ONE MORE THING
Tumblr media
Apple Vision Pro
Tumblr media
Y’all just have to watch the video for this. If Apple delivers on what they’re showing then its a big moment.
youtube
•Uses hand & eye tracking to control the device. No controllers. •Apps can react to the world around you •Look at search fields and you can just start talking to fill it out •Also the front of the device shows your eyes… its… weird…  •Calling it “Eyesight” •Supposed to make it easier for people to see where you’re paying attention
Tumblr media
•Again, this is such a weird new dynamic that its hard to describe here without seeing the visuals •Works as a 3D Camera  •Turn any space into a 3D IMAX theater
OH BOB IGER IS HERE
Tumblr media
• Ok actually watch this Disney demo. Wild stuff. But also consider of it half of it is probably fake.
•New R1 chip in addition to the M2 chip for the device. •runs “virtually silent” so it makes some noise lol •Device makes a 3D avatar of you for FaceTime calls. Like a lifelike avatar. Very different from how Meta does their calls •New images streamed to the displays in 12 milliseconds
Tumblr media
•visionOS is the name of the operating system here. The assumed name was realityOS. •Lots of developers, including Adobe & Microsoft, building support for launch •New app store for the device as well •Unlocks via Optic ID, which uses your Iris and stores information encrypted on the device •Device does not share data with developers about where you look on the screen •Over 5000 patents went into this thing
Tumblr media
•$3499  •Available early next year •that’s both more expensive and later than what as expected
And that's a wrap. Some real interesting stuff shown today. Public Betas of the software updates should be available in about a month. And if you're looking for the new iPhones or watches, you're about three months too early. Check back in September for more on that!
You can view the whole keynote from today below or a quick video recap from Apple as well.

The Apple Vision Pro: Embracing the Future of Mixed Reality
As an avid follower of Apple and other leading tech giants, I eagerly stay updated on their events and announcements, especially when it comes to new hardware, software, and platforms. These influential companies, renowned for their global consumer reach and market dominance, consistently take risks to invest in emerging trends and secure a competitive edge. While not all endeavors gain the desired traction and some are eventually abandoned, the industry is always buzzing with anticipation whenever these tech giants introduce groundbreaking innovations.
Tumblr media
The Emergence of Facial Wearable Computers:
For the past decade, numerous companies have championed the concept of facial wearable computers, promising to revolutionize the technology industry. On, June 5th 2023, during the WWDC event, Apple made a monumental announcement by unveiling their highly anticipated product, the Apple Vision Pro—an advanced augmented-reality headset scheduled to launch early next year. This venture is widely regarded as Apple's boldest gamble since the groundbreaking introduction of the iPhone over fifteen years ago, as the company ventures into a market currently dominated by Meta (formerly Facebook).
The Vision Pro: Blending Virtual and Real Worlds:
After thoroughly exploring various articles, interviews, and firsthand experiences shared by media personalities who had the opportunity to test the device in controlled environments, I discovered that the Apple Vision Pro sets itself apart as an Mixed reality gadget rather than a virtual reality headset or just a Augmented reality headset. What truly distinguishes it is its unique surrounding-aware feature, enabling the overlay of visuals onto our natural perception of the physical world. This remarkable capability places it on par with Meta quest Pro.
Tumblr media
Impacting Industries:
Based on my comprehensive research, I firmly believe that the Apple Vision Pro possesses the potential to revolutionize several industries, transforming user experiences across various domains:
Sports & Entertainment: The home entertainment sector is poised for a significant leap with the Vision Pro, offering users an incredibly immersive experience. Imagine sitting on your couch and feeling as if you're an active participant in a theatrical performance, concert, or sporting event. Although only one person can enjoy the experience at a time, the immersive content, combined with the potential for "Family Sharing," creates a surreal home entertainment atmosphere.
Gaming: Undoubtedly, gaming will witness one of the most profound impacts from the Apple Vision Pro. The integration of hand gestures and the device's immersive capabilities will elevate racing and action games to new levels of captivation. Anticipate a surge in the popularity of massive multiplayer and role-playing games that can fully leverage the Vision Pro's features.
eCommerce: The unstoppable rise of direct-to-consumer and eCommerce shopping is set to reach unprecedented heights with the Apple Vision Pro. Imagine purchasing home decor or furniture and being able to virtually visualize how it fits and appears in your living space, almost as if experiencing it in a life-size and realistic environment. Additionally, other shopping genres such as fashion and apparel can offer similar experiences using life-size self-avatars. Real-time shopping is on the cusp of a game-changing transformation.
