some sort of near-death experience, and had been describing awful visions to those attending him, muttering obliquely about “terrible things” he’d had to do to return, and prices that would need to be paid." Sounds similar to that one in MAG 155, but still not quite...

"As you know, I am not by any means a Hunter, and if Justin Gough was as far gone as he appeared, it was likely he was no longer human enough for me to remove him without the aid of one." Interesting lore there. Some, who serve the Fears, can only be destroyed by a Hunter. That’s gonna be important for S5...

Dreams kinda seem to be an End thing though, since Oliver Banks describes his quirks also to be dreams. Do dreams come up in other instances or just the End and the Eye?

JON: "I’m not too concerned, to be honest, my dreams are, uh… well, let’s just say I don’t think they’re going to be letting anyone else in any time soon." How can he be so sure of that? He already knows what they are and how they work I suppose...

It happens right away honestly, as he is your introduction to Devildom 

You arrive suddenly in the student council, with no fucking warning, and with a bunch of people who are saying they’re demons. And like yeah okay sorcery obviously exists in your world so we can work with this but

He looks at a file, and states your deadname, and in a fit of bravery or just “i guess im here now” you correct him. 

The silence after that is palpable and every negative emotion you’re feeling as you wait shows up on your face. 

Lucifer only has a slight frown, looking at the paper, and at you, before it clears.

“Oh. Humans. I understand.” He marks something on the paper, and repeats your name. Your real name.

“Should I assume that the pronouns listed are incorrect as well?”

He calls for a RAD uniform that you’re most comfortable with, while Diavolo gushes over “HUMAN!!!”

Okay, cool, you’re hanging with demons now but at least they respect your pronouns? Guess this is your life. Your next question is whether you’re dead lol

So he knows the whole time, but it doesn’t change a thing! He loves you the same.

When you’re closer, he is very to-the-point about caring for you when you’re feeling dysphoric.

He offers you tips, makes sure you maintain your voice training even if you’re embarrassed about it, and always pushes you to express yourself how you want.

Hell maybe they use that princely riches to get you whatever surgeries you might want!

And he will *very clearly* show you how much he likes your body, however it is. 

After all, by the end of the game you belong to him, don’t you?

Mammon

When he's first assigned to be your guardian or whatever in Devildom, he didn't get the memo. 

Didn't read the paperwork, cause he's just like me and puts off homework for way too long.

So he doesn't know these pronouns of yours that Lucifer has fixed in the documentation.

Which means, unfortunately, you have to correct him when he first speaks to Levi about you.

What's funny about it is that he'll complain about LITERALLY EVERYTHING having to do with you and you being a human and UGH he has to take care of a FRAGILE HUMAN

But when you correct the pronouns he doesn't even fucking blink.

You don't even explain.

You just say the correct pronoun after he messes up, and then he repeats you and *continues complaining about you* but this time in the correct pronouns.

This is the first moment out of a million of "hidden endearing things about Mammon" that you will come to learn.

Later, when you're closer, he will always be there to stand up for you and put up a fight if anyone wants to give you shit.

He will defend you to the end of time. 

And he adores you. If he -- The Great Mammon -- adores you, then you must be perfect. So you can tell your stupid human brain to stuff it with the negative talk.

Leviathan

When you deny wearing the Ruri-chan dress for him, he's sad.

He KNEW you thought he was weird… and his thing for Ruri-chan was weird… and weirddmmm

So, you hesitantly tell him that… no, truly its not because of Ruri-chan

You just.. feel so sick when wearing dresses.

Something in you physically hurts, and you feel so *wrong* when in a situation where you're supposed to act "girly".

And you tell him that you don't really identify as female. You try to avoid that image whenever you can.

Levi is so touched that you would tell him and be honest with him.

He hugs you tightly and then turns beet red.

"D-Does that mean that you m-might.. kabedon… as Henry….?"

Cause he has that costume too and has never told anyone that he def would be seduced by his TSL hero.

You can get behind that one, and seeing how flustered he gets around you being yourself (through Henry?) has your confidence skyrocketing

This makes way to you flirting with ya boi 100% more often to see his adorable face.

Beelzebub

You go with him to work out, which is nothing really new, but this time he's looking at doing endurance training

...by swimming.

You have no idea what to do. 

He didn't think twice about it, either. He didn't assume there would be any problem at all. 

But for some reason your brain decided that his helpful and loving attitude wouldn't extend to this? Brains are silly when scared.

You try not to tear up when he questions why you've frozen in the doorway when he told you his plan.

You have no reason to be ashamed, or fearful, but the suddenness of the moment overwhelms you.

"I can't wear a swimsuit," is what comes out.

He pauses and then just looked vastly confused. He thought humans could swim..? Anyone could wear a swimsuit. You were wearing clothes right? What's the difference?

You wrap your arms around yourself, tryiing to soothe your nerves. "It's.. It shows too much.."

Then he looks you over, causing you to blush further, and he tips his head. "But you look nice."

Well if you weren't blushing before, now you definitely were. But it's not that. You hold your breath.

You try to explain without actually saying it, almost as if the word transgender has been blocked from your internal vocabulary. 

But this babe just insists that you look great no matter what. Is it scars? Like everyone here has scars, it's okay. Weird toes? You should see Belphie's. There's a reason he wears socks all the time. 

That almost makes you giggle, and you use that courage to say that you're trans.

He pauses for just a seond to blink. "Oh... nobody cares about that here."

He pulls you into a hug while you struggle for words. He tells you that you don't have to go swimming if you don't want to.

But he makes sure you know that he thinks you're wonderful. You're strong and brave and amazing. He will fight anyone who makes you feel differently. 

Asmodeus

It’s seeing Asmo be unequivocally himself that gives you the courage to do it.

You haven’t even told your human friends yet. Your human family.

You’ve known for ages, but..

Seeing Asmo flounce over to you wearing the most STUNNING evening dress has you weak at the knees, for reasons other than he assumes.

He assumes that you’re wildly in love as you duck your head and try to mumble something through your shaking breaths, and of course, who wouldn’t be?

But when he coaxes you to speak up for him, delight of a whole different kind lights up in his expression.

“Could you… make me as pretty as you?”

Oh, darling, he wouldn’t even need to try.

He dolls you up, hosting a lovely makeover session in his room. What he doesn’t expect is for you to start crying when you look at yourself in the mirror.

Asmo’s unshakeable confidence is shaken. He rushes over to you, trying to brush away tears and learning what’s wrong.

