Summary: What happens when Ryusei’s biggest admirer/borderline stalker ends up with someone else who isn’t him? 

A/n: THIS FEELS VERY OOC, setting is confusing too bc I don’t even mention Blue Lock, I just wanted this to be very dramatic. Also, idk how to write Shidou in one shots so feedback would be very appreciated! Either way, I hope you enjoy! Also to clarify, reader is more obsessive but she learns and grows from it.

Shidou watched with displeasure as you chatted away with that stupid Bachira guy so cheerfully. He absolutely despised the look on your face as you watched Bachira talk, those love sick eyes that took in every single feature of his face, and the way your body subconsciously leaned in closer to him. It made him sick, honestly. Once upon a time, he was in Bachira’s spot, and it was HIS arm that you were begging to hang off of. 

Yeah, sure he found it annoying but he also liked the attention. Sometimes he’d indulge you and entertain himself by giving you just a miniscule amount of special attention, chuckling about how excited you got over a simple wink or sending you a small text of  sweet nothings. Then there were times where he would ignore you the whole day and leave you on read, seeing how upset and sad you looked the next day as your eyes silently begged him to look in your direction, and ultimately wondering what you did wrong for him to be so upset with you. Back then, he didn’t really feel that bad for you because it’s not like he really gave you any signs that he wanted something from you. Sure, he’d flirt here and there, but he never asked you to come back to him. Yet you always did.

Or, at least, you had.

Now here he was, glaring in jealousy as Bachira was the center of your attention and he seemed to genuinely enjoy it and care. Shidou did not want to admit that he fucked up, at first. He thought that you were only pursuing Bachira because you were just trying to get your mind off of him. Yet, when he tried to text you to assure himself that he could have you back anytime he wanted and that this was a phase, he got a notification saying he was blocked. You…blocked him. YOU BLOCKED HIM!?

He was going to confront you in public but he stopped when he saw what a happy couple you and Bachira made, it sickened him to his stomach to see you that happy with someone else. Now he was laying in his bed scrolling through his phone and reading the texts that he ignored from you, man, you were so fucking pathetic it was kinda adorable. He was also realizing that he was more than just an obsession to you, that your love for him might’ve been more genuine than he realized.

“It’s 2am and honestly, I can’t get you out of my mind. That play you made was amazing! Sure, it was overkill when you broke the guy’s leg but that steal was amazing…You’re amazing, Shidou. You’re gonna do amazing things and I hope I’m there next to you for all of it!’

“Hey, Ik you’re ignoring me today. I’m sorry if I did something wrong! I’ll take you out to make up for it if you’ll let me! There’s a great Korean restaurant that serves Yukhoe, ik that’s your fav!  I’d do anything for you, don’t forget that. <3”

Others might think that you sounded like an infatuated stalker (which you were at this time) but to Shidou, he felt butterflies rereading these. He imagines you laying in bed sending these messages, typing these in with a big grin on your face or maybe a shy expression, and sending it with that cute-ass giggle you had. He remembers just seeing the insane amount of texts you would send him in the middle of the night and how he’d just open, scroll, and close his phone. His grip on his phone tightens at the thought of Bachira getting these texts from you, eating up your praises and responding to them unlike Shidou. He thinks about how you could’ve moved on so fast but then he sees the date on all these texts and realizes, based on how much shorter the declarations of your undying get through the months, some even dating back to one or two years ago. There was bittersweet comfort that it took you so long to forget him but it was mostly bitter because all the time and he hadn’t wanted you as badly as he did right now. 

Scrolling through the other text messages, there is one that captures his eye that was from you. One that made his eyes wide but a smirk growing on his face and broke him out of his little pity party.

“I’m yours forever, Ryusei. Til the day I die.”

You were waiting for Bachira, giggling at your phone and yawning a little since the both of you stayed up so late texting each other again. You’re sure you’d feel more energetic after having coffee with Bachira, who was currently on his way. You smiled to yourself as you read his texts to you last night, he was such a sweetheart in every way. You chilled out a bit after your situationship (if you could even call it that) and learned from your clingy habits but it was nice to know that Bachira was as obsessed with you as you were with him. Honestly, it was hard for you to remember that you ever had a crush on-

“...Sh-Shidou?”

You didn’t even have to think of the devil’s name for him to appear, that wide smirk on his face that had you swooning but now, now you felt small and it left an ache in your heart. You no longer harbored feelings for him but the hurt that he caused you was still evident.

“Shidou? No, baby, it’s Ryu. ‘Member?” He grinned. 

The slam was made by how harshly his hand hit your table, his flattened palm laid on top of a piece of paper and he was looming dangerously close to you that you backed up as far as you could into your seat.

“Um, right,” You say, not expecting to deal with this, “So, uh, what are you doing?”

“Was gonna ask ya the same question. Y’know, last night I was thinking about you…’bout us.”

Us?

What Us? There was never an “Us”.

It was him, it was always about him.

“...Okay.” You begin with an uncertain tone because  you weren’t sure where this was going, “I don’t really know what you’re talking about.”

He chuckles lowly, once more moving closer to you. The past you would have been absolutely overjoyed for him to want to be this close to but right now, you felt cornered. Trapped. Your eyes briefly flicker to the door in hopes that your boyfriend would come in and save you.

“I missed you, you know,” He admits, his tone softer and more genuine sounding, “That’s what you wanted to hear, right? Now you can leave that freak and be with me like you always wanted.”

You are too shocked to respond right away, you weren’t sure why all of a sudden he was saying all this stuff after you hadn’t talked to him in months but you didn’t like what he was implying.

“Why would I do that?” You stand up indignantly and glare at him. He’s unfazed and tilts his head, that smirk of his becoming more irritating by the second to your eyes, “Because that’s the reason you’re with him, right? To make me jealous? Guess what, sweetheart, it worked.”

“...What? No. No, that’s not the reason I’m with Bachira. I love him a-and he loves me! He makes me happy, he’s always so sweet to me, and yeah he’s a little wild at times but I love that about hi-”

“You don’t. You love me. You’re mine forever, remember?” He then took the piece of paper that he put on the table, and showed it to you. It was one of the last texts that you sent to Shidou, you weren’t sure if you were angry or embarrassed.

