❤❤❤ for Nona. She loves that he has a dog. Just 100/10 trust because of dog. I'd say she's not that naive, but she really is.

❤❤ for Mercy. She's really willing to get Reed a chance here. Sparrow obviously trusts him, and that little Hellcat doesn't trust easily. Point in Reed's favor. That'll go up the longer she knows him.

❤❤ for Frankie. Same reasoning.

❤❤❤ for Naomi. Goes without saying that Naomi knows Reed from the BOS. Reed's alright. Not a Lancer, but nobody is perfect. Helped out Sparrow - which puts them closer to perfect. Gives Sean a hard time - makes Reed 100% awesome.

And Finally: ☰ for Vic Hunt - owner of Hunt House, the local B&B and synth safehouse. Organizer always side-eye's the former BOS types until she really knows them. Just in case. Her charges are her focus and everybody else a source of suspicion. Even Sparrow's regard isn't going to be enough to win her over.

I have this sudden reoccurring fantasy of having a brain eating emobia or however you spell it use me as it's host. I also have this reoccurring fantasy of causing wars using authority as an emperor. I feel the desire to dive into the ocean and never come up, be waterboarded or just cover and surround myself in dark liquid such as ink, blood, deep waters, or gasoline] i frequently think about consuming and hunt other humans. I sometimes think of amputating myself or eating my limbs. The thought of hunting and stalking human prey is somewhat arousing in the way it would bring me pleasure hunting and eating my prey. I often thinm about going to the hospital and having a part of me discovered or changed. Like it gets revealed i have a parasite in me or they add another limb onto my body. I think about being a massive cult leader, or one of the leaders. Ripping off someones face and maybe partially consuming would be considered as self defense in situations where you are threatened with a weapon, i hope. Maybe not the consumed part. Being enveloped in darkness sounds nice in a way, walking empty streets attacking people on sight with nobody to stop you, the wild, left to act wild, left to act in the nature we were supposed to. I often think about being in a place of control and hurting people, including myself.

Grey's Anatomy 20x07

How much of a filler was this week's Greys, huh? Not saying it didn't had its moments (though honestly not a lot), but I don't think it didn't add anything real to the main stories. I also got the idea we needed to feel for those not really deserving it. Lucas who got himself in this situation with Mika and (partly) with Simone. Owen who once again needs a teaching moment to learn the very obvious (yet when they both agree they need to talk, they still choose sex instead - guess Teddy is not the smartest either). The cheating woman screaming at her huisband - who might be a dull but at least didn't cheat...

In the meantime they keep seeming to forget Amelia has a kid (besides Lucas), as they keep picturing her having this childless life (while Link is playing house 24/7), and Mika has a relationship (that finally seemed worth of a story, but wait, let's not tell it after all).

As said, not a horrible watch, but not bringing much either.

Station 19 7x07

S19 did remember their original stories - even though it took them like six year. I'm of course talking about Mason. We already learned he hasn't changed for the good, but now we didn't just get to know him better, we also got to see Maya's reaction to it. Her realization that she doesn't just need to pull him away from his life, but actually needs to keep him (far!) away from hers out of protection was well written, and Danielle did an excellent job showing all those different emotions.

They also continued the lawcase arc, in which I esp enjoyed the final scene in which Carina stepped away from it all without turning her back at the patient. A strong, well made statement.

I didn't really feel this ep's call, though I appreciate every attempt of showing the world how horrible and in this case even harmful gender reveal parties are (I seriously hate them even more than baby showers), I don't need to see any Ben and Bailey sex (seriously, it's like watching your parents) and I want to slap Vic for sleeping with Theo again - even though we all knew it was gonna happen.

Ps. We already knew they have a hidious kitchen, but now they have old people furniture, too? Jeez, who decorated this place?! This is so not them!! Can we just have them move back please? I even take that old duvet cover for granted!