That’s when you tell him what you’d been hiding for so long.

The adoration in his eyes catches you off guard, and he takes your hands lovingly. “Oh, honey..” he mumbles, affectionate and sweet instead of seductive. “What’s your name?”

He takes you out shopping the next day, and is always ready to help you be yourself. 

He makes the switch almost instantly, and calls you the prettiest thing he’s ever seen even when you’re just waking up in the morning and kind of feel like a toad. 

(You blame him for those mornings, though, since he’s the one working so hard to *thoroughly* exhaust you the night before.)

Satan

You and Satan have begun meeting rather often for tea. 

It’s even gotten to the point where you’re both perfectly happy to sit in silence around each other. You’ve never been more comfortable.

But today, chaos reigns, and it has decided to make you clumsy today. Not even like, oh “that’s reasonable” clumsy.

No, you were enthralled in your fucking book, and you MISSED. 

Tea, all down your chin and neck, and you hear a snort of derision.

Satan is looking at you, very clearly amused. “Very graceful.”

You huff and puff out your cheeks at him to prevent from blushing. “Shut up. Do you have a towel?”

Looking no less amused, he just pulls a new shirt from the dresser behind him and offers it to you. 

You guys are chill. Good friends. Like. You don’t want to get up to go find a bathroom to change in. Your book is good and like Satan’s not about to be a creep, so you ask if it’s cool if you just change there, and he shrugs in response.

So, you swap shirts quickly, but when you’re dry he’s looking at you curiously.

“You have battle scars.”

You realize that you’d never told him. About your past, or your surgery, and you suddenly feel very self-conscious. 

“It’s- .. Not exactly,” you fumble out, realizing that now, instead of finishing your amazing book, you have to deal with *coming out?* Ughhhhhh. “They’re from a surgery.”

Satan’s eyes don’t leave you. “I’ve read enough about the human world to know what they are,” he said, then he nods to himself. “I didn’t know you’d had such a fight.”

You are either very, very impressed or very, very confused and you really don’t know which to lean towards just yet. 

“I’ve never been in a battle, Satan.”

“You fought to become yourself,” he answered, a small smile tracing his lips. “You never cease to impress me.”

Belphegor

The best part about becoming best friends with Belphie is the snuggle naps. It's the sweetest, calmest thing.

He is a little confused about why you insist on hugging a pillow when you nap with him, though.

He admits, its adorable. When he's big spoon he loves looking at you as you snuggle the big fluffy pillow. 

When he wants to face you, though, he wants to be closer, he doesn't really understand it. He doesn't want to make you uncomfortable but also.. why?

Eventually, he tries to get answers out of you by teasing you about getting closer *intimately*. 

He does expect the blush.

He doesn't expect the look of despair that you hide from him.

He's stunned for a moment before demanding to know why the hell you would look so sad about that.

You try to shake it off, but Belphie's nothing if not persistent and annoying when he wants to be.

He learns that you have been trying really hard for months now to hide your body from him. To keep your personal info private, even while snuggling. 

You didn't know how he would take it, after all. 

What if he got something he wasn't expecting?

Honestly, Belphie sulks after hearing this. He flicks your forehead and glares at you for doubting him. 

But he looks you dead in the eyes and reminds you that you could never convince him you were anything less than perfect.

If you expected him to be disappointed by whatever you hid during snuggles, he would never be. You would never be a disappointment to him.

Your next nap together doesn't feature the pillow between you, which makes your heart feel fit to burst while he snuggles you closer.

Sprinkle Ache

A little drabble requested by my sister! Originally written on the notes section of my phone.

“I told you not to eat those industrial-grade sprinkles anymore. It literally says ‘not for human consumption’ on the back.”

“Twas but a wee bellyache, dear brother!” Mabel Pines replied in a fancy voice like the people used in those black-and-white movies Grunkle Stan liked to watch when he thought everyone was asleep. “I’m feeling much better now!”

“Too bad we can’t say the same for the bathroom,” Dipper shuddered as he settled onto his bed, leafing through the new Sibling Brothers book. “You just had to use the one in the shop, huh?”

“It was so romantic of Soos to clean it up for Melody,” Mabel swooned as she fitted her favorite purple socks onto her feet. “He really is a better boss than Stan.”

“Yeah. Romantic. Anyway, you should probably get some sleep so it doesn’t come back. And no jumping on the bed.”

“Ugh, okay, Mom,” Mabel groaned, flopping back on her pillow. “Waddles and I will just binge watch ‘Real Housewives of Nome, Alaska.’”

As if on cue, Waddles came pounding up the stairs, shaking the entire house on his way up.

“Mabel, that pig is 400 pounds. You need to quit bringing him upstairs before he breaks the floor. The Shack is not exactly structurally sound.”

“Shhhhh...” Mabel chided, covering Waddles’ ears. “We do not body-shame in this attic!”

Dipper rolled his eyes and put on headphones to drown out the drama of Mabel’s reality TV before rolling over with his book. He must have fallen asleep somewhere in chapter 17, because the next thing he knew Waddles’ cold snout was pressed to his back.

“Ah!” He shot upright. “Waddles, what are you—“

In the moonlight filtering in through the window slats, he could see Mabel curled up in a painful ball, teeth grit. He quickly flicked on the lamplight and pulled off his headphones.

“Mabel, are you okay?”

She only moaned in response. Dipper hopped out of bed and rushed to her side. “Mabel, come on, what’s going on?”

“I think the sprinkles are back for revenge,” she whispered, clutching her stomach. Dipper could see beads of sweat rolling down her forehead.

“Okay, um, let me get—“

“Oh no!” Mabel grabbed the empty pillowcase she used as a sleeping bag for her stuffed animals and threw up in it. “Oh, I’m sorry, Mr. Sparklenose, I’ll get you a new one.”

“Okay, uh, does it hurt when I do this?” Dipper gently pressed on her abdomen, evoking a yelp of pain.

“Oh yeah. Definitely hurts. Don’t do that again.”

“I think you need to go to the hospital.”

“No, no hospital,” Mabel hunched over and flopped on her side. “I-I’ll be fine.”

“You feel kinda hot. I think this is more than a stomachache. I’m gonna go wake up Stan and Ford.”

“No, they're so old, they need 15 hours of sleep or they’ll die!”

“They’ll be fine. I’ll be right back.” Dipper padded down the stairs and rapped on the door to Ford’s room, which he now shared with Stan since Soos had taken over the former Mr. Mystery’s bedroom.

“Come in, I’m still up,” Ford replied.

