Why the hell does English not have more color categories???

Like, these are all the same color according to English

Why??? None of these are even CLOSE to one another, nevermind the same!!!

At no point should the top left one be in the same category as the bottom middle or bottom right. They aren’t even close

I could go on but I do unfortunately have actually important things to do so I’ll leave it here now, but seriously we really really need more basic color categories

Side note: Crawling says the same thing when you hit him with the crowbar, and when you shove him back when he tries to warn you about scarlet

My current theory is that it is either a word that means 'sorry/ apologize', or an onomatopoeia of pain like 'ouch'. I am leaning towards 'sorry' because of how apologetic he acts after scaring you and after shaking your arm to warn you. Especially since there would be no reason for him to say 'ouch' if you just shove him back a bit.

either way, i think that makes Crawl especially loveable. Apologizing after someone decks you with a crowbar is certified rug behavior.
