Ruggie Vs Trans!Yuu
Aka how would Ruggie react to a mtf!yuu and ftm!yuu (This keeps coming to me in dreams)
🐾 Ruggie Bucchi with a MTF!Yuu
At first, Ruggie doesn’t even blink when Yuu comes out as a trans woman. He’s from the Wild Savannah, a place with deeply ingrained social structures, sure—but he’s also incredibly adaptable, observant, and street-smart. His immediate reaction? A grin and a shrug.
“Eh? That so? Cool, good for ya, Yuu.”
But internally?
Ruggie definitely has a knee-jerk hyena instinct moment.
Like, his brain short-circuits just a bit. Something ancient and primal in his hyena-coded instincts goes:
"Oh. Dominant female. Respect immediately." Even if logically he knows Yuu wasn’t born with the physical traits associated with Wild Savannah females, the second she claims that identity—his instincts click into place. His tail would tuck between his legs.
He doesn't fear her like she’ll hurt him—but it’s this weird mix of:
admiration,
caution,
and a little submissiveness.
He starts calling her "Boss" half-jokingly, but also half-seriously. Like:
“Heh, remind me not to get on your bad side, Boss Lady.”
He absolutely respects her transition and identity, never misgenders or deadnames. He’s too sharp to make that kind of mistake—and he hates when others do. He might even go out of his way to “correct” someone in a passive-aggressive Ruggie way:
“Ohhh, ya meant her. You know—Yuu. Use your words right, yeah?”
Ruggie also probably gets weirdly defensive if someone tries to undermine her femininity.
He’s not one to throw hands unless money’s involved, but he’ll get right up in someone’s face if they say anything disrespectful. Especially if it triggers that Savannah-born instinct that says, “You do not mess with a female.”
If they're close or dating? He spoils her so hard—but lowkey. Steals snacks she likes. Calls her “princess” in that teasing-but-means-it way. Lets her borrow his jacket. Always offers his arm when walking through crowds.
And behind closed doors, he tells her:
“Ya know, you don’t gotta prove nothin’. You are who you say you are. That’s more than enough.”
🐾 Ruggie Bucchi with a FTM!Yuu (trans)
At first, Ruggie’s reaction is super casual. You tell him you’re a guy, and he just nods with a lazy grin.
“Aight, cool. Thanks for tellin’ me, dude.”
But internally? Oh, boy. His Wild Savannah brain is reconfiguring itself like a whole operating system update just happened.
Because in his homeland? You were born with the body that usually meant "intimidating," "dominant," or "don’t mess with." So when you step forward and go, "Nah—I’m a guy," something ancient in his instincts gets reversed.
That little hyena instinct that usually flinches around dominant females? Now it’s like:
“OH—HE’S a guy. A guy who was born in a female-coded body and still carries that presence? That’s terrifying. I love him.”
There’s this weird subconscious respect/fear combo, and you better believe he starts treating you like someone who could kick his ass—even if you’re not threatening at all.
He might say stuff like:
“Jeez, you’re kinda scary, huh? Not like, bad-scary—just, y’know... cool-scary.”
But like, respectfully.
Once the dust settles in his brain, he genuinely supports you. Ruggie knows what it’s like to fight for space, for respect, and for survival. So when he realizes you’re walking your own path, being your true self no matter what? He respects the hell out of that.
He’ll defend you if anyone misgenders you:
“Uh—he said no pickles on the sandwich, yeah? Get it right.”
He becomes your little gremlin guard dog. Not in a loud way—just in the “he will use is UM and make them trip and say it was an accident” kind of way.
If you’re dating? Ohhh boy, he’s SO proud of you. You might find him subtly hyping you up all the time.
“Look at you, handsome. You’re gonna give me a complex if you keep lookin’ this good.”
He’s the type to toss you his hoodie and then blush because you look more masc than him wearing it.
Also: he absolutely brags about you when no one’s around.
“Yuu? Oh yeah, he’s a badass. You don’t wanna mess with him. He’ll take you down and correct your grammar while he’s at it.”

peter pan is another movie with tons of potential for an event. it would make a great Lost in the Book, fr. example, adeuce interrupting Trein's lesson to ask about a legend or tale, as a joke. Riddle is so John coded, lol. one day for doing stupid shit, Grimm opens a book he shouldn't have and WHAM. they're in Neverland. i imagine one half fell to Pan and the lost boys, while the other is in the Jolly Rogers. (kalim and jamil respectively, I don't fuck with anyone, lmao). one of the twins or Azul (or the whole mafia fish) on the reef with the mermaids. all som laughs until one messes with floyd gets bored and surprise, surprise! yes you guys are mermaids, we're sirens. malleus and lillia i don't think they're very comfortable with tinkerbell because fae vs pixie beef. rook and epel take on the personality of a lost child and if vil wasn't arguing with idia about how the clock rings in the crocodile's stomach, he'd have a heart attack.
everyone's been saying we need a peter pan event and a lost in the book one is EXACTLY how I'd want it... you're so smart anon (ㅅ´ ˘ `)
riddle and vil having heart attacks at the lost boys, the mermaids trying to drown floyd just for him to be like 🐟, jamil with the pirates,,, MALLEUS AND LILIA HAVING BEEF WITH NEVERLAND PIXIES?!!?
at the end of it I think epel would want to stay with the lost boys (no rules, you can eat whatever you want, act however you please, gender affirming), and the only one who convinces him to come back to school is vil, who reminds him that epel won't be able to get any taller/stronger in a place where you can't grow
also... twisted captain hook? anyone?