Or if you were concerned because he quite literally had to screenshot that text, crop it, and then print it out just to show it to you.

“Til the day you fucking die.” He said, emphasizing each word by tapping the photo with his finger. 

You can’t do this, you decided. You can’t deal with him. You have for two years because you thought you were in love but you were slightly more mature now. More wiser in the sense of knowing that you needed to get out of there because you honestly couldn’t stand to see his face any longer. When you grab your stuff and start to move, he steps in front of you.

“Aw, what’s the matter?” He fake pouts, his tone all whiny and annoying.

“I need to go, Shidou, Bachira-” 

He pushes you back down into your seat, putting both hands in his pockets and looking down at you. It’s scary how he could change from annoying to menacing really quickly and you nervously swallowed some spit down your throat. Now you didn’t feel like you were cornered, you felt like you were in the mouth of the dragon.

“Shut the fuck up about him for a second, won’t you?” Shidou growled, “If you say his name one more time or call me “Shidou” again, watch what happens.”

Everyone is staring at you now, you notice it when Shidou stops talking and only silence fills the air. The other patrons at the caffe all look at one another or keep their eyes glued to the scene, uncertain of what course of action they should take. Shidou narrows his eyes at you, only to soften his features. Damn, you were really pretty when you were scared. He really did have to take you back because no one else should be allowed to see you like this.

“Well, this isn’t any good.” Someone spoke up from behind him, Ryusei could recognize that voice from anywhere. And from the corner of his eye, he saw you visibly perk up, “Why are you bothering my girlfriend, Insect?”

“Better question, why weren’t you here to stop me?” Shidou shot back with a now strained grin. Bachira held up the big stuffed animal, “Oh, I saw this and thought (Y/N) would like it so I was gonna surprise her with it. Now, am I gonna hafta’ break your jaw?” 

“Oh, I bet you think you could, bowl cut-”

“Shidou!” You frown, making him stop in his tracks, “Please…leave. Just leave me and Bachira alone.”

 Fuck, you’re cute when you begged too. He looks at you before glancing over at your boyfriend, who was just daring him to do something before he looks at you.

“Fine,” He says, stuffing the paper into his pocket, “but remember, you’re the one to blame for this-” 

   He then turned around and smiled at Bachira, “And you’re just my placeholder, kay?”

    Bachira stuck his tongue out in response and made his way by your side, wrapping a protective arm around you as Shidou left but make no mistake, princess, he was coming back.

After all, you belonged to him. You can’t just overwhelm him with your love and take it all back.

He won’t let you.

Akechi is aware that this "relationship" is built almost entirely off of Shido holding the potential scandal of it all coming to light (and the consequences) over their head and regularly sends memes to someone he has saved as "Puck" to shit talk Shido.

(Spoiler: it's just because, since they're born in Japan and raised by their Japanese mother, he goes by a Japanese legal name. Puck is his code name (aka what Akechi has them in his contact list as on his personal phone) and what he goes by in conversations they don't want Shido knowing about.)

✖︎ He tried to lock the Lammergeier in a golden cage, but ended up chaining himself to you.

✷ Shidou is an interesting and crazy man, he seeks to enjoy life to the fullest, and you became his new goal, along with playing football.

✷ His obsession with you started when he noticed how you were playing, as you were just like him and could make yourself along with others 'explode'. Shidou desperately wanted to play with you, knowing you could make him feel complete.

✷ Almost immediately, from the first interaction, he was open friendly and affectionate, also overly sexual with you most of the time. Whenever he was watching you, or when he was playing with you, his body was reacting in a violent and sinful way. Even during the time he played with Sae, it was never this powerful.

✷ He had to play with you, to be the only one getting your passes. It was a primal urge, the need to mark you as his and keep you for himself.

✷ You wouldn't leave his mind, at practice especially, he couldn't keep his eyes away from you, and tended to get violent with the ones trying to get too close. You couldn't even imagine his frustration when he got locked up for violent and aggressive behaviour.

✷ When he was released, he calmed down but would find other ways to scare others, putting some distance between you and them. It seemed like it was never going to stop, until you started to praise him. You would pat his head after a good goal, and praise him whenever he managed to play with his teammates.

✷ Everyone would think one thing: you tamed Shidou.

✷ Shidou would do anything to stay by your side, and even though he tried so hard to keep you for himself, locking you away… He was the one ending up at your feet, desperate for attention and love. Though, don't forget that he is a wild bird, he will not always behave and will certainly try to piss you off to see what you will do.

✷ With him by your side, you can forget about personal space, peace and a good night of sleep. But, you'll get a loyal man that won't let anything happen to you.

✖︎ You are the peafowl, and he is the falconer.

✷ Aryu is what we can call a pretty boy, most of his efforts go into his training and his routine. He is really hard-working, though he tends to get distracted sometimes.

✷ In the same way it went with Chigiri, Aryu got attracted by your appearance first, asking questions about your routine, and being overly touchy, but without bad intentions. Yet, even though he was pretty, and nice, being touched by an unknown man was weird and uncomfortable.

✷ When you slapped his hand away, asking for him to put some distance between, it was rather bizarre to see the male blush strongly. Instead of being mad or indifferent that he got pushed away, the man seemed to get flustered by it, and only wanted to be closer to you.

✷ At first, it was rather embarrassing and downward annoying to have someone following you around, but after a while, you got used to it. At some point, you weren't even noticing him by your side, only when he would touch your neck or massage your shoulders.

✷ Slowly, you would let him do his thing, do your skincare routine for you, massage your body, choose your clothes or change your diet depending on your habits. Without knowing it, Aryu was taking more and more place in your life, becoming someone you were relying on.

✷ It seems like he reached his goal, which was to have you for himself but without damaging your beauty or mental health. Aryu was rather proud of himself for this, knowing that as more time passed by, the more you would rely on him and let him have more control.