Education & Learning: Augmented reality has the potential to enhance the effectiveness of teaching, and the Apple Vision Pro can play a significant role in making learning more captivating and immersive. Subjects like mathematics, science, chemistry, space travel, astronomy, engineering, and medical education could undergo a revolutionary transformation with the integration of this technology. The Apple Vision Pro has the capability to revolutionize skill development and primary education, providing students with new and engaging ways to learn.
Numerous industries and sectors can also reap the benefits of spatial computing. While there are already many players in the market, Apple's dedication to consumer experience and safety is expected to inspire the entire industry. With the introduction of new devices, competitive pricing, and a robust ecosystem, the Apple Vision Pro has the potential to drive the growth of the next phase of digital and virtual experiences. We can anticipate a multitude of innovative advancements to follow in its wake.

iOS 17 Has Some New Tricks up its Sleeve
Tumblr media
Apple's WWDC 2023 showcase was met with much anticipation and fanfare from fans of the Cupertino-based brand, and the new products that were shown off at the event were undoubtedly some of the most exciting that we've seen from Apple in recent years. With that in mind, Apple also announced some upcoming updates to several of its software products, including its mobile platform - iOS 17 is just around the corner, and it brings a ton of upgrades to everyday functionality. For this one, we're taking a look at the big highlights of iOS 17 - let's get started! Journal App Apple announced a new app with iOS 17 in the form of "Journal." The company says that the app is geared towards improving personal well-being and mental health, and lets users keep a track of their own personal life journal based on suggestions courtesy of machine learning - this will include recent activities, photos, people, places, workouts, and more. Updates to Calling Apps Users can now assign personalised Contact Posters via the phone app, which changes how they appear during calls and will take effect via the Phone app as well as third-party calling apps. Users can customize this feature using photos, fonts and Memoji. Additionally, Live Voicemail will allow users to see real-time transcription as someone leaves a voicemail, and the opportunity to pick up while the caller is leaving their message. Spam calls will be instantly declined as well if detected by the carrier as such. FaceTime also gets some new features - users can now send audio and video messages when calling someone who isn't available at the time of the call. New reactions such as hearts, balloons, and more will also be accessible to users during calls. FaceTime users can also use Continuity Camera to start a video call directly from Apple TV, or start the call on iPhone and then hand it off to Apple TV. Messages gets a Boost The Apple Messages app also gets updates with iOS 17, including access to new emoji stickers, as well as the ability to create Live Stickers by lifting subjects from photos. Users can also add effects to Live Stickers, with an easily-accessible shortcut via the keyboard that stores all of a user’s stickers in one place for easier access. The Search function has also been update, with more precise search filters which makes sifting through your messages a lit easier. Apple has also added a new catch-up arrow that indicates where the user last left off in the conversation. Real-time location sharing is now possible in addition to Check In, which notifies a user's contacts if they have arrived at their destination. Voice messages will now support real-time audio transcription as well. More importantly, Apple says that it has improved iOS' Autocorrect feature, which has long been a thorn in the side for many iPhone users. The new update makes use of a a transformer language model, which helps out with machine learning capabilities for language prediction. File Sharing Building on iOS' AiDrop functionality, Apple also introduced "NameDrop," a new feature that allows users to easily share contact information by simply bringing their iPhones together, or by bringing an iPhone and Apple Watch together. Using gestures, users can also share content or start SharePlay to listen to music, watch a movie, or play a game while in close proximity between iPhone devices. Glanceable Information iOS 17 also comes with StandBy, allowing users to view glanceable information when their iPhone is on its side and charging. StandBy works similar to a smart home display, and Apple says it is perfect for nightstands, kitchen counter, desks and such. Users can personalise their display with a variety of clock styles, favourite photos and widgets, and it also comes with support for Live Activities, Siri, incoming calls, and larger notifications. The iOS 17 developer beta is now available for Apple Developer Program members at developer.apple.com, with a public beta scheduled for release next month. (you can check out more features here). WWDC 2023: A Look at the New Features for Developers