❀ || maeve && her autism
❝ the societal expectations about how love should be displayed vs maeve’s undeniable but so very different ways of expressing it and all the friction that must have caused earlier in her life ❞
maeve was in foster care for the first chunk of her life - given up by birth mother before she was even one, not taken in by the donovans until many years later. it’s been a long time since I wrote about it but on this blog maeve is and always has been autistic: and whilst she’s incredible at masking as an adult, that’s a learnt skill, but there her life has been massively impacted time and time again by adults refusing to accept her differences.
little maeve being returned by foster family after foster family because they found her selective mutism ‘unnerving’, or hated how she never cried when she was a baby / toddler or just… she wasn’t the child they wanted her to be. a tiny thing with too smart eyes, always watching, seeing more than someone her age should. she’s been told from the time she was only one that her emotions and ways of showing them are wrong. that she’s faulty.
it’s partly trauma - she learnt as a literal baby that crying would never make anyone care -, and partly the fact she’s not neurotypical. but it’s just so deeply coded in adult maeve that how she expresses herself naturally is wrong. so often she masks as hard as she can 24/7 - and in verses with bobby he probably uses it against her a lot.
maeve loves people so truly, so deeply, but if you’re the kind of person who doesn’t pay attention or wants loud love it’d probably be easy to miss it or not be satisfied. she shows it a thousand ways ( little touches, letting people in, letting her mask down and giving them what she thinks is a reason not to care for her ) and honestly she doesn’t ask for much back.
she loves people for free. she will be there for you no matter what, she will forgive you for so much even if her trust is something you might struggle to fully fix.
honestly, the fact most of her ship partners end up learning sign language so they can still get her to ‘talk’ to them when something shuts her down says so much about how understanding maeve is all about being willing to learn her language. if she’s hurting, she’ll never voice it, but she might be able to put it into sign language. her heart isn’t on her sleeve, it’s in her hands.
but also: don’t get me wrong, in private she shows so much affection. the more safe she is with a person, the more ways she shows her love in her silent ways. whilst she naturally gives people space, she still rests with a hand or arm on them bc she likes the reminder they’re there. if they’re the types to tug her closer, she often lies and listens to their heart.
in general - maeve keeps a good deal of space between herself and the world. it’s what she was taught to do. so in any circumstances, if you’re a person she can casually be close to or might touch without thinking... you’re in the rare position where you could crush her little heart.

ppl using the gumby thing or steve literally just confusing the names of things sometimes (esp the nazi vs german thing when we literally know his granddad fought in ww2 and told him stories and he probably referred to the nazis as germans) as proof that he can't read or is just incredibly dumb is so fucking irritating to me. esp when it's pulled from s3 when steve literally figured out on his own that the russian code was coming from hawkins within the same span of episodes. obviously s3 is where they really started pushing the "steve is dumb" jokes but s3 is also where they show us how capable steve is (the code, getting them out of the elevator, winning that fight, saving like half the cast by crashing the car w/o injuring himself or robin). like sorry but eddie canonically couldn't graduate high school and was not capable when it came to upside down problems (he was a princess in a tower most of the season and when he had to do more he died immediately) and no amount of lotr references changes those facts. this fandom is actively trying to make eddie my enemy at this point.
people act like forgetting a children’s cartoon name, and getting it one letter off, means steve’s illiterate? which is just ludicrous. and the german thing really annoys me, especially because the characters call the soviet’s ‘russians’ all the time (thanks to @findafight for reminding me of that lmao), and yet no one points that out. but steve calls nazi’s ‘germans’, likely, like you said, due to his grandfather’s war stories, and suddenly he’s the dumbest person on earth.
i think the only way you can honestly think steve is dumb is if you only listen to the few dumb jokes present in every season, but don’t actually watch the show. because we are shown time and again that steve is intelligent. he pays attention to the things no one else does, he’s emotionally aware, he’s talented enough at sports that he was a captain in two during high school and trained as a lifeguard for three summers, and he trusts his gut in a way no other character does, and has, as a result, saved nearly everyone’s lives multiple times.
eddie’s strengths aren’t in school, or dealing with monsters from an alternate dimension. fair enough! he’s clearly smart in other ways! but just the fact that he’s read books doesn’t mean he’s academic. and for some reason merely pointing this out sends people screaming out that steve is a dumb, fucking idiot who’s lucky he’s pretty.
people are so desperate for eddie to be better than steve that they willingly ignore canon, just to make sure their fave isn’t the ‘dumb one’ in the relationship. like fuck. at this point just leave steve alone.
i do like eddie, but jesus, the version of him praised in this fandom isn’t anywhere near canon, and is, to be honest, really fucking annoying.

I recently had an epiphany with these two. Because Raum is much closer to Hibiko's father's age, like a lot of the men she doesn't care for at events, she inherently sees him as someone on a different level. Not necessarily as someone of a higher authority because she knows socially that isn't true. But she does absolutely feel this power imbalance with others like Raum, knowing she can be seen as lesser than them, since they're so much closer to her parents in age, experience, knowledge, whatever.
All that to say Raum has shown to not treat her as expected. He instead treats her as a sidestep to the king, as someone equal to her parents. It's given Hibiko this sense of confidence when with him that she doesn't need to constantly ensure her position is respected. She's significantly more at ease and honest with him because of that, for good and bad. Raum very easily cracked the code of understanding how to not be treated as a potential schemer and gossip, but as a natural acquaintance - DARE I say friend.
But of course, there is a power imbalance there, as much as she pretends there couldn't be. Raum just has to remain smart enough to save that reminder for special case scenarios, when her overconfidence might need to be checked. Otherwise, Hibiko deserves to be treated like the doormat she is. And Raum is the only one with the gall to not only say, "You're a doormat," but then fix her crown to say, "good, doormat-princess."
@royaletiquette

Oho. Yes I do believe you've hit the nail on the head here.
I'd say Raum's aim (at least in the short term) when interacting with Hibiko is to make her comfortable with his presence. He respects how the social mechanism of her position works. He's not going to challenge that in any way and he doesn't see a reason to. It's a perfectly good tool and he can make it work for him in the way you've mentioned.
Hibiko is a woman with authority under her name that rarely gets recognised due to her age. She's probably underestimated, talked down to, dismissed (or the more polite versions of those) quite often. He knows that feeling, or something close to it. He knows she probably needs the feeling of being responsible for something, able to make an impact, basically -- considered important. And he'll always leave that door open for her.
In short: I'd say he's aiming to position himself as a confidant. He will encourage her confidence. He wants her to feel like he's in her corner. She certainly won't think of herself as a doormat -- but he does also want to challenge her so that she wobbles. He'll support her, but in a way that reminds her the nature of their imbalance, one way or the other. ( "i cant do that, you're the princess" vs "you can't do that, you're the princess" )
And yet -- the pesky thing about being such a scheming bastard, is spending time with the subject of your scheme and actually growing to enjoy their company. And I think this establishes itself rather quickly between them. Like you said, they naturally sort of slide through the barrier of awkwandess because of the understandings they have. For Raum, there is little downside to spending time with Hibiko. He enjoys the cat and mouse game. She's clever and witty, they have many shared interests, she's literally a beautiful princess! Honestly, he needs to be very careful, or he could grow more fond of her than he planned.
#royaletiquette#ask#( arcana imperii ; raum & hibiko )#v: undercover#i have been sitting on this ask like hehehe for days lmao#this is 100% nonfiltered word vomit so i hope it makes sense#but i rub my little hands together like a fly#something about their dynamic is so juicy to me. much potential both good and bad

