thought i'd share some morrowind mods i'm using. my aim's for a largely vanilla-game feel with some goofy fun here and there

Various 4t2 Hair Conversions
Long time no see! Sorry for that, I've spend a lot of time learning how to fix some issues with meshes (spoiler: I am still not a master of meshing, but have some progress). But here I am and I have for some new hairs for you!

1. Starting simple, how did they first meet?
While I've briefly touched on Vykrum's connection to the House of Hope, that's not very specific, and a lack of specifics isn't very FUN.
Vykrum originally started visiting the HoH for the portal room, so it makes the most sense that they would meet there. I doubt Vykrum would be coaxed into exploring the house indepth before meeting young Gortash, and there are plenty of reasons why a slave might be tempted to try utilizing a room full of portals to escape lmao. Especially one as clever as Flymm.
(Also. Idk why and this is sort of off topic, but does anyone else struggle to call him 'Enver'. It feels gross. I Don't Like It.)
Anyway. Vykrum is coming back to the HoH just as Flymm is picking the lock to the door. He needs to Get in that room Flymm is fucking around with. So he misty steps his ass behind that kid and goes You Are Not Picking That Effectively. Let Me Pick It. Stupid Boy. And Flymn is like ohhhhh I really don't like you already. Even though he's probably seen Vykrum around. Possibly approached him before playing up the poor little orphan child aspect for sympathy points he definitely doesn't receive lol.
Vykrum helps him pick the lock, and thn immediately snitches to Nubaldin or someone else in the HoH 👍 because part of sneaking around isn't getting caught, child. Do better.
[Tooltip popup that says ENVER FLYMM WILL REMEMBER THAT in bold ominous letters. Like a telltale game. But scary.]
4. Do they fear each other?
Yes. No. IT'S COMPLICATED. They both know the other is capable of utter insanity. Vykrum has seen a young Flymm beat a starving dog to death to prove a point, seen him lie with nary a tell on his face, has watched him steal and kill and maim and. Do some other stuff I'd rather not get into here. And he found it all kind of funny. For lack of a better word.
And when Gort is old enough to fight back. Jesus. Jesus Christ. I don't understand why Vykrum doesn't get scared of this guy. This thing. Human shaped machine. Dearth of joy and so on. What if I did every fucked up thing to you that you've ever done to me and I do it better and I do it worse.
The black hole is swallowing everything up. The ocean is washing away everything you hold dear. But do you blame nature for being destructive? Is it healthy to live in constant fear of a natural disaster? No. Of course not. It's just something that happens to you. A mushy box of infant gore, wrapped in a ribbon. Your legs covered in blood when you wake up in the middle of the night aching. Is it your blood? Is it his? Does it matter? This is nature. Here comes the rain again. You know the stormclouds well.
Gortash was forced to suffer through Vykrum's cruel and unusual tutelage, which included but was not limited to: getting his knuckles beaten with a smoking pipe while playing the piano, eating raw human flesh stripped from his own arms (after trying his luck with manipulating Vykrum into giving him food via crying), getting a tooth pulled out for every drow word he can't instantly read… but unlike some of the other freaks in the HoH, Vykrum wasn't attacking Gortash because he thought he was an easy target, or because he particularly relished in his agony. He was doing it because he thought Flymm could handle it and because he thought it would make him stronger.
Um. Abuses you bc I care <3 terrorizes you bc I want you to succeed and become strong and escape one day <3 and if you don't well. Idc. You're weak then. A waste of time, but at least entertaining.
^^^ This shit probably pisses off Gortash immeasurably. And he probably has what a normal person would describe as nightmares about it but instead he just gets angry and hunts Vykrum down with a magic flintlock pistol and shoots at Vykrum as they scurry around the estate lawn.
All this to say. I don't think they fear each other. Per say. They might be wary of what the other is capable of and watch each other like you would watch a rabid animal but. Overall they have something much more sinister going on ect ect.
10. How would you describe their dynamic together? Is one more powerful than the other, or are they on equal footing? (Who is the hydrogen bomb and who is the coughing baby?)
I've joked around about them being like. A toxic boy mom and a kind of hateful little Freudian cuss that wants to bang his mom as much as he wants to strangle her to death. But that's like. An oversimplification and it's kind of condescending to both their characters.
Vykrum starts out as the hydrogen bomb because. Flymm is a literal coughing baby. He's like. 9 when they first meet. Kind of an unfair matchup. Yes, Flymm is absolutely a dangerous child, very talented and smart, but. If I punched the world's smartest toddler I would win. Because I'm a fully grown man. And so is Vykrum. Even if his constitution stat is Insanely Low, It cannot possibly be lower thn that of a malnourished child living in hell.
But fret not Gort fans. The machine always comes out on top. (NO TOP JOKES. 💥💥💥) Vykrum is physically frail, and an adult Gortash is absolutely anything but that. Lol. Yes, Vykrum is still a very talented necromancer and cleric, but by the time they unhappily reunite, they're far more evenly matched - although the needle is slightly tipped in Gortash's direction, thanks to his connections. Vykrum might be clever, but people don't fucking like them, and people LOVE Gortash. Even me. Sorry Vykrum.
It's kind of hard to lash out against someone physically and socially more powerful thn you when the closest graveyard is miles away and you would shatter every bone in your hand if you tried to slap 'em around now.