✷ He gently and nicely locked you in a golden cage, not wanting for the most beautiful bird to get tainted by anyone.

✖︎ You are the nice and gentle falconer, while he is the Steller’s Jay.

✷ You met Rin quite late during Blue Lock, and just like with anybody else, he did not care about you. He is not the kind of person to respect anyone, and not even acknowledge his own teammates, so you were just strangers.

✷ It took a few weeks to get acknowledged by him, and it was mainly because you were using the gym at the same time. The first time, he left immediately after, but after a few times, he started to get used to your presence.

✷ You never tried to talk to him, just throwing your water bottle his way when his own bottle was empty, or wordlessly helping each other if one is using heavy weights. It became such a habit to work out together, that Rin started to do the same exercises as you at the same time, copying you and incorporating them into his own workout.

✷ There was one time when you were unable to come to the usual routine of aftercare at the end of the day, since you promised Isagi to train with him. You thought it wouldn't matter, as you weren't friends or anything, and you certainly didn't expect to see Rin go search for you, frowning when he saw you training with someone else.

✷ Unbeknownst to you, Rin became used to your presence, the end of the day is the most relaxing moment for him, and he found it disturbing when you weren't here. So, uncaring of what others would think, whenever you weren't here at the usual time, he would come to find you and drag you away, whatever you were currently doing. He also wouldn't allow anyone in the room when you were both in here.

✷ At one point, you accidentally let out one compliment while he was doing an exercise, and since then, he would wordlessly beg for praise. Even in the middle of a practice match, you could feel his eyes on you, not looking away until you would look at him and nod, or smile.

✷ Then, it went to another level. By being together most of the time, Rin moved to your room, and having the same routine, you became the perfectly synchronized partner on the field. Rin did not only want to become the best striker in the world and beat his brother anymore, he also wanted to reach the top with you.

✷ He did not care if he became dependent on you, nor if he had feelings for you, and even less if he was out of character. You gave him the attention and care he needed, and now that he had it, he won't let you slip through his fingers. You were his emotional support, the only one he needed, so he will keep making you proud so you could stay by his side.

✷ Rin keeps you close, and makes sure you don't walk too far away from your shared path. But you still have control of the relationship, he's just a person begging for your attention and can't imagine you acting this way with anyone else.

✷ Your relationship is not necessarily toxic, but if you aren't paying enough attention, it may turn into unhealthy possessiveness.

✷ After the match between Japan U-20 and Blue Lock, Sae couldn't shake off that something was missing. Playing with Shidou awakened something in him, the fact that someone could throw themselves into the match and let him control almost everything was a peculiar feeling. He needed to feel this sensation again.

✷ Unconsciously, he started to search for a player that could fit his criteria, but no one was good enough. Until he met a street football player, the kind of person that didn't seem impressed when they saw him for the first time.

✷ Sae was set on making you his player.

✷ He would purposely pass by your usual spot to see you play, doing this multiple times a week until he made a move, waiting for you to be alone before coming forward, stealing the ball from you. You played like this for a little while, only stealing the ball from the other, and Sae couldn't help but feel nostalgic.

✷ After this, he came to play with you multiple times, observing and mentally writing down information about you, going as far as asking your teammates. He had an entire set of notes only about you, your habits, preferences and playing style. Sae knew you could perfectly fit every criterion he had.

✷ Convinced that you were the one, he offered you a contract that you couldn't refuse, and also rushed you to sign quickly, so you couldn't see some clauses. That's how you found yourself following him around, as you could only join a club he was in, and had to follow him when he travels. In other words, you were always together.

✷ The first time you played together in an official match, the result was truly breathtaking. If Sae and Shidou were making a good team, you two were a match made in heaven. You were unpredictable and could still perfectly follow Sae, making you fast and impossible to block.

✷ Sae has never felt that way before, and was ecstatic, though, he refused to show you his satisfaction or happiness.

✷ On your side, you were in love with football, and Sae's game was letting you have all the fun you want to while guaranteeing a win. So, you were set on following him until you get bored, feeling complete by his side.

✷ As time passed by, you got more comfortable and affectionate, not caring if the man wasn't giving it back. He was known to be cold and serious, so you never expected much from him, and would never complain or be too close. At the same time, you also got more comfortable and flirty with your current teammates, as you tended to go to them when Sae was busy. It was obvious that you had a good relationship with all of them, a really good one.

✷ When Sae noticed what was happening, it was time to pull on the leash and put you back in your place, at his side. There wasn't anyone that was as perfect and synchronized with him as you, or anyone that could make him feel complete. So why were you spending so much time with other people?

✷ Now, Sae had the urge to keep you for himself, so he changed the clauses of the contract, hiding it behind a renewal. It was clear to him, you should only be his teammate, and your sole focus should be on him only too.

✷ Sae doesn't lose his mind, he's too smart and serious for this. But, he is completely against sharing what is his, so he doesn't hide his dissatisfaction when someone is supposedly taking you away.

✷ It takes him a really long time to figure out his real feelings, but when he does, don't even dare think about leaving him.

When you ask him why he is following you. He's a quick witted guy and sometimes give you reasonable excuses (and sometimes half-assed because he sometimes zone out while looking at you in a lovesick way)

— "I just wanted to get to know my teammates better. That way, our chemical reaction will work."

— "Nothing... just zoned out."

— "Why do you care?"

— "None of your business, Y/n."

⌗ 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐣𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞?

He won't show how jealous he really is. He's gonna show it rather subtly because he thinks showing emotions according to him is weak. He either gives you the death glare at both of you (mostly the person that's causing his jealousy) and leaves the scene before he bursts or waits the opportunity to step in, just like a hero fr. For example:

— "Yo, cutie, what'cha doing here this late?~ Shouldn't a cutie like you get your beauty sleep?" A random Blue Lock player here says behind you, they have their hands in their pockets. They had a smirk in their face.

Rin is sipping on his water bottle after training at night because he couldn't stop thinking about you and decided to train till you're out of his mind. When he saw the both of you talking this late. He eavesdrops, seeing how uncomfortable you are.