Tumblr media
Apple's upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference is anticipated to be one of its most significant events yet, as the company may finally unveil its mixed reality headset after years of speculation and leaked information. This move would not only introduce Apple into a new product category but also showcase its efforts to demonstrate the value of investing in virtual reality.  Additionally, the conference is expected to include operating system updates, new apps and features, and potentially new hardware. We have compiled information on the main WWDC keynote and some of the anticipated Apple announcements, including when and how to watch them. Apple has announced that the primary WWDC keynote for this year will occur on Monday, June 5th, at 1PM ET / 10AM PT. The event will take place both digitally and in-person at Apple Park in Cupertino, California. Tim Cook, Apple CEO, is expected to begin the proceedings. Where can I watch WWDC? The WWDC keynote will be available for live streaming on Apple's website and YouTube channel. Once it goes live, the stream will also be embedded at the top of this article. If you are unable to watch it live, Apple will post a pre-recorded version on YouTube for later viewing. Now, let's delve into the major announcements that we anticipate Apple will make at WWDC. What’s next for Apple? Apple has many new Mac models in the works. Although it's uncertain if all of these will be revealed at the WWDC, it remains a possibility. Apart from the aforementioned MacBooks, several new products, including a Mac Pro with an in-house Apple chip, an updated 24-inch iMac, and two Mac Studio models, are being constructed.  Furthermore, we're keeping a close eye on Apple's AI developments. While there hasn't been much buzz regarding their AI pursuits, the company's job postings show a keen interest in hiring AI experts. In addition, ChatGPT has recently been banned for Apple staff due to data privacy worries, indicating that the corporation might be creating its own AI tool for workers, similar to Samsung.  Of course, we'll also be anticipating the launch of the iPhone 15 later this year. According to rumors, all models of the iPhone 15 will feature Dynamic Island (not just the Pro), as well as a USB-C port, a result of another EU regulation. However, we'll have to wait until September for that. Developers can look forward to updates to iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and more at the WWDC event. Rumors suggest that iOS 17 will bring various quality-of-life updates, including a Personal Voice tool and an iPhone lockscreen feature. iPadOS 17 may address technical issues with Stage Manager. While little is known about macOS 14 and tvOS 17, watchOS 10 is expected to receive a significant update with a new widget-heavy interface. Read the full article

iOS 16.5 Update: New Features and Expectations for iOS 17
Tumblr media
Apple has officially released iOS 16.5 for all users, bringing a handful of changes and improvements. While the changelog may not be extensive, there are notable additions worth exploring. One of the updates includes a new 'Sport' tab in Apple News, allowing users to stay updated on sports-related stories, match scores, and additional details. Users can now find comprehensive information about the teams and leagues they follow, enhancing their sports news experience. Moreover, Apple News has introduced the My Sports score and fixture cards, providing a convenient way for users to access match pages and gather all the necessary details. Alongside these enhancements, iOS 16.5 introduces a new Pride Celebration wallpaper for the Lock Screen, adding a touch of vibrancy and inclusivity. In addition to these new features, iOS 16.5 also addresses several bug fixes. It resolves issues such as unresponsive Spotlight, automatic reset of Screen Time settings, and content loading failures in Podcasts on CarPlay. Users can now enjoy a smoother and more reliable experience with these fixes in place. To access the update, users can navigate to the Software Update option within the General Settings of their devices. Looking ahead, iOS 16.5 is likely the final iteration before the highly anticipated iOS 17 makes its debut at WWDC 2023 next month. While iOS 17 is not expected to bring major overhauls, some exciting additions are anticipated. Rumors suggest that users might see updates to the Lock Screen, including the ability to customize designs and view Apple Music lyrics directly on the home screen. iOS 17 Release date, Features, Overview
Tumblr media
The iOS 17 upgrade from Apple is under development and will be previewed at WWDC before going live in September 2023.