Dipper peered in, spotting Ford reclining on his bed, nose buried in the latest edition of his favorite scientific journal. “Uh, Grunkle Ford? I think Mabel needs to go the hospital. Her stomachache’s back, and I think she’s got a fever.”

“Really?” Ford asked in concern, setting aside his reading. “Does it hurt to the touch?”

“Yeah. She seems worse than before. Do you think it’s serious?”

“I definitely think we should get her checked out.” He stood up and went to his brother’s bed on the other side of the room, where Stan was sprawled out snoring. “Stanley, wake up.”

“Uggggh, for the last time Sixer, I ain’t goin jogging at 4 AM.”

“It’s half past midnight, Stan, and this is about Mabel.”

“What?” Stan lifted his head. “She all right?”

“We need to take her to the emergency room. Dipper says her abdominal pain is back, and it seems to have gotten worse.”

In an instant, Stan was out of bed and pulling a shirt over his ratty tank-top. “Ford, go start the car. I’ll bring her down.”

Dipper followed his grunkle up the stairs. It was amazing how fast the arthritic old man could move when his beloved great-niece needed help.

Mabel was still writhing on the bed, nightgown soaked with sweat. Dipper glanced away from the floor, which was splotched with evidence his sister had gotten sick several more times since he’d ran downstairs.

“Oh, pumpkin,” Stan brushed Mabel’s hair out of her eyes. “Your belly not treating you very well right now, huh?”

“I don’t needta go to the hospital, Grunkle Stan,” she mumbled, clutching her stuffed pink manatee.

“There’s nothing to be scared over, sweetie,” Stan assured. “Dipper and Ford and me’ll be right there with you the whole time, okay?” He carefully gathered her in his arms like a sleeping baby. “Hold down the fort while we’re out, okay, pig?”

Dipper quickly stuffed an extra change of clothes for Mabel and some of her art supplies in his backpack, just in case she had to stay the night. He ram ahead of Stan and hopped in the backseat of the car.

“No ya don’t,” Stan lifted him out by the collar of his shirt and plunked him the passenger seat seat, squeezing himself into the back, refusing to set Mabel down. “I need the extra leg room.”

The hospital was only a 10 minute drive from the Shack. Dipper hoped the doctors here were a bit more competent than the other citizens of Gravity Falls.

There were no other patients in the waiting room, which was lucky, since Stan would’ve broken their knees if they tried to go in front of Mabel. A nurse led them back right away.

“Looks like you do have a little fever, honey,” she patted Mabel’s head sympathetically. “The doctor will be right back.”

“Please tell him to hurry. We’ll pay extra!”

“That’s not necessary, Stan,” Ford elbowed his brother.

“All right then,” the doctor (whom Dipper recognized as apparently the only one in Gravity Falls—which didn’t exactly fill him with confidence) pulled back the curtain. “Let’s have a look at Miss Mabel here.”

“It’s just a little bout of sprinkle tummy, no big deal,” Mabel bit her lip, pink manatee in a death grip. She winced as the doctor pressed on her belly.

“Take it easy there, doc!” Stan exclaimed, Ford once again elbowing him.

“I’m worried it might be appendicitis,” Ford suggested.

“Hmmm, that’s certainly a possibility.” The doctor pulled over the bedside ultrasound machine, applying the cool gel to her abdomen.

“That’s cold,” she whispered, glancing nervously at the monitor.

“I can confirm it is indeed appendicitis. And it appears the appendix has already ruptured.”

“That-that means she needs surgery, doesn’t it?” Dipper asked worriedly.

“I’m afraid so, son. Immediately.”

“No! I-I don’t want surgery,” Mabel turned to look at her family. “Grunkle Stan, don’t let him!”

“There, there, sweetie,” Stan ruffled her hair. “Doc, isn’t there any other way.”

“I’m afraid not, sir. Unless we remove the ruptured tissue and start a course of antibiotics right away, there’s a very good chance your niece will become septic.”

“Septic...” Stan looked to Ford, who nodded grimly.

“We’ll phone her parents for permission. A nurse will be in right away to prep her for surgery.” The doctor exited, leaving Mabel on the verge of hysterics.

“Grunkle Stan, Grunkle Ford, I don’t wanna have surgery!” Hot tears rolled down her cheeks.

“Don’t worry, Mabel, it’s not that big a deal,” Dipper assured, taking her hand. “Remember when I had my tonsils out? I got to stay home and eat ice cream and everyone brought me gifts. You’ll get lots of presents. It won’t be that bad, you’ll see.”

Mabel choked. “But I don’t wanna be cut open! I don’t want them to put me to sleep!”

“There’s nothing to fear, Mabel,” Ford put a hand on her shoulder. Stan could instantly tell he was about to make the situation worse. “To put it in simple terms, the anesthetic will turn off the the portion of you brain responsible for consciousness. You’ll be completely unaware of everything happening, including the passage of time. It will seem as if no time has gone by at all. In fact, anesthesia has been likened to more of a ‘controlled death’ than sleep, because—“

“Death!?” Mabel’s already pale skin whitened even further.

“In a way. They will place a tube down your throat to provide oxygen since you likely cease breathing and—“

“OKAY, I think that’s enough of that, Sixer!” Stan clamped a hand over his brother’s mouth. “Don’t listen to him, sweetie. I had my wisdom teeth taken out when I was 16, so I have first hand experience. None of that dying junk. Why, I dreamed I was sliding down rainbows the entire time!”

“Rainbows?”

“Of course! And uh, there was a magical, uh, stingray-puppy-horse with me. All polka-dotted. Best dream ever..”

Mabel looked doubtful, but she had stopped crying. Stan decided to take that as a win. He knelt down beside the bed and gently ruffled her hair. “Just don’t be scared, okay? You’ve handled a lot more than a little old surgery. It’ll be over before you even know what’s happened, and I’ll be right here when you wake up.”

“Promise?”

“Cross my heart. Now you and Mrs. Manatee be good for the nurse, okay, pumpkin?”

“Okay,” Mabel agreed, keeping her arms locked around the stuffed animal. Dipper crawled up onto the bed and gave his sister a hug.

“When you get home, I’ll let you put makeup on me. But no pictures and I get to wash it off right away. Deal?”

“One picture?”

“Stop pushing your luck,” Dipper gave her a gentle shove.

“Okay. No pictures. The picture in my mind will be plenty.”

“Good thing you curb-stomped the memory gun or else I would totally wipe it from your brain.”