"No need to be scared," They stepped closer to you but you step back, getting ready to throw punch at this guy but the dark green haired male that you know steps in between you and them.

"Leave them alone, weirdo." Rin scolded them, realizing that he's glaring at them. They nodded and walk away on the opposite direction in humiliation and fear.

Although, the angriest he has been is when Shido is been flirting you in front of him. When Rin's jealousy bursts, he immediately marches towards Shido and they both started a altercation.

Last stage, he 'randomly' starts bumping into you and starting up small conversations. In order to know your dislikes, likes, hobbies, and etc. That way, he'll become more closer to you.

-> since the first glance inside the okumura’s palace, the detective couldn’t think about anything or anyone else other than you. You stood so unique from the others, your clothes were in a much light and soft aesthetic compared to the usual darker colors from ren and his companions. you reminder him as the many princess from numerous fairy tales he read as a child.

-> soon after okumura death in public, akechi decided to visit the Leblanc to met with ren and share a talk with him, but for his luck, the boy wasn’t there but you were. Turned out that you were replacing ren for the day and by the smell of coffee in your clothes it’s seem that you’ve being here since morning.

-> without any other clients around neither the gang, you and akechi began chit chat around many subjects, but mostly ended with you being the main topic. He desperate wants to know more about yourself and the group, but mostly about how you, your life, your family, just about you.

-> well, didn’t took much time to learn about your personal life, at least what you let escape for the detective. Grades above the average rate, first year at Shujin, no club after classes and of course, single. In the other hand, you are happy that he never brought the phantoms thieves in the conversation.

-> the time he spend there with you meant so much to him! you don’t treat him differently from your friends, in fact, you talk with him as you even know him before, like an old friend who you met in the street after years of not seeing each others and now able to spend so much time talking what everything, oh he was loving it! unfortunately, he has to left after receiving a call from his “ superiors”, at least that what he said before finally leaving.

-> lucky or unlucky, akechi almost bumped into ren when he exit the coffee. Neither of them were expecting to met each other at this hour and both boys look kind irritated with their presence, but they didn’t exchange a single word. ren entered the shop and akechi stood still for a few more moments to see your interactions with the black haired boy.

-> fear, rage, despair, obsession. All those words describe the detective boy who witness his enemy hugging you, akechi hold himself to not entering the coffee and take you away from that dark haired boy. However he knew if he did that, you would never cared about him anymore.

-> days have passed since this lovely meeting and he couldn’t stop thinking about you. Your presence during that day made him feel not only better and he quickly realize that he fall in love with way faster than he expected nor want to admit it… he is slowly becoming crazy.

-> he will have you no matter what, he kept saying it to himself when checking your socials media and finding out your closer relationship with ren. The photo of you holding hands with that criminal made him almost throw his phone at the wall, but he calmed himself and took a long breath. He needs to focus, he needs a plan to take you away from that idiot and make you his.

-> the moment you were invited to visit akechi at his house, you were a little suspicious about it. How someone who your beloved boyfriend and friends say to be dangerous asked you to visit him? Well, it a good opportunity to learn more about his schemes and to lure him to tell you about shido!

-> when goro called you (he insisted to be called by his first name), his voice sounded like he was hurt or in problems. As a good person, you said “ I will be there when I tell my parents and ren—“ but then the call ended almost immediately, making you try to call him numerous times and no responses. Leaving you go at his apartment.

-> arriving there, you felt suspicious about this entire situation. The staff working there were waiting for you and were so calmly about your presence, they were waiting for to show up. That’s mean goro were never in dangerous and you were a fool to believe him!

-> you tried to call ren and the others, but no signal, making you hopeless to being rescue by your loved ones, yet something catch your attention, the metaverse app acting crazy and by showing a closer palace to your location. With the elevator getting closer to the apartment, you opened the app and instantly that effect took over your vision for a few seconds…but nothing changed, you never left reality, could be that an erro? This might be a good conversation for later

-> entering goro’s apartment, you were surprised by the it size and the fancy furniture, but you are quirky brought back to reality by his voice. His appearance is the usual as always, but the tone of voice give away how scary and desperate he is. What happened to the sweet boy you met a few days ago?

-> his hand on your shoulders isn’t giving much comfortable and how his words are failing whatever you tried to ask why he invited you to visit him with the fact that your phone isn’t working at all and the metaverse app going crazy, giving notifications every second. Your heart is beating so fast, your vision seems to get worsen every time you try to focus on what goro is speaking, something will happen, something bad.

“ [name], Is everything alright?”

His voice brought you back to reality and made you realize that you are sitting next to him at a white couch, how long have you been spacing out? And why his hands are holding your? Maybe is better to ignore the last part, after all, your mind is begging you to take it easy.

“ Don’t worry about it. I just little nervous to be here, you know, this place is quite big for living by yourself.” their remark are true, the pentahouse is huge enough to fit her family and many friends to live a comfortable live for years! “ Oh— I am sorry! I didn’t meant to say that…”

If he is sad or angry about what they said then Goro is really good at hiding his true feelings like expected, a celebrity like him knows how to properly act to the public and anyone who he interact. Once a neutral expression shift to a smiley one, giving the guest a glimpse of safety, maybe he isn’t that bad like many rumored him to be.

His hand, the one that isn’t holding their hand, moves and slowly began caressing your face. Goro kept doing it for a few more times until you finally gain some courage and move his hand off, his touch felt not only difficult to remove away, but also made them more uncomfortable than before.

“ No hard feelings, [name]. In fact, I think you are curious to why it invited you here, aren’t you?” the smirk on his face is a easy indication to know that he is ready to tell them something, however he is holding himself to not spoil.

Agreeing with the detective, you view him raising from the couch and searching for something inside of a drawer from nearby. When done, he walked his way back and stood in front of you while holding few photographs with a smile on his face, but this smile hide his true intentions.

Without saying a single word, Goro gave you the photos and the look in your eyes were what he has waiting. Your face is full of shame and distress for context in the many photos, showing your mother buying drugs in a dark alley then a older photo of her with many men and lastly, a photo of you and her posing in front of a poor area of the city, know it for the crimes and criminal who live there.