ECW Magazine: April 2000
the Whistle Blower
by Bill Alfonso
Leggo Your Ego
There is so much turmoil in Extreme Championship Wrestling right now. My two men, Sabu and Rob Van Dam, are at each other’s throats and I can’t do anything to stop them. I have to let them battle it out. Despite everything that is happening, I’m in a fantastic mood because I just saw a man who brings back a lot of great memories: “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes.
I remember walking into the dressing room in the Fort Homer Hesterly Armory in Tampa, Fla., for my first full-time job in early 1980. I had just been hired because the guy before me had been fired. The night before, he had three main eventers in his car and got a flat tire and they all missed the show. He was fired on the spot. So there is a lesson for you: If you have a main event guys in your car, make sure you have a spare.
Anyway, I walked into the dressing room and there was Rhodes. I was a little nervous and he said, “Are you the new referee?” and I said, “Yes I am,” and we immediately clicked and became friends. He gave me a full time job a few years ago in World Championship Wrestling. Hiro Matsuda and Rhodes hired me for New Japan to referee the Ric Flair vs. Tatsumi Fujinami match. I worked with Rhodes in the World Wrestling Federation, too. It was always great money everywhere I went with him. We sold out Orlando, Fla., 48 weeks in a row for his feud with Kevin Sullivan and his army. Dusty is one of the great minds in this business.
In this business you always have to show respect to the veterans, especially someone like Rhodes. Steve Corino went against this code by confronting Rhodes in Atlanta on Dec. 2, 1999. It reminded me of another young, smart-ass who came up to me after a match in Florida more than 10 years ago who we all know now as Raven.
Meeting Raven
I was coming back from the ring with Barry Windham and right before I got through the dressing room door, Raven reached over the rail and almost grabbed me. He said, “I can do whatever the wrestlers do. I can do it and I can do it better.” He came off as this spoiled, rich, cocky kid. I turned the tides on him and said, “OK kid, why don’t you come backstage with me?” I was going to make sure the cockiness was beat right out of him, whether it was by me or someone else in the locker room. He was intelligent enough not to come with me because he knew what was going to happen.
Next time I saw him, he’s Johnny Polo in the WWF. In fact, we went together to buy the boots and chaps he needed for the Polo outfit. Raven is a really odd guy. One minute he can be brash and cocky, and the next he is morbid and depressed. But since that night in Florida, he has paid his dues and I consider him one of the top 50 wrestlers of all time, although Raven probably hates that because he thinks he’s one of the top 10.
I think Van Dam is the most talented guy in the business and Sabu has the biggest heart and the most courage. I’ve never seen anybody put his body on the line every night like Sabu. I’ve risen to the top of my game with these two guys and they have risen to the top with me. Even though part of me wants to see the end result of a match between them, I’m scared at what they might do to each other. Either way I’m still a winner.

Hey! Have you ever listened to "The Hearse" by Matt Maeson? I could ramble for hours about it's ORV-like qualities but I can't decide whether it's more Yoo Joonghyuk or Kim Dokja.
Right now I'm leaning towards Kim Dokja because "I am the man we both couldn't stand/ I can't wash off the dirt from my hands/ What was it like to feel in love?" which seems to match his well buried self-hatred pretty well and the chorus "I will never go backwards/ I will never be free/ I will never run faster/ will you sink down to me?"
BUT the alternate chorus "I will never go backwards/ I will never be seen/ In the wake of disaster/ will you sink down to me?" feels more Yoo Joonghyuk coded because of his regressions (especially since he's never truly "going backwards" when he regresses, he continues on while everything seemingly rewinds). The lyrics could either be "I will never be seen in the wake of disaster" or "In the wake of disaster will you sink down to me?" And I think that dual-meaning perfectly encapsulates YJH regressing vs KDJ calming him down from regression depression.
Okay maybe I'm thinking this is a Yoo Joonghyuk song now.
Sorry for filling your inbox with my rambling about song lyrics! All I meant to send was:
hehe look this song reminds me of orv and it's called hearse
Anyways have a lovely day! Your art is amazing as always bye
OHH i never heard it!! and AHHH what a nice listen huh
I MEAN. do we need to differentiate the two. both are good!!
also please bear with me, i thrive on outsourcing the smart interpretation job to people looking at my art usually my craft is easy just slap pixels on the canvas hehe
BUT if you allow me to be a devil's advocate for a bit you can completely make it out to be Kim Dokja, who doesn't seem too eager to go backwards or be seen. constantly trying to escape his own story and being it's character in the eyes of relatives/coworkers and such. he is also not. at the height of his no matter how capable he is during the scenarios, running himself into one bear trap after another. his house is also built on sand, the faulty foundation that is his mother's way of loving by taking the blame and bearing the weight alone. he is also much more of a driver of a hearse than yjh is, a reader keeping the story's engine going and taking the coffin to it's destination that is the story's perfect ending hahehe come on sink down to him, his house' foundation is not just sand, it's quicksand and he is half-buried already
ANYWAY the beauty of it's duality! one coin, two sides etc etc they are so intertvined that you can't exclude one to interprete the other all the smart words that i'm guessing apply
#THANK YOU FOR THE SONG I'M KEEPING IT#you too have a nice day! <3#and the obligatory this is how i am currently thinking im only half way through