“Honey?” The nurse poked her head through the curtain. “We’re gonna take you back now. But we’ll let you talk to your parents before you go to sleep.”

Mabel glanced over at her uncles. “Will you walk back with me?”

“As far as we can, little one,” Ford smiled.

Another nurse came in and folded down the bed railing. Stan and Ford stood on either side of the bed as the nurses rolled Mabel out of the room, holding her hands. Dipper remained perched at the foot.

“Here’s your stop, little man,” one of the nurses said as they reached a pair of doors marking “PERSONNEL ONLY.” He lifted Dipper off the bed.

“You’re gonna do great, pumpkin,” Stan leaned down and gave Mabel a kiss on the head. “We’ll be right there when you wake up.”

Mabel gave her grunkles and brothers a final hug before a nurse handed her a cell phone so she could talk to her mom and dad. She looked back and gave a final wave as the doors closed, chattering into the phone. Evidently the pain drip was doing its job.

The moment the doors shut, Dipper turned his face into Ford, his little shoulders shuddering.

“Dipper, what’s the matter, boy?” Ford kneeled down.

“I just-what if-I’m afraid...” Dipper’s brown eyes filled with tears as dropped his face into Ford’s shoulder, so the hospital staff wouldn’t see him cry.

“Hey... look at me Dipper.” The kid didn’t respond, keeping himself buried in Ford’s sweater. “Mason... look at me,” he repeated, a little more softly.

Dipper lifted his head and swiped at his eyes. “I’m just scared that-that she won’t be all right.”

“Mabel will just fine. You did the right thing, coming to get us. We got her here just in time. You might’ve saved you sister’s life.”

Dipper smiled weakly and sniffed. “Yeah... yeah, you’re right.”

The family headed to the waiting room to settle in. “We should hear back before too long,” Ford said. “Appendectomies usually don’t take much more than an hour.”

Exhausted by the night, Dipper soon dozed off, slumped against Ford’s arm. Stan paced the room, claiming it was to prevent his legs from cramping. Soos and Melody arrived about half an hour later, having driven to the 24/7 supermarket the next town over to pick up as many fuzzy blankets, stuffed animals, balloons, and get-well-soon cards as their arms could carry.

“I couldn’t decide if she’d like the pink, purple, yellow, or blue teddy bear best, so I got them all,” Soos rationalized.

A little over an hour later, the doctor returned. “How is she?” Stan asked, worried out of his mind despite Ford’s constant reassurances.

“I can confirm the surgery was a success. She’s been moved to recovery, and you can be there when she wakes up.”

Mabel’s eyes were just beginning to flutter open when her family entered the recovery room. Dipper moved Mrs. Manatee so the toy was tucked under his sister’s arm.

“Good morning, pumpkin,” Stan squeezed his niece’s hand. “How you feelin?”

“Sore,” she spoke after a moment. “I-I don’t remember any rainbows.” She gazed off at the corner. “Is that giraffe for me?”

“She should be more lucid in a short while,” the nurse promised.

Dipper laughed. “Naw. That’s just Mabel.”

“We got some feel-better presents for you, girl-dude,” Soos covered her with an assortment of blankets while Melody lined the bed with stuffed animals, a balloon tied to each one.

“Thanks, Soos,” Mabel managed a grin. “Look, new friends, Mrs. Manatee!”

“Mom and Dad are driving up from home,” Dipper told her. “They should be here by tonight. And I texted Candy and Grenda. Once it’s morning they’ll be by with some Post-Preteen magazines.”

Mabel wrapped her arms around as many stuffed animals as she could hold. “Dipper?”

“Yeah.”

“Thanks for making me come. I know I could’ve gotten super sick if I didn’t.” She handed him one of her new stuffed animals, a seahorse. “Here. The boys have the babies. You love weird stuff like that.”

Dipper chuckled. “Thanks, sprinkle queen.”

“Ugh,” Mabel stuck out her tongue. “I don’t think I’m ever eating sprinkles again.”

“You know that’s not what caused your appendix to explode, right?”

“Doesn’t matter... I’ve never seen such colorful throwu—“

Dipper put out his hand. “TMI.”

“All right, all right,” Stan scooped Dipper off the bed. “Let your sister get some rest.”

“Can’t he stay, Grunkle Stan?” Mabel asked from underneath her mountain of stuffed animals and blankets. “I won’t be able to get better if he’s not here.”

“Only if you promise to rest and not yammer with each other.”

“We will.”

Stan tucked the sheets around Mabel. “No more gettin sick, okay, pumpkin?”

“Promise.”

Stan settled in next to his brother, keeping watch over their niece and nephew, who soon fell asleep on the hospital bed. “Honestly, Sixer... I don’t know what I’d do without those kids.”

Lana handed the detective a flash memory, he inserted it into his computer, it contained a video and some screenshots, she pointed at the video

“It was taken yesterday in Chicago public schools! Your witness was fighting! Play it”

The video started with Hai’s having her hair pulled! Chase started shaking his head in terror, and only stopped when she broke free, he then leaned forward towards the screen when she walked towards one of the boys, slapping his phone away from his grasp, it tumbled on the ground! And when the boy tried to pick it up, Hai stomped his hand. Chase smiled with a subtle nod upon watching this.

‘You can't just take photos or videos of people without their consent! Ugh teens these days know no manners!’

He snickered, but soon, his eyes widened in terror as the other girl came from behind Hai, raising a chair, he shut his eyes! But opened them just in time when Hai dodged another strike and landed the last blow!

Lana, who’s been watching Chase’s reactions raised an eyebrow, for someone who examines gruesome crime scenes, he’s being too emotional!

“You’re biased” she told him

“Of course I am!” He shamelessly admitted “That girl saw a dead body in her weekend, is probably being threatened, and she’s going through a hard time, she needs a break! Not a bunch of bullies picking on her!“  he turned back to the screen “What was all that about though?”

“I scrolled until I got to this comment!” She opened one of the screenshots, Chase smirked at her

“You slacking at work obviously” she glared at him

“Just shut up and read!”

“I KNEW IT!” He cried “She knows more than she’s letting on!” Lana crossed her arms

“Then why did you not grill her for information?”

“Because she’s scared for her life! I don’t want to be the one to put her in danger!!!” He answered

“We are the police!” He interrupted “We’ve been training for YEARS to conquer the fear of death and bending our will to put our lives on the line! This is our job and these are its obligations! You can’t expect the same dedication from her! She’s just a kid!!! “

“Yeah I know she’s minor and shocked and all that but there is a SERIAL KILLER on the loose and we have NO leads! You can’t go soft!”