“ W-why you have such photos of my mother?” you can’t hide it and the trembled words give away how panicked you are with this, you knows about your mother’s past and how difficult was to her raising you due to her younger age, but you never expected to someone else knowing about it, “ You know what, I don’t care. I am leaving and going to have a conversation about this with the others.”

Not wanting to spend more time at his side, you got your things and quick walk toward the door with many emotions consuming your inside out. Anger, he made you worry about nothing. Sadness, you though he was different. Fear, he manage to track down your mother’s actions involve illegal acts.

Opening the door to leave and enter the elevator to leave the pentahouse, you find something else instead. A dark red mixed with black blocking the exit, making you trapped inside this place… This can’t be a palace, right? Taking steps back, you turn your head to the immense windows and realize you can’t the others buildings or skyscrapers from before, all being replaced by the same tone of colors, proving your previous theory.

Panicking. Your mind is slowly going crazy and losing itself as seconds pass, why is this happening? Why are trapped with him? And if this a palace, then where is the treasure? The pentahouse looks the same, the only difference is Goro whose clothes resemble more a suit like the Pharom Thieves, but darker and scarier than they want to admit it.

“ [name]~[name]…” your name in his lips sound so perfect. You trembling in his arms while accepting your fate in his hands is making him fall over and over! “ You know where is the treasure, right?”

They stood still, thinking about his question and trying to find an answer, nothing changed and even with furniture being expensive, he doesn’t really care about it, unless… The treasure isn’t an object this time, rather a person, you.

could i request yandere Akechi with a phantom thief darling (female), where he tries to convince her that the phantom thieves are no good but once he fails to convince her, he does it the hard way? thanks!

He plays the role of a charming, sensitive, and sweet Detective Prince well enough that Darling's defenses are lowered and she's completely surprised when he starts to criticize the Phantom Thieves more and more often. Yes, he's willing to work with them to take down Shido, but their power to change people's hearts is incredibly dangerous.

In truth, he's fine using the Phantom Thieves (including her) for his own ends, but he really doesn't want to dispose of Darling if he doesn't have to. But just like everyone else in that damn group, she's too stubborn and self-righteous about their mission. She's so naive, so stupid--just like them! None of them suspect him and she's constantly mothering him just like she always does...not that he hates that. He loves her for that. She just needs to do that all the time and exist to make him happy like nobody else has made him, is that so selfish???

It's easy enough to set up a trap for her in Mementos by sneaking into her subconscious while she sleeps and yanking her in with him. Once she's awake he pulls her body back with him into his apartment, and he decides that the best way to keep her captive is to keep her subconscious self in the areas he's explored as Loki--hidden, abandoned structures where Shadows avoid his presence and he can shape how he likes. Kind of like a Palace, but one deep enough that the others would struggle to reach if Futaba detected it.

In the real world, he tries to keep her unconscious since he's more powerful in the Metaverse than in the real one. And the more he wears her down there, the less resistance she has in the real world. All he has to do is corrupt her just enough that she'll give in to what he wants, and then she'll stop trying to escape in the real world. If she tries to resist in the Metaverse though, that's fine since he can overpower her there easily.

And since she has no chance of escaping now, he has no issues dropping his mask and showing her the real him. One minute he's a monstrous brat, pinning her down and indulging every single desire he's had as Loki and screaming at her for defying him and ruining everything--then, when she's more compliant and does what he wants, he's smugly affectionate at first but then gets more genuine and loving. See? This is what he wanted for them all along. Why did she have to fight it for so long?

okay but persona yanderes have a lot of really good potential for writing. just for p5 alone, all of the phantom thieves + akechi and shido can just straight up make you like them by changing your cognition, haru and shido both have quite of power through connections and money, akechi and makoto are both scarily smart (although the latter is canonically extremely bad at stalking), and futaba is a master hacker. and that's just the phantom thieves. takemi is highly knowledgeable about medicine and its production, and hifumi is also scarily smart

Yandere! Symbiote Host! Shidou

For most of your high school career, Shidou had plagued it after you were assigned to work on a project with him for a class. You had heard the rumors about him, the warnings your friends gave you to keep your distance from him, but you had just laughed it off. After all, it’s high school! Rumors were spread and greatly exaggerated most of the time and plus, Shidou was rather cute with that small smirk he gave you as you sat next to him for the first time. Looking back on it, you wished you could’ve noticed the predatory glint in his eyes when you walked towards him, like a dumb lamb walking to the slaughter.

You quickly realized how true the rumors were the more you two worked together. At first, it was normal; Ryusei complained about not wanting to do his project but begrudgingly did it anyways, being a rather surprisingly cooperative partner. You wished you had seen the signs; the way he’d get annoyed when your friends tried to talk to you when you were both working together, and you had thought that it was because he wanted you to work so you guys could be done faster. The way how if you stared at a boy for too long, either because they were cute or you were zoning out, Shidou would come to class the next day with bruises on his knuckles and bandages on his face while the boy had taken a “sick day” and to move seats.

However, he became more bold after visiting your house for the first time. You had known he was infamous for getting into fights and you would tread carefully that day but you hadn’t really connected the dots. Despite working diligently in class, there was still some work that had to be done so you suggested going to your house after school to finish it, and he couldn’t fight back the smile as he agreed and arranged a time with you. The night itself was normal, working on your desk and typing away and Shidou lying on your bed, going through the rubric with a jaded tone as his mind took in every aspect of your room. The scent of your sheets, the decor that you had, and the pictures and photos you had on your walls and nightstand. 

Then things took a turn when he stood behind you, leaning over your shoulder by placing an arm on your desk and a hand on your shoulder, and you originally thought he just wanted to see the progress. When he continued to stand there for an uncomfortably long amount of time, you looked up at him to open your mouth and ask if he needed anything. The way he moved was as fast as lightning and happened in the blink of an eye…because it did. You blinked for only a second after you turned and when you opened your eyes, his lips were on yours. The hand on your shoulder gripping the back of your chair and the hand he had on your desk was now gripping your thigh, you could feel his nails digging into your jeans. Your arms stiffened at your side as you tried to process what was happening before you pushed him off of you and yelled at him to get out. He tried to make moves for another kiss but you had backed up, grabbing the closest object that could be used as a weapon and keeping stern eye contact with him. He chuckled at your reaction before holding his hands up in surrender, taking his things, and leaving.