in ur opinion who are the hottest characters in cp and who are the least ;)
Haha what an excellent question.
And because clearly I can't just be like here's the list of hotties, enjoy, you did get me thinking.
I think fiction- and the way Pacat writes in particular- offers us this really interesting space in terms of 'attraction', as I mean, it's all just this lovely, indulgent hypothetical anyway. And what makes a character 'attractive' kind of just exists in the imagination? Like we are free to imagine Damen and Laurent for instance, in particular ways physically beyond the broad strokes of big, olive-skinned and dark haired vs blue-eyed blond, as there is no exact visual for us. The other part to is the idea of 'proximity'- you know, how in real life we often fall for the people around us? Who we can get to know or who we 'see' over and over? So as we read and inhabit a fictional world, we are approximating these things - we're inside character's heads, around them, getting to know them etc.,. And I think all of that plays a part in this mimicry of real life attraction?
It's such an interesting weird blurring between knowing a character is made up and a small part of your brain kind of making judgements as if they're real.
[But merrivia this was for fun...I know and I'm sorry 😂]
I also want to say that having a particular physical 'type' is a really fascinating concept for me, because I think it's rooted in all sorts of psychological issues we have swirling around in our subconscious? I don't think perhaps we can always control it, but I do think it's an important part of life to examine those biases we have, too. I had a type when I was younger, but I outgrew those ideas over time and don't really have any specific physical preferences, so all of this really is based on personality mostly, for me!
I've also based this list on how we meet characters in the books, as opposed to 'older characters when they were younger' for example.
So:
*tied position: Damen, to me, is the hottest. I think it's his intelligence and honesty and goodness and willingness to love. And yeah...okay fine, his fighting prowess and his physical strength. In real life, I don't care for that, in fact that would intimidate the hell out of me, but reading him literally outclass everyone else in the novels is beyond attractive. I also love love love, how smart and witty he is, and how he can match Laurent in that way. Also: the dimple /screams into the void/. In many ways Damen has qualities I admire, and I wish I had more of. How disciplined he is, his easy natural charm with others, how comfortable he is with his own body, how open and light he can be when it comes to sex while still being respectful, how he isn't actually vain over his looks and how he's very romantic at heart...that's all very attractive to me. He has his flaws, I know, but I just think he's really hot. And tied at that spot is...Auguste. I actually think, in real life, Auguste would be exactly the kind of guy I would have had a major crush on. Handsome and good-hearted and honourable and loves his family? I can see me watching Auguste with a younger Laurent, being all playful and big-brothery and I would just *die* and have to stop myself proposing to him immediately. He also, I think, loved animals, a quality I also really like in a man. I do feel we know so little about him, it's tricky...but he's tied at the no 1 spot for me.
Laurent is obviously gorgeous, but in a remote way to me? I absolutely love him, but I'm not attracted to him. He's ridiculously beautiful and mind-bogglingly intelligent and sharp and very funny and has his own moral code, but in a way, some of his sharpness reminds me of the worst of myself? And the lethal side of his personality is...phew, it's a lot. His love of animals and of children is so lovely though, and the sweetness that comes out in him around Damen makes me melt. I also am, as a woman, respectful of canonically gay characters's preferences, and I don't know if thats odd or not, but some people are in a separate category in my mind (my friend's partners, gay men etc.,) where I can like them, and even adore them platonically, but I cannot see them as sexually attractive in any way. That includes characters it seems! I also think, he is just so objectified in the novels...even if I did fancy him, I might want to protect him from that constant onslaught, not join in? Regardless of all that, of course Laurent is super hot, so he's on the list.
The Good Men of the book- Nikandros and Berenger. I think that ultimately, the older I get, the more I am drawn to inner qualities of principle and goodness. Both these men are loyal and loving. Both deserve love and amazing sex.
The Hot Women of the book- Jokaste and Kashel are polar opposites and both obviously gorgeous. Jokaste scares the hell out of me, but I respect the fact that people would fall at her feet. Kashel is like that nice, pretty girl next door type at school who does a lot of sports and who lots of people are really into.
Ancel is very much NOT my type, something about the long red hair and the personality...but is he a hottie? Yes, of course. You have to respect his hustle, and I really like how he falls for Berenger, showing how he does have a heart.
Jord...He's a good man too. I see him as on the shorter, stockier side, based on descriptions of the book, and, well, a bit plain, but he's a good reminder that being exceptionally good-looking and/or a nobleman isn't everything. He exudes a personableness and has some really good qualities. I really do wish he hadn't projected all of his 'I betrayed Laurent' guilt so strongly onto Damen at the end of PG, but... it did create a lot of angst and narrative tension (I mean which is partly Jord's function!).
Who isn't attractive...yikes, that's tough. I mean there are plenty of other characters in the book, so if I haven't mentioned them, they're just not on the list. I just feel like there isn't enough for me to get my teeth into with characters like Pallas or Lazar, as cute as they are? So it's not a judgement, I just need a little more description. As for some of the older characters...yeah nope. If that's your thing, that's fine! And the villains in the book can rot in hell as far as I'm concerned.
I guess find it difficult to see Erasmus as hot. On the list, he should be just below Laurent really. This is kind of how I see his looks being, but even prettier. Like ridiculously, sweetly pretty.

I didn't include him out of very nurturing feelings I think? He's just a little sweetheart, and I want to take him under my wing and make sure he's okay. I just want him and the beautiful Kallias together!
It's why I'm also so neutral on Torveld I think? He's a good man too, but just...yeah.
And poor, damaged Aimeric...he's clearly a pretty boy. But I just think he was far too troubled. Lots of therapy needed for Aimeric in a modern AU and no-contact with Guion and to go off and live with Loyse (who I hope didn't know until it was too late what happened to Aimeric or tried to fight her husband on it but couldn't win, because patriarchy, and didn't just turn a blind eye- if she did do that, then no-contact for her too) and date Jord :(
So that's my rundown!
That was fun, thanks for the ask!