iOS 17 Overview
The iOS 17 operating system will be released on June 5, which is still a few months away, but because Apple is currently developing the upgrade, we only have a few details at this time. iOS 17 may be more significant than first believed since it will include some of the "most requested features" that customers have been requesting, according to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg. Other potential changes have been mentioned by reputable sources who talked with MacRumors, including revisions to Control Center, active widgets, a redesigned Dynamic Island, and more. Originally intended as a "tune up" update to correct problems and boost speed, iOS 17 will now also contain a few "nice to have features." Apple has devoted a lot of its resources to the creation of the xrOS operating system, which is intended to operate on the AR/VR headset, so it won't, however, have a major "tentpole feature" like the updated Lock Screen we saw in iOS 16. Apple remains aims to add some enjoyable additions while also fixing critical bugs and improving efficiency.
iOS 17 Features
Control Point
According to a source who has previously correctly anticipated Apple's iOS 17 may include "major" changes to the built-in Control Center. The Control Center is anticipated to be one of the most noticeable improvements in iOS 17, however as of yet, little is known about the particular modifications that will be made beyond "UI" and "customization." Since the release of iOS 11 in 2017, the Control Center has not had a significant change.
Journaling Program
Apple is creating a journaling tool that will enable users to keep track of and report their everyday activities as well as their thoughts. The program will evaluate user activity to ascertain what a normal day entails, including how much time is spent at home and whether a day includes anything unusual, according to The Wall Street Journal. It will be able to identify people who are nearby and offer prospective themes that a user might like to write about. However, all data and daily analysis will be performed on the smartphone. The app will be able to interact with text messages and phone conversations. With iOS 17, the journaling app could be released.
Dynamic Island
Apple is allegedly making improvements to Dynamic Island that will enable it to "do a lot more." The development team for the Dynamic Island apparently came under pressure from Apple's marketing division to expand its capabilities because the feature will be supported when the more reasonably priced iPhone 15 devices go on sale. For instance, the Dynamic Island might incorporate the on-screen Siri interface, making the iPhone's Siri pop-up less intrusive. By moving Siri to the Dynamic Island, on-screen information would remain fully visible without the circular Siri interface that it currently covers up.
Active Widgets
On the iPhone's Home Screen and Today View, Apple is "testing" active widgets, although the functionality is "not confirmed by any means." If used, active widgets may come with one-tap buttons, sliders, and other features that would make them more dynamic and interactive.
Improved Search and Spotlight
The system-wide search and Spotlight features will be much improved, however specifics were not disclosed.
Health App Updates
The Health app will soon be accessible on both the iPhone and the iPad thanks to Apple's expansion to the iPad. A mood monitoring feature will also be available in the Health app, allowing users to monitor their mood, answer questions about their day, and analyze trends over time. Additionally, there will be updated features for people who have vision problems like nearsightedness.
Lock Screen Updates
The Lock Screen may receive some small upgrades, such as the ability to adjust the text size. With a new sharing option for personalized Lock Screens, anyone who develop Lock Screen designs may be able to share them with other iPhone users. In iPadOS 17, it's probable that the iPad may embrace iPhone-style Lock Screen modifications, enabling users to utilize widgets for the Lock Screen, movable wallpapers, a movable clock, and more. According to rumors, Apple Maps' Live Activity interface will be overhauled for the Lock Screen and will fill the whole screen. According to the reported design, which is based on an unconfirmed source, Apple Maps will offer thorough turn-by-turn directions that cover most of the screen.
Apple Music Customizations
Apple Music is anticipated to have a more user-friendly layout, and it's possible that lyrics will be seen right on the lock screen.
App Library Folders
App Library folders will soon be able to be manually renamed, which is now not available.
Flashlight Adjustments
The brightness of the flashlight will be programmable with a slider, similar to the volume button, as opposed to being constrained to three brightness levels.
Wallet App
Tumblr media
According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, the Wallet app will get improvements, although we don't know what those updates will entail. The Wallet app will, include a navigation bar at the bottom that divides the many features it offers. There are mentioned categories for Cards, Cash, Keys, IDs, and Orders. Users will allegedly be able to swipe down to access a search interface and a "Transactions" button to discover a certain card or pass. This would be a practical enhancement over the existing Wallet app layout since it would be easier to discover things like particular passes and order information.
Find My
There will be enhancements to the Find My app and Find My-related features along with a location information upgrade.