The next day, you planned to be done with Ryusei Shidou. You were going to present your project and then you were going to leave but Shidou wouldn’t let that happen. He somehow got ahold of your entire schedule for the semester and transferred all of his classes to match yours, waiting by your locker in the mornings and evenings, you were actually thankful for his soccer practices since they’d give you a break from him. He soon began to find a way around that too by practicing his soccer drills at the park from outside your window. His soccer ball startled you from your work and you looked up to see him across the street, waving at you with that smirk you once thought was charming but now left a sick feeling in your stomach. He’d practice late into the night, the dull kicking sounds keeping you up at night and leaving you unable to sleep until they stopped. One time you barely got any sleep because he hadn’t stopped practicing until 3 am. You were pretty sure he was sneaking into your house as well, finding blonde and pink hairs around your room.

You tried to tell people but Shidou always found a way to keep you silent. Sending candid photos of you hanging out with your friend, sending you pictures of him posing with your pets in your room which would’ve been cute if he was actually your boyfriend and not some creepy guy, and while he never sent a text to follow up with said photos, his threat was unspoken and loud. So you tried to deal with it as best as you could. Letting him kiss you on the cheek and wrap his arm around your shoulder, attending his soccer games even if you didn’t want to, and formally inviting him into your room and letting him watch you do your regular routine that you couldn’t focus on knowing his pink gaze was watching you with such intent. He’d still play soccer outside of your room, keeping you up as he kicked the ball then randomly stop to look up at your window and when you thought he was gone, you’d hear kicking again.

But now? You didn’t have to worry about that anymore.

Because you finally found a way out.

Shidou’s soccer ball had dented the lampost it bounced off of, when it rolled back to his feet, he intended to put his foot on it to stop it.

Pop!

He closed his eyes at the sound, his lips became thin before he kicked the deflated ball away from him as hard as he could. It was late into the night, the sky inky black with some stars glittering overhead, and he took some time to look up at them. He wondered if you were looking at the stars too, thanking your lucky one that you were finally going to leave the blonde in the past as you spent your first night in your dorm at some college you had applied to behind his back. 

As if, he thought to himself as his scowl began to grow. 

He was going to find a way around this, he always did. Even if you were careful enough to clean up any traces of brochures or mail from your college so Shidou wouldn’t find it, even if your dorm allowed you to bring pets so he no longer had any leverage over you, and even if you had changed all of your contact information and blocked him on every social media platform that you had. You were his, he decided that a long time ago, and you were never going to escape him.

It just pissed him off how he never had even seen this coming.

Once he gets you back to himself, you’ll never have a chance to get away with something like this ever again.

He’s so engrossed in his thoughts that he doesn’t notice one star in the sky shining brighter than the rest and gradually coming closer and closer to the field until it hits the ground. Close enough for Shidou to go flying a good distance but not enough to kill him. He looks back at the ground, a grey metallic pod steaming from its fall from wherever it came from, and while he’s focused on the shine of alien looking object, he didn’t notice the pink and black slime-like being that snuck out from the side. When Shidou rises to his feet, he looks up to the sky once more for an answer before walking closer to the thing. Slowly and cautiously, tilting his head at different angles to inspect everything about it. When he crouched down to observe it, the pink and black blob jumped at his wrist, causing him to fall back. He growls and tries to rip it off but it spreads to his arms, growing and consuming more and more of his body. The dented lamppost flicked on and off violently, the light showing Shidou’s silhouette trying to fight off the alien blob that covered him more and more every second until it seemed he came to an understanding with it, his flailing becoming compliant as he allowed it to become one with him. 

To turn him into a monster.

- NO BECAUSE IMAGINE HIS SYMBIOTE BEING NAMED STRIKER OR SOMETHING, ACTUALLY?

- Anyways, normal Shidou is pretty fucked up. Yandere! Shidou is even more fucked up. BUT YANDERE SYMBIOTE SHIDOU IS THE MOST FUCKED UP YOU WILL GET. Striker will augment his obsession with you into something more twisted.

- Symbiotes also have different abilities based off of their user and how they're created but I can totally imagine Striker having abilities based off of Shidou's goal poaching abilities and not to mention his kicks. He'd definetly be a brutal symbiote.

- Shidou being kinda unfazed when he kills someone for the first time. His first victim being one of those annoying ass friends who managed to hide you from him. When they yelled at him and threatened to have him arrested, Striker came out restrained them while Shidou cracked his knuckles and walked over to them. His instinct to kill a lot stronger because of Striker yet instead of using his alien power up, he still preferred to do the dirty work with his own hands.

- Most relationships of symbiotes and humans involve the human babysitting the symbiote but I definetly feel like the dynamic would be the opposite. When Striker locates you, Shidou immediately trying to gain control and grab you but Striker has to pull him back and tell him to wait.

- Striker is both annoyed and impressed with how great Shidou's obsession with you is. Impressed because it gives Shidou to take control whenever he pleases but annoyed because it can cause him to act rather...recklessly.

- He's thankful for it nonetheless his obsession with you is why Shidou willingly gave himself to the bond after Striker promised him to you.. However, it appears that when they became one, Shidou's obsession began to develop within the parasite as well. Which doesn't bode well because it also amplifies Shidou's possessiveness and violent tendencies to those around you.

- Striker will still act as a voice of reason, rationalizing things to Shidou as if he were a child. Giving valid points on why Shidou couldn't just kidnap you or threaten you to coming with him, how it'd be much more fun to leave little clues that Shidou was creeping into your life once more and just when you try and pull another miracle escape from him again, BOOM! He becomes a giant alien monster thing that will hunt you down to the ends of the earth.