enabaling ur unnormalacy; elaborate on self destruction vs destruction of the self?
YEEAAHHH ENABLE ME BEING TOTALLY NORMAL ABOUT ANNIHILATION
So quick preface: I'm not like... great at putting my thoughts about this kind of stuff into smart people words, so this might sound a little goofy but I still mean it all very earnestly and am expressing it to the best of my ability.
Also this is hella long, my apologies.
So in the movie there is this IMHO very straightforward theme of self-destruction. The movie opens with Lena talking about cells being programmed to die with old age (and how when that part of a cell goes haywire it becomes undying as cancer). Cassie says that she thinks Josie was trying to feel alive in her self-harming. And Ventress has the line, "Almost none of us commit suicide, and almost all of us self-destruct. In some way, in some part of our lives."
There's this common thread of self destruction as something very fundamentally human. We have these impulses to self destruct things in our life, our cells arguably have destruction coded into them, something about choosing to self destruct reminds us that we are human and alive and DOING this. It's not just something that happens to us, it is something we can do that reaffirms our being alive and having meaning.
All the characters have some element of self destruction in their lives, from Lena and her affair to Anya and her addiction to Josie and her history of self harm, and we also get to see different ways self destruction manifests while in Area X. Anya loses her shit and ties up her team, her break from reality (although idk if that's fair in Area X) is what leads her right into the bear. Josie chooses to surrender peacefully to her destructive impulses and become part of Area X. Ventress tries to face it and is broken down in something totally unrecognizable and remade. Lena fights it and introduces self destruction to Area X.
I think Area X isn't really destroying everything like the interrogation team describes, but changing it like Lena said. It creates new lifeforms that shouldn't be able to exist, it assimilates memories and places from the people who visit it, it just creates and creates and creates. And it's incredibly unstable. It's only once Lena puts the grenade in her doppelganger's hand that Area X/the Shimmer is given the ability to self destruct. I firmly believe that after everything we saw that alien and Area X do, it could have just NOT immolated itself. But it did anyway. And in doing so, it took this thing that was so unlike us and only created and made it something LIKE us. It gave it this human quality of self destruction. And the Shimmer subsequently collapsed.
MEANWHILE, IN THE BOOK...
The protagonists are stripped of parts of their identity VERY early on. They literally do not have names when they go into Area X and are only known by their professions. Hypnosis is used to guide them across the border and is later revealed to be used extensively to compel them to do other things as well. They are stripped of their identities and their free will. They are not afforded their sense of self while in Area X. (Interestingly, it is Area X itself that returns some of the agency to the biologist by innoculating her against hypnosis with the spores!)
The biologist notes several things throughout the novel that she speculates or are implied to be like... facets or elements of previous expedition members or features of the wilderness. The dolphin with an eye that's too human, the moaning creature in the reeds that she realizes was once another expedition member, even the Crawler flashes briefly to her as the lighthouse keeper. Even the accounts and journals of previous expeditions have literally lost their distinction from one another as the giant pile they lay in decomposes. The surveyor is released gently into the water after she dies to become part of Area X and hopefully know peace. Even the Crawler's skin is made of the same cells as human brain because it is not an individual thing, but a collection of so many other things. The people in the abandoned village made of plants that the biologist gets an uneasy feeling about. These individual people are consumed by Area X and distributed into something new as part of a larger whole, the lines between one person and another and the landscape all blurring.
Previous expeditions have people who come back wrong. They come back unlike how they were before. The people who come back aren't the same people who went in (literally, the doppelgangers happen to everyone) but they still have pieces of who they were. They just also have pieces of Area X and the people they were with. There's a lot of metaphors about being colonized by the desolation and Area X and the biologist often wonders if she's making her own choices or if the spores from the tower are influencing her.
When the biologist finds the psychologist dying, the psychologist notes, "You've changed" and the biologist later wonders if she meant like... changed sides. Like she wasn't allied with humans and who she was before anymore. She's part of Area X instead of a single person who is a world in and of themselves.
Towards the end of the book, the Crawler seemingly chooses NOT to kill the biologist, even though it earlier killed the anthropologist. She wonders if she didn't seem foreign to the Crawler anymore. If she was so enmeshed in Area X that it didn't consider her a threat. It's hard to say WHAT the reason was because the Crawler is beyond comprehension, but it's important to note that the biologist isn't the individual she was at the start and is also much more than herself at this point. Area X is functioning within her through "the brightness". She is part of Area X, Area X is part of her, and something similar happened to everyone who came before her.
Part of this unknowable cosmic horror of Area X is the dissolution of what makes you you, and being remade into something different. Area X keeps changing the things that come into contact with it and making new things out of them, so while the doppelgangers are definitely not the same physical bodies that went in, they still contain parts of them. But the individuals who went in do not exist anymore. Their destruction of self starts before they step foot over the border with the names and hypnosis. Anything to do with Area X breaks a person down into something else and shares that breaking down across everyone.
#ro talks#annihilation#annihilation spoilers#i know the book and movie have been out for a MINUTE#but lets be safe I just read it for the first time#im sure other ppl will be like me too#and i talk about pretty specific plot points#ANYWAY#i hope that was coherent???#i think one downside of cosmic horror is lik3#how do you talk about unknowable things lol#they are beyond our comprehension#let me try to wrangle em in with my silly little words

CRM Development: Enhancing Business Relationships with Smart Solutions
In the digital age, maintaining strong customer relationships is vital for any business aiming for long-term success. This is where CRM development—Customer Relationship Management development—plays a crucial role. It is not just a tech term; it represents a strategic approach to understanding, managing, and improving customer interactions using digital tools.
From small startups to large enterprises, businesses are turning to CRM systems to organize data, streamline processes, and improve customer experiences. A well-developed CRM system serves as the backbone of any customer-focused strategy.
What Is CRM Development?
CRM development involves the design, creation, and implementation of software systems that help manage interactions with customers and potential clients. These systems store valuable customer information such as purchase history, communication records, preferences, and support tickets in a centralized, accessible platform.
Unlike off-the-shelf solutions, custom CRM development allows businesses to build systems that align with their unique needs and workflows. It offers the flexibility to include only the features required and to scale as the company grows.
Why Businesses Need CRM Systems
The goal of CRM development is not just about storing contact information—it’s about enhancing customer relationships and improving internal efficiency. Here’s how a CRM system benefits businesses:
Centralized Data: All customer information is stored in one place, making it easier for teams to access and collaborate.
Improved Communication: Automated emails, reminders, and task assignments keep everyone in the loop.
Enhanced Customer Service: Support teams can resolve issues faster by having complete customer histories at their fingertips.
Sales Optimization: Track leads, monitor pipelines, and close deals faster with intelligent tools.
Performance Insights: Analytics and reporting features provide a clear view of what’s working and what needs attention.
Key Features of a Good CRM
An effective CRM system—custom-built or platform-based—should be user-friendly and include the following features:
Contact and Lead Management
Task and Workflow Automation
Sales Forecasting Tools
Email and Calendar Integration
Analytics Dashboards
Customizable Fields and Permissions
These tools are not just about managing customers—they are about understanding them better and serving them smarter.
Custom CRM vs. Off-the-Shelf Solutions
While many businesses start with popular CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot, they often find limitations in terms of customization and cost as they grow. Custom CRM development offers a more tailored experience, allowing businesses to design software around their specific operations and scale it without being locked into subscription-based pricing models.
Custom CRMs also provide more control over data security, integrations, and feature enhancements—an essential benefit for businesses handling sensitive customer information.
Where to Begin with CRM Development
Starting a CRM development project requires a clear understanding of business needs, goals, and pain points. It’s also essential to choose a development partner who can translate those needs into an effective digital solution.
A great example of such a partner is codingcafe.website. Specializing in custom CRM development, Coding Cafe focuses on building smart, scalable systems that match the unique workflows of each client. Their approach combines technical expertise with a strong understanding of business strategy, resulting in systems that are easy to use and highly effective.
From design to deployment and post-launch support, Coding Cafe works closely with businesses to create CRM systems that genuinely enhance customer engagement and internal operations.
The Future of CRM
As technology advances, CRM development is evolving too. Artificial intelligence, automation, and predictive analytics are reshaping how businesses interact with their customers. Modern CRM systems are becoming more intuitive—offering personalized experiences, forecasting trends, and automating routine tasks.
Investing in CRM development today is not just about improving current operations—it’s about preparing for a more connected and customer-focused future.

