— what are some similarities between you and your muse? we do have a pretty decent amount in common... i like to think we're both pretty nice people. we both think a lot about the world. things are always Deeper when we look at the mundane, sometimes when it's not necessary fgjdfgdj. we try to look at things from multiple angles, see it from all sides where it's possible. his field of study is similar to what i wanted to go into. (zhilan, anthropology. and me, i wanted to go into linguistics. both very human studies.) — what are some differences between you and your muse? oh, he's WAY nicer than me for starters LMAO. i think it'd be hard to find someone as wholly forgiving and self-sacrificing as zhilan is. with him, it makes him almost unattainable. also he is. SO much worse at processing negative emotions than i am. i'm more likely to spill the beans on how i'm feeling. zhilan? he will bury that negativity until he dies. no one gets to know about this negativity, it's off limits. zhilan's more serious and earnest than i am. i'm more of a court jester. but he's braver than i am too, and that's something i aspire to. like nicolette put it: "always trying so hard to be open and fair to others while striving to remain true to himself." that's admirable! i like that about him. — who is an author that inspires you? i think ruta sepetys' novel "between shades of grey" has always been an inspiration for me. i love this book to the moon and back, and i've read other books of hers. i love her method of storytelling, it's impactful and emotional and just!! you can envision the scene right there in your mind, it's inspiring. — what do you look for in a rp partner? someone with a similar level of investment as me! i like just. being able to go apeshit with an rp partner about our muses. especially because i REALLY go ape LOL. but also someone who doesn't mind my really limited schedule and late replies because unfortunately i am, So Busy. if i can bounce off someone and vibe with them that's an immediate win for me, it's all abt the vibes!! — are there certain characters that you gravitate towards? answered here!

You CANNOT tell me Mephistopheles didn't lose his shit the moment he saw Lucifer's new haircut (my headcanon is that his hair was longer as an angel, but got partially burned off during the war).

He joins Diavolo for some afternoon tea and whatnot, is having the time of his life, and then - and THEN! Lucifer enters the room, unaware of the heinous crime he's committed. He and Mephisto have nearly the exact same haircut. Even the damn part is placed in the same spot!

Well, Mephisto can't just accuse him of something so ridiculous in front of his Lord. Ridiculous because who does he think he is?! But again, Lord Diavolo should not have to worry about such miniscule matters. This is something between him and Lucifer. This is personal. This is foul.

Yes, Mephisto considers placing a curse on him so that he becomes incapable of sporting the same haircut (something that makes his hair grow much faster, perhaps?). However, Lord Diavolo might catch wind of this, and as Mephisto has bitterly noticed, he tends to take Lucifer's side. Poor, fallen Luci-wuci. Fucker.

Anyways, seeing as he has no other choice left, Mephisto has to change his own hairstyle a little bit. Not too much, because an undercut is literally HIS shit, but enough to differentiate him from that damn ex-angel now-weirdo. Thus, the fashionable curl that oh-so gracefully falls into his face, tickling his nose, emphasizing the vibrant green of his eyes, is born. It's chic, it's fresh, it's new.

Anyways, don't you dare claim they have nearly identical-looking haircuts, because he will tell you to get those subpar human eyes of yours checked for a deadly illness because how could you NOT see the difference? Also, not that he cares, because fuck you, but if you HAD to be honest and if he HAD to listen to it... whose haircut do you like most? 👉👈 Like, only RHETORICALLY speaking, because the answer is obvious, but still... tell him. Be honest. But, like, honest to yourself, because obviously it's him who wears it better. Duh.

As Nyla moved up the bench to join the others, Sava’s smug expression melted into confusion.

“Wait—she’s calling you Lucy?” 

“Hmm, it did sound that way.” 

“That’s not—I want to renegotiate.” 

Lucy snorted inelegantly. “You already shook on it. If you try to take it back, you could end up with something worse. Like Saucy, or Wucy“—warming to the topic Lucy grinned wryly—“or Wussy!” 

Sava ran her tongue over her teeth and Lucy could see her cousin fight to control her annoyance, and then she sucked it up with a sniff and rose to her full height—which wasn’t any taller than Lucy’s 5’ 4”—, tugging the straps of her gloves tighter. “Doesn’t matter. When I score the game-winning goal, no one will even remember your name. It’ll be all Sava all the time and no amount of Juicy will matter.”

She stalked off. Lucy considered making a rude gesture but, with the cameras around her, she fisted her hands.

Maybe Sava was right. 

People always remembered the goals scored and rarely the goalies bending over backwards to keep a team in the game. If Sava scored the game-winning goal, her ego would be impossible to deal with.