- Shidou isn't very insecure when he and Striker bond, you'll have no choice BUT to love him with or without his symbiote since he's not letting anyone else have you so when he reveals himself to you, he isn't phased by your screaming and actually takes delight. However, it's the cold realization that shines in your eyes that tells him you now know you'll never get away from him. No matter how hard you try.

- Also you know how Eddie calls Venom a parasite and that pisses Venom off? Yeah, Shidou calls Striker "gloop" and Striker tries not to dignify that with a response but he will make Shidou walk into something. Hell, the next time you try to make a run for it and Shidou is chasing you, Striker might trip him up on purpose. Mostly because its not like you'll ever go anywhere they can't find you

Akechi has never considered himself the type to truly get close to people. He can pretend very well, but faking it until he makes it hasn't worked for him. However, on this fateful day, it all changes.

He enters the hospital, with the intentions of visiting a victim of a crime that got rushed in recently. The man had, apparently, gotten stabbed by his wife. While waiting for permission to visit, however, Akechi hears yelling from down the hall.

"CODE OMEGA! SEVERE BLEEDING OF THE ARMS, LEGS, AND PORTIONS OF THE FACE! BLOOD BANK TO ROOM 106 WITH 5 TO 6 UNITS OF RED BLOOD CELLS AND-"

He looks over just in time to see a group of doctors, nurses, and EMTs sprinting past him, pushing a stretcher carrying a young girl. Her arms and face are covered in variety of bandages, with blood seeming to seep through some of them. A pair of empty brown eyes seem to make their way over to him just before she passes through a hall, out of sight.

Room 106. Whoever she is, she's going to room 106. He knows that that is a room in the emergency department, where his victim is being kept. Without thinking, he requests to be able to visit room 106 if she stabilizes, saying that he wants to question if she has been a victim of a crime.

After meeting with the man he intended to visit, Akechi begins to make his exit from the hospital, only to be stopped by a doctor. The doctor's eyes seem filled with concern as he says "The patient in room 106 has become stable. I heard that you wished to meet with her. If you get any information on what has happened to her, please let the proper authorities know."

Next thing he knows, he's sitting right by the bed of the girl he saw rushed by him. She looks rather young to be in such poor condition, especially without any family visiting. Her eyes trail over to him, just like before, as she says "I'm Kianna. I don't have anything to tell you." Akechi forces a grin, saying "Well, Kianna, I am Goro Akechi. I'm a detective. I just want to know if you were a victim of a crime. It might be related to one of the other cases I am working-" "I wasn't. I did this."

He freezes up. That was a rather... blunt answer. This is the first time in such a long time that he's felt genuinely shocked by something. He once again looks around the room, even more concerned about the lack of family or parents in the room. "Do your parents know about this...? Or maybe other family members?"

"I don't have any family."

He sighs, trying to think of a solution. He feels off. He hasn't felt this need to protect someone in such a long time. This girl, however... Kianna has brought up such a desire. A desire to protect her. Protect her from others. Protect her from Shido. Protect her from herself.

He sits up in his seat, straightening out his posture, before asking "How about I take you in? Before you reject my offer, let me explain."

Over the next few months, he adjusts to having this girl in his life. He treats her like she is the little sister he's always had, despite that not being the case. No more harm has come to her so far, under his watch. Things are still wrong, however.

She is so small and fragile.

She might hurt herself, again.

What if someone else hurts her?

He's famous, so everybody probably knows about her, now.

It all happens in a flash. Cameras around his house, not to protect him, but to protect Kianna. Both inside and outside the house. He watches them through his phone while he is away, making sure no one comes in while he is away, or that Kianna leaves. She isn't allowed outside unless he is nearby. If she left while he was away, he would go into a full-blown panic.

Kianna isn't allowed to answer the doors, either. If a package is delivered or somebody simply visits, Akechi will answer it. What if someone hurts her? He's seen crimes committed at the front doors of a victim's home! It isn't uncommon! No knives are allowed near her. What if she hurts herself? It's happened before- that's how they met, for goodness sake! No forks, either. Only sporks or spoons. Forks are too dangerous. He'll cook everything! Stoves and ovens are too dangerous!

He's going to keep Kianna safe, no matter what, be it from others or herself.

Anime Update V2 44

Wolf’s Rain - The final action has arrived as we’re in Jaguara’s capitol, and at first it’s a bunch of the characters dicking around this place that honestly gives off a super squeamish and uncomfortable mood with how pristine and orderly it seems yet with an undercurrent of something dark and wrong at the heart of it all, and poor Hige is constantly suffering anxiety attacks from all the surveillance cameras that respond to the tracker he’s unknowingly wearing, which is how Jaguara knows of their presence. I really don’t like Jaguara, either - there’s something about her that just gives me the creeps every time she’s on screen, and Mary McGlynn voices her almost too well. Blue and Cher find out that Jaguara’s forces burned Quent and Blue's village rather than wolves, Tsume ends up in a room where the dead bodies of wolves are stored in tubes, and pretty much everyone has been captured except for Kiba, who’s pressing on to find Cheza.

Hunter x Hunter - Basically more of the same - more training with Bisky and more developments with the mad bomber, only now Gon and Bisky are getting pulled into the plotline with the bomber! We also met this guy named Razor who seems really cool and imposing beneath his pleasantly cheerful demeanor. I’d like more out of him.

Fruits Basket - For the most part, this episode bored the snot out of me. None of the characters I really care about were featured, as it focused on the thread of Hatori finding a new love in Ms. Mayu. The problem there is that this particular thread has not been a major thing in this series aside from Hatori’s backstory episode and one part of the spring break episode, so Hatori has usually been just the cold, deadpan family doctor who plays the Straight Man to Shigure and Ayame. The best parts here came at the very end, with some well done character work for Mayu and Hatori, but otherwise, it’s a slog.

