I’m almost done rewatching Fantasy High which means I will soon be watching Sophomore year. Which means I will be making many posts about my reactions and many of them will likely be about Riz and Adaine because I love them.

So glad I was able to finish this just in time for the finale! This season was pretty fun, and everyone's interactions/chemistry was great to watch.

Oh, Elias can join a beer league! You know, where a bunch of dads who used to play hockey and other amateur players can drink alcohol together and play hockey! Hockey first, then bar, but yeah!

Thoughts on Mentopolis Episode 6:

Conrad accepting Self-Loathing and her part to play in Elias’ mind? Her then being able to focus in on Elias’ actual wrongdoing and motivate him to take steps to make amends for it, instead of just focusing in on himself? Her being able to let go of spending her time focusing on his childhood passions, and letting them blossom? Definitely didn’t hit home at all, nope. 🥲

A. Tension for Mayor!

The image of Elias having fallen out of a window, shit himself, punched his boss and stolen a birthday cake, asking a woman out AND SUCCEDING- he did NOT need to worry about the dandruff so much.

The Fix and Pasha N. and their kids deserve the world. That reunion with Ichabod was so sweet- idk if hockey has low-stress leagues you can play in for fun, but I hope Elias found one if there is.

The idea of Danny and Conrad living together is amazing.

Imelda coming up to Hunch’s office in the end? Chef’s kiss.

you read my mind. or maybe I read yours considering you said it first. I don’t know how that works.

you ever just think about Dan Fucks asking a court room of people "when was the last time you saw the sun?" because every day it is raining or gloomy overhead.

i know it was probably a throw away line, based around TROPES (which I love), but Elias lives like this. His mind is constantly in a state of overcast or down pour. When was the last time his mind was at peace? With the sun shining? Was it before oxytocin was literally banned in the city because they haven't been physically touched, except by a barber, in who knows how long? Or has it been so long that no one, even generationally, can remember what it felt like?

So now that Pasha and The Fix are married canonically I guess Delia actually could logically be their kid. Hyper fixation and Passion create Devotion, you know?

Who’s ready for the last episode of Mentopolis? I’m not!

This is Miss Delia Votion when Elias is devoted to his job and science. This is what she would likely be wearing in the very beginning of the first episode.

I just thought I’d make my own little Mentopolis PC, because why not! Her name is Delia Votion, and she represents Devotion.

I was thinking about how people become devoted to things, to causes, to people.

“Oh, why is she dressed like that?”

Thank you for asking! Her dress is based off of a 1930s peach colored wedding dress. I then decided to add some other colors while keeping her mainly peachy orange. She has rings that surround her, like wedding rings that signify your devotion to your partner. A complete circle for complete devotion :)

She doesn’t just represent the devotion to a romantic partner, she is also the devotion to a cause, an object, or something of the sort.

For example, Elias is devoted to his job, so there’s that.

Thinking of a making a mentopolis oc

Her name is Veronica Vox, she the voice in Elias's head. For the city, she the host of Mentopolis's main radio station. She's a very impressive voice actress, able to make her voice sound like anyone and anything.

You know how when you read something, and it's like you're hearing the words in your head? That's pretty much her job

She's also responsible for the songs that get stuck in his head. Her other job as a radio host is of course playing music, though often she'll just play the same few lines of a song repeatedly. She thinks it's fun. She has a whole record library of every song Elias has ever heard.

She was actually the one to bring the Case of That One Song to Hunch Curio's attention. One of her records had lost itsnlabel long ago, and she was playing it a lot, but couldn't figure out what it was

She's something of a celebrity, being mentopolis's premier radio host, and hangs around high society a lot

I might wind up drawing her later, but for now I'll just give a physical description. She's a very whispy figure, and looks like she's made out of a dark indigo smoke. She wears very professional attire, suits and blazers and the like. She's always wearing these big headphones, and carries around a 1930's style microphone. The whole city can hear anything she says into it, but she can only really use it for things Elias is reading or hearing in his mind
