LAVERNE COX at the 95th Annual Academy Awards and the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on March 12th 2023 wearing custom VERA WANG and GUCCI

Laverne attended the Academy Awards and the after party. For the Oscars, she wore a custom Vera Wang gown. I wasn’t particularly impressed with this look. I liked the gloves, but otherwise the look didn’t feel very cohesive. She wore Gucci to the after party. While it’s a nice dress, it’s not super memorable. It’s a black dress that looks nice, but there’s nothing super special about it.
