Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana coming to PS5, PS4 on May 23 in Japan

Falcom will release Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on May 23 in Japan for 4,400 yen, the company announced.

Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana first launched for Switch on April 27, 2023 in Japan, followed by May 25, 2023 in Asia. It is a high-definition remastered version of Ys: The Oath in Felghana.

■ Reversible Cover Jacket

The PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 physical editions of Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana include a reversible cover jacket featuring both the new and classic box art illustrations. By switching to the classic box art, it is possible to recreate the PSP and PC packaging.

■ First-Run Bonus: “Music from Ys III” Physical Reprint

First-run copies of the physical edition will also include a reprint of the difficult-to-obtain “Music from Ys III” soundtrack, which includes all the songs from the PC-8801 version of Wanderers from Ys (Ys III), which is the game Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana is based on. It includes the same songs as the original release, but the jacket and CD label have been designed as a newly repackaged version, making this a valuable collector’s item.

Falcom has released the “Prologue” trailer for Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana.

The trailer is an original, six-minute video featuring adventurer Adol Christin (voiced by Yuki Kaji) himself as he tells the story of his journey to the Felghana region, where Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana is set. Why did Adol and his partner Dogi, who have been traveling the world together, decide to head to the Felghana region? The “Prologue” trailer is directly connected to initial part of the main story, so watching it will provide a deeper understanding of the overall story.

It's me I'm the person who thought Ciel noSurge DX for switch never came out because I stopped hearing about it so I never pursued it.

I have gone through SO MANY Trails games with my brother (they're not really my cup of tea but he loves them and I do want to spend time with him sometimes) for the deal we made that he would one day translate for me / play Ciel noSurge* with me if I spent time with him on Trails games.

I suffered through Rean Schwarzer (for 4.3334 games, which should have been 2.33333 games at the most tbh), and if I can hang out with my friend Ionasal kkll Preciel (who I may want to date 👀) as a result, it will all have been worth it.

Yes at some point we're gonna do Dangan Ronpa V3 as well (that's the name of it right?) because I hear the US localization... leaves a lot to be desired.