Are Digital Business Cards Worth the Investment? Cost vs. Benefits
ON THIS PAGE
What Is A Digital Business Card?
Are Digital Business Cards Worth It? Let’s Analyze the Costs
Are Digital Business Cards Worth It? Comparing Costs with Traditional Tools
Final Thoughts: Are Digital Business Cards Worth It?
A few years ago, the first thing that would come to mind when discussing networking and organizing events was a paper business card. But today, many wonder, are digital business cards worth it in the modern business world?
Today, this long-standing networking tool has been replaced by a more futuristic networking solution well-adapted to the modern business world - the digital business card. Like any new solution, it’s important to consider the cost of the digital business card to know if you can afford it and if it's relevant to your business.
Before investing, it’s important to analyze the cost of a digital business card and determine its value for your business. Let’s dive into the details.
What Is A Digital Business Card?
A digital business card is a modern networking solution that facilitates the seamless exchange of contacts. Due to the limited space on a paper card, you can add only so many details without ruining the appearance and design.
Digital business cards are different; they can accommodate and share detailed information, including links, multimedia, and social media profiles. You don’t have to meet a potential customer in person; you can share the card via link, email, Google, and Apple wallets.
With Leapon, you can share your digital card via a unique link, email, Google, and Apple Wallets. Each card has a unique QR code, perfect for virtual meetings and webinars. You can also update your details anytime through your Leapon account.
Are Digital Business Cards Worth It? Let’s Analyze the Costs
When assessing whether digital business cards are worth it, cost plays a major role. Digital cards save businesses from recurring expenses, such as printing costs, and often include built-in tools like scheduling and contact management. For instance, Leapon’s plans start at $6 per month and include features that traditional methods can’t match, such as unlimited contact storage and seamless sharing. Here is a breakdown of each plan's digital business card cost and features.
Free Plan
The free plan is great for new users who want to experiment with the digital card before upgrading. The features, though limited, include;
Save 10 contacts
Only 15 days of activity history
You can add tags, reminders, and notes alongside each contact
Schedule meetings via Outlook and Google calendars
Send group emails and personalized messages
Community support
Share the card email, URL, QR code, Google and Apple wallets
Customize branding with a logo and business name
No credit card is required to activate this freemium plan. Register and take a minute to customize your card to enjoy the convenience of smart networking.
Pro Plan ($6/month, billed annually)
The Pro plan is an upgrade from the free plan and offers everything in the Free plan plus;
Unlimited number of contacts
Unlimited activity history
Standard support
You can order a smart business card for $35
Team Plan ($18/month, billed annually)
This plan is ideal for a company comprising four team members. It offers everything in the Pro plan plus;
A custom team profile dashboard
Team directory
Complimentary smart business card for each team member
Priority support
Workflow automation by synching it with Zapier
Are Digital Business Cards Worth It? Comparing Costs with Traditional Tools
The comparison between digital cards and traditional methods reveals clear advantages. While paper cards involve printing costs and limited functionality, digital business cards eliminate these expenses and offer added value. Moreover, built-in features like Google Calendar integration and smart contact management significantly reduce the need for additional software, saving both time and money.
Save on Printing Costs
Paper business cards cost at least $10 - $25 per employee per month, depending on designing, and printing business cards and the quality of the paper.
Switching to a Leapon digital business card will cushion you from such recurring expenses and save money for other equally important business activities like digital marketing. Update the card regularly and actively share it with customers and experts in your industry to expand your professional network continuously.
We recently wrote an article about the power of smart networking and how to build genuine connections with customers; check it out.
Built-in Scheduling and Lead Management System
Basic scheduling and lead management software costs range between $12 - $100 per month. You might have to pay more to access advanced features.
Leapon saves you from such expenses by providing an in-build scheduling and lead management system - a contact management system at no extra cost.
Unlimited contact storage
Google and Outlook Calendar integration
Group emails, messages, reminders, and note-taking
Despite the advanced features, the smart contact management system is easy to use.
Professional Online Portfolio (mini website)
The average cost of a one-page portfolio website ranges between $500 and $5,000. You also have to factor in the cost of searching and hiring a website developer, hosting, and SEO expert to maintain the website.
Few businesses can afford to spend such a huge amount on an online portfolio. Luckily, Leapon offers the same features as a one-page website at an affordable rate. A Leapon digital business card costs only $6 per month, and you get to create a digital profile with a professional look and all the features and information customers need.
Showcase your business logo, brand name, bio, featured videos, and images
List services
Display customer reviews
Schedule meetings and send reminders
Seamless Contact Sharing
Unlike paper cards, which can run out or be misplaced, Leapon digital cards ensure you never miss an opportunity to connect. Features include:
Unlimited sharing
QR code for easy scanning
Smart contact management system
You can also order an NFC business card, rest assured that its sleek design will capture potential customers' attention. The interactive contact-sharing process will also make you memorable. Unlike paper cards you must hand out, you only need to tap your NFC card on the customer’s smartphone to share your details. Smart, right?
Interactive Multimedia Integration
One of the main advantages of digital business cards over traditional paper cards is the ability to integrate multimedia elements, making them more dynamic, engaging, and informative.
Instead of being limited to just text and a logo, digital business cards allow you to showcase your branding, experience, skills, and credibility through interactive content. Leapon allows users to add one featured video and three images.
Facilitate Seamless Connection to Your Website and Social Media
One of the most powerful features of a digital business card is the ability to link directly to your website and social media profiles, making it easier for potential clients, partners, and employers to learn more about you and engage with your content.
Unlike paper business cards, which require recipients to search for your online presence manually, digital business cards offer one-click access to all your contact details and more.
Final Thoughts: Are Digital Business Cards Worth It?
In conclusion, digital business cards stand out as a modern networking solution, replacing the repetitive costs of traditional methods with a sleek, all-in-one approach. They offer significant advantages in cost savings, efficiency, and functionality. Digital business cards, such as those provided by Leapon, are an investment worth making for businesses aiming to grow and succeed.
With Leapon, you get more value for your investment while eliminating the recurring costs of printing paper cards and maintaining a separate lead management system.
For as little as $6 per month, you gain access to a smart contact management system, seamless scheduling tools, and unlimited contact sharing. All these digital card features would otherwise cost you hundreds of dollars if purchased separately. The Team Plan at $18 per month further amplifies cost savings by streamlining business networking and collaboration among team members.
In total, you will save at least $35-$55 per month per employee by using a Leapon digital business card. Contact us today for more details.

