As a fellow OC x Canon artist, I have a few things to say.

Even though I didn’t think Rocky would have a romantic interest, your OC changed my mind. The sillies are sillying and it’s adorable.

She’s so cute an’ golden an’ smol. Would squish. LOVE THE HAIR. She looks like an angel fr.

Don’t listen to the haters that shipping canon characters with your ocs is trash. It’s not trash. It’s coping and it’s beautiful.

the bittersweet between my teeth - chapter five

As expected, Ava is already there when Bea shows up, thankfully inside and cozied up at one of the tables.

She’s wearing her Mariners jacket again, no beanie as her hair falls down her back in wavy curls. She’s watching something on her phone, but the closer Bea gets the more she notices how tired she looks - dark circles under her eyes as she sips on something in a Superion Coffee cup.

“Ava?” Bea calls out to her, watching her look up and smile.

“Morning, Bea.”

Oh, her eyes are red. “How are you?” Beatrice asks, setting her bag down and taking a seat across from her.

Ava puts her phone down and sighs. “I’m good,” she’s lying - and not very well. “A little sleepy, but Camila hooked me up with her coffee of choice.”

“So it’s mostly sugar then?”

This makes Ava laugh. “Basically, chocolate caramel latte. It’s like desert with a kick.”

“You should pace yourself with that, you’ll be bouncing off the walls.”

When Ava takes another sip, she grins with the straw in her mouth before the sound of a hollow slurp comes out. “Whoops,” she shakes the empty cup. “I bounce off the walls anyway, right? Shouldn’t be much different.”

Beatrice wants to tell her no, she doesn’t. She’s delightfully happy and energetic and makes the cafe feel alive.

thank you so much bb :) - i'm very much not trying to burn out! I usually only limit myself to 1K a day, except on weekends or light days. i'm really not writing a whole ton, even today i was very tired and i only managed to hit 1k just at the end of the night :)