Performance and Stability
The iOS 17 update's primary objectives are to increase stability, performance, and effectiveness. Apple will also aim to provide ongoing support for legacy hardware. Some devices with 3GB RAM may experience instability with early betas, although Apple is anticipated to dramatically increase stability throughout the duration of the beta testing period.
Support for the Mixed Reality Headset
Apple's AR/VR headset will work independently and have its own App Store, but interaction with the iPhone, even if it's only Handoff, is probably going to be at least somewhat present. Apple's devices all interact with one another in different ways, thus we anticipate iOS 17 to include additional headset-related functionality.
CarPlay Updates
Tumblr media
Apple previewed a new CarPlay experience with better vehicle connection at the 2022 Worldwide Developers Conference, enabling car features like radio volume and radio to be managed through CarPlay. Additionally, Apple intends to enable multiple monitors and add widgets. Since the first automobiles with next-generation CarPlay integration are expected in late 2023, iOS 17 or an upgrade to iOS 17 are likely to have compatibility.
Support for Sideloading and Alternate App Stores
Beginning in 2024, European regulation mandates that Apple permit sideloading, and the company intends to comply starting with iOS 17. With Apple being compelled to permit users to utilize alternative installation methods like third-party app stores, customers in Europe may be able to download apps without using the App Store with iOS 17. For applications that clients install through alternative methods, developers would not be required to pay Apple's 15 to 30% fees, although Apple still intends to charge a fee. The sideloading modifications will initially only apply to users in the European Union, but when other nations approve laws resembling the Digital Markets Act in Europe, Apple may broaden the capabilities. Due to the significant engineering changes that must be done in order to provide sideloading capability, iOS 17 development may be impacted.
Beta Limitations
Apple modified how developer and public betas are installed on the iPhone and iPad with iOS 16.4 and iPadOS 16.4. Apple no longer uses profiles to install updates; instead, it now requires an Apple ID that is connected to either a developer account or an account that has registered for the public beta. This change will make it impossible for non-developers to install the iOS 17 beta using a shared developer profile, as each installation will now need authentication via an Apple ID linked to a developer account.
iOS 17 Compatible Devices
- iPad Pro (2017 and later) - iPad Air (third generation and later) - iPad (sixth generation and later) - iPad mini (fifth generation and later)
iOS 17 Release Date
iOS 17 will be previewed at the Worldwide Developers Conference headline presentation on June 5. iOS 17 will be made accessible to developers for testing following WWDC, with a public beta probably arriving in July. After a period of beta testing, iOS 17 will be released in September 2023 along with brand-new iPhones. Read the full article

Trends in Mobile App Development to Watch in 2023 and 2024
The market for a mobile app development company in USA & India constantly changing. Mobile app trends are directly influenced by customer desires, technological developments, and a broad range of other variables.
Keeping up with current trends is undoubtedly the most important factor in becoming successful in this field. I frequently look for trends and consult with other tech executives about obtaining an edge as a member of the Forbes Technology Council.
The list that follows is not simply my own view or a guess. I've identified the top app development trends that will rule in 2023 using fact-based research.
1. Integration of Internet of Things (IoT) apps
The idea of the IoT is familiar. Yet, the increased use of mobile devices across a wide range of industries and product categories has given the Internet of Things what limitless prospects.
People are used to utilizing technology to make their lives better on a daily basis.
The Internet of Things (IoT) refers to the expanding network of gadgets linked to the Internet, providing users convenience and automated control. A prime illustration of the growth of IoT and mobile app development is smart home technologies.
2. Foldable device apps
One of my very first mobile phones was a flip phone, which seems like a lifetime ago now. During the past ten years, mobile phones have unquestionably transformed. The market has been dominated by touch displays with one or no buttons.
Yet in the last several years, foldable technology has started to resurface. Foldable gadgets including the Samsung Galaxy Fold, the Huawei Mate X, and the redesigned Motorola Razr were released in 2019.
Depending on the user's wishes, these cell phones may fold to reduce or increase the screen size. By foldable the gadget, a user may, for instance, make a call while watching a movie on a smaller screen.
3. The 5G Revolution
The introduction of 5G will significantly affect app patterns in 2023. This technology has the potential to transform the way mobile apps are used and produced for developers, resellers, and creators.
