Never realised how cursed kangaroos were until last night. I'm camping and 3/4 of my tent is surrounded by bush which must've freaked out the local wildlife. Waking up in the middle of the black night to the sound of HOPPING and shuffling outside your tent then a little nose loudly sniffing right near your head is a uniquely horrifying experience. Totally forgot I was Australian for good minute and thought I was going to be taken by something from the Blair Witch Project before I remember kangaroos exist

#the wave of RELIEF i felt when i remembered we don't have any large dangerous land-based animals in this country #aside from dingos but theres not really any where i am (and..... men.....)#if i was camping and there was a chance a fucking BEAR could run up on my tent??? or a mountain lion or wolf or whatever #no way no chance not happening i would stay inside forever #my posts

#one piece oc #dungeons and devil fruits #themetalhiro #other people's art #let it be known that this campaign is EXTREMELY AU mostly because our captain rolled the ‘king of the pirates’ dream #and there is no chance in davy jones’s locker of the daggertooth pirates beating the straw hats in THAT competition #so the daggertooths are basically taking the role of the straw hats in this version of the setting #there’s been a lot of development over the course of the campaign that ultimately led to her being established as a vinsmoke #most of it came about from rolling the Red Raid Suit on a loot table when we were doing a piracy #and bc gunner is the only one who doesn’t have a devil fruit she took the suit #then after she attuned to it the dm remembered that they’re genelocked #so we quickly worked something together behind the scenes #and it was decided that #1. vinsmoke sora has some distant three-eyes ancestry that judge wanted to tap into #2. lineage factor experiments to reactivate the genetic predisposition for the voice of all things resulted in the growth of a third eye #(2a. the third eye is actually attached to the same part of the three-eyed lineage factor as VOAT)#(2b. she has the pointed ears as a little treat for me personally from initial character creation)#3. because of the ‘kill on sight’ order re: three-eyes vinsmoke goji was sent away to be raised away from germa kingdom #beretta was what goji’s adoptive parents renamed her to conceal her true identity and she’s gotten attached to it #4. vinsmoke ichiji isn’t sparking red anymore now he’s sonic purple and he has thunder powers #she’s also trans and spent her timeskip training montage in kama land so iva did her a solid #pre-timeskip i had her presenting as male bc it wasn’t until i had started solidifying her character that i realized estrogen would fix her #but it’s been kind of cool how much easier she’s been to rp since her transition

Of *course* he knows about the secret library - he was a spy for a reason!#His secret skill is finding secret spots!#Like how your cat gets into spots you did not intend for them to get into.#So sad Lan Xichen didn't show JGY the library. I can't say something silly like 'haha secret lan makeout library'#...FOR THEM. This 100% was and continues to be the secret lan makeout chambers. Generations of secret kisses happened in there.#The things those scrolls and books have seen...#Next comic is a bigger one than usual! #Golly!#this is a shorter update but I wanted it to be that way. We've been in the house for a while. It's time to change some scenery!!#Chara using their game narrator voice like “golly!” and “amazing!”#Eimmet high :)) i was really hoping to be able to reference Temmie Chang here. An integral part of UT/DR!! She's awesome!#WE ARE OFFICIALLY ON Day 2 BABY #yes- there is still a little everyman easter egg as well as some other things... ;)#I tried so many new and different things for these panels. I was a little nervous implementing them. But im having a lot of fun with it!#i try to put my own artistic enjoyment above all other things :) its what I strive for.#Angle's landing day! excited for the festivities!#Chara is feeling stabby :)#loved detailing Chara's hand in the last page. When I detail the hands- just know shits getting real #I'm really happy with how I was able to redraw Toriel here.