Date A Live S4 - While Mukuro still doesn’t interest me too much, I’ll give her credit - I was not expecting her, with her heart unfrozen, to turn out to be this series’ second Yandere after Kurumi, nor had I anticipated that her Angel would have the Namine powers to override people’s memories so that they forget they ever knew Shido, all so his attention and affection could be cleared for Mukuro to have all to herself! Then came the next surprise when Origami flipped back to her alternate world persona who remembers Shido and wants to help him out. And then came the triple surprise of Inverse Tohka returning and challenging Mukuro, so now Shido’s stuck on a double date with the two possessive psychos! Dark comedy sure be dark right now.

Fate Zero - None of it this week, but I will be finishing it soon.

Re:ZERO - So...Subaru/Rem is a Fan-Preferred Couple, right?  ‘Cause the first few minutes of this episode left me with absolutely no desire to see them become a “couple” of any sort. Rem was far too cruel and unfeeling towards poor Subaru as she took his life once again, and given what I know comes later, Subaru would be toxic for Rem to pursue romantically as well. I did love Subaru and Beatrice asserting a really odd friendship and being allied with each other. But their best-laid plans got disrupted by Rem dying rather than Subaru this time (which I don’t get), Beatrice, Ram, and Roswaal all turning against each other in the aftermath, and Ram going out to kill Subaru this time due to blaming him for the death of her twin sister. It seems that no matter what Subaru does, he’s bound for more trauma, misery and death, but since he cares so much about not just Emilia but every person at this estate he’s gotten to know over the course of these loops, he’s resolved to save them all from further tragedy in an ending scene that hits really, really hard. This show’s gotten heavy!

Symphogear G - Though Kirika and Shirabe arrive on the scene to protect Dr. Ver and Solomon’s Cane from Hibiki’s onslaught, which Ver of course feels no shame in exploiting for his own benefit, Hibiki’s enhanced power proves so strong that it even cancels out Kirika and Shirabe’s Swan Song before they can go into effect! The villains made a retreat and are now scheming to strike back with a renewed Nephilim, but at the end we get a rather alarming revelation from the ill and close-to-death Nastassja, who continues to re-evaluate things and feel remorse for the dark path she’s put her girls on - none of Fine’s soul was reincarnated into Maria, making her not the reborn Fine after all. But we see Fine’s power come out of...Kirika!? Whut!?

MAR - A breather episode following the last two-parter, where we meet the skull-faced Chess Piece named Ash who’s surprisingly affable and loves to play with children, a super precious moment between Dorothy and Snow that shows how much the two girls love each other almost like family despite their Betty and Veronica rivalry, and constant build-up that someone in the Chess Pieces wants to fight Nanashi in the next round due to past acquaintance with him.

Gintama - Really solid episode this week, with the big festival in Edo City and an old inventor with a Muppet-like voice in the dub who is building advanced robots for the event. The inventor lost his son years ago when the son got involved with a radical nativist terrorist group and wouldn’t you know it, that group’s leader, Shinsuke Takasugi, comes calling to radicalize the father too, turning his robots into weapons to fire upon the Amanto and the Shinsengumi. It takes a parallel tragedy to make the old man surrender, all while we see Kagura and Okita do their first tag-team fight and learn that Gintoki and Takasugi share some history. The one big quibble I had was that Takasugi’s voice in this dub is atrocious - this is the guy who’s meant to be the Vicious to Gintoki’s Spike, and they make him sound dumb!

AND

Black Lagoon - Along with more Love Live! Superstar!! and Nagatoro San 2nd Attack, I returned to this anime after having steered clear of Roanapur for a whole year. The Washimine War arc, which takes a higher number of episodes to finish than most previous arcs in this show, is the final arc adapted prior to the Roberta’s Blood Trail OVA. Fitting since it really felt like a milestone for Rock’s character arc that began in the two-part premiere - he fully comes to terms with his place in the “twilight” of humanity, morals and ethics, and that he can never really go home again even when he’s physically back home, looking at it through a more jaded perspective. I was also impressed by how her kinship with Rock has helped Revy’s own personal growth, as she’s notably more regularly chill, contemplative and amiable rather than volatile and embittered most of the time, even having some sweet interaction with neighborhood kids. Of course as we see plenty of times, she’s still the same psychotic gun-toting bitch we love and has far from lost her edge. I loved seeing just how evil Balalaika really is and even getting more of her backstory as she does her dirty dealings. Yukio Washimine and Genji are up there with Japanese Jack Nicholson and the Vampire Twins as two of the strongest antagonists in the series; watching their story play out to its inevitable tragic end was very compelling. When the story wraps and we’re back to Roanapur, it feels like the right place to close the show on. The only sore spots I have with it would be that Benny and Dutch were left out of it aside from two scenes, and it was made a bit over-long due to this one detour where the loathsome Chaka takes charge of his gang and they abduct Yukio so Rock, Revy, and Genji have to save her, though it did lead to some very satisfying set-ups and payoffs so I guess I get why it was done.

Yes! Another canonical scumbag!

He comes in every Friday afternoon for a business lunch.

You have to serve him because he always sits in your section.

“That server is the highest standard I’ve ever had, don’t seat me anywhere else,” he told your manager after that first time.

And so every Friday you serve him and his colleagues or his business partners or his political associates. Men in suits with unhappy eyes who smelled like despair. You served them and smiled and acted professional and accepted the tips they offered.

Shido tipped you the best though, always.

Nonetheless, you wish he’d never set foot in here.

Because Shido is professional too, and when he’s here you operate in two separate spheres barely making contact- the customer and the server.

But something about the man makes your skin crawl.

It’s when he’s had a drink or two and he looks at you, you hate it.

When he’s the last one of his group left, with his nice, expensive car and driver waiting for him out front, and he puts a stack of bills on the table, or hands you his card and confidently tells you your tip, it takes all of your concentration not to shudder.

And the few times that he reaches out to touch you, to take his card with a slight brush of his hand on yours, or to catch your arm- always delicately, never with enough force to bruise- you feel sick.

Your coworkers call him a revolutionary and tease you with green eyes when they see your tips. But all you see is a man waiting to take what he wants.

Walking home is hell now; you keep expecting to hear the approach of that foreign engine.

And no one would hear you scream for help.
