Mentopolis was such a fucking treat and that last episode had some seriously banger moments. Tension and Hunch becoming friends is so important because, if you remember, she absolutely deliberately make him look like a bumbling idiot in the articles she wrote about him because elias was trying to shame himself, trying to stifle his own curiosity so he could focus more of his attention on what “mattered”, which was his work

Them becoming the best friends that they “should have been a long time ago” shows elias taking his first mental steps as well as physical to escape from gobstopper industries and i am so so excited