“For the sake of argument let’s assume she knows vital information, do you think the killer would let her live with it?!”

“Yes! They only needed to keep her quite! You see, the accounts that uploaded the video got hacked! Gladly I managed to save a copy into this flash memory before all traces were removed“

“Well” he started “It seems that our hacker did this for her sake! Perhaps she requested for them to be hacked”

“Yeah right! Things are not always what they seem! The killers couldn’t publicly say: she talked too much! So we’re gonna remove her videos... “ she argued

“What about her account? Was it hacked?” She took few seconds to answer

“... No It wasn’t...”

“If I was a hacker involved in serial killing, and a little girl revealed information, I’d hack HER ACCOUNT first, then everyone else who uploaded the video... can you show me her profile?”

Lana opened Hai’s Instagram profile on her phone and showed Chase “Not much! Just some dishes she cooks, video game stuff, but mostly those crazy suicidal rooftop videos” she shuddered

“Parkour videos! She boasted about her skills! That’s definitely her!” He turned to her, teasing “Being the procrastinator you are, I bet you already scrolled through the whole account! Did she ever upload a picture of herself?”

“No”she pretended she didn’t hear the procrastination part

“No wonder she got mad at those who filmed the fight! she doesn’t want her face in public social media, and the hacker came through FOR her!”

“It sure is NICE to have a hacker as a friend!” She said in a wishful tone

“A friend!” He whispered to himself, then widened his eyes with realization “Come to think of it! Hai seems to value Marki! Heck she even reached out to him instead of the police!”

“I’d do the same to be honest! I hate to admit but a hacker is more capable than cops!”

“What if Marki and the hacker are one and the same?!!!” He wondered

“Look at all you learned” She smiled “what would you do without me”

“Thank you! Still, Those are just hypothesis. Not facts... except for the ugly truth that a hacker is involved... “ his last sentence was said in a terrified tone, Lana noticed his face gradually getting pale

“You’re shaking? Are you alright?” She asked

“This is CHICAGO!The smart ass city where everything is run by CTOS!” His voice grew louder, drawing the attention of everyone in the room “Haven’t you noticed how (fatal accidents) sky rocketed ever since the introduction of Ctos? This system gave Hackers more than just access to money and information! They now have the whole city’s infrastructure in their fingertips! We’ve already learned about autosomal recessive inheritance back in school, how to determine the health condition of the children based on their parents health condition, weather they’re healthy, carriers, or infected! However, X linked recessive inheritance is a whole new story! First, am gonna explain the basic facts...

In X linked recessive inheritance diseases, women, could be: healthy, carrier, infected (rare though)

A male can be either healthy, or infected! He can’t be a carrier!  Now, the properties!

Males do not absorb bad genes, nor pass them down! They only receive them from their mothers! As for females,,,

They absorb the bad genes, and pass them down too! Now, let’s see how we determine the health condition of a new born male!

As you can see, it does NOT depend on his father? Why? Because even if the father is infected, as a male, he doesn’t pass it down to his son… and the son, being male as well, doesn’t absorb the bad genes… Thus! His health condition depends on his mother!

lemme explain the possible scenarios...  starting with a healthy mother...

If the mother is healthy, they’ll be healthy! However, if she’s a carrier,,,

,,,he either receive a bad gene, or get lucky and receive a good one! But if the mother was infected…

…Her male children would be too!!! Moving on to female children.

Females absorb the genes from both parents, so her health condition depends on both of her parents...this is why I divided the females in half…now... If her father was infected,

She’ll absorb the bad gene and become a carrier! So it’s safe to say: male hemophiliac have carrier daughters… as for the other half, it depends on the mother! If she’s healthy, nothings there to absorb, however if she’s a carrier, she could either get a good gene and stay a carrier,

and in rare cases get the bad gene and become hemophiliac!

And if both parents are hemophilic, they should adopt instead of risking having children of their own. Questions?

“Not only that! The killer DEFINITELY suffers hemophilia! Either A or B! But not Hemophilia C! “

“Why?” Asked Marki

“Hemophilia C has autosomal recessive inheritance, so males can be carriers and pass down the bad genes! If it was hemophilia C, we’d have seen male victims too. Plus, hemophilia C is not as bad as hemophilia A and B! Severe hard to stop bleedings tend to happen only after a major injury or surgery. However, it’s rather threatening to females! Because every month th_ Ah! Am glad I don’t have it! Otherwise I wouldn’t be able to go street fighting!” Azur explained!

“This bit about monthly thingy with women!” Said the puzzled Marki “Explain it again! I don’t follow!” Azur waved his hand in dismissing signal

“It’s a girl thing! Don’t concern yourself with it”

“Well, my mother, sisters, Hai, your mom, and Noir are females! I care about them!” He said with determination

“Wait...” Noir interfered “You really don’t know?”

Azur mouthed (no please don’t) at her, Hai frantically waved her arms and shook her head

“Well, what Azur’s trying to say is: women are of an incredible breed! They bleed constantly for a whole week on monthly basis, and yet, somehow they survive!”

“What! He gave me the puppy eyes!” Complained Noir, she glared at Azur “ Plus, YOU’RE the one who brought this up!” And before an argument erupts, Marki stopped them

“Alright enough! We’ve established that the killer has either hemophilia A or B and that hemophilia C is out of the question! Can we get back to the topic?”

“Where were we? Right! The killer! He’s blaming the female patients and carriers for spreading the illness! Trying to clear them off the face of earth! He thinks he’s doing a good thing trying to eliminate the disease.”

“Pffft! That’s wishful thinking!” Said Hai “It’s impossible to eliminate the disease entirely! “

“Yes, but If this goes on, OTHERS might get inspired and start serial killing movements OUTSIDE of Chicago! This has to be stopped!” Said Azur, Noir elbowed him

“Stopping them is on the police! Stay out of it!” She demanded

“We gotta warn the potential victims though!“ Said Marki, he turned to the girls “Do you have the warning message ready?

“Nope!” Answered Hai “ I need to tweak it and add Azur’s information! I’ll send it to you once done...”

“Try to have it ready for tonight! Now, let’s get ready to leave!”

The garage’s door opened, and Marial drove her car out slowly, taking in her surroundings, she saw a car, and heard it’s engine starting, she narrowed her eyes A stalker! Um, if you feel comfortable and have the time, could you write one where how the RFA + Saeran and V react to MC coming out as ftm trans? I understand if it's outside of your comfort zone and it's totally fine if you don't want to do it. Thank you.

