hey guys I know I haven’t been here in like, ever, but!!!!

I got all As first semester (wahoo!)

I have been binge-reading the Dresden files after picking them back up, and I just finished Changes (the 12th book?? How many of these things are there?) they’re so good and you need to read them and become as obsessed with Harry Dresden as I am!!! This man is so noble and so autistic and honestly hot I would totally date him if A he wasn’t fictional and B everyone he knows and loves didn’t keep dying (also the magic system in the books is PEAK and I kind of want to write other characters in this universe. Crossover time?)

My yearly obsession with Dr. Horrible is back!!!! As soon as I have free time I’m just going to go back to staring at the ceiling and thinking about this musical tragicomedy thingy from 2008. I got the soundtrack stuck in my head two days ago, which lead to a rewatch, which lead to brain worms :/

THIRD OMFG uhm team fortress 2 comic #7 is out???? Like, okay :0. I’ll sit down and read it when I have time, prob tomorrow. I really thought we’d never get one, and I was worried Valve wouldn’t wrap things up in a satisfying manner, but based on vague opinions I’ve seen online it’s not bad!

I’m not sure how many fandoms I can be thinking about at once, though. I might explode and die.

OCD symptom i struggle with but don't see talked about a lot: inability to trust your own memory and/or perception.

as an example: i put my headphones in my bag. i say im sure they're in my bag, but what if i imagined putting them in my bag? i have to check, so i stick my hand inside and grab them. but then i have to check *again* because what if i just so happened to have another object shaped and sized exactly like my headphones that i just forgot about? so i have to pull them out of my bag and look directly at them to fully confirm they were in my bag

this is a fairly benign example but this also happens with other worse scenarios for me and it's. not fun
