It comes with a heavy heart to announce that voice actress Eiko Masuyama passed away on May 20th.
Guest stared in lupin part 1 and then become the greatest femme fatale in anime history, in 1977 voicing Fujiko Mine for 30 plus years until she retired from the role in 2010.
May she rest in peace.
The whole gang must have had a big reunion up there seeing fujiko-chan.

AIpril time!
Did you know it was Yasuo Yamada (the voice of Lupin the Third) who was singing this song in japanese version?
Well, in any case, now you do!
This brilliant performance shall not be forgotten, however I couldn't find any good quality of it. And so, I went through some longer journey of experimenting with AI voices and my music skills
and here it is, proudly presenting my beloved project of restoring and remastering of this song!
I hope you will enjoy this piece just as I do!
For more songs check "L3-800 music" in the searchbar.

= Use AI art with care and caution! =
It's surely an amazing tool which must not be used in the wrong way!
I promise my usage of AI voices will be only used for harmless fun and peaceful art like this.

Mini-review:
I've seen many movies like this one, but it was still pretty fun. I enjoyed a lot of the recurring gags, and most of the characters were likable too, even if they weren't as fleshed out as they could have been. I didn't really get the reasoning behind all the drama that happens in the second half, and the movie lost steam when it started focusing on that. Still, Yuki Yamada's charming and committed performance carries the movie through all its ups and downs. I can't compare this version of You Are the Apple of My Eye with the original one, as I haven't seen it, but I do think Yamada makes this one worth watching.
I’ve updated the Google Drive! I added the English PS2 game and guides on how to play the DS game in various ways. I have ADHD & have been told I get too wordy so please let me know if something doesn’t make sense. I made these guides so that hopefully a complete beginner to emulation is able to follow it and able to enjoy these games!
I’ll be making a guide to play the PS2 game next so be on the look out for that if you’re interested.
I also want to honor Eiko Masuyama so I have added the orignal Japanese file of TOTSK in case you want to hear her voice and the rest of the original cast (minus Yasuo Yamada of course 😢 he was taken from us wayyyyyy to soon). Wherever they all are now, I’m sure they’ve reunited and are resting in peace.
I love the fact that voice actors related to Lupin Series were cast as Arsène Lupin and Lupin II.
Yoshito Yasuhara as Arsène Lupin
- He admired Yasuo Yamada who acted as Lupin III from the first TV series when he was in the same theatre company. Actually, he was almost decided as a successor after Yamada-san passed away in 1995. He also performed as Toshio in “Lupin III VS Cat’s Eye” for the first time in a while. (For me, he is Captain Hastings in ITV’s Poirot of the Japanese dub version.)
Toshio Furukawa as Lupin II
- He performed as Lupin III in “Fuma Conspiracy” in 1987 but he was heavily criticised by audiences since the casting was changed in the film from the original TV series. Nowadays, it has been once again recognized and he commented when he got the role of Lupin II in Lupin Zero: ‘I’m proud of myself for taking part of such a big famous series like Lupin III TWICE!’ (He is well known as Piccolo in Dragon Ball and Ataru in Urusei Yatsura etc…)
Going a bit farther back than the early 2000's specials that I've been posting so far, here's one of my fave specials from the 1990's!
I heard that this special was the last one that Yasuo Yamada ever voiced in, which kinda bummed me out to know.
I really loved this special a bunch though! The story was actually really fun and I liked how it featured the main gang with some good enough screentime for all of them! I also really liked Fujiko being girlboss even though she's not my absolute fave but I admire her from a distance time to time, PFFFF
The animation was pretty nice and even smooth and bouncy in some parts, which I love me some of that, the artstyle too! (Biased because I also watched Harimao's Treasure and I loved that special too lol)
After the preliminaries and days of deliberating, here are you VOICE ACTORS COMPETING! One will take home the spot of Tumblr's Favorite Voice Actor!
A note before they are introduced! If you would like to support any of them send in an ask or make propaganda, any propaganda you make and post yourself should have me tagged! As well using the tags #favevabracket or #favevabracket2023!

No harrassment, hate, or vitriol will be tolerated. We are here to celebrate the work of voice actors not tear each other down
This is all for fun! Do not take it super seriously!