being anxious about doing group content in MMOs -- especially pugged content as opposed to running with guildies or friends -- is the most face-palm-worthy thing because when I finally start doing it I realise very fucking quickly that the majority of other players really just be out here doin whatever
when you're anxious about something you tend to over-prepare, after all, to try to gain the best possible outcome. and meanwhile these other players who just be jumpin into shit without a care in the world because it's never occurred to them to worry about anything oftentimes are just... not as prepared. you could even say... not as good :V
which is funny because I've always thought of myself as a below-average gamer skill-wise but that's because I was comparing myself to the wrong people. yeah, in comparison to Very Good players I do not measure up, but in comparison to people who don't even bother reading their tooltips or learning party dynamics, or who are allergic to doing out-of-game research, or who have never dodged an AOE in their life and will yell at you for helpfully suggesting they do so... lmao

KE's 27/3/25 KR Balance Patch
We have a lot to discuss here, so let's not waste time and get into it.
Way of the Sword The gauge and all mentioning of it in the tooltip will be removed. Vitality/Destruction Aura will always be active. Press the V key to switch between mode.
This is probably the biggest change that affects all Elsword and Elesis's paths. It means there will no longer be gauge management. Once Gexa comes in, you can immediately spam your DPS skill without worrying about the gauge running out. This makes them more suitable for the Gexa era gameplay like other characters. Initially, I proposed that the gauge be revamped to be affected by Special Resource-related buff, but this is a lot better.
Wind Slicer Special Active cooldown reduction condition is changed from activating Wind Slicer to being in the awakening state. The cooldown reduced is 25% (PVE)/12.5% (PVP).
If the change in the WotS is not enough, they also change his cooldown management. Before the balance, he needs to command every 5 seconds to reduce the cooldown of Special Active skills. Now that it's gone, you only need to focus on using skills. On one hand, this makes his gameplay simpler. On the other hand, this is a direct nerf to his cooldown management. He could reduce 7/3 seconds every 5 seconds, which is equivalent to 40% cooldown reduction. Now it's reduced to 25%/12.5%. I could see his CD problems from a mile away, but I will need to playtest his new rotation before judging on this change.
Counter Patience The activation condition is changed from receiving debuff/abnormal status to using a skill with the corresponding Way of the Sword aura. The new Physical Attack increase value is 2% per stack (max 10 stacks) with a duration of 20 seconds (reduced by 5 stacks when the duration ends.)
This is the biggest change in his team formation. He no longer needs CA or OM in his team, and thus being the greatest QoL he receives from this patch. Although the maximum value decreases from 33% to 20%, it's an acceptable trade-off, consider the flexibility he gains, and because there's also another damage buff down the line. Initially, I have already expected the value from this passive being nerfed considering how strong it is, but this is even better.
Grand Cross The casting speed before hitting the ground increases by approximately 40%. [Overwhelm] debuff is now applied on hit without needing to be fully charged.
Also one of the biggest change he gets. Grand Cross takes about 2 seconds to fully charge, and half of that is spent on the jumping animation alone. Reducing that by 40% brings the total time to fully charged to 1.6 seconds, which don't seem like a lot, but considering that recent bosses require nimble and precise movement, this improves his flexibility. The [Overwhlem] debuff being applied immediately on hit also means that in a pinch where you need to reapply the debuff before doing something else, you can just tap the skill and be done with it. However, I'd still suggesting the fully charged version because it's still one of his main source of damage, and only use the tap version when it's almost time to Gexa.
Battle Ready The passive is renewed. When starting dungeon/battle, gain [Battle Ready] buff: - Recover 3%(PVE)/1% (PVP) HP/MP per second - Increase all speed by 3% (PVE)/1.5% (PVP) - Duration: 30 seconds When [Battle Ready] buff ends, gain [Fighting Will Towards Victory] buff: - Reduce MP consumption for Special Active skills by 10% (PVE)/5% (PVP) - Increase all speed by 10% (PVE)/5% (PVP) - Increase damage dealt to boss/mid-boss by 20%
Also one of the greatest change to his passive, which was hard to utilize before. You only need to stay alive more than 30 seconds to permanently receive the benefit of the second buff. This is effectively a compensation for the damage loss with the change of Counter Patience. However, with both changes in consideration, it's about a 2%-4% damage loss overall because Counter Patience is multiplicative while boss damage increase is additive.
That's all the changes related to KE. Now to theorycrafting.
Since the WotS is changed so that you can permanently maintain any aura, "filler skills" like Mortal Blow, Kick, or Power Smash are no longer necessary. This allows for more DPS skill to be registered. However, considering his current skill bar, there's not a lot of rooms to wiggle. Here are his core skills:
[Mod] Double Slash (Tran slot)
Grand Cross (Trans slot)
Iron Body
[Mod] Armor Break
[Mod] Sandstorm
Triple Geyser
[Mod] Unlimited Blade: Growing Fortitude
[Mod] Armageddon Blade
You can see that they already take 8 slots, which leave us only 2. Since we no longer have to bring cheap Vitality skills, we can consider other DPS skills:
[Mod] Flame Geyser: Knight's Will - The 2nd best DPS skill after [Mod] Sandstorm. Easy to use and great on grouped enemies.
Vertical Slash - Weaker than [Mod] FG but has greater range. You might need to swap it with [Mod] FG depending on the situation.
Impact Smash - I only see it being used in normal dungeon.
Spiral Blast - Nope. There are better skills.
Imperial Crusher - Can be used for clearing but Vertical Slash and Sandstorm are way better.
[Mod] Windmill - Great for grouping enemies. Could also be used in tandem with Fortitude to maintain yourself mid-air for certain situations. However, it has the weakest damage out of all Strength skills.
From these, I think [Mod] FG and Vertical Slash are best options mainly because of their damage. But let's look at how his CD works after the change. Since he can no longer reduce flat cooldown but get a 25% CDR at the start, we need to calculate the initial cooldown from the top. Let's take [Mod] Double Slash as an example:
Before: 21 x [1 + 0.20 (Heavy) - 0.35 (CDR stat)] = 21 x 0.85 = 17.85 seconds. If you activate Wind Slicer immediately, you get 10.85 seconds. After 5 seconds, the cooldown is 5.85 seconds, you activate Wind Slicer again, and you'll able to use it immediately. This effectively makes its cooldown only 5 seconds. However, it cannot be done reliably due to how random Wind Slicer is, I'd say the average cooldown is somewhere around 9 seconds.
After: 21 x [1 + 0.20 (Heavy) - 0.35 (CDR stat) - 0.25 (new Wind Slicer)] = 21 x 0.6 = 12.6 seconds. Although it has a higher cooldown than before, it's completely consistent. However, I have concerns about his rotation resulting in a grey skill bar, even with maximum CDR stat. Now that his skills' animation is faster than before, downtime is inevitable. To match his old CD management, he'll need about 1.4x CDA.
From the calculation, it seems that rotation is going to be more difficult without some CDA, so getting CDA buffer like CC, AV, DM, or DA (after balance) is more preferred.
Before this patch, KE can utilize the Reset effect from Rexa as it's counted as a debuff for Counter Patience, and as such using Antenna Earrings in tandem is preferred. Now that the debuff is no longer required and his rotation becoming stricter and without filler skills to build the Logic stack back up, detonating the stacks seem more unlikely. However, if you insist on using it, there is a perfect skill for that: Counterattack. It has 0 CD and since the gauge is no more, you don't have to worry about its aura alignment. It will also quickly build up the revamped Counter Patience. If you want, replace Vertical Slash with it.
Also, if a dungeon requires a Tenacity skill, you can replace Counterattack/Vertical Slash or [Mod] FG with it instead.