Just so you all know: I will most likely never turn down a LGBTQ+ request, because I am proudly a pansexual, and I’m maybe 96% sure that I’m not cisgender. Requests like this don’t make me uncomfortable whatsoever, and I’m happy to write things like it! These will also be in different situations like MC coming out after they’ve been dating and MC coming out to them before they transition outwardly. I’m also going to give warnings for one slur, a panic attack, and dysphoria. Stay safe, nerds.

Also! I promise that I’ll V and Saeran later, but they’re not in this post for the time being. Soon, though!

Yoosung: (Set at the party, no eye issues, though)

Okay, yeah, he would probably know someone in person that wasn’t cisgender in real life

If he left the dorm outside of classes

But internet friends were much easier to talk to for him so he probably knew someone that was trans

You were trying to convince yourself that it was all going to be fine while getting ready

Even if you couldn’t properly come out, he most likely wouldn’t question your choice of suit over dress to the party

While the chat room was under the impression that you were a girl, including Seven because you weren’t properly out yet, you were going to present yourself as who you are now, not who you were born as

You had just arrived when Jaehee and Zen greeted you, and they were slightly surprised that you were MC, but you were just using this as fuel

“Could either of you tell me where Yoosung is?” “Right here!” he said as he practically popped up in between the other two hosts, “Who might you be?”

Wiping your palms on your slacks before holding out a hand to shake, you spoke determinedly “I’m MC, Yoosung, hope this isn’t that surprising, me being a guy and all”

You flashed a quick smile, partially out of greeting and partially for how your name sounded rolling off your tongue

“O-oh? No, it’s not surprising. Wait, no! I didn’t mean that in a bad way, of course. I just, yeah, okay, I’ll stop talking” “It’s alright, I know what you mean. I wasn’t exactly open about everything in the chat room”

By this point, Zen had already been whisked off by a guest and Jaehee was attending to some problem that came up

Yoosung just nodded a bit trying to figure out what to say

“I’m really sorry that everyone kept referring to you as a girl and misgendering you. I promise I won’t in the future! Is he/him alright?”

You brightened up instantly and nodded while letting out a breath you weren’t aware of holding

“So is this,” you gestured to yourself, “Alright? I just don’t know since I’m not a girl and you’re probably not int-“ “I don’t care about that, MC. Well, I care about how you feel about yourself, but I don’t care how you dress or what name you use. Wait! O-obviously, it more than that, but you know what I mean. It doesn’t matter to me what gender you are, ‘cause I fell for MC, the person, not MC, the strictly-a-girl.”

This was far more than you could ask for and you kept saying thank to which he just replied with “It’s all okay. You don’t need to thank me for not being a jerk”

The two of you went around the party together with you introducing yourself as the coordinator and him as your boyfriend

When you went off to talk to others, he would tell everyone who you were if they asked

“Yoosung, who did you greet at the door?” “Jumin, that’s MC, my boyfriend” “MC is a-?” “Yep, and I’ll fight you if you say anything bad” “I was not going to, and I have my guards anyways. I was only confused, not being a douche” “Oh, okay! Could you maybe have some of your guards kick any guests that act homophobic or transphobic out?” “Most definitely. Yoosung, you should go by MC. They look quite bored”

Yoosung was already walking away before he gave a “Thanks, Jumin!”

The both of you continued walking around the party before you had to leave for the day with Yoosung making threats to anyone and everyone that gave the two of you odd looks

Later in your relationship, Yoosung started taking you to GSA meetings that his campus held if you wanted to go

Would also go to pride with you if you wanted

Introduced you to some of his online friends that were also trans

Forever introduced you as his boyfriend or later, his husband as long as you were okay with it

Zen: (Set already in a relationship and transitioned. Warning for a censored slur in the sixth bullet point)

When you had first came to his home when he got hurt, Zen had no clue that you weren’t a girl, but he didn’t care

He honestly thought it was Seven just playing a joke when you first came onto the messenger

Flash forward to the two of you now, sitting on the couch eating popcorn while yelling at the idiots in a horror movie he was in a while ago

“Okay, but that dialogue was written horribly, Zen” “You should’ve seen the set directions, that was worse” “How do you top ‘I really hope that Ouija board wasn’t real, because I dropped my knife’ while you were alone? Your character was just speaking in the third person! And then they got fucking mangled, and that was just poor foreshadowing” “Yeah, true”

The conversation went on until it switched over to gossip about the actors working on his current set

“Has anyone gotten fired yet?” “Yeah, there was this PA that called the costume designer a t****y, and she was out of there faster than light. Ugh, that disgusted me. Delgado, the designer, is a really good person, and he sure as hell didn’t deserve that”

You bristled slightly at that word, and it made you uncomfortable that it came from his mouth

“I know you were just quoting, but could you please not say that word?”

Zen looked slightly confused and went on to speak “Yes, of course. Is there a particular reason? Not, not that I need one; I’m just curious”

Leaning back into the couch, you thought a bit about what you were going to say

You hadn’t told him for fear of rejection, but he just spoke well of a colleague that he implied was trans, so it couldn’t be too bad

Sitting back up to properly look at him, you spoke with a note of uncertainty, “Yes, actually. I’m transgender, female to male. It’s why Seven thought I was a girl, since he only looked at my medical records. I haven’t legally changed anything yet, since I didn’t have the money to” “MC! I’m so so sorry for saying that word! I didn’t mean to make you feel uncomfortable at all. I should’ve known not to in front of my own boyfriend”

Perking up a bit at ‘boyfriend’, you exclaimed, “Really? You’re completely fine with it?” “Yes, of course, I am. There’s no reason for me to not be. I work in the entertainment industry, and I’ve been acquainted with people of all sorts. It doesn’t bug me if your driver’s license has an F instead of an M as long as it doesn’t bug you”

You could have thanked him a whole bunch, you just rushed to hug him instead

When you pulled back after a minute or two, you looked at him questioningly

“Do you think the press will talk about it a lot if I out myself?” “They always talk, but I’ll make sure that it’s not negative” “Thank you, maybe I can say something next time you have an event I get to attend” “That sounds great, MC. You’re an amazing boyfriend that’s incredibly brave!” “Zen, I’m just existing” “Which can be really hard”

In the future, he started advocating for trans positive organizations and donating as much money as he could to any shelters

Would have you help him make sure everything was worded correctly and speak with him

“There’s no reason for me to speak over you, MC, but I sure as hell will speak with you”

Surprised you with the forms and money to change everything you could legally on your anniversary

Started saving up money for you to get any surgeries or start T if you wanted to

Jaehee: (set in a relationship where MC hasn’t come out yet, but has been passing as male)

She came home from work ranting about an incident that happened with an intern earlier that day

“I can’t believe how they could say something like that, MC!” “Who, where, and what. I wanna hear this now” “There was this new kid starting his internship today, and he walked into my office as if we were friends, and started talking bad about another coworker. It wasn’t just ‘Oh, she eats loudly’ or ‘She taps her desk a lot’. No, he called her, and I quote, ‘a pedophile just waiting to happen’ since she ‘looks like a transgender pig.’ How do you have the audacity to say things like that when you’re working for such a prestigious company?”