Was wrapping up chapter 21 last night (which. Pain because I rly wanted to finish it before today and because of it I went to bed at 4:30 fml) and something I think is interesting is like. Blackstone is talking to Vic about how he feels like he can’t trust Jerome or the posse because they all knew something was wrong with Beau and just kept letting Beau go along with them anyways, not to mention how there’s always been rumblings about shadiness in that group, and although I think the narrative (from Vic’s perspective) suggests that Blackstone is wrong . To be honest I think he has a point KDND

He just seems irrational because he’s really angry but Blackstone is fuckin right about most of the things he says lol

Since I missed this game bc at the time I didn’t have a switch (and switch lites weren’t out yet) I could play Let’s go Pikachu and Eevee. I chose Eevee and played through it and once I got to the end I sat and shiny hunted. I must say this is the least complicated game to shiny hunt in my experience. I caught a full team worth and I decided I start my next playthrough with an exclusive shiny team. Which sucks that I can’t keep eevee this time around but I simply couldn’t pass up so here’s my new team in order of who I hunted.

I must say that clefairy was the hardest shiny to get. I want it to be known I had to pass up two shiny geodudes, shiny zubat, and two chancey bc I had to keep my catch combo and the moment you catch anything other than the Pokémon you’re hunting it ends the combo and you have to start over and I didn’t want any of those enough to justify messing my combo. Anyway I started a new game and sent them over from home and I shit you not at full odds look at what I got when I set foot in viridian forest

I don’t like bug Pokémon and least of all the weedle line but a random shiny I get by chance without any work is a win for me

It's funny for me that fanon Sam is, following his time at Stanford, thee greatest of ally and defensor of human rights, while canonically college turns him into a judgemental snob - frowning upon winning money as a hunter, saving the prisoners, etc, etc (snobbish s1 Sammy my beloved !!!) (PS: also his alternative self in Lebanon XD)

no literallly. sam wanted to fit in so hard at stanford he drank some of the snobby rich kid kool-aid. and like, dissecting that is infinitely more interesting to me than perfect liberal and allyTM fanon sam. like i wanna know what sam's problem is sjdkfdfk. s1 does a great job of creating this dichotomy, esp in the very early eps, where dean represents the hunting world, the fringes of society, the outcasts and Other, and sam is coming out of this perfect idealized world that was college, where he absorbed some of those snobby ideals, as a way to reject his family / lifestyle (tho mostly as a way to reject JOHN and john's ideas of what sam's life should be). But then we see sam throughout those early episodes making choices that actively lead him further down the road of hunting, choices that have him rejecting "normal society" and choosing this journey, this quest, taking up the mantle and following john's path.

(there are lot of examples and maybe i'll make a post abt them all one day but one that always stands out to me is in 1x06 Skin, where the conflict is about the isolation of hunting vs the desire for community and connection to the outside world. it seems like dean is pro-cut ties with the world, but why? well, we later learn in 1x13 he tried to let an outsider into his world and cassie rejected him for it. but sam, at the start of the ep, is trying to have the best of both worlds. he thinks he can keep his outsider friends while still hunting. then by the end of the ep, his friend now knows all about hunting and wants to stay in touch. and sam shuts her out and says she probs won't hear from him anytime soon. and it's just so bonkers to me !! but he's making that choice, he's choosing hunting and slowly rejecting and cutting ties to his idealized stanford life.)

and he wants it, is the thing. he's on a one track mind: find john, find the demon, kill it and avenge jess and mary.

this got long-winded but anyway, i think all that s1 snobbery is SO crucial to sam's journey, it's important we see it, it's important we see where he was coming from, how stanford had begun to change and shape him in different ways, how stanford was symbolic of this total opposite to hunting, it's the snobby rich who don't care about the people on the fringes, it's studying LAW while holding beliefs that all people in prison are not "innocent" and a ghost killing them off isn't the biggest deal. and then dean + the hunting lifestyle is meant to be the juxtaposition to that. he's living on the fringes of society, he's Other. That's why the shifter in Skin identifies with dean so much, aside from the queer metaphors. The shifter choosing fresh-off-of-ivy-league sam would not make for the same kind of parallel, as much as sam has his psychic kid stuff going on, that's only barely begun at this point. He doesn't yet think he's a freak for being psychic or the demon blood stuff, he doesn't even know abt any of that. But paralleling the shifter with dean highlighted the isolating, othering nature of hunting, in an episode where the "brother conflict" was isolation vs community. And through the shifter we learn that dean didn't Want to be a hunter either. He had dreams, wanted friends. And sam hears all of this, and still at the end of the episode chooses to reject his friend's offer to keep in touch. Taking another step away from the idealized stanford life and another step down the path of hunting + his revenge quest. And it's so goddamn interesting and delicious and fascinating to me !!!! fanon sam could never