Examine the anticipated expansion of 5G smartphone connectivity during the following four years.
Mobile app functionality will finally improve with the adoption of 5G. As a result, developers will be able to update apps with new features without having an adverse impact on the app's functionality.
While testing and developing an app, developers and mobile app resellers should also employ 5G network speed.
4. Wearable device development
Wearable technology has also been on the rise for some time. This isn't always a market innovation. Fitness bands, trackers, and smartwatches have been around for a while.
Yet the potential of wearable technology hasn't yet been fully realized.
For instance, during the 2019 WWDC, Apple made a significant announcement on wearables and app integration. The Apple App Store is now available for Apple Watch thanks to the latest watchOS 6. These gadgets are getting their own independent apps made for them. The possibilities this has given content producers and app vendors is huge.
More mobile apps will be developed in 2023 with wearables in mind. Tens of thousands of apps will be available for users to download just from their wrist.
5. Beacon Technology
A variety of sectors have embraced beacon technology. Beacons may enhance the usefulness of almost any mobile app, from retail to healthcare and hospitality.
Back in 2013, the first mobile app beacons were created. However, this technology has undergone tremendous advances in recent years.
This is an illustration of how mobile applications and beacons interact. Consider that you create applications for merchants as mobile app resellers. Your clients can install beacons in their stores that connect with a user’s smartphone via Bluetooth if the app is on their device. When a user passes by a beacon, they can be instantly notified about a sale or special on products in that store.
6. Mobile Business
Without discussing mobile commerce, my list of 2023 app trends would be incomplete. The years 2021, 2022, and 2023 will all be dominated by this trend.
Everyone appears to be using mobile apps to boost income. There is a lot of money to be earned in this industry, from major merchants to independent content producers and personal branding.
One of the top features that mobile app resellers highlight for clients during client pitches is mobile e-commerce capabilities. Every day, it seems, a new company releases an app to increase sales.
Conclusion
The creation of mobile apps is evolving continually. You won't be able to maintain competition if you continue to develop apps utilizing knowledge from two or three years ago. Industry trends for mobile apps can make or break your project's success.
You might regard the mobile app trends for 2023 as your holy book if you're a reseller or a mobile app development firm. You can have an advantage in your field by doing this. Your team's mobile app developers must all be aware of current developments in mobile app development and incorporate them into their work.
Every trend does not always need to be incorporated into every app you create. Yet, in order to be able to respond to market changes, you must have a general awareness of them.
Every trend does not always need to be incorporated into every app you create. Yet in order to make the necessary adjustments, you must have a broad awareness of how the market is changing.
One of the best iOS app development companies in the USA, Wama offers customers iOS apps that are robust, easy to use, fluid, and secure. Wama maintains its position at the cutting edge of technology by utilizing its access to the most recent trends and its expert experience and in-depth subject knowledge in iOS app development to create distinctive and personalized iOS apps with user-friendly features and potent functionality.

Who are your competitors?
These questions will serve as the base for deciding further app development parameters. If you know the answer of the above questions then move ahead with this article to build your knowledge ahead with iOS application development.
In this article, we will discuss the various parameters that impact either positively or negatively on the development cost of an iOS application.
1. Some Facts and Figure
– Market Overview
The market of smartphone users has steadily and significantly increased in the past few years and it is forecast that it will increase in the upcoming years as well. If we talk about the US, then the number of smartphone users in the US has rapidly grown since 2010.
The number of smartphone users has reached to 257.3 million in 2018 from 62.6 million in 2010. According to statista report, it is estimated that the number is going to hit 285.3 million by 2023.
Tumblr media
(Source: Statista)
– Smartphones Market Share by Brand and Operating System
The most popular smartphone brands in America are Samsung and Apple. In addition to this, iOS and Android hold large market shares followed by Blackberry OS, Bada and Windows.
According to statista report, 54.4% of smartphone users are using Google Android device while Apple holds a 44.3% market share in 2018. In 2017, there were 97.2 million iPhone users in the US itself.
Currently, iPhone is the highest sold smartphone in the US followed by Android devices. If we talk about popular iOS app category worldwide, then social networking apps have 90.89% market reach globally in 2018.
