Simon trained the dog good, it’s like a son for him ( or a copy of him to be honest) and he is so proud of him when he sees how the dog stands besides you and scanning the area and people while you look so sweet as you talk to your friend at the streets and giggling about something. Giving your doggy pats like the good boy it’s while Most people walk around you because they are a bit too scared of your lovely dog who can be a sweetheart if he wants to:( (only to you, Simon and to the people he really knows like family and friends)

"He is a bit obsessive, but he means well," she said, waving off your obvious concerns. She glared at Mattheo, a silent warning for him to leave you alone. It seemed to work, as he went back to talking to his friends.

You let out a sigh, your shoulders sagged. You finally relaxed now that he had quit his staring. You'd never been comfortable with so much attention being pointed at you. "He's like a guard dog." 

Pansy laughed at that and nodded in agreement. Your words couldn't be any truer. "You know he follows you around in his animagus form. It's quite pathetic." She pointed out.

In the hybrid Yuuta fanfic you mention the reader was going to adopt a husky and I want to know if that was Nanami.

the husky in that fic was actually supposed to be megumi (something you had litterally no way of knowing unless you could read my literal thoughts), but i do also see nanami as a canine hybrid!

i do intend to go into it in more depth later on, but i think he'd be a dobermann - strong and stern and loyal, not very friendly but unlikely to leave your side, once he's decided you wouldn't fair very well without him. he gets along better with humans than other hybrids (especially feline hybrids with white fur and playful tendencies), but he prefers his own company, or failing that, to be alone with you, whether he's walking you to work or making you dinner after a long day or reminding you that unlike a regular dog, he doesn't need you to constantly shower him with collars and treats and stuffed toys. he's more like a roommate than a pet, and similarly, you're more like an overly affectionate friend than a proper owner. or, at least, you try to be until you wake up to his face buried between your thighs, his tail lazily swiping over your bed as he grinds his bulky, knotted cock against your thigh. you might be upset, but you only have yourself to blame. it's what you get for knot being a more responsible owner, for not being stricter with your beloved pet.

In which you take in a dog you found on the street without asking Vox beforehand.

Vox isn't necessarily minimalist, but he is certainly a bit of a neat freak

Things should be organized, clean, not perfect! But not messy

So, animals were never his thing

I mean, the hair, the training, the scratchy nails on the floor, it just sounds like a huge hassle

Besides, he is already busy enough with the company and you, a pet would just be another thing on the list

You, on the other hand, love caring for sick animals

You've brought a smaller creature home before for the evening or taken it to a vet, but nothing for longer than a few hours

But this time was different

The dog was so messy you couldn't even tell the breed, all you knew was that someone had hurt it and it wouldn't last long on its own

So you snuck the puppy into your jacket and headed straight home

Vox comes home to the shower running and you giggling, and he's already worried about whatever strange thing you're onto this time

He sees you, splashed in soap and water, and a dog with muddied water dripping off it into the drain

Expect him to dip into the pet market of devices; tracking collar, pet surveillance, automatic feeding bowls, etc...

All inspired by his want to give your dog a luxurious life

Probably got a custom collar with glowing blue spikes so he and the pup match

Would actually take a few days off work and sit in an armchair with his hands on his head if the dog ever had an emergency trip to the vet

college/university setting. Nearl is a promising academic athlete on an athletic scholarship

Viviana is the easiest route (joke: U-Haul by the third date)

Shiningale are roommates; you need enough points with both + trigger certain flags to get an OT3 ending

sleeping with Plat too early/too late locks you out of a proper romance ending. Her route is easy to screw up

Degen really dislikes Nearl and this is basically a shonen where you have to change her mind

Meteor actually has a kid (Gianna) and is separated(?) from the child’s other mother

I think there’s a bit of a tendency to portray Saileach as almost an ingenue? Playing up the contrast to the more physical Bagpipe and more troubled Reed, and leaning in to her characterisation early in Chapter 9. But I think this is a pretty major misreading of her post-Chapter 9 characterisation, as seen in her oprec and profile.

Yes, she’s noted to be kind and beautiful. Yes, she was a rear-echelon soldier with primarily ceremonial responsibilities as a garrison’s standard-bearer. Yes, she has no combat experience prior to leaving the Army. But that’s all stuff that happens before everything goes to hell in Chapter 9. In quick succession, she:

discovers a pending terrorist attack

tries her hardest to negotiate a peaceful resolution to the pending terrorist attack

finds out her own side is planning war crimes and genocide against their own citizens using the pending terrorist attack as an excuse

quits the army on the spot and runs around trying to save as many people as she can, including other soldiers and members of the aforementioned terrorist group

while also picking fights with her former superiors and the terrorist group

joins RI as pretty much the only organisation not doing crazy war crimes

ran around in the aftermath of a dirty bomb but didn’t suffer many ill effects on account of being Built Different

does a bunch of research on and adopts a codename from the language of the people her former superiors were trying to genocide in memory of her friend who introduced her to their culture

shows up and immediately starts a one punch man training regimen intense enough that people who work with noted hardass anime drill sergeant Dobermann take one look at her and say “hey maybe you should chill”

in response, went and got a doctor’s note that basically boils down to “i don’t need to chill. i’m Built Different. you should chill”

in her oprec she basically founds a town and negotiates a peace between surviving victims of the aformentioned war crimes

after getting the rundown from Reed - acting leader of the aformentioned terrorist group and the one directly responsible for the death of her friend - about Reed’s own guilt and relationships that led to it (per RTFS’s file), makes some understanding with her and starts working with her to help her people

She starts as a bit of a sheltered idealist, but drops the “sheltered” like Rock Lee’s training weights the instant shit gets real and has been doing 80 hit fighting game aerial combos against Terra being a cynical shithole ever since

Oh yeah there was a solid moment where dobes looked very "docked beauceron" in there, hold please:

Otto Goeller had Thueringen kennel and was incredibly influential to the breed after Dobermann himself died. I have been told he also stood out as someone adamantly opposed to the rise of Nazism in Germany, and refused to cooperate with the turnover of his dogs for as long as he could. I also believe, iirc, he is the one who refused the offer of including dobes in Schutzhund due to not being a viable way to access correct temperament. Many of Goeller's dogs had this look to them, though most were incredibly swaybacked and I think Wedigo was probably the nicest of the lot in terms of structure.

Goeller himself with two more of his dogs, one of which named Landgraf. Fenris' father is Sarek vom Landgraf, from a working doberman kennel that named their dogs in honor of a major contributor if not founding father of the breed. These two dogs are more close to what Goeller produced until the introduction of greyhound and manchester terrier, which very quickly created the aesthetic we know today. They looked like this until then.