Google Ads vs. Facebook Ads: The Real Estate Marketing Battle We All Needed
Alright, let’s cut to the chase. You’ve got a killer real estate project in Hyderabad, and you need eyeballs on it—real buyers, not just people liking pictures of balconies they’ll never own. It’s the big question: Google Ads, or Facebook Ads?
Which brings you more of those “ready to book” leads? Which rips up your pockets faster? Which is worth any of your hard-earned marketing spend?
Let’s settle this using hard facts, a little bit of digital street wisdom, and a time-tested, effective strategy.
Google Ads for Real Estate: Where Buyers Come Looking
Google Ads is where serious homebuyers go hunting. Someone searching for “3BHK flats in Gachibowli” isn’t just passing time—they’re actively looking to buy. Is your ad showing up at the top? That’s like having a prime billboard right where it matters.
Why Google Ads are Relevant for Real Estate:
✔ High-intent leads – An interested buyer sees people searching for homes and not just casually scrolling.
✔ Location-based targeting-Your ad will reach only those locations that are relevant, cities, areas, and even pin codes.
✔ Higher conversions – When someone clicks on your ad, they’re likely to want details.
✔ Keyword control – Specify what search terms will trigger your ads (“flats near hitecity”?).
But It’s Not All Smooth Sailing
❌ Sky-high costs – Real estate keywords in Hyderabad? Mad expensive.
❌ Limited visual appeal – Text-based ads can’t match the aesthetic of a video tour.
❌ Requires expertise – Google Ads needs a solid strategy (randomly boosting ads = throwing money away).
Facebook Ads for Real Estate: The Ultimate Attention Magnet
Now, Facebook Ads (and Insta, since Meta runs the show) don’t wait for people to search. Instead, they plant the idea in their minds—you know, the way you see an ad for sneakers right after thinking about running.
Why Facebook Ads Work for Real Estate:
✔ Insane targeting options – Age, income, location, lifestyle—Meta knows it all.
✔ Super engaging formats – Carousels, reels, and virtual walkthroughs grab attention instantly.
✔ Retargeting goldmine – If someone checked out your website and bounced, Facebook reminds them.
✔ Budget-friendly reach – Cheaper than Google Ads, with better cost per lead in most cases.
The Downsides of Facebook Ads
❌ Low-intent leads: Just because someone clicks on the ad, it does not mean they intend to purchase it.
❌ Algorithm fluctuations: Your ad may do well on a particular day and poorly the next.
❌ Very crowded space: Competing with photo albums from family vacations, food reels, and memes.
Google Ads vs. Facebook Ads: The Face-Off

The Winning Real Estate Marketing Strategy
Here’s the smart play: Don’t pick one. Use both.
Google Ads for:
Hot leads actively searching for homes.
Location-based campaigns (like “Flats in Kondapur”).
Faster conversions, especially for ready-to-move-in properties.
Facebook Ads for:
Creating demand before buyers even start searching.
Retargeting people who checked your site but didn’t sign up.
Building brand awareness with eye-catching visuals.
The Real Power Move?
Use Google Ads to bring in search traffic, then retarget them on Facebook. Someone searches “luxury villas in Hyderabad”, visits your website, then forgets about it. A week later, they see a Facebook ad with a video tour of the project they checked out. Now they remember you. Now they’re interested again.
That’s how you win the digital marketing game in real estate.
Final Takeaway
Google Ads are for high-intent, ready-to-buy leads.
Facebook Ads are for grabbing attention and keeping your project top of mind.
If you want real results, use both strategically, not randomly.
Now, go get those leads.

“The Diabetes Toolbox: Tech, Tricks, and Hacks for Easier Management”
Managing diabetes doesn’t have to feel like climbing a mountain in flip-flops. Thanks to modern tech, clever hacks, and some creative tricks, you can streamline your routine and take back control. Let’s dive into the ultimate diabetes toolbox for making life a little easier (and maybe even fun).
1. Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs): Your Personal Data Whisperer
Gone are the days of endless finger pricks. A CGM tracks your blood sugar in real-time and sends updates straight to your phone.
Top Perks:
See patterns and trends (great for catching stealthy highs or lows).

6. Low Blood Sugar Hacks: Snack Smart
Stock up on fast-acting carbs that work quickly and taste great:
Classics: Glucose tabs, juice boxes.
Creative Options: Honey sticks, gummy bears, or fruit leathers.
For Nightstand Storage: Mini cereal boxes or pre-measured bags of candy.
Pro Tip: A cute snack pouch makes carrying these lifesavers a little more fun.
7. Meal Prep: Diabetes-Friendly and Delicious
Take the guesswork out of meals by planning ahead:
Batch Cooking: Prep a few low-carb meals on weekends.
Use a Food Scale: For precise carb counts.
Try Diabetes-Friendly Cookbooks: Look for recipes tailored to managing blood sugar.
Simplify even more by building meals around “safe” staples like eggs, leafy greens, and lean proteins.
8. Exercise Tools: Keep Moving, Stay Balanced
Exercise helps lower blood sugar, but it’s easier with the right gear:
Fitness Trackers: Apple Watch, Fitbit, or Garmin to track steps and workouts.
Workout Snacks: Keep fast-acting carbs on hand for sudden lows.
Portable Glucose Monitors: For checking mid-workout.
Even a 10-minute walk after meals can make a big difference.
9. Emergency Kits: Always Be Prepared
Diabetes can be unpredictable, so create a kit for unexpected situations:
Essentials: Glucose meter, strips, insulin, syringes, snacks, glucagon.
Travel Additions: Copies of prescriptions, backup supplies, and a note explaining diabetes in case of emergencies.
Keep one at work, in your car, or anywhere you spend a lot of time.
10. The Power of Community: Learn from Others
Join diabetes groups, forums, or social media communities to discover even more hacks. Some favorites include:
Facebook Groups: “Type 1 Diabetes Support Group” or “Low Carb for Diabetics.”
Instagram Accounts: Follow influencers sharing tips and humor.
Reddit: Check out r/diabetes or r/type1diabetes for advice and laughs.
You’ll find the best tricks from people who’ve been there and get it.