Jaehee was still going off while your head was buzzing with second-hand anger

You fumed without thinking if you were cutting her off “What the actual fuck? Did you report them? Please tell me you decked that dickhead. I want to personally file a complaint, and get them so screwed that they won’t be able to go home without wanting to cut out their tongue”

She stopped to listen to you, staying quiet because she hasn’t seen you this fired up about her work issues in a while

“MC? MC, is everything alright? If you’d like to know, I already told Mr. Han directly, and they’ve been fired and most likely expelled from the school they were attending. I was going to slap him, but someone from HR was walking by the door”

You stopped short, starting to go over what she said in your head

“What do you mean if I’m alright? You should be asking your coworker!” “You just seem like this is affecting you greatly” “Well, yes, its showing me that I can’t be respected in a workplace” “What do you mean? You can always be respe-oh”

“Wait, did I never tell you?” “If we’re thinking the same thing, no” “I could’ve sworn that I told you” “Well, I don’t care about it, so don’t worry about it” “Alright” “Alright”

Now you felt like an idiot

You were sure that you came out to her a while ago

She never really brought it up much after that

If you chose to bind, she’d always make sure you were doing it safely

Jaehee would send you articles about laws getting passed and about pride events that were near you

Would also send you lists of foods that lowered estrogen and increased testosterone

Definitely would not hesitate to slap the next person that made a remark

She may’ve would up sitting in a meeting with Jumin on how you can’t hit people and to tell him first to take care of it nonviolently

dAMMIT, JAEHEE

Jumin: (route spoilers, set when MC is staying with him along with the party and hasn’t come out to anyone yet or transitioned)

Jumin had left you a dress to wear to the party and you were still pacing around the room

You were trying to convince yourself that you only needed to play the role of MC The Woman for a little bit longer

It helped to think of it as you playing someone else than having worse dysphoria, but you just wanted to be seen as MC

Thinking back to when you first talked on the messenger, you winced at the memory of everyone insisting you were a girl even when you said you weren’t

It wasn’t necessarily Seven’s fault, you just weren’t out and couldn’t pass as male or change anything legally

Turning back to the dress, you got the courage to change into it, thinking that it was only a few hours

While you couldn’t wear a hat to tuck in your hair, you could still pin it up to make it look shorter, so you spent some time in front of a mirror and used a bunch of bobby pins to get all of your hair as close to what you had pictured

You were trying your best to still feel masculine even if you had to wear a sports bra instead of a proper binder if you chose to bind

Once you arrived at the party and found Jumin, you tried to hide your discomfort as best as possible until he called you his princess

While it was sweet and he just didn’t know, your throat still felt dry and you excused yourself to go to the restroom

You winced again when you walked past the sign for the women’s washroom and tried to stifle a panic attack that was rapidly getting worse after you locked the door behind you

A few minutes later, there was a soft knock at the door, not like one of someone that actually needed the restroom, so you opened it just expecting to see a cleaning staff member or something

Jumin was standing there trying to play off how worried he was

“MC, I came to check on you, since you’ve been here for nearly half an hour. Is everything alright? You look panicked when I was talking with you, and I assumed that I said something wrong” “To be honest, I’m not okay at the moment, and yes, it was something you said. Don’t worry, tho-��� “MC, I have to worry if you’re not okay, especially so if it’s my fault. Could you please explain what’s going on, so that I can help?” “You didn’t know anything about it’s alright” “It’s not alright. It was ignorance, so could you please tell me what it was so that I can fix it?”

You nodded but asked if you could go sit at a table instead of standing in the bathroom and he laughed just a bit before sitting you down and then sat himself across from you

“I haven’t been completely honest in the chat room about myself, since it seemed impossible to change any of your views of me. To be flat out about it, I’m not female, but I can’t change anything about it right now” “Could you elaborate?”

Jumin looked slightly confused but you could still see how sincerely he wanted to listen to you and help but you kept your head down when you spoke

“I’m trans, Jumin. Transgender. I haven’t been able to come out because of my family, so everything Seven reported was about the MC that’s not quite MC. I can’t really present myself as male yet, but anything that’s put together with femininity makes me feel dysphoric” Dysphoria, that’s the uneasiness that accompanies when you don’t identify with your assigned physical characteristics, yes?”

Jumin wasn’t a dumbass, he just didn’t have lots of real life experience with transgender people

He’s read lots of studies and put rules in place to protect employees, but he’s never had someone close to him trust him with their own experience with it

You looked up and nodded to say yes and were going to speak again when his eyes widened slightly

“MC, I give you my sincerest apologies for making you wear that dress. I had no idea, and I thought you would look good in it. My intentions were not to make you feel bad, and I can-“ “Jumin, it’s okay” “No, it’s not, MC. You’ll have to go around this party for the next seven hours feeling uncomfortable. We can go back to my home if you’d like so you can change” “Jumin, it’s-actually, yeah, that sounds good. Are you sure it’s alright, though?” “Of course, my prince”

That one word made all the difference and you looked at him ecstatically and he gave a small smile to your reactionWhile you were in the car, he started asking you about your transition

He didn’t know that it would’ve been rude to just ask someone, but you answered all of them so that he could understand as much as possible

“I haven’t been able to change my name yet” “How come?” “Haven’t had the money” “…MC” “Yes?” “Would you like to get it fixed?” “Well, yeah, but-“ “We can take care of it tomorrow” “Al-alright”

He tried to ask in a roundabout way if you had had any surgery but you understood what he meant and told him you didn’t

If you wanted to, he called his doctor then and there to recommend someone so that you could schedule it

“I don’t mean to be lewd, and please forgive me if this is out of line, but is that why you’re wearing a sports bra? I feel like that would be very uncomfortable”

His question made your face feel a little hot but you nodded instead of answering verbally

Once you had gotten to your room, you were trying to go through your things to find something that looked formal enough

Jumin walked by the doorway holding a garment bag while you were trying to organize everything

“MC? Is a suit alright? I’m sorry that it’s one of mine, but it didn’t seem like you had much”

Thank any deity right now

However, since it was one of Jumin’s suits, you know what that means?