2. iOS Development Trends to follow in 2019
Technology and trends are dynamic in nature, with each passing year they are evolving to deliver the best user experience. Apple has always incorporated the latest trends into their upcoming applications and updates. In 2019, new trends will boost the advancement in the iOS app development.
Here is the list of the latest iOS app development drifts that will drive the user-engagement in 2019.
– Expecting iOS 13
It is expected that Apple is going to introduce iOS 13 in its upcoming WWDC 2019 conference which will take place from June 3 to June 7. With iOS 13, iOS app developers can expect some major redesign in your iPhones and tablets.
What to expect from iOS 13?
Home screen redesign: The background layout is all DARK. (Dark mode designs).
Improved multitasking features for the iPad: iOS 13 will offer multiple windows open in the same application using a tab view.
Undo option on the keyboard: You can just triple tap and swipe left to Undo or triple tap and swipe right to Redo on your keyboard.
Smarter mail: Mail app with multiple item selection similar to Gmail like marketing, travel, purchases, etc.
Cross-platform iOS and Mac Apps: Apple is working on bringing iOS apps to Mac.
Note: Thus, developers  need to make sure that the new applications that they are designing adhere to these changes and run smoothly on new iOS version i.e iOS 13.

208 - Stage Manager for iPad Is Not for Everyone - With Guest Guy Serle
The latest In Touch With iOS with Dave and Warren they are joined by guest Guy Serle. Stage Manager is a great new feature for multitasking on the iPad in iPadOS 16 it won’t work on any iPad below M1 processor so 2 year old iPads will not get full experience and many are unhappy. The EU wants to force USB-C on all mobile devices and Apple may need to retire the lightning connector which is over 10 years old. tvOS actually has some new features which Apple rarely offers. Sherlocked apps are a thing and Reincubate makers of Camo Studio using iPhone as webcam add some great new features with overlays and lower thirds. Plus much more.

Beta this week. iOS 15.6 Beta 3 was released. Apple Seeds Third Betas of iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 to Developers
We are on week 2 of Beta iOS 16 for developers. Also HomePod Software 16 will be available to public beta users for the first time there are some new features in iOS 16 that I was pleasantly surprised to find. When you type a temperature in Celsius it will automatically bring up a conversion to fahrenheit and kelvin. This was in the messages app it should apply to other apps. Same applies to time zones type in a time with a time zone in messages it will give you the local time for the recipient.
We talk about more WWDC 22 announcements and items that were not reviewed during the event and other topics this week.
Stage Manager controversy won’t go away: A lot of people with slightly older, non-M1 iPad are NOT happy that Stage Manager is limited to M1 iPads. Apple claims that older models (non M1 iPads) won’t be able to offer the “Full Experience” for a variety of reasons like faster internal storage and more RAM. Some fire back,“ then make it less capable for older iPads” which is not something Apple is likely to do.
With this we are starting to see cracks in the Intel/M-Series Processor divide with some features now pretty much M-series only, leaving still quite capable Macs in the rear view mirror. Live Captions in FaceTime, Sidecar with Reference mode only for M-series Macs and M1 iPads, and Emoji Support in Dictation Mode
Stage Manager controversy won't go away, and Apple can still fix it
iPadOS 16 code confirms Apple has internal mode to enable Stage Manager on older iPads
The European Union will be mandating that all devices must have  USB-C as their connector. Our friend Andrew Orr did a piece on Lightning versus USB-C: Pros and cons for the iPhone
Sherlocked apps will they recover? Dave reached out to Reincubate the makers of Camo Studio and the current iOS app was crashing on iOS 16. Happy to report that Camo now with version 1.6.6 fixes some bugs but best of all it doesn’t crash on iOS 16 anymore. But then they have a plan to stay relevant as do other apps. https://9to5mac.com/2022/06/16/sherlocked-apps/
Apple as always never mentioned any updates to tvOS but this go around with tvOS 16 there were some notable updates. What's New in tvOS 16 for Apple TV: Features and Enhancements
CarPlay did have great updates we of course will not see full screen access in cars for a while. We review some of the features available in beta now and more. iOS 16 CarPlay: New apps, Messages and Podcasts improved

Why hasn't Apple TV provided camera support with iPhone? Would be a good idea.
