I've been seeing a lot of those "You with the dark curls, you with the watercolour eyes" things around and the idea of someone describing your eyes as watercolour is so soft to me.
I haven't used watercolour in a while, but I've watched people paint in it and it just looks so comfy, and sometimes the paint dries a little out of the lines but it still looks nice regardless.
This might just be the hopeless romantic in me, but just the thought of someone describing your eyes as something that might not be perfect but it's still lovely to look into either way is just really makes my heart flutter.
A commission from a good friend (@blairamok) a little while back, that I'm so excited to share! Aziraphale and Crowley's eyes, from—yes—That One Scene in Good Omens S2 ;_;
watercolour and a small amount of coloured pencil on Canson Moulin du Roy hot pressed paper, approx A5 size
i though it would be fun to try my hand at drawing the new ghoul cowboy character from the tv show with a retro twist! a little more in line with the older fallout style, just for fun, though this is a mishmash between a bunch of different ghoul design elements from 1 - 4. the mouth split and eye cover is pretty old school, but his facial features are more modern
i was thinking of fun ways to make him emote. eventually i landed on this, keeping his bottom lip and having the skin split as a body language supplement!
painted a pair of Lando & Oscar eyes for the lovely @dumbf1sketches — these were such a joy to paint! & definitely go check out Brid's art too if you're an F1 fan
using: A. Gallo watercolours on Jacksons Two Rivers cold pressed 600gsm paper, each approx 3.5" square