Matching boyfriends

Once you had gotten back to the party, all eyes were on the two of you

Especially since the other RFA members hadn’t seen either of you at all since you had both stayed out of public spaces as best you could at the beginning

When you were walking around together, he was introducing you to everyone as his boyfriend

Oh, right, that press conference

He had honestly forgot when he was worrying about you, but he was still prepared to answer all the questions

After he had announced that the two of you were involved romantically, he stopped answering the rest of the questions about you and walked over

Jumin had continued to propose to you that evening and Seven tried to yell “Does Jumin Han is gay?”

All he got was a glare and an answer from Jumin of “Grow up. For your information, Jumin Han does MC.”

And with that, you were leaving red-faced

Once you had gotten into the car for the umpteenth time that day, Jumin burst out laughing

You were slightly surprised at the outburst but laughter was taking you too

“Okay, but you realize that that’s what’s going to be everywhere in the chatroom tonight, right?” “I don’t care” “Okay, but you also lied” “How so?” “Because we haven’t, y’know, done anything yet” “Key word: yet” “Okay, bu-wait, what?” “Shit, I didn’t mean to say that aloud” “So would you like to?” “I mean, only if you’re comfortable with it, my prince”

The sight of a red-faced Jumin was something to cherish

Scratch that, Jumin later that evening was something to cherish

Seven: (set where he still comes to the apartment but not under the circumstances of his route , MC that can pass but isn’t completely out)

You had taped over some of the cameras in the apartment when you noticed them the first few days you were there

Yes, it was for your safety, but it made you wildly uncomfortable

So when Seven asked about it in the messenger, you just said that and he said he’d just stay with you then if he couldn’t watch you

Not bothering to force yourself to be feminine, you had changed and picked up the apartment for when he was to get there

Hey, if someone was to be a dick about it out of the members, it wasn’t going to be Seven

You were kicking your clothes under your bed as Seven let himself in so you yelled out

“Wow, didn’t even knock,” you walked into the main room and saw a Seven staring at you, “Everything alright?” “Yeah, yes, your pictures just don’t do you justice”

Smirking in reply, you moved some stuff on a desk to the side when you noticed he had a few laptops with him

“Can I put my shit there?” “What else would I put there?” “Fair point, but I’m going to ditch work for a bit” “Can you do that?” “Why not?” “I wouldn’t want you to get killed by some company that assigned you something” “I just want to watch shitty movies with you right now if that’s alright” “Blanket fort?” “Blanket fort.”

Seven was wrapped up in a random throw blanket and talking trash about the effects or acting every other minute

You made him shut up when a male character was having a flashback and it showed them as a girl when they were younger

Even though the movie was trash, this one scene of representation had you nearly crying

“MC? Is everything alright? I didn’t see a cat or dog die?” “No, no, it’s just-did you even watch that bit?” “Well, um, I was paying more attention to you to be honest” “Dork” “True” “Anyways, it was showing that the character was transgender, and it just, it just really meant a lot to me” “Wait, really?” “Mhmm”

Seven looked almost as excited as you now and he asked you to replay it, and this time, you were watching him rather than the film

“Okay, I know the special effects look like they’re from 2006, but that’s one of the only characters I’ve ever seen that were loudly and proudly trans!”

He was now rambling about how amazing this was and you ending up zoning out his words and just looking at him

His words died down and he started to apologize

“No! Seven, it’s alright. You’re allowed to get excited. I was just thinking about something” “And that would beeee?” “Well, I’m just glad that you’re accepting” “Why wouldn’t I be? You’ve seen that I enjoy to cross-dress. It’d be shitty of me to be transphobic.” “Well that’s good” “Why would you say that?” “ ‘Cause I’m a guy, but you knew me as a girl” “Coolio, do you want popcorn, MC?”

Wait what

“Uh, yeah, thanks, Seven!” “Not what you were expecting?” “Not quite” “Well, I never cared about it, but-oh, fuck” “What’s wrong?” “MC, I am so sorry. Error: Seven just dropped the bowl and now popcorn’s everywhere

“S-sorry! I’ll pick it up!” you grabbed the bowl and started getting as much of the mess cleaned up as you could, “That was idiotic to ask, Seven. I’m sorry, too. You can leave it made you uncomfortable”

Seven dropped down beside you to clean it up and that’s when you realized he was almost as red as his hair

“Don’t apologize. I was just taken aback. However, I quite would like to have you as my boyfriend” “Wait, really?” “Yeah, I bet you’d be a great boyfriend” “But?” “But my job has me kind of screwed. After I get out of it, could we maybe go out then? I just don’t want my boyfriend getting hurt, because he’s connected to me”

Now you were the one to be surprised and as red as a tomato

“Yeah, that’d be good, Seven. I’m willing to wait as long as you need” “Thank you, MC! Wait, can I still use that name?” “Yeah, it’s fine” “You’re sure?” “Mhm” “Alright, future boyfriend, MC”

You were both smiling dorks leaning on each other continuing to watch the movie and make remarks

When the credits rolled, he turned to you after grabbing his phone

“Hey, MC?” “Yeah?” “Can we take a picture?” “Sure”

Seven flipped the camera then put his arm around you to bring you closerWhile the flash was going off, he kissed your cheek and were startled slightly but just smiled more

You were, once again, bright red as he was grinning and setting it as his profile picture in the messenger

“Can I send it to the chat?” “Sure, you dork, but it’s your fault if Zen starts ranting” “That’s the best part, though” “True, make sure you send it, though, so that I can keep it” “Sure thing”

You both fell asleep sprawled in the blanket fort and woke up to several missed calls and a bunch of unread texts

In the future, Seven finally left his job and was able to actually date

He never failed to use your pronouns and always said my boyfriend whenever he could

Alrighty! If there’s anything inaccurate, make sure to tell me, and I’ll change it. I hope that you liked this, but I know that I probably made a few mistakes. Keep in mind that I’m going to write V’s and Saeran’s soon, too! Sometimes I just cant come up with seven different scenarios, but I’ll try my best to get the other two up when I can.