How to Build a Fitness App with Kotlin?
With rising health awareness worldwide, fitness app development solutions have become exceedingly popular lately. People want to better track their physical activities, workouts, calories burnt and overall health right from their mobile devices. To create a fitness app can thus be a lucrative endeavor for many app developers today.
In this detailed guide, we will explore how to build your own fitness app using Kotlin programming language and integrate it with Wear OS smartwatches for enhanced user experience.
Why Kotlin is a Great Choice for Building Android Fitness Apps
When it comes to choosing a language for developing Android apps, Kotlin has emerged as the top choice in recent years vs the traditionally popular Java language. Kotlin is a modern statically typed language that runs smoothly on the Java Virtual Machine (JVM). It provides a more concise and safe syntax over Java which allows fitness app developers to express their app logic easily resulting in more readable and maintainable code.
Here are some of the major advantages of using Kotlin for fitness app development:
Firstly, Kotlin requires much less boilerplate code compared to Java. Kotlin code is more expressive and compact. This allows fitness app developers to capture complex program logic in a few lines of code instead of dozens of lines in Java.
Secondly, Kotlin's strong static type system and null safety features eliminate many common errors like null pointer exceptions leading to fewer crashes and improved app stability.
Next, Kotlin offers complete interoperability with existing Java frameworks and libraries. So fitness app developers can conveniently leverage the rich Android ecosystem and resources built with Java.
Moreover, Kotlin supports useful functional programming constructs like higher-order functions and lambdas. This functional style allows crafting app logic in a declarative manner and is very useful for implementing complex logic concisely.
Finally, the syntax of Kotlin is quite similar to Java and other modern languages so Java developers can quickly become productive in Kotlin without learning from scratch.
Must-Have Features and Capabilities of a Fitness Tracking App
Fitness app development solutions today are relied upon by millions of users worldwide to stay on top of their health and wellness routine. So the app should provide a rich feature set to fulfill most tracking needs of users.
Here are some of the major capabilities users expect in a competent fitness tracking app:
The app should enable flexible logging of a wide variety of fitness activities like walking, jogging, running, cycling, gym workouts, yoga, swimming and more. This is the primary functionality users need for recording their exercise sessions. The app should also provide intuitive stats and analytics to the user like activity duration, calories burnt, heart rate trends, body measurements and progress over time. This data can be presented via interactive charts and graphs. Another popular feature is social sharing which lets users share their activities and achievements on social media. This allows users to motivate each other towards their fitness goals.
Furthermore, integration with wearable devices like fitness bands is a must-have. This allows the app to seamlessly capture detailed activity data like steps taken, distance covered, heart rate automatically from such devices. The app also needs to send smart reminders and notifications to the user so that they stay consistent with their fitness routine even amidst busy schedules. Next, providing user accounts and profile is vital for storing user data like weight, height and other attributes securely on cloud. Lastly, the app can incorporate gamification elements like rewards, badges and leaderboard to boost user engagement over the long term.
The app can begin with developing these core capabilities in the MVP and subsequently enhance it by adding more advanced analytics and guidance features.
Architecting the App with Kotlin - Key Components and Patterns
When building the architecture for a Kotlin based fitness app, fitness app developers must pay attention to crafting different layers holding distinct responsibilities.
Here are some key components and patterns to consider when structuring the app architecture:
A robust persistence layer forms the backbone of the app for managing storage and retrieval of data. For local data storage on app, fitness app developers can use Room Persistence Library which provides convenient object relational mapping and a fluent SQLite database access API. Room database is an excellent choice for caching app data locally. Shared Preferences is another simple key-value storage useful for persistently storing app settings and user preferences.
For remote cloud storage, Firebase Realtime Database or Cloud Firestore are excellent choices. They simplify building flexible cloud backends for syncing user data across devices.
Next, the app needs a clean UI layer containing Kotlin classes like Activities, Fragments and Views that define the visual interface. Kotlin Android Extensions can be used for type-safe View binding. Important components here include the MainActivity housing app navigation, detail fragments to show drill-down stats for each activity type, input fragments so users can log new activities easily, and RecyclerView adapters that populate the list of activities. Material design components and patterns should be leveraged to craft intuitive and user-friendly UI/UX.
Then the logic layer coordinates key app capabilities like tracking user activities, calculating health stats, sending notifications, integrating with wearables etc. Kotlin classes like ViewModels, database entities, utility classes, Services and BroadcastReceivers comprise this layer. ViewModels manage UI data and handle user actions, Services perform background jobs like data syncing, AlarmManager schedules vital background jobs while Wear API helps exchange data between handset and wearable device.
Testing is absolutely crucial - unit tests, instrumentation tests, UI tests help catch bugs early. Kotlin coroutines provide excellent concurrency support for writing asynchronous tests.
By segregating components into distinct layers and leveraging patterns like MVVM, Repository pattern - fitness app development solutions can incorporate new features with minimal fuss.
Conclusion
To summarize, here are some key highlights about engineering a fitness tracking app with Kotlin:
Using Kotlin over Java enhances developer productivity and enables building stable, smooth Android apps.
Must-have features include flexible activity tracking, analytics, device integration, notifications and more.
Architect app using MVVM, repository pattern for clean separation of concerns.
Integrate wearables for unlocking enhanced tracking capabilities.
Distribute app via multiple channels for maximum reach.
However, there are certain limitations too. The app would require constant updates to fix bugs and remain competitive. Server costs need to be managed, especially if user base scales massively. Maintaining platform compatibility across Android versions poses challenges. Securing user data is a constant requirement.
Nonetheless, with careful planning and execution, building successful fitness app development solutions with Kotlin is certainly achievable. The potential for innovation in this space is immense when it comes to devising features that truly empower users in leading fitter, healthier lives.