For my game, I aim to develop a rich and complex research tree that not only incorporates innovative elements but also improves upon existing models seen in other games. To initiate this process, I began by studying games renowned for their intricate research trees, analysing their unique features and the aspects that made them stand out.
Stellaris
Unlike many other 4X games, Stellaris uses a semi-random tech tree where the availability of technologies can vary each game, influenced by the empire's science leaders and their specialties.
This randomness adds unpredictability and variety to each playthrough, requiring players to adapt their strategies based on the technologies available at any given time.
Endless Space 2
Both Endless Space and Endless Space 2 feature multi-layered tech trees divided into four main categories (Science and Exploration, Industry and Economy, Military, and Empire and Population), each with numerous technologies.
These games include the concept of unlocking specific technologies that allow players to customize their civilization further based on their game strategy.

Je vytvořený chemickým procesem s účelem dát tomuto kamenu skutečnou barvu, vysoký jas a tvrdost. Při kvalitním zpracovaní zirkonu laik nikdy nepozná rozdíl mezi diamantem a zirkonem.Hlavní rozdíl mezi těmito kameny je v jejich tvrdosti a od tvrdosti kamenu se odráží jeho kvalita a životnost. Čím tvrdší, tím pomaleji se opotřebují jeho hrany a déle si tak udrží svůj počáteční lesk. U krystalů vyrobených ze skla je tvrdost max. 6 na Mohsově stupnici tvrdosti (1 -10). Zirkon má na této stupnici 8 až 9 a od skutečného diamantu ho dělí neskutečně málo. Šperky zdobené krystaly jsou sice levnější, ale také mají kratší životnost. Oproti tomu šperky osazené zirkony jsou dražší, avšak jejich životnost je mnohonásobně vyšší. Kubický zirkon je nejlepší alternativou diamantu. Obsahují vaše stříbrné šperky nikl a olovo? Ne.
